We ordered a few platters of sandwiches, fruit, and brownie bites for a memorial service last weekend. Everything was delicious and affordable. I also highly recommend theyre tortilla chips. They might be the best Ive ever tasted!

Its like high school in there. Entitled workers who loom over you like your attempting theft. Meat and produce are premium prices with little or no quality. This place needs a manager and a massive attitude adjustment. Disagree? Why are the isles empty of customers?

ALWAYS AMAZING. staff not only goes above and beyond to honor birthdays but also disabilities. Have read previous reviews and they simply are not accurate. The staff. All of the staff are kind generous and remember so many things. Anyone who has not had an amazing experience here is just bitter with a chip on their shoulder looking for a pay out, or their 5 minutes frankly. Seriously, no other store serves this community better and ALL employees are top notch.

One star? Not because of the actual store. But because of the badly designed the online website is. They need to notify the company to fix the website. I want to search for a product not get an instacart ad of availability in my area. Makes the online shopping experience a nightmare.

I legit adore this SM. Best deli in the area imo. So many choices. Wings? What flavor? Regular chicken? Grilled, fried, or some tenders? All delicious and fresh. Great sandwiches too. Best part? Dirt cheap. Even better? Great quality. Give it a shot.

Smelled really bad in the meat section, but everything rang up correctly and it was clean and well stocked.

Once you realize that Save Mart is only a glorified FoodMax with the exact same product at higher prices, youll learn an important lesson--shop elsewhere.The meat department is a major problem. The sale price items are never actually available. 15/85 ground beef for example 12/23/2020 none available at 12noon. The butcher never came out to serve customers until a line of people gathered, but by then, theres no way you could ask him wheres the sale price ground beef!Also, the cases of frozen food in meat department werent cold enough to keep frozen food frozen!Unbelievable!

Didnt have what I needed use to shop here all the time but moved away people are still friendly store is clean. We got potato wedges to munch on and they were clearly in the warmer for awhile and some were hard, threw them away.

Well Im so impressed it was so nice, clean & well organized...I wish I can come here everytime but its to far from my place...who knows maybe Ill come back again in the future.

The Customer service has improved as of lately . Fortunately. I am pleased to say so. hopefully I will be unable to change this post . I love to shop here.

I am very disappointed that the store does not enforce mask wearing in the Carmichael area where the risk of receiving corona virus from others who may be carriers is high. Folks may not want to wear masks. Sacramento County Heath Department and the Governor of California has said that wearing a face covering in public indoor spaces is required. This store does not appear to care that both customers and staff are vulnerable to exposure due to their failure to post signs saying masks must be worn. This is a public health issue. We cannot shop where the company does not care to protect their customers and their employees.

This is our neighborhood grocery store and I love shopping here. It is always well organized, open, bright, and everyone is very friendly.

A deli employee (a young female with pink hair) told me she didnt have to wait on me. I called in an order at 7:55 for two items. They were not prepared & I was told she didnt have to serve me after 8pm based on the advice if her UNION REP. I wonder if the union rep ever worked in sales or service?

I needed help getting a ribeye sliced for stuffed peppers and the very large man in the butchers shop was very courteous and helped me out right away. While I was waiting, another employee that presumably works in the butchers shop even asked me if I’d been helped. Love the cleanliness and layout of the store but the customer service of the employees always makes the biggest difference.

Favorite place to shop..always clean, never crowded. Great customer service and always timely service.

They had a sale on 7-UP products, i selcted three different twelve packs of soda, all of which clearly stated on the package that they are brands of the 7-UP bottling company. The checker argued with me and refused to honor the sale price. What makes it so much worse is that the manager was standing there watching and listening the whole time, and never said a word to clarify their position on the sale and allowed this checker to speak to me in such a demeaning manner.

Whenever I do go here, once in a blue moon, I usually go for the zesty wings in the deli/bakery as they’re pretty good and don’t taste cheap. I did try them at another location though, and they were kind of bad.In regards to the whole store, I always love the atmosphere and stuff of these types of stores. Prices are kind of pricey for some things of course compared to like WinCo.

Their pharmacy is terrible at phone service. They will hang up on you purposely after they put you on hold to be transferred to speak to someone in the pharmacy. I called three times and it happened all those three times.

They have a wide selection and products and their produce is very fresh. A lot of the employees that work there have work there for a long time and they are all very kind and wonderful. They also have the perk of self checkout. During the busy hours, the self-checkout really comes in handy.

Just another grocery store. A bit ghetto for the prices. I remember when it was a Safeway and it was pricey then. Now, the store, itself looks clean, but the employees are about a hair less ghetto than most of the customers Ive seen there.Tonight had a decent batch of people. And I dont have too much negative to say about it. It may be a good idea to get someone one in to train people to look a bit more presentable.

Wide isles and well organized.

The staff are sweet, helpful and generally a pleasure to deal with, this store could have better meat, however the deli and bakery are super convenient, plus you can get fresh baked bread! There is an excellent selection of beer and liquor, and the pharmacy is well stocked, I use a lot of vitamins, allergy pills, and other OTCs. The prices are also much better than Safeway, the only difference is Save Mart has better lighting, and the food from the deli is always fully prepared, just a nice simple reliable grocery store, I only go to Safeway if i want Starbucks...

I have always received great help when shopping at Save Mart. The produce department make sure that their fruits and vegetables are well maintained for its customers. I like how knowledgeable the butchers are and the assistance that I received. The only department that needs a bit of improvement is the bakery. I wish they would have better quality desserts to purchase. I would also like for them to carry a baked item from a baker that is known to make great desserts.

The store was very clean and very well-stocked but I dont do a lot of shopping at Save Mart because the prices are kind of high. The staff was extremely friendly so I probably would go back to this location if I just need some milk or loaf of bread. But it is a very nice Save Mart.

Used to be my favorite supermarket but Shane is no longer the butcher there so dont really care for going there as much but their produce is very exceptional.

Just got back home from doing some grocery shopping at the Winding way + Manzanita Save Mart Foods in Carmichael. Let me tell you I was very impressed, as I always am with this store. Everything is always clean, tidy and the staff are always professional and knowledgeable. Plus I like the way the store is laid out, nice wide isles, awesome produce section and fairly good prices on meats.Plus the one thing I like about this store vs. all the rest in the area, their 5 for $25.00 deals. 5 meat products for $25.00 even. Tonight I made a power grab on some Foster Farms spicy hot wings, 3 bags and one flat of chicken and one flat of pork steaks, all for $25.00! I added it all up on my shopping app on my phone, if I had to pay regular price on all the meats it would have been $55.97.....good deal!This place will see a lot of my business in the future!

I will never go back to that store again! I have shopped at this store several times a week for years and the Baggers just keep getting worse. I got home tonight and my grapes were in with my gallons of milk and coffee creamer and were smashed, my pot pies were just thrown in the bottom of a bag and crumbled in pieces.. everything else look like it was just literally thrown in the bag ....I can get a lot better service elsewhere!!

This is the place to get your Christmas tree, 24.99 foot a big Douglas fir. They call it a6-7 foot. But its much taller. After putting it in the tree stand. I can barely reach the top. And Im 6ft tall plus my arm length. So they are more around 8.5-9 ft tall and its very full and oh that amazing fresh tree smell fills the house.Sometimes you will get sales on meat, and they are pretty good. But i dont see much business in there. Could be the prices on general things arent very competitive. But I hope they do better.

The Bakery did an awesome job on our wedding cake. They were patient and understanding when there was small miscommunication with the order. Everything was fixed promptly. They did not charge extra for customization.

Good prices, clean store, and it only took a few minutes to complete the application for the card. Plus I got a free package of Oreo cookies I wasnt expecting. Pretty cool store. 😊

Good organic produce. My favorite chain in Sacramento. I drive extra to go there ...right past Raleys and Safeway. Tied with Trader Joes for my food expenditures.

My first visit was pleasant. The staff was helpful in answering my questions. I was greeted multiple times by staff working in service areas. It was a quick checkout and the lady that bagged my groceries did a great job in not packing bags to heavy.

Although its a smaller store, shelves are always stocked, they have enough staff to help you and answer any questions, and they carry a varied selection of merchandise.Their specials are very competitive and help in saving money. Just be prepared for the crowds and the difficulty to get a parking spot.I specially love the array of discount manufacturers coupons I find on several products and they can be stacked with weekly discount prices or store deals for even bigger savings!

This location often smells like fish so I wont buy meats here. Produce has been good and packaged items are good too. They also have some yard items here at good prices like a hammock for $89.
