Been back a few times trying to figure out the right shoe for my marathon. Always great service and friendly team members! Prices are good and the VIP membership definitely pays off.I will admit, being a seasoned runner, there is a varied level of shoe/running/foot related experience and I rely on my own research and experience.

True to form, this past trip to Road Runner Sports yesterday continued to exceed expectations. Gregory (Kaye) couldnt have been more helpful and attentive! He really understood the exact size, shape, style, and feel/fit of the shoes. Road Runner Sports is the only shoe store Ill go to for any kind of active shoe-wear because of how much expertise they have in finding shoes that feel like clouds. Kaye really seemed to know everything there was to know! Every time I go to Road Runner I wonder if the service is going to be as good as the last time, and now Im starting to think that it just gets better and better each time. Many thanks to the company for building such a helpful culture! Truly appreciate being able to close my eyes and get a pair of shoes that will help. Highly recommend for anyone interested in active shoe-wear to stop in and see how great the RR team is!

Brandon was personable and addressed all our concerns. He expertly determined our proper shoe size and even double checked measurements. His selection of shoes for us to try was just the right amount for choice, but not overwhelming. We appreciated his expertise and courteous assistance!

Kaye was SUPER helpful in helping me find the right shoes! Whereas different attendants have given me different diagnoses at this location (which means someone would have had me buy the opposite shoes I needed), I think some attendants are just not experienced/knowledgeable. Kaye was super knowledgeable and helpful, and the shoes he helped me find have been great. So if you come here, make sure you ask for Kaye if you want someone who knows running shoes and will happily share his expertise with you to find the perfect shoe. Thank you Kaye! I give four stars because of the incorrect diagnosis the OTHER attendant gave me before my last visit.

The best customer service in retail! I called in and asked for help on locating an item. The employee Trenton was very patient and gracious. Once I arrived I was greeted by Austin. He found what I needed and definitely went over and above. It seems lately good customer service is hard to find. It just shows how a simple smile and a Hello can change your whole day. I was grateful for all of the help. Their products look great, clean and organized store. I will be back to purchase for myself.

Exceptional Shopping Experience - Ask for Kaye!I only had 30 minutes to dash in and get a new pair of inserts (1st pair were finally worn out). Kaye quickly found my record and got to work making a new pair. While those were being made he explained the current selection of shoes that would work best for my exercise style and my gait, and then explained the trade-offs between product material wear vs weight. (So interesting!) With all his help I was able to make an informed choice in new shoes, get inserts customized to my feet and put into my new shoes and get out the door with a smile in less than 30 minutes. Its cool I learned a little more about how running shoes are made and why. I bought shoes I would not have even know to try without Kayes help and knowledge. I used them today love them already. I was helped by the Young Man named Elijah. Its hard to find shoes that fit my feet. Elijah knew what products he had and brought me out a selection to chose from. First of all. I was never concerned with price mostly quality. I felt that his best interest was finding me a great pair of walking shoes. Had my feet scanned and had custom custom soles made on the spot. FINALLY FOUND THE PAIR THAT WORKED!!! I didnt even put my old shoes back on. When it was time to cash out I was informed about my warranty, membership options and again value. Elijah thanks for making my shoe shopping experience easy. Give this young man a raise and promotion because hes allowing your customers to focus on value of product not price.

I have been shopping at Road Runner Sports for over 30 years, which was before that had a physical location. They are always professional, helpful, and knowledgeable about the products they carry. Yesterday was no execption. Joel was very helpful in getting the absolute best shoe for my wife. So, if you are looking for the best place to get new sports shoes, I recommend you check them out. They have physical stores in multiple locations and a great online operation. I have never been dissatisfied with the products and services I purchased from them.

I love these guys! Upon entering the store, I was immediately greeted by Fit Expert Brandon. I told him what type of shoes I was looking for, a pair of fitness shoes for the gym and a pair of walking shoes for outdoor trails. Brandon proceeded to explain the types of shoes that Road Runner Sports carried and that they can accommodate my needs. We then proceeded to the custom insole area which I also needed. These things are great and help with perfect custom fitting of the shoes. The process went extremely smooth. Shortly, I was presented with several pairs of shoes of each kind that Brandon personally selected. He explained the uniqueness of each brand and what made them desirable. The fitting also went extremely smooth. In the end, I selected a pair of each from Brandons recommendation but one of which had a broken lace. I didnt mind but he offered me a choice from three other pairs of different colors. I chose the red pair which was more to my liking. The whole experience from beginning to checkout hardly took any time at all and was very pleasant. Since then Ive worn both pairs and have been very satisfied with my purchase. They are comfortable as he**! Kudos to you Brandon for making my shopping experience a pleasant and enjoyable one. You deserve 5-stars as well! Went in to Road Runner near the Carlsbad Outlets today (where we typically go) and was expecting the typical quality service that we get from their team. Always attentive, informational, and friendly. Today exceeded my expectations when I was greeted by Kaye, who eventually helped through the entire process of the foot/GAIT analysis, insoles, and ultimately purchasing a new pair of shoes. On top of that, Kaye was just super personable and all around great guy. We had a great conversation and he went above and beyond to make sure I left happy. I went to the Carlsbad Roadunner store yesterday to get my yearly new pair of shoes. I was assisted by a young man name Austin who was so incredibly helpful and patient. I like to try on a lot of different shoes… And I even will try the same pairs on a few times to make sure it’s the right fit. I am an emergency room nurse and having comfortable shoes that are good quality are very important to me. Austin was exceptionally accommodating… The whole staff there is so friendly and make the customer experience wonderful. I definitely highly recommend Roadrunner....you won’t regret it!!!!

I have really happy with my visit to roadrunners.I have spend more money and time just trying to get shoes that won’t hurt me feet while working out!They helped me get shoes and insoles that at least on my try out there it didn’t hurt i joined the VIP membership if in 90 days my shoes we not what i expected i can take them back and get new ones... hopefully i don’t need to do that but is nice to know there is a plan b.The staff was super amazing, they even let out bulldog in the store. 😊

I was hoping to have a positive shopping experience but unfortunately staff fell short today, and I mean short as in no customer service and short as in limited staff.I came in looking to see and shop for a new pair of comfy shoes and see what this store could provide for me. I was recommended by a coworker to come here and shop since shed had such a positive experience.I first off passed by a person who i later found out was a staff member and was not greeted by them at all. I walked around for a couple minutes to look at some shoes hoping someone could help me but received no help. I instead was helped by another customer who saw I was looking for help. she, herself, had been sitting there too for a while looking for help herself. . It took me a couple of minutes to realize she had gotten tired of waiting and walked out. I had to interrupt this guy on the floor a couple of times just so I could get a pair of shoes in my size. I was finally able to get a pair and walked over to the check out. I was checked out by a cashier who seemed a bit defensive when I told him no one had helped me, he proceeded to say, are you returning these shoes? I said no, and he asked well who got these for you? Does that mean someone helped me? .. no! It doesnt! If I couldve walked into the back to get my own, I would have since no one could even bother to say well be with you shortly or even Hi!I expect a certain standard of customer service as stores like these, this isnt the Nike store at the outlet where its mad busy. Its a small store with about 6 clients.If management reads my message, get back at me.Im an easy going person, maybe this review may make you think the otherwise. I just want an attentive person to my simple needs even for 5 minutes. And greeting a person as they come in goes a long way.

He helped get me into the correct size and style of shoe after an error when getting my feet scanned and even found the desired color (special order). The entire team is very friendly and willing to help and listen to best serve you the customer.

Had a shoe start coming apart after a few weeks of wear. They didn’t even bat an eye when I came in to exchange it. Left the brand name out because maybe it was just a fluke. I was in and out in under 10 mins wearing my new pair. Both the sales rep I spoke with initially and the rep who did my exchange were friendly and professional and met all my needs. There was even a discount on the shoes due to a sale so I got some of my money back too. As far as bad situations go, this was one I came out smiling at the end. Thanks for the help. Highly recommend this company if you need athletic shoes or specialized inserts.

Kaye was great to work with! I did not feel rushed at all. I could tell he really wanted me to find the perfect shoe for my 150 mile walk coming up in September. Unfortunately neither pair worked and I will have to exchange and try again. I do have an odd right foot so I don’t blame Kaye or the team at Road Runner at all. I went through the 10 minute diagnostic with the associate Hevani and left with the best possible shoe for my needs. He was very easy to work with and friendly and helpful. I would recommend that any one needing shoes, take the time to do the assessment. It was very enlightening and helpful. I did not leave with the shoe I originally thought to purchase. I am really glad I took the time and was intercepted because I think the choice I purchased is spot on.

The service is always excellent I love my experience that I’ve had every time my only suggestion is that you have to credit card check out with each sales person so you don’t have to wait in line they could just check you out right after they bring you the shoes that would make that a five star nobody wants to wait in line and everybody likes quick and easy and if you can add that that would make it perfect it’s a great investment just like at the Apple store when you go to Apple they just have their hand check out and they check you out it’s a good model
