Had a slice of their freshly baked quiche. Very good customer service,good coffee.

Food was barely edible. I got a brownie with a drink and i ate my brownie against better judgment. It was overcooked and very crunchy. I got my drink about 15 minutes later ( people after me got their drinks first) and it was a frappe but still had large chunks of ice and with a straw smaller than a #2 pencil it made it very hard to drink it when ice clogged the straw with every sip.

Excellent coffee and environment! It reminds me of the coffee shops back East; a gathering of artists and friends and intellectuals.

Fun and cozy atmosphere. I love the laid-back vibe. The baristas were courteous and knowledgeable. The one who helped me gave me recommendations and answered any and all questions I had. I love the local vibe.

Good coffee, good desserts but a little on the sweet side. Wasnt too expensive, but to be honest I was expecting it to be a bit cheaper since its in Carthage and not a bigger city. Nice place to sit though, I would definitely go again to try something new.

Great little shop on the square in Carthage, MO. The service was superb with a smile. Even though it was busy due to a car show on the square there was no wait. Production of drinks and eats was flawless and there was plenty of seating for all. I had been to another shop in Joplin this particular morning and it was ok but I decided to make the drive to Mother Road just to check it out. I love great local shops like this and it was a GEM! I wished I had started here first. Loved the pastry case and all the wares displayed. I was only up for an americano but it was made very well and the quality of beans was excellent. I spent about an hour writing and using WiFi planning the next leg of my trip. I look forward to returning here in the near future. Give it a try if you’re in the area or take the drive if you’re not! You won’t be disappointed.

I was extremely disappointed getting coffee this morning by not only the service but also the coffee. The girl who took our order was extremely rude and looked like she just rolled out of bed even though it was after 10 am. We ordered 3 drinks and there was something wrong with each of them. Very disappointed.

I absolutely love this little coffee shop/botique bundle. Along with getting to move to one of the coolest cities around, Im also blessed to work at this amazing little local slice of paradise. Even if I wasnt an employee, I would still be a loyal customer. Great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, amazing owners, managers, staff, extremely talented Baristas in drink making AND in beautiful Latte Art, and lets not forget the absolute BEST freaggin coffee in town! I popped in for a Frappuccino and also left with german chocolate bars from their bakery selections, which all looked good. Gappy with my choices.

The wrap was suppose to be chicken, bacon, avocado, on a tomato basil wrap,, it had the wrong wrap, no bacon, two little slices of avocado, and a load of very DRY chicken, no flavor at all. Definitely wont be back.

Great coffee shop. Driving through and needed a place to stop for some coffee in the morning. Located in a beautiful Town square, and filled with very generous people. My wife had one of the best cups in her life.. so its sure to be good. They have wonderful brownies and muffins too. If I come through again, Ill be sure to stop in.

We were just passing through and were in need of some coffee. It was a cool setting in the middle of a traditional downtown square. We enjoyed the mother road mocha and latte and the kiddos loved the pastries, everything from banana bread with orange glaze,b to muffins, to peaches and cream pastries. I would highly recommend it!

Such a treat every time I stop in. The coffee is fresh and custom blended by the best baristas! I love the lemon bars and almond cake!

Mother Road offers a great selection of coffees and teas. They have great Maple and Pecan bars as well as Raspberry turnovers. They have great hot chocolate and the atmosphere is warm and inviting with plenty of seating for larger parties. Definitely a local gem.

Very pleasant and delicious locally-owned coffee shop. I always get the Motherroad Mocha which is their special blend. It is super yum! Their pastries are delicious. Everyone is friendly and the drinks are made quickly and accurately. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. It would be appropriate for a small business meeting or a gathering of friends or a quiet date.

Friendly, fast service, with an amazing view of the courthouse. The Mother Road Mocha is one of the very best mochas in the country. Not sure what the secret is, but it tastes like no other! If you are anywhere close, or even if its a bit of a drive, dont miss out on an opportunity to treat your taste buds to a little taste of heaven!

I go there quite often. The staff is always very courteous and fast. They always make my drinks exactly as a specify. I love the atmosphere.

This is the place to sit and visit with an excellent cup of coffee or tea and a good friend - or several. Go on Friday and order the pizza - that will make it impossible to pick up a drive thru pie anywhere else. They are truly delicious.

Yum! This was downtown and I visited on a weekday, first day of school no less. Staff was pleasant, and answered all my questions. I was in and out quickly with coffee made exactly as I requested. :) Also, they sell the best, most moist and delicious chocolatey brownies Ive ever had.

Wonderful Little Place on the square to stop and grab a cup of coffee, It is delicious! Staff Is friendly and very patient with people who are coffee illiterate (me). Pastries are delicious and pair great with their selection of roasts.The only reason they loose a star is because the prices are so high. I got a medium latte with hazelnut and a brownie and it cost me 8 dollars. For a meal that isnt bad, but for a snack to munch on while you read your book or do some work, that is about 3 dollars more than I want to pay.Other than the high price it is a fantastic, cozy and unique place to have in Carthage.

Good variety of coffee drinks both hot and cold. Friendly staff generally and nice atmosphere. It can get crowded and seating is kinda limited...hours are abbreviated so check before you go.

Not a coffee drinker. Like my cappuccinos from any gas station I go to though. Never been to a coffee place. I didnt know what to get, so I Ordered a cappuccino. The guy didnt offer a flavor, worst drink of my life. A plain cappuccino ew. Could have offered some flavor and Im sure I would have been ok. The place was cute, a little cold for the weather though. And you Better know exactly what you want if you visit here. No suggestive selling for your benefit nor the businesss.
