The Carrollton location is my favorite Goodwill! Typically, its a treasure trove of cool stuff with decent prices. I love how the shelves are always packed, and how some items are grouped into grab bag type clear bags. I love the quality here and the employees are always friendly. However.... recently Ive noticed that the prices have crept up, and even more concerning.. Ive noticed some shady shenanigans with the price tags. Last weeks half off color was yellow. While shopping I picked up 3 different items which had remnants of a yellow price tag that had been ripped off, and a fresh green tag slapped on. In other words... rather than letting those items sell for half price after sitting in the store for a month, the tag was removed and the process started over again. Not cool. Your inventory is free! Ill begin taking my donations and dollars to other stores if this continues.

Friendliest staff youre ever going to find, greeted me politely right when I walked in the door and made me feel right at home and welcomed. Shopping is fun and convenient as everything is so well organized and sensible. Prices are reasonable for the most part and selection is huge. Clean and sanitary, a great overall experience. Kudos, Goodwill!

I found the kitchen supply stuff redicoulsly high. Basically a 3 pc dinner set with odd plates 13.00

I always find something. Some of the prices are ridiculous. Today there was an item I wanted and it was missing 3 and they had it priced 3.99 and I can get them new with 6 for 5.49, little high. Most things are good price, But if its never been open and it has the price on it dont price it higher.

NOT SAFE!! although this goodwill has always had good finds, many of the employees refused to wesr masks and only about half of the customers wore theirs. checking temperature with a sketchy temp gun isnt enough to keep your customers safe.

Great place . Nice clean store

I love shopping at Goodwill and I shop at this one the most simply because it is the closest for me. I however, don’t understand the pricing scale. I have shopped at most all of the Goodwills around the Atlanta area, Rome, and Douglasville and they do not raise their prices for name brand items. Carrollton is the only one that I have noticed that does this and I am not sure why. I have also seen many other crazily overpriced items at this one. This is such a disadvantage because it is a very nice store, very clean, and has friendly employees. I have seen many items here, though, that you could purchase new for the price that they are asking.

Kind of small, big clothing section. I generally find something I like every time I go in. A bit smelly but not horrible. Prices are pretty high for second hand clothing like all Goodwills but when they do a tag color sale it’s wonderful

Great people and a well organized store. I also appreciate that the store gives customers the opportunity to round up the amount to the nearest whole dollar in order to help GED students pay for the test. My only complaint would be that prices keep creeping higher and higher.

This place is great! I get most of my clothes here. Why pay more? These come prewashed and worn in comfy. Great prices and friendly staff. Dont forget to look at the electronics. Never know what youll find.

It was really busy today. Learned that the different colored price tags are for what is half off that week. They run a different color each week. Yay! Happy shopping!

Denied my military discount while standing in front of a cutout of a soldier that said how goodwill supported the troops. I even showed them on thier website

Its got a bunch of different things but be careful using the bathroom. A worker straight up left without washing her hands. Gross. So, take that into consideration! I will make sure I bring hand sanitizer with me next time I go to this location.

Unclean. Disorganized. Does not do like other Goodwill stores by offering military discounts or senior citizens discounts. No one greeted us or attempted to help us the entire time we were in the store either. Then they wanted me to donate to one of their causes when i went to pay and leave.

I really loved this place to begin with.....and then things changed way over price for used stuff ! Dont buy the board games most of them are missing peices and the dishes ..well some were dirty ! And threw on the shelf with a price tag the staff is usually very nice and things that would come as a set they separate it like sheets or curtains they charge for each individual peice ridiculous and they dont pay a dime for any of it just disappointed in goodwill shame on you

I can always find something. Most of the time its new. Found Christmas stockings today that were great with fur paws on them. So cute!

Its aight. For being Carrolltons only Goodwill its small and theres not a whole lot to choose from regarding electronics and appliances. I will give them credit for always greeting folks when they walk in and it smells nice in there.

They do not give a military discount or a senior citizen discount. Any other goodwill you go to has days where they offer discount days and the color of the week.

Don’t waste your time here. If there’s anything decent in the store they’ve pulled it and marked it up 3-4x normal goodwill prices. Literally anything you can think of NOT just name brands. Most of these prices are outlet prices or Walmart prices - not thrift store prices. Totally disgusts me considering their clothes are DONATED to them.

Clean and well organized on the inside. I didnt notice that funny smell that most Goodwill stores have either. The staff are always friendly and are good about making sure that you dont have to wait in line too long.

Website and sign on door both said this location closes today at 8:00 pm and i ran through the pouring rain to get there at 7:03 pm and was told by a rude older staff member to leave because they had “already closed at 7”

I wish I could give zero stars. This is the MOST EXPENSIVE Goodwill Ive ever been to and the employees (two older ladies) were horribly RUDE and even made mean comments when I decided not to buy something that did not have a price on it. HORRIBLE! I am calling the highest person at Goodwill I can to report this as it was obvious if these two feel comfortable being that rude and speaking that way in front of customers then it is obviously a habit. SHAMEFUL.

Manager is awful. Made me wait 27 mins on a price. The lady in front of store has more mgmt skills. She was very rude to me and caused alot on me today. Nothing GOODWILL ABOUT THE MANAGER OF THIS STOREREFUSED TO HOLD A STROLLER I NEEDED MY HUSBAND TO GET IN A FEW MINS. So he walks in as someone is claiming it. My time means nothing but she can cost me a stroller yoo? Just not right

This is the first of many Goodwills that Ive been in that charges more for name brand items of clothing. Also some other items are priced higher than they are brand new at some stores. Not sure whats up with that?

This store is smaller than some. It has a store,drop-off, and Career Center. I have found some good stuff.

I’m a big time thrifter and love Goodwill, but this location isn’t that great. The store associates seem to be somewhat friendly, but the prices here are outrageous for a thrift store! Having traveled around the state of Georgia and stopped at my fair share of Goodwills I’ve never been to any that jack up their prices on items like this one. The pricing seems consistent at all other locations except this one. I’m not sure what their pricing scale is based on or if they have someone pricing their merch that doesn’t realize they’re working with second hand items, people’s things they don’t want anymore...but it’s sad. I have literally found items here that have original tags still attached that show it was cheaper brand new. Why??? It’s perplexing. I wish someone could get in on the inside and remind them they are a thrift store and they are selling items that were generously donated...for free... I would love if they would start pricing their items more reasonably because I love Goodwill and this is the closest location to my house.

Clothes are not marked right. Kids clothes marked as adult clothes. Way over priced! They may have a color of the week but good luck finding anything with that color! The associates are not helpful and dont care at all. I was there this morning. I found a pair of khaki shorts for my son (in the mens shorts) asked a young lady about them. She said well there are some new girls that dont know the sizes so they go off the brand. The price they were asking for the size I can get my son a brand new pair with a belt. I looked at her and said, this is why people are starting to refuse to shop here anymore. She shrugged and said I know. I walked around checked the color of the week, looked for any items with that color, found 2 photo frames. Put the shorts in the kids shorts where they go and walked out the door. I will find somewhere else to shop and donate from now on until they start dropping their prices back down to THRIFT STORE value!

I love this place. Great buys on clothing, furniture, movies, jewelry, pocket books, sun glasses and shoes. I could keep naming on and on.

Decent place that I occasionally go into to look at clothes, CDs, DVDs, and video games. Be careful what you buy though. Some of their CDs dont even have the right disc inside of their cases.

The manager of this store thinks shes running a TJ Maxx..i use to work for her she only cares about money, if you look filthy your donations get thrown away if you look like you come from or have money your donations get marked up, she treats her employs like her own personal servents, the GM is worse hes a pos if you wanna go to a good goodwill go to peachtree one the managers name is yuel hes a good guy.

I like the Goodwill and Im all about recycling, but Im stuck with a high dollar amount of clothing I cannot use, have never been worn, (most still have dept store tags) and they still refuse to take them back, even for in store credit. Im very upset because I went there to buy much needed yet affordable clothing, now not only do I not have the needed clothing, I also cannot AFFORD to purchase said clothing, because Im stuck with a big stack that do not fit, therefore are rendered useless.

This is the most ridiculous Goodwill ever. Ive been to Goodwills all over Ga and this is the first and only one Ive seen price each individual item, instead of like all mens t-shirts 1 price, all kids clothes 1 price etc. And to top it off the prices are on the higher side.

I almost always buy something when I shop here. I only wish the clothes were organized by size rather than by color.

A good place to go look for odds and ends stuff....

I work at the public library. That being said, I am an avid reader and frequent Goodwill for used books. I am VERY disappointed that I continuously find library materials still checked out to patrons that have been donated to Goodwill. These items are still goverment property and also STOLEN property. When demanding the manager return these items, I have been told that even though I have the Regional Manager on the phone, my nametag to prove my job, and can print out papers to show the item is stolen goods, I still have to purchase the item as it was donated to Goodwill. The manager is no help at all and continuously refuses to work with the library or sort items to check if they are stolen.If books are not checked, even when they have clear barcodes, spine labels and NO discard markings on them to be found, what about jewelery or anything else they could be receiving that may be taken. Regardless if they are non-profit, Goodwill needs to file police reports and/or return obviously stolen goods from institutions.On a side note, as a customer, I am unsatisfied with service or the ridiculous rising prices or the quality of the items that are moldy, rusty, or even covered in animal feces. All of these are health hazards for children and adults alike.Please actually conduct yourself in a proper manner or else dont sell anything at all if youre not even going to bother checking anything.

Used to like goodwill but now i dont. They are wrong doers. They treat their employees wrong. Fire your employee for something that wasnt their fault. Be careful what you buy. They have bedbugs.

They sell toys that could be very dangerous. The toys have rust and mold. When this problem was brought to their attention management was rude and took no action to remedy the problem.
