Im not sure what to say. My wife and I went in to test drive a vehicle and met Jose. The test drive went well at which point we asked for pricing. Jose said he would email us the figures. A day and a half later were getting marketing spam and still havent received the pricing. We called the dealership to ask for help and were turned away. Long story short, they dont seem interested in selling the cars on their lot. Its a truly bizarre situation that no one at the dealership seems interested in resolving. Rest assured well be purchasing our vehicle elsewhere.If you want to chase them down and beg them to buy a car, then I guess you can give them a whirl. If youre looking for help then save yourself the time and hassle and just go somewhere else ... anywhere else.

I am extra suspicious of car dealerships because I used to work at one so I know how it can go. I have been looking at used cars for months now but due to the shortage - whats out there is usually either too expensive or has lots of defects. Often these days when inquiring about a vehicle you dont even get a call back. From the very start my experience was completely different. Dino called me right away after I submitted an online request (only took a few minutes to get a call back). He was very up front about the status and condition of the car. He took photos for me and provided all the information I requested. He wasnt pushy and was really helpful and kind. When I got to the dealership Dino was with customers so I was greeted by Patrick Carr who took over the sale, he was wonderful, honest, kind and trustworthy. I didnt feel the stress of a normal car purchase interaction at any point. I trusted both of them and knew they were helping me not just selling me a car. The gentleman in finance was wonderful as well Sirus I hope I got his name correct, I did want to mention that there was no high pressured sales there either. Just wonderful humans doing their job and going above and beyond for another person, not just a customer. Thank you Lexus of Carlsbad, Im so happy with my new/used car and the process was impeccable.

This dealer has ABSOLUTELY provided the best service I have ever received. Every single person that has helped me from the moment I drove in to the cashier that last helped me to The operators who picked up the phone were so nice so accommodating I have never ever gotten this kind of customer service from any of my previous dealer experience. Ive owned BMWs I have owned Mercedes usually go to the Beverly Hills dealers to get my cars serviced never have I received such an amazing customer service. I would give five diamonds instead of five stars bless you all thank you

Great service and deal!!!I Live 3 hrs away from Carlsbad Lexus, I looked online and seen a car that I liked. I put in an inquiry and got a fast response. David Flagg reached out to me and I informed him about the car and my offer on a Lexus ES. He said he would talk to his manager and they quickly accepted my offer on a I drove down.They didnt hassle me with add ons. I left the dealer with my pristine certified Lexus ES in a timely manner.

I would not recommend buying a car from here. My wife and I were quoted a price on a vehicle and told it was on sale. Turns out they lied and told us that was never said. I paid more than I was originally quoted and we left there two VERY unsatisfied Lexus Carlsbad customers.

Let me tell you something I happen to run out of gas right near this place and you would think they might have some there some where, but not only was there not a drop of gas anywhere even in a can but theyre also was not one single person there that even acknowledged me let alone tried to help me. Not one soul tried to even ask if I needed anything or did I want to see something. in fact, Id go so far as to say I feel like the dealership ghosted me LOL

My cousin Isabel B. purchased her dream car today. It was the 2021 Lexus NX 300 5 Dr SUV in Nebula Gray Pearl. We have been searching for this car since April 2021. I just googled this car online today and Lexus Carlsbad had it in their inventory. We took a drive there and Haley DeAnda helped us. She was professional, courteous, and very customer service oriented. We told her what we wanted to test drive. She was quick to respond to get the key and the test drive was great. She explained to my cousin all the features in this car. Randy one of the sales manager came to Haley’s office so we can talk about the price. Then, after we agreed on the price, David the finance manager came in and introduced himself that he will prepare the documents for my cousin to sign. Everybody was very nice and it was a great day for my cousin and Lexus Carlsbad.Haley recommended other services we can purchase which we did in financing with David. After signing all of the documents, David walked us back to Haley’s desk and wished us well. My cousin’s car was detailed with a big red bow on top. Made this very special for Isabel. We took pictures of course. Before we left, Haley really took time to set up all of the technical set ups and made sure we were very satisfied with everything before we left. She gave her business card and said if there is anything else we need help with to just give her a call. Please recognize Haley DeAnda for a job well done. Thank you to David Carillo for being patient with all of my questions and explaining all of the other optional services we can purchase which my cousin ended up purchasing several. As a first time car buyer and someone with anxiety, I am in the process of buying one of their used vehicles and they have been so helpful. I did NOT come prepared, so I just came with wanting a certain car and they where so patient with me and really worked with me being a first time buyer and having my mom across the state being a co-signer. Bad car buying experience. Pay our price for a certified used lexus or get out was their attitude. Purchased my car as a certified used but they couldnt ever find the issue with my heater going out after several attempts while under warranty. An independent mechanic found and fixed the issue first time.I also use premium oil in my vehicles but they refused to use my oil when I went for my service. Lexus San Diego used my oil, no problem.I highly recommend buying your Lexus elsewhere.The same group owns Lexus Escondido and they have the same questionable service policies.

I stopped at this dealership expressing my interest in a 2022NX the new model. Patrick Carr the sales consultant said they have NO information NO brochures nothing on the new 2022NX model however the 2nd time I stopped a few days later I was lucky enough to get a ride along with another customer to test driving the 2021 NX And I appreciate that. When I was getting ready to leave I checked with the receptionist and asked her about a brochure and she was nice enough to walk over to the counter and get me a brochure on the 2022NX so I guess when Im ready to buy Ill have to check with the receptionist.

I had a very good experience, I went to a few different Lexus dealers, at this other places they didnt took me serious.I did call this other dealers later to find out what happened they told me you have bad credit, and thats their reason for contacting me afterwards.When I got to Carlsbad Lexus Jorge sauzo approached me and started to showed me cars and yes I bought one, the bad credit still and the rate is a little high, but, I took the car that I wanted home.Jorge did an awesome job together with the finance department.I do recommend if you want buy a Lexus, go to Carlsbad Lexus

Today was my first time at Lexus of Carlsbad, I bought my Lexus is 300 in Lexus of Tustin in March. I went in for a routine oil change & right away when I arrived, they were very welcoming & friendly. Was helped right away, I met with Ryan Claudin the service consultant. Very helpful & went through the services with me. I was able to get a loaner car to go home & relax. I picked up my car later in the evening, fast service picking up my vehicle. I have been taking my Lexus IS250 here for service almost 10 years. This place used to be great, but they have lately been missing basic things. A month back, I took the car in for work and the car had to be jumpstarted when I picked it up because the battery was dead. After the battery was fixed, the windows did not work and I had to take the car back to get the windows re-set.Later, I took the car in for an oil change and the mechanic did not re-attach the plastic engine cover and left it rattling under the hood. I returned to the dealer for them to secure the plastic cover with snap ties.Today, I took my car in for the check engine light. They did re-set the light but delivered the car to me dirty. I had to wait 30 minutes for them to clean it. Hope they get it together again.

I bought a 2017 Lexus LX and am in love with the car. There were some minor things that needed to be repaired from the original person who leased the car, and Rick who is the service manager and Patricia who works for customer service, we’re huge blessings... besides the extra little goodies that I was blessed with from the dealership, the new paint, entertainment screen and speaker are pristine and they were kind enough to bring my car to my home. Long term and first time customers of the dealership, become friends and are so well taken care of! I highly recommend Lexus of Carlsbad and in particular parts and service! I was ready to buy a Rc 350 the same day I went in to Lexus of Carlsbad and I understand that I look younger than my age but when I went into the dealership I was pretty much ignored. The sales representative was distancing himself from me when looking at the showroom cars and when I confronted him all he wanted to do was offer me a brochure and pretty much hinted that I leave. Overall I had a poor experience with Lexus of Carlsbad and I just went over to Lexus Of Escondido and purchased the car I wanted even though it was a longer drive and out of my way. Hopefully the sales team at Lexus of Carlsbad will learn to treat everyone the same and with the utmost respect.

Was in the market for a L/Certified IS or RC model and Ghassan Asfour was the sales person who took care of me. I had been previously looking in Escondido Lexus and spoke to 3 different sales men and women there and ill just say this, Ghassan blew all three of them out of the water by a landslide. Im very happy to have purchased from Ghassan. Overall my experience with Carlsbad Lexus was amazing unlike Lexus Escondido. * Note: didnt end up buying car. Review based on prospect experience.Usually, when people come review a dealership, it is post-sale or a no sale experience with negative context. That is neither the case here.I am here to share my experience that included two test drives during COVID and negotiations to follow.Ghassan (with the help of Haley), was presented my lead and he was very warm from the get go. He made the test drive as seamless as possible, given the fact that he was unable to be in the car with me. Not being in the car did not stop him from educating me on all the features and differences in the vehicles.While I was on a test drive, Ghassan took the initiative to get a quote for my 2012 Civic I was going to trade in. Though I did not accept the quote, I appreciated that he took the time do that while I was on the test drive, speeding up the whole process.Days following, Ghassan and I connected because I was able to sell my Civic to a family member and I was ready for my new car. Ghassan was very responsive and easy to communicate with. He was a great sales person, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for new car.While we ended up not being able to make a deal, my experience was positive, and having worked in a dealership myself previously, I can confidently say, this is the type of experience you want.

I recently had an issue with Lexus of Carlsbad, something went wrong when I took my car in to be serviced. There wasnt really any resolve for me immediately when I went to handle this issue. I was pretty disappointed by the issue when I got done speaking the the representative. The next day the manager called me to resolve the issue. And explain to me that it was out of the power of the newly hired representative to fix the issue themselves. We I totally understand. The manager who I spoke with took time to explain the matter at hand and what had happened and I really appreciated that. Then she told me that Lexus of Carlsbad would fully take responsibility for the issue. I really appreciated that and appreciate the manager their for helping to resolve the issue.

The level of professionalism is spot on. The Carlsbad location is the main dealership I take my car to but also the Escondido dealership when Im in area. The customer lounge area is always clean and kept and the coffee bar is great when waiting for your car. I always get my car back washed and ready to go.

It took two hours for a simple 10k service. However, the nice gal in the service lounge and the valet driver were very attentive and made it pleasant to talk to them. Lexus should really work on the lounge make it a bit more mom and kids friendly.

9 years ago we were in the market for a convertible for my wife. We eventually purchased a Jaguar, but we were greatly impressed with the Lexus Salesman, Bob Kregur. Recently my wife decided to go for a sedan and when we walked onto the lot at Lexus Carlsbad, we were pleased and surprised to once again see Bob. His expertise and calm manner were very professional and reassuring. We knew if we were to purchase a Lexus, it would only be from him. One of our concerns with the Hybrid was the ability to hold our golf clubs. So we decided to stop by with them after we had played one Sunday afternoon. We wasnt working that day, but made special arrangements with Patricia to assist us. Then, she turned out to be a font of knowledge on all the electronic features of the ES 330h. All in all, it was a great experience and I felt we received a fair deal as well. And my wife couldnt be happier...all a husband could ask for!

This is for the service department: 1 star because the staff really is, very very friendly. Thats it.Overall though, I was really disappointed in my visit and wont go back. Three reasons:1) Their prices are outrageous, there is no other way to say it. I dont care that this is a luxury car brand; they use that to charge prices that are borderline unethical in my opinion. Even if you dont want to DIY, there are so many other options to get the same service, at the same speed at a MUCH cheaper rate. This is the primary reason I will not be returning.2) Lack of attention to detail. The real reason i brought in my Lexus was for a thorough inspection and to get the dreaded Maintenance Light turned off (not the same as the oil change light). I made it crystal clear, thats why I was there... Please ensure the tech turns off this warning when they are done. Did they turn the light off? Nope.3) Apathy. When the rep called me and told me they were done, he let me know that it looked like some rodents may have been making a motel in the engine bay. He said there were leaves and sticks strewn about, and to keep an eye on it. Low and behold, when I popped the hood when I went home, I expected this tech to have made some type of attempt to clean some of that debris out. Nope.100%, I will not be going back.

Had a service visit for scheduled maintenance and headlight error light. Staff was super friendly, engaging and chill, the waiting area is very luxurious like a nice hotel (even the bathroom), and the courtesy car was very clean and even smelled freshly cleaned. I recently purchased an L_Certified car and brought it for service for a due bill item. There was no record in service of my repair item and I wasnt told to bring in anything for proof at time of purchase; otherwise I would have presented the due bill. Mr Castillo found the authorization and provided me with a loaner vehicle for the duration and called me when the work was completed. The repair was impeccable and I was completely satisfied with it. Other than that, I believe everything else was as expected.

I have bought and have my serviced my cars from Lexus Carlsbad since 2005 and have always been very satisfied with their service. Salesmen are always very polite and helpful, managers have always spent plenty of time with me and have made me feel very comfortable. Their prices have always been lower than any competitors. Therefore I recoomend them very highly.If you have dealt with a lot of dealers, Im sure you will notice the great difference!

When I was buying this Lexus, the original salesman Harvey did not show up at the appointed time, so I had to start over with different salesman, Steve. When the deal was done and I asked about time, Steve said no problem, it will take no more than half hour. It turned out 2 hours. Since Steve was quite knowledgeable in other ways, he surely knew how long it takes .... honestly?Fast forward to one year ago:My friend did me a favor and took the car in for its routine 12 months maintenance, it was by appointment, but Lexus Carlsbad wasted several hours of his time anyway. He did not complain much, but now I know what he likely went through. His words were good thing I brought a book with me.Fast forward to today:This same car is just a backup, I hardly drive it, less than 3,000 miles in 2 years. The factory mailed me 2 routine maintenance reminders, to get oil change, check brake fluid and tire pressure. By chance, I happened to be driving in that particular car, past that particular dealership, picking up something for the primary car from a nearby parts store. It was early afternoon and I had an hour to spare, so I took a chance and stopped by the Lexus dealer without an appointment, being apologetic .... if by luck you are not too busy, else I will do it another time by appointment.The greeter smiled no problem! so I smiled back and pulled up to a designated space. I had to wait for the service writer Drew, and this should have been a clue. When Drew finally emerged, he had paperwork in hands. Once again, I asked about scheduling, once again got the same answer no problem. Then the paperwork was signed and my car was driven away. I asked Drew again about time. This time the answer changed from no problem to you can pick it up next Monday (To change oil, check brake fluid and tire pressure?) I wanted my car back and Drew adjusted his estimate to about 3 hours.My options at this point were to scrap everything, rip up the paperwork and go home mad, or to bite down and endure this trap. I did get a loaner car and Drew promised to call me no later than 5pm, since they close at 6. Except that nobody called, and at 5:45pm I called them. Drew - that earlier no problem Lexus representative, he supposedly became suddenly ill and needed to go home sometime between 2 pm and 5 pm. And that was that, Lexus customers be damned! However, the car was probably ready to be picked up. I asked: If the car is ready, why didnt anybody else call me? No answer, the phone line got transferred to a cashier who did not know anything about anything, except that the car is ready and they are closing in 15 minutes. Keeping their loaner car over the weekend would cost me $130 while they keep my car locked up and collecting dust. The cashier asked smartly how can I help you? and I replied by staying open 5 minutes past closing time. She hesitated, but promised to do that, sort of, and I made it there just in time. One of the guys there told me: Brandon swears that he called you. The lies just dont stop at this place.On a positive note, they have a sign which says that they accept from public old engine oil for recycling. Thats a nice thing to do, if it can be believed.On a negative note, Drew knew nothing about that, he explained that the sign was there only for a week. Well, I noticed that sign just while waiting for Drew to show up!!!So there went my whole afternoon for an oil change, but for Lexus Carlsbad, thats no problem!

I loved working with Bob Kreger. I went to the dealer to ask about the 2018s coming in, and that is when Bob came up and told me I could get a really good deal on a 2017 right now, and especially before the end of the month. I ended up getting a 2017 IS Turbo which I love. I told Bob what color I would want, and two days later I was driving off the lot in my dream car. Bob went over everything in detail with me on the car. He was very professional and nice. He called me the next day to see if I had any questions or concerns about the car. I called him once to ask questions about the radio and navigation, and he was very helpful on the phone. This is my third Lexus IS, and I just love them

I got my Lexus Ct200h with their pre-owned dealership, dealer was nice, and get a great deal with the car.After a month I come back to edit my review. They got great dealer, but the service is horrible. I went to the service center because I smell there is a dead animal inside my engine, and I just want to remove the dead animal. But the advisor told me it’s better to replace some stuff due to smelling. But when I go back home check the paper work, I saw there is “customer requests” for replacement that I never ask for. Interesting place making nice businesses.

While traveling from Scottsdale AZ to visit our daughter in Carlsbad, we decided to stop by Carlsbad Lexus. Even though we had our 3 dogs with us, the lease on our 2015 RX was coming to an end so we wanted to view a GX460. We were greeted by Jose Martinez who fell in love with our fur babies! We went on a couple test drives while our pups were in good hands at the showroom and decided to lease another RX350 but the L version this time. The financial manager Jeff Curtis was a great sport with my negotiating (I love to do that) and just when I thought I’d have to walk out to meet our daughter for dinner we came to an agreement! We love our new RX350L Luxury color; Caviar with black interior! Just love this showroom, its an experience. I was there with a client of mine, checking out the meeting facilities to hold some seminars at this location. From the fountains lining the entrance, the Lexus Technology Room and the Vantana Restaurant on site, you could spend a whole day there. Its a true Lexus experience and a great place for business meetings, workshops, seminars etc.....

Okay don’t get me wrong, I love Lexus and truly respect the brand BUT this Lexus dealership is terrible when it comes to service. I have been a prior customer with my other 2 previous Lexus vehicle for 4+ years, so it came to me as a surprise when I took my LS460 in about a week ago. Apparently my Lexus “VSC system was broken” so it would cost me 2600-8600 to replace... It truly was on my part I left the gas cap unscrewed slightly so the “check engine” light was on and the “cruise” control wouldn’t engage but I truly believe either the mechanic is an idiot to claim I need a new VSC system costing me an arm and didn’t bother double checking the gas cap or this dealership is a straight SCAM when it comes to service. So essentially I took my car in for a 168 dollar car wash because they didn’t do s*** in diagnosing it. I’m starting to smell something funny when they tell me my front suspensions are going to be 12k with service...NEVER COMING BACK.

First let me say that this review is on service, not on a purchase. I bought my Lexus LX from Lexus CARLSBAD in 2016. It’s was about $100k for the SUV. I love it. I have done all my service there, including tires, since I bought it. 3 weeks ago I had my 60k service done for about $1000. They told me I needed 2 new tires. So they ordered them and last week I had them installed. My tires run about $500 each. I went in today because I have a nail in one of my tires. All of which have been bought from Lexus CARLSBAD. They wanted $52 to fix it. Nobody else, including Costco charges to repair a flat on tires you buy from them. There are even places that will repair your tires for free even if you didn’t buy from them. I am now at Big O tires getting my tire fixed for $30. It’s also where I will be buying my tires in the future. I realize that by going to Lexus CARLSBAD for service, I am paying more than I would if I went almost anywhere else. I get a very nice loaner when I’m getting service. But I would expect them to at least be able to match Costco in quality of services. I will go back to Lexus CARLSBAD for my next car. But I won’t buy tires from them again and am considering doing my service elsewhere.

Felix Nighthawk Giles (Google him!) was incredible and not even close to the best salesman I have EVER dealt with at a car dealership. Why? Because we wasnt trying to make a sale, he was making a conversation.I came in simply looking for potential 4 door sedans once I was done with my Grand Cherokee lease. I was considering BWM M3s, Q50s, and a few others. He listened to my needs / wants, and he said I know what youre looking for... GS350 F Sport.I loved the GS 350 F Sport. The aesthetics alone matched my current Jeep with white paint and black rims. SOLIDHe was patient and negotiated fairly. Deal done.Then we moved into finance where I worked with Bob Wehbe. Again, another smooth process and very easy transition. Bob was personable and forthright which I appreciate.I really cannot express how genuine and helpful your entire team was. Felix is a good man and I have already raved about my experience with him to my friends and family. Bob was a pleasure as well and as honest as one could hope to be.What a pleasure!

This is my third Lexus from Lexus of Carlsbad and most likely my best experience yet. My current lease was due and I was undecided upon what vehicle to get. We met a sales professional by the name of Walid Doumit. He was so patient and never pressured us in any way. We drove several cars before coming to a final conclusion. Each time the sales manager was able to run numbers so we could compare lease payments. They let us go home to weigh over the options and we came right back to get the right car.By far this was the best car buying event I have ever had and I get a new car about every two years. We have three different Lexus vehicles. We dropped off our vehicle with a half tank of gas. When we picked it up, we noticed it only had a quarter tank of gas. We had to speak with a manager to get the gas replaced. We also noted that they had left one of the tire rims off of the vehicle. When we called them the same day, they tried to say that the car had been missing one of the rims but since we knew that this was not the case they finally agreed to replace the one they had misplaced. They are supposed to pick up your car and leave you a courtesy car but they have discontinued this service. This dealership used to be really great. However, it has really declined in the last few years. Greg is the service manager we dealt with but I could not recommend him.
