On my first visit I was impressed. They have a great selection of soft toe and steel tor boots. Very competitive prices on guns, ammo, and all sporting good needs. All the staff was very helpful and friendly. I didnt buy anything, just did some window shopping but definitely will be visiting with them a lot more.

Stopped by on a visit to my hometown to grab some Barnes Store merch for relatives with the last name Barnes. I was amazed at the variety and amount of clothes they had for sale. The womens area was like an upscale boutique.
My husband stopped in yesterday looking for a pair of boots and was very impressed with the level of service he rec’d. We will be shopping there again. Barnes stores is easy to find. My husband is a diesel mechanic and needs boots that withstand the harsh environment of his job, plus he requires a wide width. We can always depend on Barnes Store to have a large selection of boots in his size. The staff is very accommodating. I love the ladies wear aswell.

If your a bass fisherman its great. But not the place for a cat fisherman. One pack of circle hooks out of the entire fishing section and can get the same pack at walmart.

This place has kind of become my go-to for boots they have a fair selection with only a few titles such as Rocky, georgia, ariat, and just a few others that I dont know off the top of my head. However while the titles themselves are limited the varieties of these titles are nearly unlimited if you have a particular style that youre looking for under one of these names its probably here you can get anything from mud dogs, square toes, round nose, knee length ankle length swampers, combat boots, you name it. I was here shopping for boots for my job recently and havent really used them for any other sort of item except my pistol I had bought about 4 or 5 months prior to this visit. They seemed to be struggling in the gun department when I purchased my gun however when I was in there a few days ago there was about four pistols in the case and a couple rifles on the rack on the wall and that was it nothing else they didnt have any ammo because the supplier is shutting them down or on back order or I dont really know why but that area of the store was the barest. Ive never really used them for a fishing tackle store but they do have some variety in that department they have what I considered to be novelty items towards the front such as koozies, purses, wallets, coolers, just a real miscellaneous mashup of stuff. I dont really use the clothing section because what they carry is not really my style and its not really my place to judge the womans section because I definitely dont need anything from there however these sections do exist all in all its a very good store and the people there are very friendly and very helpful they dont ignore you and if they see you looking confused they will definitely come up to you and ask you if they can help or at least recommend something that may help your needs.

Great locally owned store! Prices are very fair and competitive with much larger chain stores. Only complaint is that you cannot buy a firearm using military orders when doing so is legal in the state of GA and can be done at academy and adventure outdoors.

My first time going there, I was blown away by the selection. A super helpful employee named Butch, was able to narrow the boot selection to less than 5 (out of what seems to be several hundred, if not more) for my line of work. The store is clean and organized, staff were friendly and helpful. I compared pricing to Amazon when I got home, and purchased the exact same boot for nearly $20 less from a local business! I have referred my co-workers there and plan to go back when I need more. Support your local businesses!

Huge firearms selection! Great place for outdoor apparel and trendy clothes. Good outfitter-type store. Large work boot selection including safety toe options. Prices are a little high but not unexpectedly so for a high-end name brand retailer. Very friendly and helpful staff.
I can only speak to the firearm section since thats all Ive ever bought from here, but the customer service was really awesome. The staff was friendly and very accomadating. I ended up coming back the following week and buying a second pistol simply becuase the customer service is excellent.
Best boot selection around
They are double the price on ammo as everywhere else. If theres one thing I dislike, its people taking advantage of people during hard times. They have a 100rnd box of Winchester white box for $70. Its literally $35 at academy. Not just ammo. Its everything. If your okay with getting sub par service, this is your place. They get away with it because no where else in Carrollton has ammo. Ill ride on down to d ville before I mess around here!!
Well between my 2 kids and I we were basically the only ones in the store and definitely the only ones in the fishing section. I didnt necessarily need help but out of the 5 or 6 employees laughing and cutting up not one person asked me if i needed help finding something. I was in the fishing section for over 30min. Customer service would have been nice. I probably would have bought more if i had someone to talk to about some of the products. This is not the 1st time i had this problem. For a mom and pop store you would think they would be more interactive. Not sure if i am willing to give them a 3rd chance.

The owners and employees are always friendly and helpful. I use ammo not readily available in stores and they order a case for the shelf when I ask them to and hold for me the boxes I want to get. Also found a rifle scope I have been researching and found it $20 less than lowest Internet pricing.

Very nice people. Stick to there boot warranty. Had a pair for 6mths, the sole started peeling, and they swapped them with no problem.
Went in today to purchase two hand guns. Process was quick, gave them my carry permit, filled out paperwork and was out the door in about 30 minutes. Prices are average, service good.
