I had a wonderful experience this week leading a new Q5 at Audi Cary. I worked with Johnnie, who was great - he took the time to help me find the model that was right for me, and helped me weigh the pros and cons of not just Audi models but competitive models as well. He wasn’t pushy and was just an overall nice guy. The sales and finance managers were great too - they got me in and out quickly, and I never felt pressured or rushed. I’ve bought/leased multiple cars in the past and this was by far the most straightforward and easiest experience. I would definitely recommend Audi Cary - especially Johnnie - to anyone considering an Audi.

This Audi dealership is fantastic. We had a blow out outside of Cary, NC driving on a Friday late afternoon from NJ to FL. We called from the side of the highway and spoke to Wayne. It was 25 minutes until the dealership closing. Wayne stayed after closing to check us in.The next morning( Saturday) Edie from service, called us and said that our car would be ready by lunch time. They sent a car to our hotel to pick us up. Not only was the job done well, but they even took the time to wash our car. Both Edie, her team and Wayne sent us off on the road.We have never experienced service and kindness like this before. They were truly amazing.

It’s only right I keep the public informed and updated on my latest Audi Cary experience. I was able to speak with Wes and he spoke with Derek and together they came up with a plan to help with repairs to my vehicle. Derek even addressed a non related issue to my vehicle and fixed that as well. My car cranks how it’s supposed to and it doesn’t misfire anymore. Derek was very active in keeping me updated and he was very confident that they knew the problem and would fix it. I can’t thank they guys over at Audi Cary enough for coming through and helping me get back to work. My car runs like new and even feels way better when driving. Thanks again Audi Cary

Scheduled appointment to have the required NC Emissions Test to enable me to go to the NCDMV, pay the fees and receive the new sticker for the license plate. Was greeted by Renny Willis, Service Advisor, who was very pleasant. She had my paperwork ready and committed to have my car back to me within an hour. I felt welcomed by her friendly, efficient customer service, she was outstanding. She even helped vacuum the car after the wash to ensure that I got if within the hour. While waiting for the car, I sat in the showroom and had a pleasant conversation with Brian Roe, Audi Exchange Manager about the shortage of cars due to various supply chain issues. Without asking, he went back to check on my car and told me that it would be ready shortly. Everyone at the dealership is committed to great service. When I got the car and was ready to leave, Brian came out and handed me a document with a trade-in value that he would offer for my 2017 Audi. It was significantly more than I thought it would be and I asked if there were any 2022 white Q5s on the lot and the answer was yes. Brian introduced me to Henry Stotz, Audi Brand Specialist who showed me the car, agreed to a slight reduction in the sticker price and I agreed to the deal. Henry was professional, pleasant and knowledgeable and processed the paperwork the following day and I had a new car. I didnt feel any pressure, I was treated like a VIP by everyone and overall the experience was amazing. Audi Cary is a great dealership, treats everyone in a special, friendly way and is one of a very few premier dealerships in the area. Traveling from Hilton Head to Pennsylvania on June 17, our “check engine” light came on. We found that the Cary dealership was relatively close and drove there.A woman came right out and assured us that a service tech would immediately look at the car.A short time later she told us that it was a “miscommunication “ within the car system and we were good to go.They looked quite busy, but we were treated as though we were the only people there at the time.The woman even made sure we had clear directions to get back to I95.This was an excellent experience.

Hi Kim, Thank You for your response. It should indeed dismay you that I only gave you a 2 star rating. This time it was for service. Specifically, I was in for a recall service on my 2020 A4 during which I asked your team to check out the rear left tire because I believed the tire had a slow leak. The estimate to patch up this leak was $60! I believe that is a significant rip-off and that is one of the reasons why I gave you a 2 star rating. Other factors include a very small service waiting area, no premium snacks and very close proximity of the service area seating to sales. Your sales team is a whole other issue for which I have already provided feedback to your dealership and also to corporate Audi America but nobody has bothered to respond or even acknowledge in over a year so I guess that your dealership doesnt care about your less then professional sales people because you have a monopoly in this area. Is this the detailed enough feedback that you were looking for?Thank You Kim for acknowledging. Its wonderful that you take covid precautions to heart but to me that sounds more like an excuse because only some of the precautions are being implemented. Nobody in your dealership was wearing a mask. Also, you didnt address my primary concern for a 2 star rating which is the $60 cost of doing a tire patch while the car was already in your service bay for the recall work. I was able to get that work done at another reputable shop for only $14.99 including tax. So please acknowledge that item as well and more than just acknowledging, please commit to not ripping off your customers in every little way possible like what your unscrupulous sales team tries to do.

I recently purchased a used Audi S3 from Audi Cary. I could not have been more excited after having a great experience with the purchase of the vehicle; it was a dream come true to finally get what I’ve worked hard for.That said, this experience would change in merely a week and half. My high recommendation and applause for Audi Cary quickly went downhill after running into some issues with not only the car, but also the management team.Before you knew it the car had trouble starting, which I learned was because of a bad cell in its battery. As this was so soon after purchase I had assumed it was just a one-off and would be replaced for me at the nearest dealership. Unfortunately this was not the case. After speaking with Audi Cary’s GM Wes, I realised the lack of concern and aftercare that Audi Cary have. I was accused of leaving my lights on and was told they would “consider” reimbursing me. Of course I was then frustrated after spending a substantial amount on a car that won’t start after only a week of driving.While getting the battery replaced at another Audi, I was also told my rear brakes are at 3mm and should be replaced as soon as possible. Again, this is only a week and a half of owing this car, and of course the brake situation was not mentioned during the buying process. This Audi has 37k miles on it and the rear brakes went before the front brakes - this is not normal. I once again called Wes who had no interest in paying this either.It’s hard to recommend this Audi dealership for your next Audi when they have the standards and practice of a used car dealership. Do not buy a used car here - they will not provide an inspection report, disclose on anything possibly wrong with the car (BRAKES, which shows their regard for safety) and have no interest in helping you.I’ve already sent this complaint to Audi NA and fully expect to follow up. Find an Audi dealership that cares about your safety and has a standard for how they treat customers.

Well, I usually trust Audi Cary for everything. This time it was a transmission rebuild for the mechatronics unit for my S4. Got the job done, seems fine. But you’d think for the 9k I spent they could’ve at least detailed the car a little bit. Seems like a spritz of air freshener and that was it. Gotta say not the five star experience I KNOW I just paid for.

Moving from the DC area, when I took my car into the Cary dealership for some routine maintenance, they discovered a problem with the paperwork for my Certified Preowned Audi. Derek-- service manager-- was AWESOME in helping me resolve what the Arlington Virginia dealership failed to do when I bought the car to assure the CPO stayed with me. He must have pinged the Arlington dealership 10-15 times, escalating all the way to the dealership manager with no resolution (Arlington was horrible from start to finish) so he finally went to his Audi rep and got it resolved. He kept me updated throughout the entire process too. Even though I havent any major work done at the Cary location yet, I feel confident in the service I will get in the future, knowing hes at the helm.

I cannot recommend Audi of Cary highly enough. Without getting too bogged down in the details, I recently had a situation with my brand-new 2021 Q5 that was very atypical of Audis. When I went back to the dealership for help, everyone including senior management, Bobby P (sales mgr), Robert L (sales) and Jim F (finance) all stood up and did EXACTLY the right thing in order to correct the situation for me, the customer. I have a local Audi dealer in Wilmington that I simply cant do business with. So Ive driven to Cary for the last several years to either purchase my cars or to have them serviced, and this recent experience proved me right all along to only do business with the Audi Cary team. I simply cant say enough good about them. They have earned my loyalty over the years and especially recently. I never thought Id have a favorite car dealership and sales team, but i do in Cary. They treated me like family and Ill forever be grateful.

I have been using Audi of Cary for years and the reason I travel from Hope Mills to Cary to take care of my car is because of the great and courteous service. The last time I went for service I left with a new car. I had been thinking about it for a while but I wasn’t even planning on it for that day, but the sales person Eric Danford was so attentive and knowledgeable that it was easy to purchase a new vehicle. This was my first time coming here and it will be my last. The customer service was bad. I was lied to, cheated, and my time was wasted. I needed a relay replaced and a light holder changed. They had the relay but the holder would come in on Saturday. When I called to schedule my appointment I was told that they were not handing out loaner vehicles multiple times. I dropped my vehicle off Wednesday. I was given a quote/estimate for everything on Thursday. I was told that I would get a call Saturday about picking up my car and whether the holder was in or not. But, on Saturday, I had to call them multiple times and they had no clue what had been done and couldnt find any paperwork. Hours later, I finally got a call that my car will be ready at 4pm and if not they will provide a loaner car (which I was told multiple times prior that they couldnt). I arrived at 4pm, it took a while to find my papers, then when going over the papers they were going to charge me $200+ extra for nothing. I had to wait for them to fix the price and then after paying they asked me to wait in the lobby. I waited 40+ minutes for them to bring my car to me. They didnt even notice I was still waiting until 5pm when they were all about to walk out. Theres no excuse for this. It was straight incompetence. Complete disregard for my time and money. And information seemed to change depending on who I talked to. The only reason this isnt 1 star is because the issues SEEM to be fixed, but given the experience I had I wouldnt be surprised if I have to take it somewhere else.

Trying to buy online with their “Buy from Home “Option since Saturday..Completed all requested forms and uploads. Received a call Monday morning and scheduled a call back due to it now being a work week for me.. we did connect and some questions answered with a promise of follow up today .. Now remember.. I am a approved client with their dealership.. ready to go and potentially buy once all my questions are answered ( which are not hard ones) Additionally, I am in Charlotte so I again am willing to even give this dealership more of my time ( 6 hour round trip not to mention the additional time that will be spent in the after the sale sales office called the Finance Office) So here it is 5pm and they are closed with no follow for a client looking to spend 60k ..Is in me or is going into day four of their process a sign to just move on ..?????

Horrible experience. Ran into multiple issues after the purchase of the vehicle with a trade in accepted. Instead of them calling to ensure they get all supporting documents or whatever was it that they need a week or longer will go by and we will call to follow up on status to then be told we are missing a signature somewhere, or that they mistakenly sent pay off to the wrong bank and needed to re-confirm the bank of our trade-in. We have called 5 times to follow-up on the process never once receiving a phone call. It’s been close to two months of the purchase and they have failed to pay the trade-in. They sent the pay-off to the wrong bank and failed to communicate that the payoff was returned due to incorrect bank account. I would highly recommend shopping else where! This place would be a -3for me.

Just had my wife take her 2020 S4 in for its first oil change and tire rotation. 4600 miles on the odometer. They sent her down the road with a $450 bill telling her the car needed to be aligned!. Ive spent the last 30 years of my life in the car business and after reading a copy of the alignment print out Everything was in perfect specification except one adjustment that was just barely outside the acceptable limit that you could almost chalk it up to machine variance or operator error. I would have never done it. Her not knowing any better went along with it. I understand Everyone is responsible for their own actions however I feel there should have been some sense of responsibility on the part of the dealership to exercise common sense.. Instead they just saw dollar signs. When I called the service manager, he didnt offer any concessions what so ever. Wont be back. Audi of Raleigh, although further away will be where I go from now on..

20,000 service with Kevin. Asked for a loaner because I was short on time, was told it should only take an hour and a half at the most. I ended up at the dealship over 3 hours without an update. There was nothing done to my vehicle that required me to be there for 3 hours. The fact that I was assured it would be quick so I could not use a loaner and it ended up taking so long is ridiculous and unacceptable. Will not be going back unless this situation is fixed.

Update: In 2013, I met Johnnie (greatest salesman in the world) when I was having my 2004 A6 2.7 S-Line serviced. I asked him for a business card and said I would give him a call one day when I was ready to purchase a new vehicle. Well I did extensive research for 10 months and showed up one day in 2014 and test drove a S7 which was an awesome experience from customer service to test driving. I told Johnnie that I would call him after test driving a Mercedes CLS550. Well we showed up the next weekend and test drove a S8 and the entire experience was even more awesome. I asked him to give me a few weeks to figure out what my wife and I wanted to buy. He was very understanding and not pushy at all which made us feel very comfortable. When you buy a high end car, you have done all your research and know when you want to buy it. So I called him up a few weeks later and said that I was on my way with my check book to buy a 2015 S8. From beginning to end the process took less than 2 hours and I was on my way home with our new car. After 2 Audis in the garage, I had room for one more....... I went back 3 months later and bought a 2015 S5. After almost 4 years, Johnnie called and told me about a green 2018 RS5 that just came in on a truck. My wife wanted this rare green RS5 every since seeing it in Car and Driver Magazine. I told him Id be there in 2hrs, gave him a deposit over the phone, and bought it the same day. Total time from beginning to end at the dealership was less than 2hrs. As always, Ed (sales manager), Johnnie and the entire staff was extremely polite and professional.Johnnies Knowledge - 10Johnnies Professionalism - 10Johnnies Concerns for our needs and well being - 10Johnnies Honesty and Business ethics - 10Of course 10 is the highest rating!Based on our experience, I will definitely be buying another Audi soon.

Following up on a previous review.this is regarding the service department.I own a 2013 S5 that I bought in CA. in 2015 and since then, I have brought my car to this Cary dealer for service and maintenance.Staff is courteous and attentive to your concerns. They will also provide you with a fair assessment of your vehicles needed maintenance.While it can be frustrating to have a recurrent issue, it is not their fault if the car was built with defective parts, and it is therefore important to not take that frustration on the front desk staff.I do my best to be positive at all times as it will brighten everyones day.Being patient and respectful will take you a long way. should there be a negative experience, bring it up to them directly and they will make it right!Special thanks to Michelle for her care, patience and understanding with my car issues.I hope you all have a great end of year!thanks again,Frenchie.

This was by far the best car buying experience we have had. My family and I have bought from several other dealerships in the area, we reside in Garner so some closer ones made sense but this time we were searching to replace a Lexus we had. The process and everything involved was tiring, Audi of Cary made it very simple, we saw the vehicle we wanted (A4 Quattro, Premium Plus) and it was a CPO so we knew we would have a peace of mind with a good warranty. We submitted all the info online, got a call back from our salesman Eric, arranged a time to look over our trade and give us a chance to look at the A4, all while behind the scenes they made the deal we wanted happen, no back and forth over why they couldnt provide a fair trade in value, they honored the KBB instant cash tool, had everything prepared, and worked with me to find even more hidden savings (thanks to Hugh the Business Manager!) and we walked out with the car we wanted. I want to thank Eric Danford for such a pleasant experience, it was more like meeting an old friend and talking while signing documents, and Hugh Bodenstine made finalizing everything a breeze, very welcoming, not pushy, no tricks or anything. Amazing experience. I also want to thank Ed Vaughan for meeting us and making us feel welcomed to the Audi family. Definitely will be buying from you guys going forward! Bought an older cash car from this dealership, I know it mostly sells new high end cars, this was an older car they had for sale. First off the sticker price was $7,750 we thought ok prob have a reasonable dealer fee/tags/taxes etc... they charged us a $700 “documentation fee” which was ridiculous then we simply asked them to make sure cars fluids were topped off, air in tires etc.... three days later after buying the car it won’t start the battery is totally dead and mechanic says there are no fluids in basically any of the reservoirs! I had to buy a new battery, have all the fluids filled, put air in the tires bc they were all way off. I can understand paying a documentation fee that’s maybe a percentage of the sticker price but a $700 fee on a $7,750 car was insane to then have the car die, have to spend $150 on a new battery and pay a mechanic to fill all the fluids! These dealerships have their own mechanics and they could have easily made sure the fluids were at least filled! After thinking we were going to spend around 8k we ended up close to 9k mainly bc of their “documentation fee”. I’m hoping there aren’t anymore issues bc of course they already said they wouldn’t give us even a small one week warranty and now I see why! Definitely would not recommend them to anyone.

We called ahead to ask if they had a specific car that was a 2020 model. We were told they did and they would be outside waiting for us at a certain time. Turns out, they did not have the 2020 but the 2021, which cost more. So we were lied to just to get in the door. At that point we did not trust them and left. They then had the nerve to text me on my personal number late at night to reconsider, which is inappropriate. Obviously we arent going to make a deal and put our business with this company. We found the exact car with another Audi dealership.

Parts department is very rude, the guy I spoke with had such a bad attitude and nasty tone didn’t won’t to help with getting me the information needed so I spent my money with the Audi dealer in Raleigh rather them . Spend $5300.00 in parts and getting bad service is not acceptable

My wife and I went to Audi Cary to see about getting into a new Q8. Our lease is up soon, so it was time to shop. We had a really great experience with the staff there. Kim, at the front desk, took time to make sure our 2 year old daughter was okay. She provided coloring and snacks as our daughter took a liking to her. This made it easy for us to shop around and speak with a specialist. Johnnie Richards was our brand specialist and took the time to explain many leasing and financing options. He didnt pressure or bully us into a deal, which we really liked. He understood our situation and gave us the time to think about our options. He also was great on following up with us after. Even though we didnt do a deal at this time, not because of Audi Cary, but our own decision to wait. When we are ready, we will most definitely be seeing Johnnie and the team at Audi Cary. Excellent experience!!

Moved here less than a year ago and our first dealership was a joke so it was time for a new one. Stopped in here a few weeks ago for an oil change and my regular maintenance. Aaron was incredibly friendly and explained everything that needed to be done for my Q3s regular maintenance schedule. Found out I needed 2 new tires, Aaron gave me prices up front and offered to put me in a rental as they had to order the tires and they wouldnt be in until the next day. I had to work the next couple of days and I drive about an hour each way and didnt feel comfortable driving a rental that long so we opted for me to bring my Q3 in a few days later and Aaron had me in and out with new tires and all the bells and whistles in no time. Took my husbands A6 in a week later for its oil change and regular maintenance, which was pretty hefty price tag as its one of the bigger maintenance markers. Kevin explained everything to a tee and listed out the viable options. He again offered to put me in a rental as he was concerned with this size of maintenance it would take some time...I opted to stay in the showroom as I was in no hurry that day. Kevin had me out in a little over 2 hours, he put multiple guys on my husbands car just to get it done quickly so I didnt have to wait long. Hands down some of the best service from a dealership Ive experienced!

They did a fantastic job at the service department, you could tell they cared about the customer experience and not just checking blocks. We have moved several times since purchasing our Audi and have experience with Audi services from all over the country. This location got us in an out ahead of schedule. Everyone was very professional and they followed throigh on our dozens of questions. They sat down and talked a about our vehicle after, even though there was a huge flood of customers. I had a service performed on Monday...They did an adequate job on service, and the staff were all very nice.However.... It bothered me greatly that most employees were not wearing masks in the service area, and I saw some walk through this showroom area without a mask on. They did put one on for one to one customer contact.... but then took them off as again....and were all together in close proximity in the front area.They said they would wash and vac my car, but I saw no evidence of vacuuming, (but it was clean on the outside.)Honestly I would have given this dealership a higher rating, if it wasnt for their poor adherence to the infection control practices we should be following now.

I started working with Eric Nitsch back around mid-2018 as I started to think about purchasing an Audi after multiple BMWs. Eric was a great resource who understood that I wanted to take a little bit of time to see what 2019 would bring for the S5 Sportback as far new features, post year one model corrections, and so on. He did the furthest thing from being a sales person and only reached out when he had updated information or if I had a question or two, which was much appreciated.When I happened to locate my 2019 S5 Sportback in the new Quantum Grey color with every option, including the new Black Optics Package, just off the ship by chance and heading to Audi North Atlanta, Eric stepped in to immediately reach out to that dealer to schedule a favor. Had check engine light on my Audi A4, and taken to Audi Cary for diagnosis. Told me that Crankcase valve to be replaced. Paid $253.18 for the part and came back home. Checked Audi website for the price for the exact vehicle, it is $216.67. Called Audi to verify why they are charging more; the answer I got was that they can charge “whatever they want” customer need to verify the price, before committing to the service. Point I want to make here is that do not go there thinking they will charge the customer with official advertised Audi prices; they charge anything they want. Think before you take your vehicle to this place for service.

Here is an email I sent over a week ago to Leith Audi Cary. No response.Hi Jennifer-After shuffling me around from one person to another and then telling me my appointment was moved to Wednesday (it was not,) they informed me that this appointment was an hour appointment. You specifically told me that was a 30 min appointment and than I could wait. I actually have something to do at 5. So very disappointed.This is by far the worst service I have ever had at Leith Audi Cary. As I sit in your waiting room, I know that I before thought your service here would keep me in an Audi forever. That is no longer the case.The lack of service, the lack of decorum in the customer area, employees not wearing masks, employees arguing over who’s in charge of my appointment, over who said it was moved to Wednesday. PLEASE PLEASE do not buy a car from here.Look into their yelp reviews they are more accurate. Also audi has a settlement against water pumps if your car is under 100k miles you are eligible for a settlement. Audi cary does not properly inspect their cars before selling them.

Jim Fryling helped me at Leith Audi Cary and had a wonderful experience. We went over numbers several times. He wasn’t pushy at all and really worked with me over my two or so weeks of deliberation. My Q7 had to have some time consuming Engine work done that took longer than expected but I was kept up to date all the way through and was thrilled to have my Q7 returned with zero odd noises!
