Wow! What a great experience buying a car from Hendrick Kia was ; start to finish. The dealership was very clean and everyone was organized and on the ball. I was in and out in less than two hours with my brand new car. Most of all I was lucky enough to get Micky as my salesman. Micky is sincere and sweet and you can tell he takes a lot of pride in his job. He was there with us every step of the way and even followed up the next day to make sure we were happy with our new purchase.
I just bought my first car this past weekend, and they made it an AMAZING experience. The service department is not up to par with competition. They are not staffed to be able to provide good customer service. Trying to schedule simple services is always 4-6 weeks out. No flexibility to help when you need support. I’m going to a competitor. Very disappointed.

Hendrick is the best dealership in the Triangle area to buy a Kia. New Sorentos are actually being sold for the MSRP (no $4000+ markups like other places are doing) and trade-in values are fair. Yes, there was a 3 month wait for a factory order to arrive, but it was worth it. Thanks to Todd Adams and the whole team for a great experience.

Upon moving to Raleigh, I had to come into a dealer for my Kia Optima to get some warranty work taken care of. I had taken extreme care of my vehicle and was worried of leaving it at a brand new (to me) dealership but Jason Dibble was phenomenal. He’s the only tech I’ve ever experienced that provided me with updates along the way so that I had no worry of the vehicles status and safe travels. She took the time to answer all our questions and when we had a small issue with the car after bringing it home, she was very responsive and helpful in working the details out to get it fixed! Purchased a Sportage here a couple of years back and the salesman, Todd Adams, was extremely helpful during the entire process. He was extremely knowledgeable on not only the Sportage, but every other car in the lot giving me the opportunity to make an informed purchase. The Sportage has held up well with no major problems. Some little things like factory recalls were handled by the service department in a professional and timely manner.I will be looking for Todd for my next purchase when ready - the Stinger looks nice.

I really dont like having to buy a car. I cringe at the thought. In my many experiences they always have gone poorly. Before I spoke with anyone at Kendrick Kia I passed a judgement on them based on my past experiences with Car Dealerships in the past. Let me be clear I have never done business with any Hendrick car dealership before this experience. From the beginning to the end, hands down the greatest experience in my life with buying a car. I mean from the top to bottom I felt comfortable and taken care of. I didnt feel like I was getting harassed or taken for a fool. None of the negatives from my previous experiences existed. Hendrick Kia of Carys entire Staff have shown me that not all car dealerships are the same. I will be back on my next purchase and I will come to this same location. Service Department Review: I think the staff moral has changed and unfortunately not for the better. They are not as attentive as they used to be when it comes to providing excellent customer service. The last few times I dropped my car off for service I left disappointed. The attention to detail is non-existent. Example: No Hellos, No how is your day, no courtesy car wash, not even an offer to drive my car to the front... (I had to search for my car this afternoon) When I purchased two cars from this dealership two years ago the service was excellent! They even had me watch a video on which the President of Hendricks thrives off great customer service. Well, unfortunately the service department has dropped the ball on this target area. Its like saying you are a 5 Star Restaurant but serving your food on paper plates. This 1 star review is for the service department... not the Tech(s) that works on the cars (because both cars have operated fine so far after being serviced) but the Service Department front desk staff is the reasons for this low review. Hopefully this will be addressed so that you can truly say and advertise that your customer service is top notch in ALL your departments. From the time a customer drop off their car(s) to the time the drive off the lot they deserve great customer care.

Great service center if your Kia has an issue you never want to fix. Made an appointment about 60 days in advance only to find out upon arrival that this center isnt authorized to service my vehicle. Had instructions from Kias official UVO service center, which this center had no information on. A month later and my vehicles software is still completely locked. Only reason this review isnt one star is that I wasnt turned away at the door.
I came to Hendrick Kia to look at a specific car. I have never purchased a car before, but Hendrick made it super easy for me. Remington was very friendly and not pushy at all. He went out of his way to make sure my mom and I had a great car buying experience. Even when my car was taking a little while to get detailed, he sat with me and my mom and chatted. The only reason I come back to this place is because of a technician. Jason Dibble has been servicing my cars for years and the soul purpose of me remaining a Hendrick customers. Even before having a sorrento he worked on my Pontiac G6 back when this was a GM building. His attention to detail has always been a key factor on why I return. Its great to know I feel like I have a personal technician when I know he provides the same great service to other familys.

I drove over 9 hours to come to this dealership not only because they had the best price, but because they had the absolute best customer service. I never once felt like I was annoying them by asking 100000 questions. I first worked with Brian who was so kind and patient. I never felt pushed in any way to make a quick purchase like I have felt from other dealerships. When we arrived Saturday morning the vehicle was even better than what I was expecting. Josh helped us on site with the test drive and any further questions we had. He was very knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. He also was not pushy in any way. I lastly worked with Jayme in finance and he was great as well. He made sure to go over ever detail with me so that I felt comfortable and knew everything I needed to know before leaving. I’m telling you this dealership is the place to go and these people are the ones you want to work with! I am confident that my next purchase will be here no matter how far I have to drive.
My husband and I traded my Lexus in for a Pearl White with Light Gray interior 2021 Kia Sorento SX this past Tuesday and I couldnt be happier. We had previously went to a Kia dealership close by and made an appointment to look a blue Sorento that same day, but I just couldnt shake the feeling that it wasnt the SUV for me. My coworker recommended Hendrick Kia of Cary and Im so thankful she did.I browsed online and came across the Sorento I ended up purchasing. I texted and emailed with Madeline and she got the ball rolling.Long story short, I canceled my appointment with the other dealership that day and test drove the white Sorento on my lunch break. Jim Kildow made the process easy and took care of me. We ended up coming back after work to finish the paperwork. I believe his name is Matt, the gentleman who did our paperwork, was a hoot and made us laugh the whole time.They all made us feel like family while we were there and I highly recommend Hendrick Kia to everyone. Paolo at Kia, Hendrick Cary is probably a big reason why Im on my third vehicle from this dealership. Paolo has always made the process easy and smooth, from seeing/test driving to paperwork and delivery, as well as being there should I need anything post-purchase. This last transaction was so simple. I was in a new vehicle within a couple of hours.
Service Manager, Scott Tielemans, gave outstanding customer service when my Kia Sportage was in the shop for recall and maintenance work. He gave me the attention and information I needed and he took personal responsibility when issues arose. Most importantly, he was positive, decisive, and true to his promises. I would say he is a great example for others who deal directly with customers.The facilities are pleasant and attractive. The shuttle service is very helpful and on time.Since my service was for recall and maintenance work, there was no actual “problem” that was fixed. As far as I can tell, the shop did a good job.
This is by far the worst experience I have had with a dealership. I’ve had it in before for engine recall checks and no one knew where my car was for an entire day (was told I would be without for half a day and couldn’t get ahold of anyone) and now my car has something covered under an extended warranty and they can’t see my car until Sept 30. It is not running and I am shocked the only solution is to wait for them to be able to see it (over a month with no car?). Don’t waste your money on a KIA. I won’t ever again.
My experience was great! I dropped off my car at the service center and received text message updates and email about additional services. I like the on line process on accepting or declining additional work. My service manager was efficient and friendly. Left with a smile! Ivy was super helpful in our Telluride Kia purchase from build to buy and even after to make sure we had all we needed! She was super patient and walked me through all the tools our new car was equipped with! The car we ordered vs what came in had extras we didn’t order and they made it right by not up charging us. This is by far the worst service department I’ve ever worked with before. I have came to this dealer many times for oil changes and other various maintenance needs for my car and have had a consistently bad experience. My car was being serviced for an oil change and they recommended an alignment, I went ahead and paid $175 or so for my car’s alignment just to get in my car and find out they never even did the alignment. So I took my car back to the dealer, they fixed it for free of course. I later started feeling odd vibrations that had gotten worse over the last month. Long story short, I found that the dealer had never tightened the lug nuts on my front right wheel. In fact all of the lug nuts were loose to the point of being taken off by hand and my wheel was not flush at this point. The wheel was able to be removed from the car without even removing the lug nuts, which means my wheel was bound to come off at some point this week. To say I am disappointed is an understatement, this is an EXTREMELY hazardous mistake. Had I not noticed this, who knows if I would’ve lived to tell this story at the end of the week.

So I had a recall on my car and I wasn’t taking my car back to the Kia place in Durham. I looked at reviews because they’re important when you need service done to your car. I found Hendrick Kia of Cary I called and the lady that answered the phone was so delightful. She said they couldn’t get me in until October because it was so many recalls and I said that’s fine but luckily something came up sooner and they got me in there. I came in Scott Tielemans Service Manager at Kia checked me in and I was expecting a 2 hour wait so I came prepared with my charger. No need I didn’t even have to wait a good 40 mins before they called my name and said my car was done. Very nice salesman said that apparently there are no Telurides for sale or to test drive. You basically order one and put down a deposit, they come to the showroom in about 6 months and then you decide to purchase or not. Not even one to test-drive. Buy sight unseen. Strange times ....

Everyone was helpful and polite. No one tried to sell me anything I did not need. The waiting area was comfortable and spotless, not some grimy backroom. My car was done when they said it would be and there were no surprises. The service tech was very knowledgeable, informative and friendly. I would recommend everyone to ask for Robin - he was very good. My car runs great now!

Then, she goes above and beyond to find the perfect car and deal for me. If you work with Ivy, she will be there for whatever you need throughout the end of your lease. She will send you yearly birthday wishes and check in with you during routine maintenance visits. With my most recent purchase, Ivy found the new Kia Niro I wanted for the same payments and deposit I had for my previous lease. Ivy did all the beginning paperwork virtually. I brought my daughters kia in to get it checked out and make sure it was up to date on maintenance. The tech by the name of William discussed proper kia maintenance items and when to do them. He was very thorough and kind. He really wanted to make sure I fully understood and that I had no concerns before I left.
I was in a car accident in May this year and totaled my 2020 Subaru Ascent. It was an unfortunate timing because the market for buying cars right now is not so great. I needed to purchase another family vehicle that was safe and reliable because I have two little girls so safety was my 1st priority. While researching safest vehicles the Telluride caught my eyes because it had the highest safety rating so I knew that was the vehicle I wanted to get. When I began searching for available Tellurides and going to different Kia dealerships I was applauded by the outrageous markup, anywhere from 10-20k. Some dealerships getting me there’s an increase in transport taxes or COVID markup fee. I went to one Kia dealership in Jacksonville, FL that raved about having the most sold Tellurides on the East coast, most inventory and if they didn’t have what I wanted they would be able to build me one. My husband and I drove down to that dealership only to find out the Tellurides they have were already pre-sold and the 3 they had were marked up by $18k and they would not accept my order to build. This was when my friend gave me Ivy’s contact information and told me Hendrick’s would build me a Telluride. So, I just took a leap of faith and emailed her. Ivy emailed me immediately and said no problem, we’ll accept your order!Ivy Johnson, thank you so much for working with us! Thank you for the honest service you and Hendrick’s have provided. I was able to get my Telluride, with everything that I had asked for. When I got to the dealership there was no funny business, no hidden fees, no markups. Ivy and everyone there treated us like family not like we were another sale. I can not thank her enough, she truly is the best!

Buying a vehicle from this dealership was the best experience I have had buying a vehicle. Kironde was very polite, not pushy, and wanted to make sure we were getting a vehicle we wanted. The dealership also worked with me very well in regards to my trade-in vehicle. I will highly consider looking at this dealership or other Hendrick dealerships in the area for my future vehicle needs.
Josh Bateman was amazing and Greg was a huge help as well right from the start. Josh knew we were on a time crunch and made everything happen in a very reasonable amount of time. This is our 2nd time shopping with Hendrick Kia, but first time with the preowned side. Both experiences were stellar and we know we will be back.
