This is the best magic shop i have ever visited!! Mr.Steve and Mrs.Leora are such nice people. Mr.Steve was telling jokes and teaching tricks. The prices are amazing and the atmosphere is wonderful. Will definitely be coming back many many more times!!

First visit here the other day. Small but absolutely lovely. The owner and his wife are very kind and helpful. And there was selection everywhere. Fair priced, but a bit easy to miss on the street. Kinda tucked away in a corner but other than that Grand Illusions will be getting my business later on down the line.

I went here looking for some illusions for my son who has expressed an interest in magic. Steve is a very friendly and knowledgeable man. He took time to show several options and explain them. He offers classes that are very reasonably priced. This is a cool little independent shop.

I grew up going to this shop and have a lot of great memories here. I since moved out of state and havent been back for over 5 years. Today, I was back in town visiting friends in the area and knew that I also had to visit the magic shop! It was extra special because it was the first time my sons (7 and 9) got to visit. I loved watching the wonderment and excitement in their eyes looking through the cases and cases of tricks, and watching the master Steve himself perform the illusions. Steve helped us pick up some kid friendly tricks and we had a blast showing them to friends and family this evening; we even stumped grandpa! Quality illusions and great prices for a specialty shop. Cant wait to visit next time I am back in California.

This place is awesome and weve taken out boys there for many years now. Steve is so awesome and patient. Now that my son can drive himself, he makes more visits.Let him know if you have job openings. Hed love to work for you! :)

This is a fantastic magic and costume shop. Truly a classic Sacramento spot. Family business thats been in this location for many years. I have several friends that rode their bikes to the shop when they were kids, and I love taking my boys here now-a-days as well. Youre guaranteed to learn something while you are here, but make sure to buy something. I have found the more you buy, the more you will learn. Its a magic shop, not a magic show, so lets make sure this family business stays in business for years to come. Theres really not many places like it.

This store is delightfuly filled with magic. The staff are happy to help and knowledgeable in more than ordinary ways. I have personally driven by this place way too many times for me to justify why I had never come here before today. I will visit this place in the, I havent even started to explore the costume side. Very cool place.

This place offers high quality magic items. They allow you to feel certain decks of cards before purchasing, and offer quite low prices. They will also demonstrate magic tricks to you. This store is the best in the area.

I only dabble occasionally in magic but this is the only place to go. They are always great with my kids. The kids are always super excited to go there. Id give them 10 stars if I could.

Use to go there as a kid and spend hours at a time shopping, this was around the time Wayne released thread, I know its 10 years later but figured I stop by and say hello. The owners are amazing and left a lasting impression also they have real knowledge on magic and cardtistry etc not some typical magic shop that just sales lame gimmicks and gags.

I have made several purchases from Steve over the years. Ive had a custom fire staff made and most recently a custom leather dice bag made. I love coming into the shop and being treated like family. I highly recommend them for your magic, costume, fire prop and leather work needs!

Smaller costume shop and magic supply store. Owner has some on site stock and the ability to order and rent costumes of all sizes. Worth a phone call for sure.

I have been visiting and shopping at this family owned business for over two ecades. Im in the military and have vited dozens of magic stores in America and around the world. I have never seen anyplace that compares to the great service and fun you experience at Grand Illusions. I just called in an order last night, even though there are shops very close to me. I do not go to CA without visiting the shop and I dont order from any place other than Grand Illusions!! Ive been going to this shop since i was 12 and am now turning 32 and i can tell you from the bottom of my heart they truly care about making the customer happy and make you feel like a VIP everytime you walk in . i can remember when i was 13 and I messed up my hopping half set REALLY bad and steve spent about 2 hours fixing them and they turned out better than when they were brand new and i didnt get charged for the work he did on the coins (Steves the man). not to mention when the state quarters came out i couldnt borrow quarters for the cigarette thru quarter anymore so he exchanged my 2 year old cigarette thru quarter for a brand new cigarette thru half dollar (really cool) which he did not have to do, but thats the great guy steve is (also a fantastic magician, definitely a pro) and in fact im going to spend my Xmas money their today and will leave another review when i get back with my new goodies and i hope this long winded comment helps and to whoevers reading this have a magically awesome day. ✌😎👍🐇
