The staff at Carson Home Furnishings is outstanding! They genuinely care about their customers and go out of their way to ensure you have a positive experience! We were working a project that required a sleeper sofa by a certain date. When they weren’t able to guarantee a delivery by the date needed they offer to supply us with a loaner which we thought was unheard of these days. Fortunately that didn’t need to happen but they went out of their way to ensure the sleeper sofa we ordered was delivered in time in spite of it being somewhat of a challenging delivery. The end result is stunning! A huge thank you to Melissa, Jason, Michelle, Blane and everyone at Carson Home Furnishings. You truly made us feel like FAMILY!!

We visited the store on a Thursday evening to ask for help with one of our LazyBoy powered recliners. It just stopped working. They said a technician would call as soon as he could.The technician called the next day (Friday morning) and said he could examine the chair right away. I said, “Sure”. He arrived in about 15 minutes. We were impressed with Carson Home Furnishings’ quick response!He wore his mask and that was much appreciated. After turning the chair over, he quickly diagnosed then fixed the problem, which was a loose power connector. He also explained how to reset the remote.The technician was very helpful and clearly answered our questions. He represented Carson Home Furnishings very well.We will continue to recommend Carson Home Furnishings to family and friends.

Very helpful in helping me select from great selection of Western Art by famous Western artist Tim Cox. Excellent prices on his signed prints. The store has fine selection of furniture for all rooms. Local owners help to make it a very friendly store.

I visited this store in search of a sofa and saw they offer high end, mid range, and low end items. Naturally, my preference was the higher quality sofa that was on sale, but still too steep for my budget even though I was offered a line of credit. The sales woman was a jewel in showing me various sofas and allowing me to access each one to touch and to sit on them. I would definitely recommend this place for home furniture.

Carson Furniture is highly recommended in my books. We have ordered lots of furniture from them and the staff is super amazing. Every time we have walked into the store, we were welcomed and we both feel like we are part of their family. Carson Furniture has a great selection, the quality is great, and the prices are great. Carson Furniture is so great with the furniture selection, friendly staff, and they even work with you. Carson Furniture, has kept our furniture in their warehouse because we werent able to close on our house yet. I own a La-Z-Boy recliner in need of a repair I saw on YouTube. To get the parts it was necessary to have a local dealer. The Reno store was closed. The next closest retail outlet was Carson Home Furnishings. Melissa and Blane were courteous and helpful in ordering the parts and shipping them to me. As a senior without her own car, I am most thankful.

We walked into the store with our dog and were immediately greeted and offered assistance. The salesperson showed us what we were looking for and we selected our furniture. While walking to the office we saw some additional items we were thinking about and they helped us make that purchase also. All the staff were more than friendly and repeatedly thanked us for the business. The furniture was delivered as scheduled and the set up was flawless. Unfortunately we discovered a blemish on one of the chairs and I sent them a picture and asked if they could come fix it. They immediately called and said they would bring a new chair. You just cant beat that kind of service. We will most definitely use them again and would recommend them without hesitation.

The customer service when you make a purchase is excellent, however the more important issue to me is how a business handles it when there is a problem. Went to Carson Home Furnishings because theyre the only genuine La-Z-Boy dealer in the Tahoe-Carson City area. Got what I felt was an incredibly good price on my recliner when compared to other retailers online pricing for the same product. What I really like about this store is that its locally-owned and family-run yet has the size, appearance and product lines of a huge corporate store. Employees and owners are down-to-earth and easy to deal with. Happy to support this family-run business.

We order some part for our 30+ year old lay-z-boy chair and they looked at a picture and knew what parts to order. they order they and even explain the two areas where difficulties occur in the repair of the chair and explain how to overcome these difficulties. This is great customer service and support.

I was looking for a simple glass desk and decided to order it from Carson Home Furnishings instead of online for a couple of reasons, but primarily to support a local retailer during COVID. Of course because it came out of Cali I had to wait, but as soon as it arrived they put it together for me so there was no guessing what screw fit in what hole :). It was a great experience, quick response considering the pandemic and very professional service!

I spoke with Blaine several times over the phone for furniture that we were interested in. Being out of state and trying to furnish our new home was difficult enough, however Blaine made everything extremely easy . He described in detail the items we had chosen and had recommended another one over one we had chosen. He then sent photos of what we had chosen. The other furniture companies we contacted did NOT offer a layaway program - Carson Home Furnishings does! I would send payment in and in approximately 3 days or so, would receive an email with an updated accounting of my account. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Carson Home Furnishings to anyone. Absolutely love the couches. Had some scratches on one so they replaced it for me. Couches are a bit cheap made.. thread is coming off a few areas. Other then that, very happy and will purchase more furniture. The service was amazing! They made us feel like family. Very helpful and fast at responding.

Awesome furniture but this is a country town with country paychecks and they Price their furniture with New York Prices. If money is no object I can highly recommend you check them out as the quality is definitely good here. Way out of my budget unfortunately.Edit in response to owners response,A long defensive response to my honest feedback is not the way to win a customer. My review was not negative it was honest. This is not the bay area with people making 6 figure incomes and I respect the quality of the product but feel its too high priced for the local economy. Just my opinion as a local customer. If youre in the business 20 years and cant take honest feedback from your customers I cant control your reaction. But I stand by my feedback as my honest opinion.
