This store is part of what males Carrboro such a rich cultural center. They have many exotic goods that are hard to find anywhere else and the prices are great. This is where I go to get regular and toasted coconut water. Its cheaper here than anywhere else and the toasted variety is very rare (and delicious) around here. From my experience the people working there dont speak the best English but will nevertheless try their best to describe what a product is if you have any questions.

Interesting selection of mostly packaged, mostly SE Asian foods. Very few fresh items. Limited produce is kept in a refrigerator in the back. Prices are not that great.

Lots of hard to find items esp. fresh or frozen herbs and veggies. Some of the canned goods are near expiry so just inspect what you buy beforehand.

Perfect little shoppe, items available were clearly priced but shop keep was not knowledgeable of all products except for the price, lol. So u must know what u r looking for prior to going.

Burmese food for Burmese people. Store personnel speak little English. Authentic Burmese fermented tea (Laphet) is sold here. Very hard to find else where.
