Quiet overnight in RV or Semi can be expected here...

Ive been there twice in the last 3 wks. I live over an hour away. It is the dirtiest Walmart I have ever been in. The floors had trash everywhere you looked. The makeup dept. had alot of items off the hangers and on the floor. The grocery dept. was out of alot of items. I will go to another town from now on.

Clean and very easy to find anything youre looking for.

Its your typical Walmart, ive mostly found helpful employees when needed & mostly they carry the items Ive needed

Walmart is my second home, even when were not at home. I found what I wanted, but they hadnt been marked down yet. So I settled on something just as comfortable.

Had everything I needed was there. Employees were nice and help full.

No motorized cart available. Was told that they only have 6 in the whole store. However, I only saw 2 in operation. I am disabled and cannot physically handle walking that much. Not to mention that several employees were very rude when we questioned them about the carts. And also when one employee would not give me time to move out of his way. He almost knocked me down. And my grown daughter said something to him about. He stated they he had enough room to get around. She told him that I was disabled and that he had in his rush almost caused me to fall. At which point he became belligerent. My 6 yr old grandson even tried to tell him to be careful. So, my daughter & I simply left the aisle.

Carroll Walmart is one of my favorites just dont have somethings like the others.

Never stocked. Always unable to complete grocery list.

We went in for a specific item, found it, self-checked out, and left. Walmarts seems to be the same across the country, which is okay by me.

Wasnt in there too long but you have to watch what they do. Everything was good

DO NOT LIKE THE SELF CHECK OUT. I DONT NEED ANYONE CHECKING MY RECEIPT ON THE WAY OUT!. YOU DONT TRUST ME THEN HIRE MORE CHECKERS!!!!!!

Really good I can find things pretty well but some issues when you buy plastic airsoft BBS its 18 or older are you kidding me? That doesnt even make sense its just plastic.

Its Walmart. Employees act like they dislike being there and assisting customers. Doing as little as possible.

WalMart in general is just Walmart everyone knows youre not gonna have a dandy time shopping there in general but the employees, the crowd, everythings just worse here, but sometimes the last resort is WalMart and there are a few decent people so that is why I have it a 3 star, other than that if youre looking for good food visit HyVee or Fareway lol

The clerk took so long checking ppl out. I asked for help taking my items out to my car and after 10 minutes I took them out my self

Nice big store, aisles are nice and wide to move around in, and can almost always find what youre looking for in here. Although, some of the stuff such as video games, they need to stock up their shelves more and not leave empty.Otherwise, its a pretty decent place!

It was a very nice store clean and had enough staff.

Creepy guy followed us and tried talked to my 5 year old then waited at door as we were leaving.

I have to say the people that work here are amazing. So nice in the face of all of this, and this store is clean, the various departments : fresh food, meat, clothes etc are all very clean and neat, and the people putting stuff on the shelves are so friendly. The management and supervisors, though, are kind of rude and entitled. And thats just when I interact with them or watch them with the workers.. makes me wonder. That yellow vest is not really invitation to be insuferable, I would think.

Great clean store. Almost always stocked full, even has Clorox wipes. Stop hear if you are heading to college in Ames. There store have been hit hard with college starting!

I get prertty discussed because they dont keep items in the department together. Then you run all over the dam store trying to find what you want or need.

I love the Walmart where I live. I like the wide variety of clothes.I would give them only four stars because they dont have enough people checking out. They dont have enough people to help you find what you need either.

I have had great service, and sometimes not so good. When we first moved to area a year ago I liked the Walmart in Carroll for its size, product availability, service, etc. Over time it’s changed. It’s no longer fun, and many times I cannot get different products I am searching for. Many times empty shelves with different products. I was looking for a specific item one day...thermostat...found sign, but no product there. Instead space was filled with other unrelated products. Found an employee, and asked for their assistance. She walked to spot with me, said how she felt they were out, not sure if they’ll get anymore, and was aware of the misleading signage for this product too. To this day the sign is still hanging there, and still no product for what the sign says...something completely different there. I often shop the Walmart in Grimes with much success. I have overheard customer comments about the Carroll store and not finding that there, that’s why they come to Grimes.Over time Carroll has became my not so favorite store to shop. I have personally experienced others feeling the same way. It’s sad I have to drive an hour away to get the things I need when the Carroll store is closer for me to shop. Business sure isn’t what it use to be...customer service, and pleasing the customers shopping experience....

It is the Christmas shopping season so this makes a difference. Typically this store is a kept in order much better. What a disaster tonight! I blame the customers for this as there is no way employees can keep up. Have a little respect.The man working in the candy aisle was very helpful and polite.Thank you, sir.Not enough employees clearly. Twice now I couldnt find anyone to unlock the dressing rooms for me (that area was a disaster), and the checkouts clearly needed more help. Take out the registers if they arent being used!

Unfortunately...others have complained over time, and it’s visible no one with Walmart listens. Inventory with the Carroll store is terrible! Morning, day, night it doesn’t matter time of day...always empty shelves, can’t always get what you need, very hard to find an associate to help you, many many times with 1 particular product IF I can find what I need it’s all the way on the top shelf!! Course, no one around to help...the usual. I have to find my own way to get it down, if I can get it down. Wish Walmart cared more about customer experiences compared to making that $$$. Sad

I was there yesterday (May 2), and noticed the meat department, such as hamburger, steaks, etc.. Was nearly empty. But,the people are great and the store is very clean.

My last visit to Walmart was not unpleasant. However there were a few issues the cashier was fine oh, she was pleasant she smiled asked if I found everything I needed bag my my groceries nicely with clothes in one bag and bottles of liquid in the in another, so I was pleased with her. My main observation was with the staff on the floor everyone was stocking shelves only in the grocery department when I asked where something was was I led to the area and shown where was the other places I was and couldnt find what I was looking for a couple of the clerks seemed like I was interrupting them and their work because they were stocking the shelves. This was my main concern. Also I missed having a greeter at the front door.

Nice store! Clean, aisles are not crowed like some that tend to give you claustrophobia! Easy to find what I needed. Tried to find the Mainstays Vinyl Patch Repair in the Fort Dodge store, but they dont carry it, so grabbed my girlfriend to take a road trip with me to the Carroll store that DOES have them!!

Was very disappointed with this Walmart. Decided to go to this one, instead of the one in Atlantic as usual, but quickly regretted it. A lot of the shelves had empty spaces and they were out of several of the items that we use on a daily basis. Basic things like my kind of dial soap or my daughters deodorant. I probably wont be coming back to this store unless I have to.

Usually, even hearing the word “WalMart” causes my blood pressure to skyrocket. This Walmart, is absolutely stress free. The parking lot is nice, clear, with no shopping carts left all over the lot. I had to return/exchange a out of the box damaged item, the entire process was complete in less then 5 minutes, with no twenty questions or being grilled. The associate was absolutely wonderful. The store was neat, and orderly. Kind associates, as well as customers. Definitely worth the almost hour drive, I will definitely be returning to this nice store.
