Amazing local shop that works on performance cars. They are the only third party repair shop I trust to work on low profile wheels and tires, as well as alignments. Even for something as simple as a tire patch, its done with care and attention to details (they actually use torque wrenches to tighten lug nuts, by hand). Ive never been disappointed with the work done here.

Ive been taking my vehicles here for years for my suspension and wheel related needs (daily drivers - not necessarily performance cars). While limited in scope of the services they offer, they do what they do very well. I really appreciate that they will work with you to figure out what is required and talk to you honestly about your options and timeline. No pressure to buy your parts through them (rather than bring your own parts) is a plus.Quality of their work is very good in my opinion.

This shop is absolutely TOP NOTCH! I scheduled a much needed alignment after swapping just about every suspension, bushing, and bearing I could under my car. It takes about a week just to get into this shop because they stay so busy, but it was very clear why after getting my car back. I waiting in their very comfy waiting area for about 2 1/2 hours while Nick perfected the alignment on my car! The car was aligned exactly to my specs, every caster, camber, and toe pitch was perfectly tweaked to my liking. I was extremely satisfied with their work and would recommend any car guys that car for quality about cost to take their vehicles here. Nick was very helpful. He took me in even though he said he was very busy. He took all the time needed to get the alignment correct. My car is a 2017 corvette and not many shops can do the rear caster on this car. So I drove over 2 hours to get performance chassis to do it and Im happy I did! Would definitely go back.

I was thrilled. Nick and team went above and beyond for me and I appreciate it as I dont trust just anyone to work on my race car. Ive been to Cary Performance & Chassis on multiple occasions with both of my cars. One is a daily driver and the other a beast of a weekend fun/race car. These guys are extremely professional and know their stuff and always go out of their way to do whats right for the car. My daily has a ton of miles on it and needed a lot of items sorted out to get her right again. Nick and crew not only tackled what I asked them to but uncovered some items I would never have guess needed to be addressed, all in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. Excellent service yet again from Nick and the crew! I have had both of my cars worked on here and have always received outstanding and timely service. The waiting area is nice and clean and the staff will answer any questions associated with the work being performed. From race prep to tire changes, I am completely satisfied! I am scheduling to have tires put on my daughters car in the near future.

As the old garage saying goes you can have 2 of the 3: fast, cheap, or done right. These guys were fast and did the job right, and it wasnt cheap, but it was very fair. I had a big list of suspension repairs done to my 24 year old Miata, and an alignment. The quote was a bit staggering, but was done by book value on each separate job. Since several of the jobs overlapped they didnt double bill for the labor costs, and ended up saving 3 hours of billable time. This type of honest customer service is what everyone should be looking for in their mechanic.

Called Yesterday morning to get an estimate on control arm repair and I was told they were not able to give a quote right away as Nick who gives quotes was out for an hour or so but that he would call me back shortly. I never received a call back so I called back today and spoke with Mike and told him I called yesterday for an estimate and he said oh yeah hold on and then hung up the phone. Not how I would treat a new potential customer but I guess this is how it works here. Ill find another shop to do the work.

Always get great service at fair prices. Knowledgeable on lots of cars and different adjustment possibilities. Talk through options and considerations. Nick has been there a long time now and Ill go back from N Raleigh when adjustments are needed.

I took my S2000 in for an alignment, with a pretty heavily modified suspension setup, and these guys jumped right on it. Almost as if they really wanted to work on my car, which was strange because they had some very cool stuff they were already working on, but I it made me feel like they truly cared about my property. Anyway, it took a couple of hours to get the car aligned to the specs I provided (in their defense, it was waaaaay out of alignment due to settling) and they hit the numbers I was looking for. And a year later and that alignment is still holding strong. Ill be going back soon to get ready for the next track season. If youre picky about who works on your car, you will not be disappointed in this shop.

I highly recommend this place. They are always helpful, accommodating, and honest. They have come through for me in a pinch a number of times and have gone above and beyond. They are also intimately familiar with the needs of high performance cars and track/race setups.

I was able to get my Lotus Evora aligned and had the A/C checked out which they went above and beyond trying to figure out what might be wrong when the A/C didnt blow extra cold. Definitely will be back again in the future.

Nick and his team were extremely patient and knowledgeable with helping us recently diagnose and repair an issue with our tire pressure monitoring system. Ive been going here for many years. The guys here are very thorough knowledgeable. They take care for your car not just as if it were their own but as if it belonged to their parents. I recently I had an issue with my truck not running well. I call over there and explain the issue and told them how dependent I am on using my truck. They were able work me in, properly diagnose the issue, ordered parts and get me back on the road.Aside from my I truck I also have a pristine 2006 Mitsubishi Evo that I take here. Told them I was taking a trip to a far north state. Alignment, height adjustment, camber alignment, basically the suspension works. Had a smooth ride to my destination and back... insanely smooth. Ive never had an alignment so good.

5 stars for quality customer service and for taking pride in their work. I recently had my E39 M5 serviced here to change out to my summer tires and perform a wheel alignment. After the work was performed and I got home, I saw that my driver front wheel had a very light scuff mark (which appeared to be on the clear coat). I detailed my wheels the day before so I knew the condition of each of them (Im an OCD nut with this car). I washed the wheel to see if that would help but it didnt change. Uh oh, I thought. These things are hard to prove and I didnt want to engage in any fight over this.I called AP&C and explained what happened. After sending them pictures and a video showing the scuff, they immediately apologized and offered to fix it. No fuss. No questions asked. They took responsibility and fixed my wheel. It wasnt a cheap fix either. The work was performed by an extremely reputable wheel shop called Prince Wheels.Little scuffs happen here and there (the BMW style 65 wheels are very unforgiving in their finish) and things like this can happen at any shop. I appreciate these guys and their willingness to go the extra mile to take care of their customers. 5 stars all the way for me.

They take the time, and have the skills and tools to do things properly, which is critically important when your travelling 160+MPH on the racetrack.The have serviced my Corvette 2005 C6 Z51, my 2015 C7 Z51, and my 2018 C7 Z06 Z07.The only glitch in my recent experience was an additional charge that was not quoted initially, which they mostly refunded.Highly recommended.

This is especially the place to go if you have a lowered vehicle or have special alignment needs (beyond the stock suggested values). I had recently installed new tie rod ends, and the tech noticed that a lot of thread was showing and he hoped that it wasnt being held on by just a few threads. Nick took the time to call a store with the exact part and have them measure the length of the threads to ensure the install was safe. Have been coming here for years. They made a customer for life when they pulled out an actual torque wrench to tighten the wheel bolts instead of using an impact wrench. This is the only tire and suspension shop I trust.

They have exhibited minimal diagnostic ability. They tried to fix something on my car ended up charging a whole lot of money where as actual issue was something else and was barely one tenth the cost to fix it which I did myself later. Under the old management this place was better.

They do expert suspension alignments and have great customer service. The techs wont be confused with camber plates, adjusting the pinion angle and whatever else you need. Labor rates are competitive and appointment times are kept.

Had an alignment done yesterday. Nick took the time to discuss the work that had been done to the car, the cars intended purpose, my expectations, future goals of the car, etc. and then he and his team performed their voodoo magic. Prior to the alignment, my car didnt turn as sharply as Id like it to. It also hunted a bit in a straight line. Post alignment results are great. Car feels more planted, turns in quicker, and Im now starting to fully realize the benefits of the coilover install. Do not hesitate for a second to contact Nick and his team. They know their stuff, were on the mark with their estimate of cost and time, and are very professional. I will be sending all of my cars their way.

The guys at this shop, Nick and I forget who was helping him - were really helpful in explaining what needs replacing in my trucks suspension, and took easily ten minutes out of their day to thoroughly go through it. That alone was impressive to me! I highly recommend checking them out.

I most recently had front brake rotors and a new exhaust installed by the guys at Performance. Ive also used them for tires and alignment on both of our cars, as well as brakes on my wifes car. In every case, the work has been perfect and theyve been great to work with. Highly recommended.

Unbeatable. Superior service - above and beyond. My wife got a nail in her tire that rendered it irreparable. It had only a couple of thousand miles on it - so we wanted to replace it with the same kind. Automotive Performance & Chassis had none in stock. Mark drove across town to the BMW dealer to buy a tire so that my wife would not be stranded. Then to top things off, he would not allow us to pay him for his time. If I could give 6 stars I would.

Best place around hands down for wheel balancing, they have a road force balancing machine, takes a while but well worth it, and it didnt even cost much. Super friendly too, the experience was excellent, 0 complaints.

Great experience with a complicated repair. What started off as a simple pair of tires being replaced, became a challenge because of a faulty tire from TireRack and then a faulty tire pressure sensor.The guys at Automotive Performance were more than willing to put up with my weird schedule and went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied.Tires are tires, but the balancing and alignment were at another level of smooth. The only thing smoother than the ride was the laid-back attitude of true professionals who took care of me all along the way.By the way, this was a 2011 Toyota mini van, not some exotic sports car. I cant imagine ever going any place else.

Great Service! My track tires were professionally mounted including tape over the wheel weights. The CCW Wheels were mounted with BFG G-Force R1 Slicks and there is not a mark on them. Im going back for an Alignment and corner balance on my BMW.

This is the best shop I have used for tires, alignment, and suspension work. Ive been through half a dozen chain tire shops, and most of them will not use a proper torque wrench to install lug nuts, insist that tire plugs are OK, or sell some other load of rubbish. I am always reassured to take my Miatas there and find the other bays full of race cars, as well as German and Itallian exotics. These guys race, so they know how to make your cars faster. Ive been a customer for over 5 years.

I was referred to Performance Chassis by a colleague, and went on a Monday to tell my tale.I have a 2011 Toyota Camry which has been lowered with H&R springs, and was having major issues with a hard pull to the left. Ive taken the car to JiffyLube, Firestone, and other chain automotive businesses and had the same outcome: You need an alignment, well charge you over $100 for it and send you on your way. At PC I was told I needed another alignment, but the work completed was far beyond that of Firestone and similar.I was first informed Monday that I could be seen Wednesday morning at 8:00 AM, to which I thought was a nice surprise for being an impromptu arrival on my part. Upon arrival Wednesday, I was informed my wait would be longer than usual, but this was due to Raleigh traffic and the technician being unable to evaluate the left pull until about 9:30. I waited until 9:30 and they got right to work on my car.The technician took the car onto I-40 and immediately experienced the pull, and returned faster than I imagined (I was on the phone with my dad and told him that they returned as we were talking to my surprise). I figured the car would sit outside the garage bay, but instead was taken straight onto the alignment rack.After a short amount of time I was informed that the issue seemed to be just an alignment issue, and was shown the figures on paper. The technician started working on correcting the alignment not once, but a second time with assistance from the owner to ensure they got everything as right as they could. They later informed me that my left shock was weak, and the car rode 3/4th of an inch lower on the left, which could cause a slight pull. They recommended I replace the mounts and shocks seeing that the car was approaching 120K miles.Long story short: I was beyond satisfied with the work Performance Chassis did on a grocery getter. They are competitively priced and dont try to overcharge for anything. I was only charged for the alignment service, where elsewhere I wouldve been charged for the diagnostic as well as the service. I talked with the owner about them doing other preventative maintenance, becoming a family mechanic, as my true home was 2 hours away while Im in school.They will be seeing my business in the future for any and all services needed, even if some things may be more than other shops. They are a small business that cares deeply about their customers, and will always try to make things right.

I have become a regular here in the last year for getting my sports car prepared for the track including several aftermarket modifications and tons of maintenance. Nick is very straightforward in communicating and I couldnt ask for better service.

Ive had multiple cars worked on here, and every time the work has been done poorly or incorrectly. They charge exorbitantly high prices for alignments and generally have poor customer service. The owner is a jerk-- short tempered and very unpleasant if the service is questioned. Highly recommend staying away from this shop!
