Waited around 10-15 minutes.A white man does a similar thing and is asked if he needs to be assisted almost within a minute.I didnt think the employees at best buy were negligent or discriminatory. But today honestly made me feel different, I wanted to ask about mounting options and stands for my new 75 tv but I guess I dont look the part.I would rate it a 1 star if it wasnt for another representative being so helpful at the appliance section
10/10 warehouse. Ordered some insignia cables and GE light bulbs and was pleasantly surprised when I saw how well packaged they were! Those warehouse guys really care about packing products well so they arrive undamaged. They even went above and beyond by slapping fragile stickers over the boxes so the delivery person is extra careful! Everything arrived undamaged, as expected from their superior packaging techniques.
Went here a few months ago with my fiancé to help him buy a new Apple laptop and we got the best service ever. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs to buy electronics and accessories for there electronics. They have great prices and customer service here and will always be going back to this location for more things.
Although everyone on the floor seems to be quite busy and not one associate offered to help me or even greeted me, the guy at the customer service desk was very helpful, honest, and knowledgeable. He was able to tell me exactly what I needed and also helped me find it online. I should have started there even though I didnt have a return.
Nick in the computer section was awesome! Explained everything I needed to know to make a confident purchase. I wanted a gaming laptop, and dont know very much about them. He knew all the specs to look for and explained them to me in simple terms to find an affordable and effective option

The reason why Amazon is doing well and these stores they will go out of business is because of there Mediocre customer service.We bought 2 Sonos Speaker from a store and we got one and second was supposed to be shipped when suddenly we discovered that the next best buy next town they have 13 of them in stock and it was a disaster to transfer the credit to that store and pick up and after 58 mins of the phone we cancelled the order and we are buying it from amazon Unfortunately to them
When having a refrigerator delivered, our hardwood floors were scuffed and scratched. The delivery men said we would receive communication from a company Best Buy contracts with to repair the floors. After 8 days, we had heard nothing, so I emailed Brittani, our salesperson and received no response. Now another week later, I called the store and was told Brittani would need to put an order in and would call me when she came in at noon. No call. I am now to the point I will need to make a visit to the store and hopefully talk with the manager. VERY disappointed with the lack of follow up customer service. Will think twice before making further purchases from this store!!
Went in to look for full frame dslr/mirrorless camera, Doug Hampton was absolutely wonderful, he not only took the time to explain the differences but was honest about the strengths and weaknesses of the various brands. His suggestions not only followed along with the professional opinions I had solicited from actual photographers but he helped me find the perfect camera for my application. I know BB employees are not on commission but I do hope management takes the time to recognize Doug for his efforts. He has earned it. When it is time for that next piece of glass(lens), I will get it from Doug. CD

Once you get redirected from the physical geek squad to any kind of phone or online or chat, it is a never ending tunnel of numbers that do not work, bad computer menus, agents that wont connect, numbers that will not be heard, emails that will not be entered properly, service numbers that are the wrong type of service number. Their customer care online is awful, a trainwreck. And it just so happens that the desk, although friendly, took down some of my info wrong, So was directed right into the trainwreck. I would pay NOT to have best buy protection on my product, this has been so painful. Do not buy their protection plans. Trainwreck.
MUST READ: DO NOT GO HERE. This is is the worst customer experience Ive ever had. Nightmare scenario. I bought a tv open box but it was in a box and they never showed me the condition of the tv before purchase. Took the tv home to realize it was unusable. Immediately went back to this store 30 minutes after purchasing and was told I was lying and that I did the damage in the 30 minutes since leaving the store. Now, 4 months later, I finally won my dispute with my bank and will not be paying for the broken tv this store sold me. I could not recommend against this store any more. I have had good experiences at other Best Buy stores but this one takes the cake for the worst customer experience I hope Ill ever have in my life. DO NOT GO HERE.
Our go to place for most any household or electronic item. Very knowledgeable staff. They will answer all my questions and explain things I may be foggy on. Have bought many items from Best Buy. They have many choices to choose from and prices are comparable to other places. I believe they price match as well. This particular store is well maintained. I would go here first even if its just to get educated on an item.

Certified & inspected means nothing. Just drove an hour to pick up a TV that was listed as Excellent, Inspected and Certified with all parts. Got home and it doesnt even have a remote. Ill return this one and order a new one from Walmart or Amazon.
Jeffery in the TV section was incredibly knowledgeable and honest. I appreciated how he helped us. When the stars align Best Buy can be very competitive with popular online retailers and after everything was said and done we saved money on a TV and sound setup.We will be back to this location.

So I arrived at 5:40 PM to go to the geek squad to get my iPhone repair waiting in line patiently I drove one and a half hours to get there and the guy looked at my phone wait a few minutes and says oh we don’t make repairs it for 6 PM after I sit there for 45 minutes for them to tell me that even though my appointment was at 5:40 and I travel for a living and really needed my phone fixed they did not take the time to go above and beyond to help a customer out
Gonna have to be a 1 star for me. I literally bought $6000 worth of computer stuff right at the end of December and had elite status which has a 30 day return policy. Went to go return something only to find out that my elite status only lasted less than a week because it’s for the calendar year, not a year within the purchases. They pretty much told me to kick rocks. Will never spend a dollar here again.
The guy that brought out our TV to our vehicle not only had an attitude, he pushed it into our vehicle so hard he ripped the rubber seal. When he realized that, he said something like “I’ll let you finish shoving it in” and walked away. That’s the last time we let anyone at this location help us put anything in our vehicle.

Best Buy locations don’t take calls anymore? Customer service lady says “all locations close at 7 pm” and yet the info here on google says 8.If I can’t walk in and buy something during the listed hours, they need to be changed. Otherwise, if this location actually closes at 8, someone needs to tell the only people answering your phones.

I scheduled a diagnostic appointment with the Cary Best Buy Geek Squad for my HP laptop. The battery was not holding a full charge and it indicated there was a problem when it powered up. At the appointment my wife and I were greeted by a friendly, professional young man that confirmed the problem after a short time and suggested the battery we should buy online. We made a return appointment for a few days later to have the battery installed. At that time I dropped off the laptop and it was ready in a few hours for pickup. The entire experience with the Geek Squad was professional and timely. I would definitely use them again if necessary in the future.

Although this Best Buy is smaller than other Best Buy stores in the RTP area, the staff are always very helpful and friendly when I browse around their store. Their store is organized, clean, and usually have items in stock that arent available elsewhere. They have a nice set up system for curbside pick up as well. In terms of service and organization, definitely place this BB on the top. If it was closer to my home, its be my go-to spot. But worth the drive, otherwise.

This Best Buy had by far the best customer service out of every Best Buy I have ever been in combined (and they all have good customer service). Every employee that walked by asked if we needed help. One employee even carried our stuff to the register and held it all for us so we could keep shopping. Another thing is this store had a larger selection of products than most other Best Buys I have visited too.

It was a specific USB C cord. Apparently there are three different sections for cables. Associate pulled it up via SKU.Star loss is due to difficulty of finding things and the surely cashier.

So, I purchased a dishwasher from Best Buy back in May 2020. When the guy came to install it, he said that it couldn’t be installed due to fit. That was fine. He said that in the matter of two days, I’d have my refund. Guess what? It’s almost August 2020. I’ve been on the phone with several people have several case numbers and have been promised a refund, but still have NOT gotten my refund. 12+ hours of my time wasted with multiple transfers and too many hang ups to count. Best Buy swears that they are a customer service forward company, well that’s clearly a lie. They don’t care about their customers and they swindle people. I’m out of $625 with no product to even justify the loss of money. And even though they are the only company that has the fridge that we want, my $1700 will be spent elsewhere. Horrible customer service and their supervisors don’t even want to speak to anyone on the phone.

Best customer service ever!! I went in for a computer for my son and was helped by Alec. He was very informative about the computers and helped us get the best student deal! This will make virtual learning a lot easier for my son with his new computer! I originally had went to the Best Buy in Durham where I didn’t have the best experience and was told the student deals were not going on (which wasn’t accurate) but decided to come to the one in Cary for my big purchase! They all were super helpful and Alec even helped my boyfriend apply for a Best Buy card to get the most out of our purchase! Wow, what terrible service! Accidentally ordered the wrong item here. Called to cancel, and was told that the order had been canceled. I received it anyway. Brought it straight in to return it, and was told that the person who said it was canceled had been lying. Then I was told that they couldnt return it yet because the delivery driver hadnt completed the paperwork yet. I said that didnt make sense since obviously they had the order and I had the product, but I can understand the technical defect they have preventing the return. At which point the customer service representative proceeds to talk down to me and explain that Im the one who is confused and of course they cant return an order because I technically dont have the product. It might be time to put someone with basic respect for customers behind the customer service counter.
Every time Ive been to this Best Buy (Im an Elite Plus member, if that says something) the experience has always been the same: amazing. The people are very helpful and easygoing, and they help you get in and out, quick and easy. Highly commend the service here.
If they had as many store representatives as they do geek squad you might be able to access electronics. But until then looks like amazon is the best bet.

Fantastic experience today! I was on the phone with Sprint the previous night for 2 hours and they couldnt get my new phone activated. I took it into Best Buy and they found an error with my new phone and account. They fixed everything and I left with a working phone. Seth was extremely helpful and even though I got the phone directly from Samsung he fixed everything very quickly and had a great attitude!

I went to the Best Buy in Cary. They have lines outside to get in due to Covid but the lines moved quickly. The key is to do your research/shopping online so you know what you want before you get there. The sales person that helped me was knowledgeable (able to answer my questions and quick to round up the items I was looking for). That being said, their online service falls short....I would have ordered online to begin with but my account wasnt accepting my password and when I tried to reset it, I never received an email with the code (after several attempts). I even tried to set up a new account but it said I already had an account using that email...but then they did send me an email to let me know I had tried to set up a new account, but still no reset code :( Frustrating!

What is it? A big box electronic store. What do I wish it to be? More focused on tech savvy individuals with wider variety, more knowledgeable staff who aware of evolving technologies. And with awareness of those technologies having a selection of those newer technologies. Eg the now, not the past 6 months.Dont get me wrong. For what they probably make an hour/ age and focus/dedication to job most have not been stupid - just not aware of new technologies arriving.

I tried to call about a computer part. On a Wednesday at 130p - called 3 different times and used their VRU options and not once could get a person to answer the phone. Not sure if this type of non responsiveness is indicative of poor Management at this facility or across all of Best Buy. Embarrassing...
