Christopher gets 5+stars, he was awesome...he was seemingly the only person working in the whole store and was doing everything from stocking and helping customers, to working the register! He went our of his way to help me find what I was looking for and also made sure my coupons and discounts worked when ringing me up.
I was there at 10 am to use my 32% off coupon which was to quickly expire. There was one lady employee helping a vender with his delivery. Customers were waiting to be checked out-this employee told them to use the self check only-no other employees available. Needless to say I left with my now worthless coupon due to needing to get an item behind the counter which I was told no. Every time I go there now there is only one checker and the self check. CVS needs to hire more staff and require them to help the customers which should be top priority. CVS in Carpinteria is no longer a go to store for me and obviously by the reviews not many other shoppers.
I can see why they have a low rating. Rude employees seem agitated if you need help with anything.
If I could give this store 0 stars I would. Tonight 9:30pm, I was In line. Mind you there was 2 other people in front of us who did not speak English, the cashier (Gabriel) rudely remarked to them, put your car number here while aggressively pointing. When it was our turn, we decided to pay with cash, we’ll Gabriel, let’s us know that he only accepted card, fine we go to the other cashier, who remarks, my cash register does not work, we go back to Gabriel’s line, where he remarks, “ I told you, I can only take credit card”. We state we only have cash and need to pay for our items, having been tossed between cash register, Gabriel finally helps us, and remarks “it’s stupid how you guys don’t have a card”. Meanwhile I had a card I just chose to pay with cash, I would have ever paid with my card if only he had not been rude about the situation in the first place regardless our payment method is our choice and it, should be respected, NO CVS should close their registers and not their door 30 min before the posted time. All in all we paid for our items with cash and then Gabriel have us a handwritten note with how much change he owed us, we asked to speak to manager in the morning he remarked “I don’t care my manager is right there” and the other cashier just stood there and saw all of this.
The worst CVS I have ever visited. The pharmacy is a joke. Every time I call Im on hold for 30-40 minutes because theres a line. One time I decided to visit and with clear view of the pharmacy I called. I called and the same process occurred. I was on hold for 34 minutes and finally told I was on hold because of a line. Keep in mind, I was walking around the store but stayed in the same general area and in that time only one person came. Its a literal joke the way they handle their jobs.
Staff is sweet
Was wanting to buy a curling iron unfortuntely noboby wanted to help me unlock them. I asked someone who was stacking she said Ill be their in a min, after several mins I asked the cashier, apparently her break was more important. What has happened to customer service?
Received multiple phone calls from this pharmacy for a patient that was not myself. The pharmacy (automated system) left voicemails with a FULL NAME for the patient as well as a prescription number and name. This is a HIPPA violation. When I called the pharmacy to notify them of the mixup, they claimed there wasn’t one. A live pharmacist called me tonight looking for this person. Again, using first and last name. Please please please be cognizant of the information in your system and do not call someone located in an entirely different state and give out information about someone that is NOT the patient. There is no reason I should have the information about a complete stranger that I have
Im not sure whether the staff member who was stocking on the refrigerated beverage aisle was an actual employee. Her mask was not covering her nose, and she was licking her fingers. During a pandemic? I asked her to please pull up her mask so that I could select my beverage, and get out. Im not sure Ill shop there again
Same stuff at Walmart for less in some counters
The Mgr. Dennis is his name is very bad here he has a nasty attitude before this outbreak he was bad and since the covid-19 he’s even worse!,he can’t help himself is attitude isn’t made for a good shopping experience at this CVS in Carpinteria!,get rid of this guy!!
Expensive is the operative word, but this is Carpinteria, CA... one of the overpriced and high sales tax, goods and services communities in the United States.
This store always has excuses. For not doing things. The only one helpful here is a cashier. Older man with white beard. He does what everyone doesnt.
This CVS is rather ok in the sence that it is rather large and has a good selection of product to chose from. The staff seems kind of over worked but still helpful. The pharmacy though leaves a lot to be desired and the staff seems like they dont really want to be there or their just fed up with customers.
The pharmacy changes staff regularly. They are so unorganized its not even funny. Sick of telling them the same things over and over. Im switching to Rite aid. CVS in Carpinteria has become the joke of pharmacies
I love the service, but your prices are too high. Sorry to tell you.
Very rude old man working there
Terrible customer service.
