We found an old piece of coral at the back of a consignment store. It was stuck in some kind of kids’ rock hard putty. After we cut it loose, we took it to Rob at Michael’s, and told him what we envisioned. He knew how precious the piece was to us, explained how they would mount it etc. and …… guess what!?!It was ready on the day promised, and was even more beautiful than we expected!We are thrilled!Rob even helped me carry it to the car, and told us to hire a professional installer to mount it in the studs for safety reasons.If we could give 6 stars we would.

The fun selection. I just bought a wooden castle that opens up to explore the rooms. Would be awesome for a child to color and decorate both the outside and inside but I am using it in my bird aviary! Lucky birdies.

Girl at checkout helpful as well. From my receipt store # 1290 on Via Montebello is my new go to. Worth the drive.

This Michaels near La Costa & Rancho Santa Fe has EVERYTHING and I mean everything. It certainly gives Hobby Lobby a run for their monry.There was nothing I could think of that they didnt have whether it be Stencils for glass etching, nippers for mosaics, beads galore, jewelry display items, glittery blingy key chains and badge lanyards, etc.

Called tbem and ask if they would hold some canvases for me and they did. So nice there cant wait to go back lots of sales.

Liked very nice customer service. Great prices on weaths you make yourself. Ornaments especially wooded light up were wonderful. Gave 4 stars only because 1 female was a little bit rude. I needed a little assistance. 1st time customer instead of showing she pointed.

Got some good deals on nearly gone Christmas floral! They always have Christmas stuff discounted way before Christmas. I bought some nice quality velvety poinsettia bouquets and a garland.

Good social distancing, found what I needed.Poor customer service, I was the only person in line with 2 sales clerks, each had a customer. 1 sales clerk opened up so I expected to check out, but instead the sales clerk checked out, leaving me to wait an extra 10 minutes. I watched as that sales clerk just roamed about not really doing anything. Oh yeah, I only had 2 items and could have been on my way in less than 5 minutes. I know your thinking this happens all the time, but Id rather be in and out during this time. Micheals you can do better.

I used curbside pickup and it worked great this time. Definitely better than last time.They have 4 dedicated spots at edge of parking lot.

They always have a wide selection of items. All labeled well. They do change the store around to keep you shopping for more things. But, I dont mind that. I like finding new crafts and art kits to do.

The La Costa Michaels is much better organized than the Encinitas Michaels. I had a list of Christmas items I needed for a display, one being plain garland...of the 5 things I needed they had 2. I was disappointed..I know if you shop to late theyve sold out.

Michaels is Michaels. A lot of great things to look at. A lot of creative ideas. Sometimes prices seem too high. Almost always not enough employees that can help you or answer a question.

This Michaels tends to be smaller than most but it is a nice little place. Being smaller it usually has less people which is nice to take our time and shop for my wifes needs.Everyone we have encountered has been knowledgeable about the different crafts, how to do this and that and always knows where something is or if its even carried. Even when my wife got the wrong sewing machine, they were quick and easy to swap, no questions asked and were in general awesome about the whole process.

Clean and huge store, ran by nice kind polite workers. love this store. always find what I need and more. items are of amazing quality

This is the BEST Michaels in North County! One of the biggest stores & Clean, bright &Well organized. Even the CLEARANCE aisle is organized! That says a lot! If you are a Michaels regular & have been to other stores then youll understand what I mean by the clearance being organized. I visit any given Michaels at least once a week (yes,I clearly need some help or friends lol) and have to say that I will go out of my way to come to the Carlsbad/La Costa store just for the organized clearance aisle. Ive been through other locations & had items have fall onto me-a bottle of essential oils fell and splattered all over my clothes while I perused the clearance piles. I no longer shop there. I always leave with more than I planned to and the guest service is always a quality experience.

Picture frames overpriced. You can get everything here from Amazon. DIY lamp section is interesting, but doesnt have many options.
