My family and I are relocating to California from Dallas and we had a team of movers (should be called superhero’s) come and help pack and transport our things. The gentlemen who helped were Benjamin, Gilbert and Jaime. I would recommend this company and these men for any job we have in the future and to my friends and family here in DFW. They bring great energy and are very helpful. 10/10 recommend! Thank you guys!

Im an outside carrier, Armstrong United treats you like part of the family, was given a code to go in wash clothes, shower, hang out in area built for drivers rest room, ability to order food refreshing machines etc .. every driver I talked to was in love with job and crazy part, loaders seem to be very happy there also, this place is not great because the things they offer, but awesome people with great gratitude for company, work here too!! if your a driver going here be ready to be respected its a rare thing in most places but they make you feel comfortable while there .

Armstrong Relocation moved us back into our home this morning and gave us a 5+ star experience! Our home repairs were delayed due to scheduling issues so we had to move while also remodeling the kitchen with 10+ workers. Not only did the team calm my nerves but they reassured me everything would be set up so that minimal work would have to be done after the kitchen was finished! The movers were verify friendly, efficient and helpful.I cannot say enough good things about this company and my interaction with their movers. 10 stars.

I am a veteran and have moved numerous times state to state and out of country as well and I must say this company by far is at the worst. You will notice from the time I am describing using this company to the time of the review is a huge gap, but note this was on purpose as I wanted to file my claim and close this horrible chapter in our life.I truly hate having to email you directly regarding updates to this issue, but you are the only contact I have. It has been a week and no update regarding our claim. I have been in hospitality with major hotels for 16 years and prior to that a military veteran of 21 years. I am only asking that this be made right - we fulfilled every obligation we had with Armstrong Moving - initial deposit - misrepresentation by consultant causing undue stress - unfortunately we had to have our furniture stored longer, but we made sure payments were always on time. When it came to time of delivery - issues with scheduling to the point of being bullied to have it delivered on a Saturday and then told it would not come at all until days later - and when it did we had to endure attitude, of which you witnessed over the phone with the guy regarding payment and then we had the crew get out of a vehicle of which they had been smoking marijuana to the point of excess in the presence of my wife and i and our Pastor who was there to assist - and then we had several pieces broken. I remitted payment at time of delivery no question asked - in short I fulfilled every financial obligation I was supposed to, but dont feel again at all that we got the service we were promised. It has been at least three weeks since delivery and we are still seeking resolve. The above email was sent to the President, Mike Gonzalez, who I spoke with once or twice and this guy avoided all my calls. I am so disappointed with this company and would not adv.ise anyone using their services! When it came time to file the claim for items that were broken, two vases that were no longer in their container, but broken to pieces we were told due to the amount being above a certain amount, it was a little over a thousand that the amount was substantial so I had a couple choices- take the quick claim and receive up to $500- continue with the claim, provide receipts for items purchased, comparison of cost and then await to hear from them as they would want someone to come out and verify the damageIn short, they continue to prolong the process in an attempt to deter you from following through - very shady practices. STAYY AWAY - the company president should be ashamed of himselfThe only good thing about the company is Ms. Virginia and Angels, GREAT to deal with.

I was attended by 3 gentleman this morning by the names of Hector, Manuel & Rodrigo. They were all very sweet & helpful. Once they were done efficiently moving & organizing the items into our storage unit, they assisted me with a task, which they didnt have to do. Mind you, they were already loaded back up into the moving truck & a simple foot on the gas wouldve had them out of here. They made my day and morning that much easier! If they are an entire reflection of this business, I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND them. Thanks again for everything! Yall have truly made my day!

I used Armstrong for a move out of state. I was given wrong information, up-charged throughout the process, and have had to reach out several times to try and get a refund on items I was charged for and did not receive. During the quote process, I was told that my credit card would not be charged until my items were delivered. On the day they loaded the truck, we were told it would be an additional $350 for the 3rd party to prepare the refrigerator and washer and dryer. The fridge handles had to be removed and the dryer had one extra hose on it for steam. $350 seems very steep for an extra 15 minutes of work. We also paid for 17 special boxes for them to crate up our valuable pictures and mirrors. The crew did not have any special boxes. All they did was tape flat boxes to each side of the items. After packing up, the driver gave my wife 2 options for delivery. Due to the closing date on our new house, she chose the later one. The same day they loaded the truck, 100% of the quote was charged to our credit card. When we questioned it, we were told we were given the wrong information at the start. We now had no leverage as they had all of our money and all of our items. 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date, we received a call from the semi driver saying he was coming a day early due to a death in his family. When I contacted Armstrong, and told them I was closing on my house until the next day, they told me I would have to put my items in storage and it would cost $5800. When we discussed this scenario during the quote, we were told it would be $3000, another up-charge. After our items were delivered, I reminded them about my credit for the 17 boxes I was charged for and never received. I have been given the run around ever since. The last comment was they had to verify with the semi driver that he did not bring the special boxes before they could issue the credit. It has been over 5 weeks since that email and over 2 months since my items were delivered. I am still waiting on a credit. I believe they are hoping I just forget about it as I have always been the one to contact them and check on it. They never reach out to me with any updates. The most frustrating part is that for the last month I have supposedly been dealing with the customer service manager and I still get zero results. Dishonesty and poor customer service are the reasons I rated as low as I did.

Armstrong handled our local move excellently. Their estimator, Jack, was right on the money and gave us some great packing tips. Angela was our move manager and orchestrated our timing perfectly including a stop at our storage unit. The driver and both crews of movers were very professional, friendly and careful with our goods. They made the move as stress free as possible. Great job!!

BEWARE. TO ALL OWNER OPERATORS..The Owner Operators make, the moving experience great. Concerning your payments for services rendered. Youllhave a better chance with a guy 6 6,with a ski-mask,late night in an alley. Attempting to get your money then dealing with these people. Old smooth talking Brad. He speaks positive even at times inspiring. While at the same time sliding money out your pocket. Anyone that can rob you with a smile, is down out dangerous. I recommend Owner Opps. Ride straight pass them, If you wish to remain in Business. To the customers... Good luck I guess. Fellas guard your wallets, Ladies hide your purse.

We used Armstrong for our move from Texas to Colorado and they were fantastic! I have used them for previous cross-country moves as well and they have always been great to work with. Everyone from the VP of Relocation, Bruce Waller, to Client Services Director, Adrian Bergkvist, to Angela Kennedy, Move Coordinator, to Tim in the warehouse, provided excellent customer service throughout the entire process. The driver, Joshua, and his team of movers were the best I have ever worked with and they took great care of us. Everyone was friendly, professional, and efficient. Moving can be extremely stressful, but everyone at Armstrong made us feel completely at ease. I highly recommend Armstrong Relocation for any long-distance move!

I recently had two moves with Armstrong. One part went into their storage facility and the remaining to an apartment. Both were executed very professionally by the crew leader Carlos and his crew. They were timely, professional and quick but safe. I will definitely use them again when I go to my final residence.

We are so happy that we chose Armstrong Relocation for our move from Florida to Texas. As a matter of fact, Armstrong Relocation is the best moving company we have ever used (8 moves to 8 different states). From the very first call to Ashley, our move coordinator, we got the feeling that this company would bend over backwards to be the very best. Our estimator Mary Ann was fabulous and precise and her weight estimation was extremely close to what the actual weight turned out to be!!Wally and his packing crew were excellent, kind and expert packers. Nothing was broken. Cesar and Ali and their loading crew were extremely strong and careful and treated our possessions as if they were their own. Cesar kept in touch with us via cell phone during the days he was driving our goods over 1300 miles and showed up right on time at our new home on the agreed date of delivery.Cesar the driver is the best of the best. His years of experience at long haul moving were quite evident. We were also impressed that he has extremely high standards for who he will use as his helpers. Moving, especially to another state, is extremely stressful and after reading so many horror stories online of rogue movers and movers that do not care for the customer, we felt we needed to give 5 stars to a company that wants to perform over and above, 200%, for ALL of their customers. More importantly, Armstrong Relocation worked really hard at making our move as stress free as possible. We would use them again in a minute.

My move from Texas to Florida was over a year ago. While basic transportation requirements were met, there were certain aspects of the overall service that fell short. The driver arrived in Florida on a weekend and insisted that delivery take place even though arrangements to the contrary had been made in keeping with the requirements of the condominium where the furniture was delivered. Once boxes were unloaded, I was advised the unpacking service I had contracted would not be available for several days. This was unacceptable and I completed the majority of the unpacking by myself even though I had paid for this service. Ultimately, a third party was sent to my new home to complete the remaining unpacking of boxes. On the positive side, all persons who handled my transaction were very accommodating and pleasant to deal with.

The entire experience was handled professionally and with a high level of responsiveness. The estimator was thorough in explaining the process and helpful in providing the most affordable options for our needs. The customer service manager assigned to our account stayed in touch with us throughout the move - from start to finish. She was very responsive to our questions/requests. The packers and unloaders did a nice job, there were no damaged goods and they were very flexible in meeting our needs. One of the best moving experiences in the last 25 years.

There response time for a quote is very poor. I have been Inquiring for a international move and spoke to the lady in concern ( I would not like to mention) it has been 14 days and I have still not receive any feedback regards to the quotation or there interest of my inquiry. At least a courtesy email to acknowledge the inquiry. I have been working in the moving industry for 12 years 6 different companies in 6 different companies. We have never let a customer treated not important. Im sure the service for the moving explains.Hope this help Improve the company efficiency and look in to all customers as important clients. Because at a time of moving every customer wants to be in a least stressful situation.

We have moved several times and my husbands company uses this one. It was the worst moving experience of my life. The communication between them and us was horrible. The packers broke our things, didnt lable correctly, broke our tv. And we were told we couldnt get it fixed because my husband opened the crate it was in, himself. But they didnt send anyone to come uncrate it. So what were we supposed to do. I was told oh maybe you didnt have enough left in the budget. Well last time we moved twice as much including a car and still had funds left over. So they broke our tv and blamed us. If Id have broken it myself I wouldnt have said they broke it, not everyone is dishonest. Even though a lot of our things got broken the worst part was the communication. If you cant stay on top of your job then find a new job! I was calling constantly to get things done myself. No one knew what was going on people were late, unprofessional, and the driver even said they didnt take apart our things correctly thats why they broke. Worst experience ever. And whats even worse is they dont care because they got paid. Meanwhile Im stressing thinking about the next time we move and knowing my husbands company will most likely use them again.

Never again. Will take my business to North Dallas Moving and Storage. Our movers (not all of them) had a total lack of respect and regard for our belongings. We have had previous relocations through North Dallas Moving and Storage (RECOMMEND) and had two trucks and they were PROFESSIONAL and great care of our belongings. I continued to ask if we needed two trucks. The lead mover reassured me that everything could fit on one truck. Here is a list of what to expect:The garage was not packed. Items were simply crammed into boxes. Organized tool trays and drawers were dumped into boxes causing a HUGE mess that we had to clean up. A craftsman work bench was NOT unpacked and when moved caused a metal leg to bend. Tools were dismantled. Tools were thrown into boxes.Living room - our $4000 couch was completely dismantled. Much more than how it arrived from the furniture store. Now one section wobbles. I also took time out to take decor off the walls and place them in the dining room. These items were thrown into a box..... UNWRAPPED.Master bathroom - makeup trays SHOULD have been individually wrapped. Instead, trays were dumped into a box. The trays were stacked. This was a HUGE mess!Master closet - Items thrown into boxes. Shoes stacked and stacked on top of mens suits.Game room - Storage cube were REORGANIZED by the movers! All cubes were dumped into boxes and the storage cubes were broken down. Now I have to reorganize EVERYTHING!Shelving - My sons ladder shelving was completely dismantled......WHY? Not sure but now I have pegs and dowels that were not put back and it is unsteady.Toys - I found a toilet bowel brush in my childs toys! It was unwrapped.Welsh Cupboard - The dowels were not replaced and it is unsteady.House damage - Our wood flooring was gauged. The movers said it was already there. However, we moved from a brand new house that had a floor rug. It was not done by us. There was also wall damage. They did repair on site for me when I requested it.They also finished earlier than what was quoted to me. Now I know why. I then had to find a hotel with two small children so we could have a bed to sleep in.The only items that were packed professional was our kitchen. The mover who packed our kitchen did it exactly how it is supposed to be done.We have been relocated before. This relocation has been quite disappointing. Why they decided to reorganize our belongings, dismantle everything and cram items into boxes is besides me.

First, the good:Nothing broke. I didnt have black tire tracks on carpets or anything, and the drivers helpers were good. The guy who helped the driver unload at delivery was really friendly and even took the time to pet and befriend our dog. I dont think people understand how much those little gestures can mean to pet owners who have pets who are already nervous from all the packing. Now, I have used United before, but it wasnt through Armstrong, and Im sad to say that Armstrong gives United a bad name because the OTHER company (based in Virginia) was fantastic, and was what made me use United again. Armstrong on the other hand....Now, the bad:1. They dont listen to you. The quoting process was like a tug-of-war. I would tell them one number and theyd send back a quote with another few hundred pounds added on. You only get a partial refund for overages, so its to their benefit to keep quoting higher.2. They dont listen to you. I told them three different times that I wanted to know what the final weight was, because I had taken the time to weigh EVERYTHING and I was certain we were under the quoted weight. Two different people said theyd tell the driver and get back to me. Nobody ever responded and when I asked the driver at delivery time, he said nobody had told him to get the exact weight, and he just said it was approximately what was quoted. I call BS. Nobody EVER followed up.3. They dont listen to you. I told them wed pack our mattresses and yet there was some kind of extra charge for boxing them. I asked about it, and they said the loaders would disassemble bed frames and box up the mattresses in cartons or something. Loading day comes and the driver says nobody told him about any mattress cartons. I called the office about it and they called the driver to tell him to go back to the warehouse and get the cartons. The driver seemed to think this was the end of the world and asked if I really needed them, so I said no and wed just have them take the charges off. I called about it, but they never took the extra charges off.4. Holy unfriendly driver, Batman! The guys who did most of the loading and unloading were great, but the driver must have fathered Oscar the grouch. I dreaded having to ask him any questions, because it felt like anything was an annoyance. This guy just didnt seem like he cared AT ALL. He smoked on his break and left several rooms of our new house smelling like cigarettes, he didnt re-assemble some things correctly (or at all), he would yell out numbers to tick off the delivery chart and then forget about them 5 seconds later (so if I asked him to repeat a number, it was futile), or hed miss the stickers entirely. Seriously, this man single-handedly destroyed ANY remaining hope of me ever using United again. I thought maybe after the first tip (during loading), hed lighten up a bit, but nope, I think this guy just hated his job. The loaders and unloaders more than earned their tips, but I almost feel like asking for a refund for the tips I gave to the driver.5. The kicker to all of this is that nobody EVER followed up to see if everything actually went right and to offer any compensation for the problems. As soon as they had our money, they were gone. Good riddance.
