Person who gave us an estimate was very knowledgeable

Spring of 2013 we contracted Great Basin to cover our patio in the white covered Aluminum product. We ordered this product probably during their rush time of business and we had a time restraint due to family coming to town. While we did go over the agreed upon time starting the job, and it got closer than we would have liked, they met the agreement upon finishing the job. As far as the product goes and the workmanship, this has far surpassed our expectations. This was a large patio and it was completely covered. There are no flaws at all in this job that we have been able to detect-- the workmanship is superior. For months we have been enjoying it and keep commenting on how pleased we are with its appearance. It is like a new large room added to our house. The workers were professional and left no sign of mess or intrusion into the house for any reason. As far as the price, we shopped around quite a bit and had 3-4 people come out and bid--Great Basin was the most competitive and worked with our requests. Dont hesitate...this is a great company and we only regret not having done it years ago!

These guys installed a patio shade at my home but failed to complete the permit process with the county planning commission. When I was notified by the county I called them to ask them to finish the job. After nicely agreeing to make the situation right they never took any meaningful action to resolve the matter and stopped retuning my calls.Ill be meeting with them in small claims court soon to collect for the unfinished work and will likely be forced to contract with another vendor to complete the permit process.
