Went in to pick up an item as well as to get a consultation for some skincare, but when I walked in, nobody acknowledged my presence. Both staff members were engaged with other customers, so I waited. However, not only did nobody said hello or welcome, but when one customer was clearly ready to check out, the staff member kept looking for samples to give the other customer and went so far as to make samples and to go to the back to look for more prepackaged options. The other customer kept apologizing to me, rather than the staff member, feeling sorry for the lack of care I was shown and for my waiting. I have no problem waiting, but I have a problem with being ignored. I get that all service and client spaces are short staffed as stores reopen, but this felt like I was being profiled as someone with less to spend (which I’m not). Will not return here and will ensure that none of my friends or family do either.
The store manager, Maria, was extremely kind and helpful. All the personnel I dealt with were informative and seemed to really want to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase.
Terrible experience. Personnel were rude to my mother and I. The sign outside said free gift with purchase but after making a $50 purchase we discovered the free gift is only if you pay over $200 (and I had to ask the cashier about three times before she replied to my question). My mom wanted a printed receipt for her bookkeeping but they would only do email receipt and my mom didnt want to get their spam emails so she was stuck without any receipt (and the cashier was impatient explaining it to her, I had to translate her abrupt statements). Because of COVID not only could we not sample things, but we couldnt even touch the closed items on the shelves at all. We waited for ages while they explained at length every products details to two other customers, before we could be given the item we wanted from the shelf that we already knew we wanted when we first walked in. Ridiculous. Not going there ever again. Will have to find someplace else in the area that stocks Bobbi Brown.
Good products, very poor customer service. So much so that one can easily buy online and avoid the unfriendly staff. Manager should be replaced. After all, s/he sets the rules and the expectations.
I get my eyebrows waxed at Bluemercury by Maria! Maria makes Bluemercury shine. She is an excellent esthetician. She is extraordinarily kind. I followed Maria when she left Ulta and went to Bluemercury. I highly recommend Maria because she is very fastidious about her work. Maria does not rush as she wants to give her clients the best outcome for whichever service she is providing. I highly recommend Maria and I will follow her wherever she goes.
Horrible customer service. I bought an eyebrow pencil during a promotion time and the woman working there gave me the wrong size. When I went back to get the correct size they wouldn’t honor the discount even though it was their employee’s error.
Sales consultants aloof, not helpful, talk between themselves and act like you are a bother. Awful experience Sunday 2/23/20. Walked out without buying what I needed which is sad because I want to support local businesses.
