Staff are kind, knowledgeable and running as fast as they can. I am a retired RN/Educator ( 40 years in various positions) and the pharmacy technician that gave me my shot deserves 5 stars!!!!!! She was excellent and was multitasking all the time. But the store is filthy and I can’t believe I am receiving healthcare in this environment in the USA. I just kept hoping I didn’t pick something up off the filthy environment. That is the store managers failure. Masks on at least 3 employees were constantly sitting under their nose or on their chin. I never saw hand gel before or after glove use. For all I know the same pair were worn for multiple clients. I was there for an hour as where most, waiting for my shot for which I had an appointment. Packing in the appointments is a corporate decision made by someone who obviously has no real world experience and this store is not setup for the capacity it is receiving. People were packed in. There was no 6 ft. Spacing for health or healthcare privacy. I worked for public health and did many vaccination clinics. Walgreens should have this process streamlined by now. This isn’t staffs fault. Please if you do anything at all, get a cleaning crew in. This is a pharmacy not a machine shop!
Choose elsewhere. With my daughters prescription, it always comes in two bottles. We showed up a day later than the promised pick up time to pick up the medication since there was no call or notification from this place at all. The clerk rung us up, & the given envelope contained only one bottle. I then asked why, & their response was: We run out of stock. We told them that we can come back later to have the must & usual two bottles, since well be going out of town in the next few days, and were not sure if well back next month. The dr there refused to do it. She literally MADE us to come back the following month to pick up the second bottle, which we werent able to. Weve been going there for years, but were going elsewhere from now on. Their level of customer service & professionalism went down the drain. Its not like customers dont have options.
This is the worst customer service I ever experienced. My script isn’t ready for a day. I tried to call and they kept hanging up on me. I go over there and they are helping someone get vitamins for 20 minutes instead of helping the rest of the customers waiting. Than the girl who has her uniform too tight cutting off circulation proceeded to give me an attitude because it was their lunch time. Maybe don’t offer a service if that’s not what you do here. So I transferred to cvs and my script was ready within the hour even tho it’s a longer drive I would not deal with the scum of Walgreens
The ladies at the pharmacy are so kind and friendly. Even with them being short staffed they make each customer feel special by the attention they provide. Thank you ladies
This Walgreens is my closest option to fill prescriptions (I have to use Walgreens). Given its a 45-drive, Ive been attempting to call and confirm a few things. The staff will NOT pick up the phone. This is my fifth attempt over the course of the last month - been on hold twenty-five minutes this time. Staff picks up and, without even talking, immediately puts me right back on hold. Awful customer service.
Unfortunately, I am still waiting for assistance on the phone for lost prescription, for over 20 minutes. I heard the line wait is longer. Rude when they did answer. So sad, does not need to be like this, especially if dealing with peoples medical issues. I understand the low rating now. They need prayers for compassion.
The Carson City location is the only Walgreens within a hundred miles that actually cared about helping us navigate confusing pre-travel COVID testing. I am so thankful for the pharmacists who helped me understand that I needed a test, even though I’m fully vaccinated. They saved my Hawaiian vacation! Mahalo Carson City Walgreens!
This one lady who worked there (I think she was African American or Mexican) said my 5 year old son was looking “Subbissive and Breedable”she then starting flirting with my 5 year old son.TERRIBLE EMPLOYEES
This one lady was being rude when all I did was try to get something. She cussed me out and held up the line.
Told me the wait for my medicine at 8:15 p.m. with no other customers waiting....they try to tell me my wait time is 1.5 hours, which is right before they close. NOBODY else is here....why is the wait 1.5 hours???
Terrible pharmacy, always having to be put on hold for 20+ mins and when they answer, there horribly rude!
Told the lady in the pharmacy today I didnt want a generic vision of my prescription and she was rude straight the way. She said your doctor said you can have this one as well as the other. I told her again I didnt want that and it actually costs me more and she printed off a document from my doctor and said you can have this and dont talk over me when I actually wasnt even talking. Let her know I will no longer be using this store and she smiled and said have a great day. What disgusting service just rude. She was also pulling faces and being rude to another customer on the phone before I even tried talking to her about my issue with them. Lost my business today for sure. Wont get another dime from me nor my family.
Horrible place take 30 minutes just to get on the phone with someone then get put on hold bunch of lazy people
I should have looked at the reviews before I had my sons diabetic prescriptions sent to this pharmacy. Everything in the past reviews is still happening. Theyre extremely rude and they lie about not getting prescriptions. I went twice to them physically asking if the RXs were ready and both times two different women told me they never received anything. The first women was eating cheetos and drinking while she was looking up our info... she was more concerned about shoving those cheetos in her face than helping me. The second time was a week later and the provider told me they made sure they got it by calling to confirm. I went there to pick up multiple medications for different family members to get it all done at once. The pharmacy tech who helped me was the rudest of them... now my provider called to confirm the script was received and they confirmed with the provider but I get to the counter two days later and shes telling me they have nothing on file for my son. I asked her to use my sons date of birth because sometimes people misspell our name and I watched her type the wrong date of birth! I repeated it because I told her I saw she mistyped it and she looked me dead in the eye and said nothings on file. I called the pharmacy the next day because we need his medicine and the guy who answered was rude as well, he huffed when I asked questions and confirmed that some of the meds I needed were received but not all of them so I told him about the provider, this person talked over me and said look you can come pick up what we have or not thats up to you then put me on hold without saying anything. I hung up and called our providers to have our medications transferred to another pharmacy. Bottom line is they lied about not receiving medicine that my son needs in order to live. Its unacceptable and to see these older women in their 50s and up acting so immature, people could literally die if they dont get their medicine and you act like that...if you dont like your job maybe you should find another one where somebodys life isnt in your hands. This is extremely serious and I hope Walgreens sees this and makes the necessary changes to improve their pharmacy at this location.
The employees there are friendly & helpful.
Very fast when using pick up option, my order was ready within the hour I drove up, they came out and I was gone!
The pharmacy staff couldnt be any more rude. They couldnt tell me how long it would take them to tell my prescription even though I was driving 30 min to get there, they said they couldnt guarantee it would be ready today. Then I said no problem, then Ill get it somewhere else, and they said I couldnt get anywhere else because she was already processing it, said thank you and hung up on me.
We were fourth in line at RX drive up, waited 30 minutes got to the drive up window and were told they were going to lunch. Their were three cars behind us and they were out of luck too. We return 45 mins later and again were fourth in line waited another 45 minutes for them to process the three cars in front of us. Something is wrong when it takes that long too service three cars for a prescription pick up. Poor management mighty be the reason.
I should have known better than to have used this Walgreens. Went for a flu shot. Had an appointment but that was useless. The one women who first helped us had to also deal with drive up window as well as answering the phone. One of the other three employee could have helped out. Then the women who finished with the paper work was very rude to my wife. Dont know who she was but she wore a Disney face covering. Never will I use this store again.
After spending 20 minutes on hold, the pharmacy hung up on me.
Was on hold for 35 minutes. Just wanted to let them know my doctor was faxing an early refill for a prescription I need before leaving on my trip. She was rude and didn’t let me explain anything and then hung up on me. I switched pharmacies today. Their constant mistakes have brought me to my boiling point.
Tanya provided us with unbelievable support. My husbands prescription from our home in Florida ran out. I was jumping through hoops to try and get it refilled here when she took the bull by the horns and got approval from our insurance company to do a three-month supply here in Carson City to hold us while were here on vacation. Thank you to this kind pharmacist. Shes an asset to your corporation she was speedy and professional and we graciously ask that you provide her with accommodation for her above-average customer service.
Dropped off prescription asking for it to be expedited as its medical necessity to have daily. Im told two hours which is the longest Ive ever been told for someone whos waiting. 3 hours later Im told its still not ready, hasnt even been started there busy and the best part Im told is its against company policy to give a time frame? Even though this is the exact person who gave me a 2 hour time frame 3 hours ago! 5 hours later I just went and took my prescription back and had it filled at Smiths in 30 minutes. This pharmacist and pharmacy are incompetent and dishonest group. Stay clear.
I can’t believe the lack of professionalism in the pharmacy. I called on the phone for a prescription and the man who i spoke to said ‘We will try to get it ready today. We’re going to lunch at 1:30.’ No worries, just a very important prescription i’m trying to fill here. Guess i’ll have to find another pharmacy.
The pharmacy provided me with the worst customer service. I shouldn’t have to ask for help. The service they provide is a necessity to all of us at some point. You would think they would have a better system and some people who actually care. Their wait times are ridiculous and they treat people terribly. I am seriously considering switching pharmacies after this incident. People come here when they don’t feel well. All we want is to get our medicine, go home, and get some rest. But with this awful service it takes almost an hour just to get a simple prescription. Absolutely ridiculous. They need some more help and better staff because this just isn’t normal.
Man are they rude. If you have other options I would definitely recommended using a different pharmacy.
Absolutely the worst customer service from the pharmacy Ive ever experienced in my life. Every time I tried to ask a question I was interrupted rudely and talked over and I felt belittled and demeaned. I will never ever use this Pharmacy again and I will never ever recommend it to anybody. On top of that the pharmacy would not answer their phone and while I was being given very poor customer service I witnessed their phone ringing and them pushing the button to disconnect. Horrible place.
I have had multiple serious problems with the pharmacy. I truly believe they are very understaffed and people need to call corporate and complain so they can get help. The workers are rude and don’t follow through and then process rx incorrectly. It has appeared very intentional on numerous occasions. Very sad situation there.
Probably one of the worst walgrren pharmacies Ive ever had the opportunity to get involved with. Counter service is terrible, constant errors and very long waits at both the drive thru and counter. Staff is rude and dismissive. Do yourself a favor and find a different pharmacy.
I’m visiting Lake Tahoe and needed to speak to someone in the pharmacy. The automated system put me through and no one answered the phone for over 10 minutes. I hung up.
I am done using this pharmacy. I have been coming here for a couple years and have only had problems in the last couple months. The first time all i wanted to do was pick up some ointment for my infant. Which you would think wouldnt take very long at all. Well I got told two different times in the drive thru that it would be a half hour. So finally after the third time I decided to call first and they tell me that my prescriptions been ready for hours because its just something they have on hand but they didnt have my insurance on file for some reason so all that time wasted for no reason.... Today, my son has an ear infection and all I wanted was the antibiotics to make him feel better which they told me would take an hour. Its been two hours and I just tried calling them and they told me that Ive been waiting so long because I didnt sign up for the text messages, which they of course didnt tell me earlier. Well its been two hours and my son isnt getting any better and Im over it. I think they need to retrain some of the people here because I can see Im not the only one who has had problems....
I seriously dislike when people especially business places give you their word and you believe in them. Just like this morning I dropped off two RX for both my girls around 9:30 a.m & was told they would be ready at noon today. I went at 1:30 p.m. to pick up, only to be told they werent ready. The tech told me I could circle around and wait for the next two cars to get helped. So I would have ended up waiting a total of 45 minutes or so. Not okay with me, thankfully these werent medications that needed to be taken asap.
Had my passport photo taken at the last minute by a helpful and understanding staff member ! The quality and speed at which I received the services I needed made for one truly delightful customer experience!
Walgreens is in desperate need of a second location in Carson. They are over worked and under staffed. The staff has always been polite, tried to fill prescriptions timely, and unlike other pharmacies in the area they always have medications in stock when I need them. They are slow, be prepared to wait, otherwise good people.
Everythings great but the pharmacy
On four separate occasions this pharmacy has astounded me with the complete lack of customer service and follow through. On the first, I waited in the waiting area for an hour and a half holding a sick infant because we are too busy to check our voicemails for your physicians prescriptions. Another time I had to go back because they forgot to reconstitute the antibiotic. More opportunities for hour-long waits for refills that were ordered days beforehand. Now tonight we learned that a prescription had not been filled because the dose is wrong. Although we did not call to clarify with the doctor, we just didnt fill it for the last 3 days. I cannot possibly switch pharmacies fast enough.
Amazing customer service. Traveling in from CA. Debbie and the staff made sure my rx was going to be waiting when I got off my flight last month. Moving here is stressful, but they made it easy. Sometimes as customers we meed to be patient and remember the staff isnt there to make us mad. With all the new laws and insurance verification, filling a RX is more complicated than you think. Just remember the golden rule and give them.time to do there job right. Thank you Debbie from saving me an annoying and costly trip to the ER......LC from the OC, and now Reno.PS. its a month later and they were the ONLY Walgreens to follow thru and call my doctor on another medication that required a lot of red tape. I never thought moving could be so stressful. Other pharmacies didnt care. These guys did. Thank you.
My family has been customer of Walgreensfor years especially the pharmacy. This location has possibly the worst customer service I have ever received. They have failed to fill my orders completely three times. This last time they forgot one of my most important medications...my seizure meds. I have to go back first thing in the morning to make sure they have it stock to fill because Im completely out. This is getting ridiculous...
IF YOU HAVE NOTHING TO DO ALL DAY THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!!! YOU CAN ALSO WATCH THE YOUNG BALD PHARMACIST EAT AND IGNORE PHONE CALLS AND LITERALLY MOVE SLOW AS A TURTLE....BY FAR THE WORST PHARMACY I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND DONT BOTHER. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ITS JUST A JOB TO THEM. ITS PRETTY BAD WHEN YOUR DOCTOR TELLS YOU “ I WOULDNT GO THERE “
If you have ANY options to get your prescriptions elsewhere, I highly recommend it. This walgreens is the absolute worst.
One of the worst pharmacies I have ever been to in my life will never go again. If they ever fill up my perception that will be the last time I use them.
My experience was horrible, i cant believe how screwed up this pharmacy is. They made me force 50 dollars just for 6 pills just because they couldnt find the order. This happens every month to me
I took my wedding vhs tape to be put to a blu ray and its been almost a month and they still cant find it.
I sat in line at the drive-through to pick up my prescription for longer than 25 minutes when my turn came the pharmacist was helping the walk-ins I didn’t even look at me and ignored me completely for another 10 minutes I drove away and gave up the worst service I’ve ever seen
Yet again, this happens every month. My prescription hasnt even been forwarded to my dr. I called it in last week, went to pick it up on the 21, they said I couldnt pick it up until the 26th. Today is the 29th and they have no record of it.When you try to call and speak with them, they dont answer the phone; Ive watched them pick up the phone and hang up without even talking to anyone. They ignore customers when you are standing there. Worst service ever. And I thought Walmart was bad. I just dont understand what is wrong with people now, you cant get decent customer service anywhere.
Worst customer service at the pharmacy. They dont even allow you to finish your sentence. Talking over you very poor manners. Will be picking up my prescriptions elsewhere.
Terrible experience! They totally ignore you in line.
This place has the worst customer service. With certain medications they look at you and talk to you in a judgmental way. When people are trying to get help for certain issues they make you wait till the 31st day to get your scripts, not even caring that you work on the 31st day and have to go all day without your medication. Very rude and judgmental.
Awful pharmacy. Didnt have what we needed ready after 2 days of saying they would
The service was good and staff was friendly
The pharmacy is closed for lunch at 2:00 in the afternoon. Didnt see that coming
Pharmacist are rude, they get frustrated and yell over the phone..will most definitely be switching!
Pulled in to pick up a Rx, three cars in the drive thru......30 minutes later i am still waiting and there is still two cars ahead of me.
Easy access & great selections
Wait times are worse here than any other Walgreens Ive ever seen. They need more staff.
Well stocked store.
Do not use the drive through. They ignore the people in it and take the inside customers first even if you see them walk up after you arrived at the window. So frustrating!
