Went into the store feeling down and left with a smile!!! Best hair store experience I ever had!!! Great customer CARE and service. Bought a couple of lace fronts and they even cut the lace for me for an extra fee and put it on for me. Can buy a wig and get it installed too for a fee!!! I love it here!!!

First... They are black owned... Lets start there... Also... There is a plethora of hair and hair care items for you to choose from but the store is not cluttered... Very organized and neat... The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable... I will definitely be shopping here for my hair care needs for my clients and myself... Thank you Textured Tech!!!

I had wanted the Janet Collection faux locs for my next protective style but couldnt find anywhere in the UK that had them in the 24 length so I took a gamble and placed an international order. Initially I was quite skeptical about placing an order here because I wasnt sure if it was legit but thankfully I was 100% wrong and I have my faux locs here with me in the UK! Communication was excellent all the way up until delivery and I had no problems whatsoever - I highly recommend this place if you were unsure like I initially was!!

Had exactly what I needed so that is always a plus, and the staff was very friendly. I also appreciated the COVID measures and the few things nearby to keep people prepared. It seems to be a well stocked store with a lot of variety and hair tailored to the newest styles. I loved seeing different lengths of hair, etc. Some things were a bit hard to find because the store is organized in an interesting way but it does house a lot of products in such a small space. Hopefully they get more shampoo and conditioner options, but I enjoyed my first experience.I came out with what I intended to.

I saw this company on TikTok and when I walked in the owner greeted me which I thought was a huge plus. Very warm friendly family atmosphere great vibes ❤️

If youre looking for a place with knowledgeable and friendly staff Textured Tech is the place to visit. I recently went to the Shop to look for items that were nearly impossible to find and they had them in stock. On another occasion I inquired about a leave in conditioner and the next time I visited they had it in stock. When I am in a pinch and cant get to the shop on time they also have online ordering which has been a life saver during this quarantine. The owner is amazing and I can never see myself shopping anywhere else.

💎💎💎This store is a true GEM 💎💎💎I happened upon this store because I was attending an event in the same shopping plaza. I am natural with long hair and curls I have no idea how to define or manage. When I shared this with the attendant, he informed me they have a curl specialist on Wednesday mornings who will help me on my journey.I was so happy they had the products I was initially looking for (Eden). The sales attendant was so sweet and he walked me through and showed me another product (Ouidad) I might want. I purchased the additional product on the spot. The store is clean and beautifully arranged. ALWAYS happy to support black owned and operated.

One of the few black owned beauty supplies in the Carson,Ca area. I drive from Long Beach which isnt far but its also not close. Theyve never not had what I was looking for. The staff is always nice and helpful no one is following me around the store. I will be back.

Yassssss! This beauty supply is wonderful! So well stocked I can find things that Ive never been able to see except for online. This is definitely the best beauty supply I have been to in carson, long beach, and Compton and the prices are great. The woman who helped me was so attentive without being aggressive or following you around the store which I hate at some other stores. She was very sweet when helping me and said if they dont have it they can order it.

I am pleasantly surprised. I went there to buy event tix & expected to see a small mom & pop operation. Dont get me wrong, I love mom & pop operations. But when I comes to my hair care I want to know the black owned spots carry things with me in mind.In addition to the place being well lit I found an array of items without clutter. There were products Ive only seen in Sallys or online. I found a greater selection of brands I usu get from Target. Brands I usuonly find in Santa Monica (why do black ppl have to go to SM for quality hair care products anyway? But I digress)I FOUND TRAVEL SIZE OF MULTIPLE HAIR CARE PRODUCTS. Im so tired of transferring products into mini containers & having to remember whats in what.This store rivals & dare I say surpass any Sallys Ive ever been in. Its by far greater than the corner beauty supply.Im so happy a black business owner is able to open a shop offering me everything I need from the start. & at reasonable prices. I didnt pull up websites for cost comparison but I didnt have sticker shock so the prices are in line with what I usually spend. Making this my new go to beauty supply.
