I took my 16 year old sons car here for its initial inspection. Ive been here before and my experiences were good. Ive been going to Firestone since 1995, through my entire military career for 20+ years, and this is the worst person Ive dealt with. I drive 37 miles just to go to this store but Im now looking for a new place. The woman that works up front (Michelle), is horrible. I told her I needed the inspection but I would be doing what ever work that is required, myself. She very rudely said then why dont you inspect it yourself too? There were other customers sitting there and one gentleman just looked at me and shook his head. I told her I dont have a car lift in my garage to do the inspection and thats why I bring all 6 of my cars to that facility, or used to. The guts in the shop did a great job on the inspection and let me know of the issues I had to take care of. If it werent for the guys out doing the actual work, this place would go out of business. This is the second time I have dealt with her being rude and other customers had complained too. The guys out in the shop werent too fond of her and understood completely when I addressed the situation with them. Come on Firestone, you can do better than this.

Had a appointment for 3. After waiting and an hour and a half and asking how much longer, they finally pulled my car in. Then told me it would be 1 1/2 hours for an oil change and an alignment. I went to another Firestone the week before and they wouldnt take me without an appointment. I understand why now. I wish this Firestone took into consideration peoples time. I was also not the only one this had happened to. I drive 40 miles to come here but not again.

Brought my 07 2500 in for 4 new tires with out an appointment after nearly having a blow out on a front tire. Was told no available appointments till 4 days later but they’d see what they could do. Received a call later that afternoon with confirmation that they would have vehicles tires replaced by end of day! They realigned my vehicle multiple times to try and dial in the steering as good as possible. The truck feels better than when I purchased it. Extremely happy with my service and all staff I encountered was friendly and professional and all the staff went out of their way that day to get my vehicle back on the road so I could make it back home to Woodstock. I can’t thank Josh and the other staff enough for getting my vehicle fixed and performing amazingly. They even called when it came to mount the new tires and expressed concern when mounting that some very minor damages (scuffs) may happen on the rims and wanted to verify with me that I understood the procedure and gave permission to complete the job. Would recommend anyone needing services to go there and will surely go back my self in the future!

Showed up at 8 am for an appointment only to find out that the appointment was not on the schedule. The lady did not even apologize for the inconvenience and said shed fit me in when they could. I was going to be waiting for the service. Plus I had paid for the alignment package so they already had my money and werent going to be making any extra. It was very poor customer service.

I went to Firestone for a simple procedure. I drove my 2009 MDX in. FOUR hours later, I had to get it towed to the dealership at 6:00 at night! Firestone had messed up the wiring harness. After going up the corporate ladder they finally took some responsibility and paid a little over half of the bill. I will never go to cartersville firestone again!

*UPDATE - Was pressured into new rotors on all 4 wheels - after Firestone worked on my car, it would no longer stop correctly with a hard brake at high speed. Steering wheel was shaking so badly and the brake pedal had very pronounced bounce or skipping not making contact.Called and spoke to Michelle - absolutely the rudest human being alive and could care less if I or my kids had died as a result of having to pull towards the median wall to avoid hitting the car in front of me. She told me to call the 800 Firestone #. I did, they wanted to tow the car back in to let them assess what the problem was. No thanks - dont trust you guys anymore! Ended up taking it to a local mechanic with over 30 years experience who showed me the front rotors were never replaced. Firestone had put new pads on my old rotors yet charged me for new rotors. The rotors were so warped. A bolt holding the caliper wasnt even tight and was able to be removed with a few twists of the hand. I will be suing to get the money back where Firestone lied about work/parts they supposedly provided. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!Made appointment for oil change and brake inspection. I use Firestone exclusively for service and tires. Just moved to Cartersville and first time at this location. Was told I needed rotors on both front and back they were so bad they couldn’t be turned. Really? I just put new tires on and all this time no-one ever said anything? I smell a rat. Somebody is lying or incompetent. When I tried to clarify the process, Trey was very condescending and rude. 4 hours and $1100 later…. Won’t be back.

Great service. Nice, friendly employees. I was in and out in about 30 minutes (Oil Change)....which was great considering the lobby was full when I walked in, I didnt have an appointment and the line was pretty steady the entire time I was there. They did find issues with another part on my car and made repair suggestions but wasnt being pushy or pressuring me to spend more money. I appreciate that. Thanks everyone at Firestone!

My experience there this morning was better then any tire store I have been too! Very well mannered staff and hardly a wait! I was there for maybe, 25 min and I barley touched my phone to kill time! I watched them and how well mannered they were to all customers, and how polite they were and fast they were to help everyone in there! Definitely will be using them from now on!! Great service! Horrible experience had new tires installed. They refused to install my new TPMS sensors. Waste of money. Had to bring to another shop to dismount tires install TPMS rebalence tires. Will not be back. Also had alignment done steering wheel is no longer in center. Sad shop.

From out of town and had tire issues I stopped into the Firestone spoke with Michelle she gets my car into shopping in nice timing she then tells me I need a tire I say no problem put it on once they finished my car I paid walked outside and notice they put wrong tire size on my car o then tell Michelle about the mistake she then tells me it’s just a tire and if wanted to get correct size it would be an extra 85 dollars. Ew motor needed $7211I took my car to the Cartersville Firestone on 02/07 for an oil change and waited all day mainly because I didn’t have an appointment. On 2/19 a message appeared in my dash advising it is time for an oil change. I called Jeremy on 2/19 around late 5 ish and advised that the message popped up and he said it is fine and that the technician probably forgot to reset the reminder and to bring it in when you can and they would reset it. On 2/21 when driving home from work in the late evening I started hear a loud roaring knocking noise from the engine that sound like there was no oil in the car. So first thing Monday morning at 7am I took it back to Firestone to see what was going on ... Jeremy LIED AS WELL AS THE TECHNICIAN THAT WORKED ON THE CAR and said that it had oil and had it on the lift so I can see it didn’t have a leak and said that it is an engine problem and that they do not work on engines and said i needed to take it to a mechanic that works on engines. I took it home and on the way home the oil light came on and the engine light came on few minutes after that I made an appointment with the Dodge Dealer and they did a full diagnosis that I paid $130 for and they found metal shavings in the oil which comes from an improper oil change. To which you can find that information on line as well if you google metal shavings in oil. So now I need a new motor which is costing $7211. Firestone did an improper oil change because they have incompetent mechanics and management working there and now they are going to have to fix this because they knew when they let me go and sent me to a engine mechanic that they had messed up and said nothing. Risking the chance of my engine locking up and a risk of accident had I been on the highway or anywhere and the car suddenly stops. I am seeking full reimbursement for all charges and replacement of my motor on Firestone and no one has yet to call me back !!! I am missing work and money for their negligence. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYWORK AND DEFINITELY NOT AN OIL CHANGE. THEY NEED TO CLOSE THIS LOCATION OR GET BETTER TECHNICIANS AND STAFF.

People at the front desk are rude. Had to get tires on my wife’s car and my car this weekend. Made a appointment at Discount Tire for my wife’s car at 2 pm on Friday. Arrived at around 1:45 and we were done and out by 2:10. The job the did was great. For my vehicle I made a 2 pm appointment with Firestone on Saturday ... 2 hours later were still waiting not to mention they have way less customers here than Discount did. My truck wasn’t put on the rack until 2:30. Not much point in even making a appointment...

My husband and I took a friend to the airport and on the way back our front driver tire completely shredded on the interstate. The only place we could get a tow to was firestone. We had no money to get a new tire and the most amazing gentleman at this firestone bought my husband and I a new tire for us. Employees and customers are the best ive ever encountered. Horrible experience, had brakes put on, took my car back several times and was told nothing was wrong the brakes were fine. I finally got scared enough to go somewhere else, turns out I desperately needed new brakes. Brakes should not need to be replaced in 7 months. When I told the manager, he never apologized, nothing. Just said theres nothing he could do cause the brakes were no longer on my car. I will NEVER again just any Firestone to touch my car

I called ahead to check wait times, was told it was really quiet. Just needed an oil change. Got there, and it was clear that that was NOT true, as there was a waiting room full of people that clearly had been there awhile. There were not open bays or available service technicians for some time. I waited almost two hours and finally said something. Its just an oil change people....not a front end. Anyway, they were very polite but it took WAY too long.

Went to get my tire patched because it had a nail in it for them to say it couldn’t be patched even tho i’ve had multiple people said it could be so i ended up getting a new tire & the only one they had was $150. To me i feel like they were just trying to get money out of me.

Pam and the rest of the staff were very nice and very helpful. Had to have my front brakes replaced, and they performed the service in a very timely manner. They had me out of there in two hours. My car drives better than when bought it. Would definitely recommend using them.

This review is service related.I came to Firestone a week or so ago for an alignment. I had called ahead for pricing and theirs was very fair. They were very busy but since it was close to some eateries and retail areas we left our car in their care and went off exploring. For the amount of customers they had waiting they did extremely well at getting our cars alignment taken care of in a timely manner.Michelle at the front desk was very kind and went through our inspection from the technician Jason. They didnt tell us anything about our car that we didnt already know but the gesture was kind and thorough.

I wish I could actually comment on the quality of their work but unfortunately I cannot. I placed a request for an appointment online. The email I received advised I would receive a confirmation email or a call to advise if the appointment could not be scheduled. I was requesting tomorrow and did not receive either so I called a little after 5:00PM. Michelle lacked empathy and just told me they have no availabilities for tomorrow. This is understandable since its the weekend. However, she did not offer up any other appointment options or solutions. She asked for my tire size after I asked probing questions about a different day for an appointment. I asked if they got my online request. She confirmed they did, but the request does not include my tire size. She did advise if I could call back with this information she could she if they have the correct tires in stock. Im giving 1 star since the online form is useless and they did not call me to ask about my request when it did not have tire size or to advise they did not have the time I was requesting. Also Michelle needs to work on her customer service and her ability to be empathetic to the customer. I will not be doing business with this company.

My sister brought her car here for a repair unrelated to her radio. When she picked up her car, one of the radio buttons was shattered and had fallen off entirely, and her volume button was chipped, like someone hit the radio with something. Also, her purse and items were moved from where she left them. She brought the car back to show them and the manager just mumbled about 15 times that they dont have any reason to touch the radio so it couldnt have been them. Guess her radio broke itself? I certainly wont be coming here anytime soon after hearing the manager deny any blame with the confidence of a teenager.

Wow. Twisted my inner tire rid boot to hell and back. Basically adjusted it without loosening the boot. This is done through either intent or neglect. The fact you must get down on the hot pavement and check their work on a simple life time alignment job is pretty disconcerting. I will be following up with corporate and a lawyer if permanent damage was done. I have photos and will be posting them asap.

Used to love this place. Used them for every auto need I had: Tires, oil, random small problems like A/C dash function issues.... Im Never going back.My wifes Saturn was acting up (no acceleration, rough idle) and after changing spark plugs and putting in Fuel Injector Cleaner, the problem persisted. These guys took the car in and claimed there was no problem. They couldnt recreate the issue. So, after paying for their diagnostic services, I go out to the car, turned the key and guess what: the same problems magically appeared that they, just a few minutes before claimed they couldnt recreate. So I walked back in and they said We arent going to fix it. and gave me a refund. They might as well have given me the finger.Dont go here. They dont care about you, your problems, or even making money, apparently.

On Sunday, December 23rd, our family was driving from Minnesota to Florida for vacation. As we approached Atlanta, our dashboard signaled a loss in tire pressure. We googled and drove straight to the Firestone shop located in Cartersville, Georgia. They quickly found that our aluminum tire rim was cracked and it would not be fixed until December 26 due to the holiday. By then it as after 5pm and your Firestone employee, Michelle Moore, was calmly waiting for us to leave the waiting area so she could close the store. We were at our wits end. We desperately asked Michelle for a ride to the Atlanta airport so we could rent a car. Michelle graciously said yes! She cleared out her trunk and we loaded it with our 6 carry on suitcases. She calmed us down and she drove us 60 miles (almost 2 hours) to the Atlanta airport. Thanks to Michelle Moore for going far beyond her job description to help out her Firestone customers! She saved our family vacation! After all is said and done, Firestone’s best assets are it’s employees, and you have a one of your best Firestone employees, Michelle Moore, in Cartersville, Georgia. We brought our sons car in for “repairs” suggested by Firestone. While doing these repairs they damaged the manifold and would not own up to the damage. It resulted in an additional $900.00 cost at a muffler shop. They only need to be doing tires and oil.

This place is a RIP OFF. I took one car there about a year ago, to get the fluids checked before a long trip with children to the beach. I broke down on the highway and car overheated. Because it is located near my husbands workplace, he took his truck there so he could leave it while he was at work. It had either a knot on a tire or needed new tires...we werent sure...but if felt unsafe on the road...felt like the front tire had a knot....bumped in rhythm to the cars speed, and pulled in direction of that tire.....which is why he took it to tire people...who are supposed to be experts. After being at work all day he walks the 2 miles to the tire place and they havent even looked at it yet. Then they tell him all it needed was alignment fixed. Of course...he gets back on the road and the problem is still there if not worse. So again...takes it and waits for hours for them to tell him it actually just needs new tires. He drove home and the next day blew a tire on the highway and had to have it towed there...the closest place, where he planned to buy tires soon anyways....so they replaced the tires but never refunded him for the unnecessary alignment job. That was $80 for the alignment...there was no problem with the alignment...we just wanted them to tell us if we needed new tires. I dont think they ever looked at the tires until it had been taken BACK. They should refund us for the complete waste of 3 days waiting on the vehicle. All it needed was new tires. That should have taken no more than a few hours.

I went there to get an alignment and they told me I had to fix my struts so I did. Then they told me that I had to fix my control arms or else they couldnt do an alignment in a year before they said my tie rods were bad so they wouldnt give me my free alignment with a set of 4 tires I find it strange after a whole year they tell me my tie rods are fine now all in which they wanted over $2,000 worth of work which I put in myself 4 under 400 and I replace the tie rod ends because I know they would have said that they were bad the next time I get an alignment. They just are overpriced, kind of dishonest, but good at pointing out what is wrong with your car.

Guess they bank on people being too busy to sue or pursue justice. Blew my moms engine from an oil change. How do I know?......she drove the car for years before this particular oil change. I was driving from TN to FL to officiate a wedding and had car troubles in GA. Stayed the night at a Walmart till this Firestone opened.I found the error code for the car problem through my Verizon Hum. The technicians are great...if you can get by Michelle at the front. Shes about as helpful as a little toe growing out of your forehead. On multiple occasions Ive tried to get seen only to be given the run around as to how long it might be before I can get in. Her answer to every attempt to get an estimate - 20 minutes, 2 hours, 4 hours, just something - yields an I dont know sir, I cant predict how long things will take. Im not looking for Nostradamus, Im just trying to maximize the use of my time. Im tired of trying this place. Like I said, this has happened multiple times. Im over it.

I had a complete brake job done May 9, 2014 shortly after 5pm (they close at 7p) on my 2003 Infinity I-35 with 90,900 miles. They checked my brakes and let me know that rotors will also need replacing (I expected that) and may be able to have done by 7pm. I explained I could leave the car overnight and pick-up Saturday before closing time of 6pm. They were fine with that and called me on Saturday when the car was ready. The quoted cost was $536+ with my $99 per axle coupon which saved me almost $100. I was very pleased not to get a call saying, we found something else.... The people are very nice, knowledgeable and professional, and their brake service work was excellent. I am very satisfied and recommend the Cartersville Firestone Auto Care location for your brake service. (ry5-12-14)

Made a tire selection online, and an appt to have them installed. I arrived on time, and they got right to it in a very timely manner. I messed up and ordered the wrong tire size. Pam and the rest of the crew went above and beyond to rectify MY mistake. She immediately sent a crew member to the Acworth store to get the RIGHT size tires that the Acworth store had in stock. Even with the error, they still got me out of there in just over two hours !! To say the least, Im VERY satisfied with them, and will be going back there whenever I need any type of service. Also, I was impressed with the overall appearance of the store / shop ! It was neat, clean, and well lit, and the entire crew looked and acted professional, and acted like they cared. (which is a lot more than I can say about one of their competitors, Meinekes shop is a DUMP !! in comparison !!)
