Really appreciate the help we received with our Class A RV and tow car. They were able to quickly figure out the problem with our power cable from our RV that attaches to the car. Our car battery was unable to hold a charge and they fixed the issue. Hard to find places to accommodate a 38 Class A RV but they had plenty of room to pull into the parking lot and around their shop. They also have propane...Very RV friendly.. Thanks again for getting us back on our journey.

Exceptional service through and through! When there was a simple mis communication, they helped me resolve it quickly. Great truck that proved a great value and capability. Very cordial people working the counter and the manager, Dave, was very professional. highly recommend.

Truck was changed to this location due to truck availability in the area. The reservation was for 7:30 AM but when I arrived the truck was not ready and the U-Haul app just said I had to wait until 9 AM when the location opened. No one at customer service could help so we just had to wait. When the place opened at 9 they were able to get me in a truck relatively quickly but there was no acknowledgement or explanation for why the truck was not ready or why I didnt receive a call to let us know to come at 9. I watched the man at the counter make a customer wait for so long to pay for moving straps that the man had to leave without the item. There appeared to only be one person working in the whole place and the entire time I was there he had what sounded like internal logistics support from U-Haul on speakerphone. This place was in chaos from the first moment I walked in and it is pretty clear that my truck was not available on time purely due to the negligence of the worker(s) at this location.

I own a small moving business and rented 1000s of uhauls over the past couple years and this by far is My favorite U-Haul rental location, all the fellas work hard and delivery GREAT customer service, wish all the rental location were this organized and friendly 💪🏽

The people we dealt with were rude and didnt listen to anything we said. Ended up putting our reservations under a family members saved information after we told them not to and what the correct information was. Also we were told what the total would be with the mileage expected. We ended up doing less then the amount we gave them but ended up getting charged 3x as much. Location will slam you with hidden costs and lie to your face, avoid at all cost!!!!

Worst service ever renting a trailer. Employee lied about not having a needed part, sent us another location, then back to Carlisle to find the same part on the shelf. Was rude on top of it all. Stay away from this place.

I rented from Shippensburg, and inquired about changing the drop-off location to Carlisle. Both facilities told me there would be a small penalty bringing the total from $82 to $98. I agreed to that, but then later saw that both facilities charged me their full amounts. They both told me that the original charge ($82) would be refunded. After a month, that never happened. Now they are claiming there was a $150 charge for changing the drop off location, which means they charged $150 for the penalty and $31 for the actual rental, which makes no sense.All in all, they will not provide any accurate information for what you will be billed. They will do anything they can to screw people over, especially in a pandemic. Great job u-haul! Youre consistently the worst vehicle rental agency! Never again...

I rented a 5x9 trailer. Lights needed an adapter. Fuses blew. Employee took another 10 amp fuse, it blew again and then she used one of our 30 amps..also blew. Said she couldnt rent to is because electrical system was faulty. I said maybe the trailer. She said it couldnt be because they rented it often. We also questioned the adapter. My husband went to auto store and bought replacement fuses AND a high quality adapter. Tested it on two trailers in the lot, no problem. The employee said she couldnt rent to us based on what she saw. Left there and rented from a uhaul in Allentown...they were amazing!!! Several employees, professional, quick and knew what they were doing. We had no problems because the new adapter worked. Go to a different location if you actual want good service!!!

My name is Casey Grove and I rented a 20ft truck to move recently. The whole process was fast and the gentleman inside was patient with us. I happened to go a bit over my time by an hour and 30 minutes and I was prepared to pay a fee as expected for most places. Shaun Jones, an evening employee there at the time, was there to check in the equipment and was kind enough to not put on that extra charge. This meant a lot to me since my family are really tight on money right now because of the pandemic. The understanding by the staff here is beyond what I was expecting and I was very pleased to rent from them and will come back if I have any need for any moving rentals I may need again. I am writing a review on Uhauls option to move via their U-Boxes. Please DO NOT choose this means of moving and storage of your belongings. Although the concept is appealing, the management of this portion of their business is extremely poor. Today was moving day and we were given a 4 hour window for the Boxes to be delivered! Thought that was a bit much but we were told there was no way to narrow the window of time. We were also told that they could not provide the delivery drivers contact information, so when it passed the 3 hour mark and still no contact by Uhaul, we called the main number. We were told again that we couldnt have the drivers contact information and that we needed to wait for the driver to contact us, waited the last hour with still no phone call from Uhaul. When the delivery time window of 4 hours passed we called again and were told that we should have contacted the delivery driver???? What? Its now 12:30 in the afternoon, first they said they had no way to contact the driver, then they said the driver would be calling us shortly which did finally happen only to be told it would now be a 1:00 delivery time!! Really? Weve been waiting in an empty apartment since 8:30 this morning! Once the driver showed up it was another FIASCO to maneuver the placement of the Boxes, this driver was not equipped with the proper skills to run a forklift! After much guidance on our part the Boxes were finally placed and we could begin unloading at 1:45! Totally unacceptable! Not even as much as a courtesy call, many different excuses given including the drivers cry about fog this morning, did I mention the Boxes storage facility is only 10 minutes from the delivery location? REALLY??? Totally unacceptable! I would have given this ZERO stars but it wont let me, the only reason it gets one star is because after much deliberations the $150 delivery fee was waived but ONLY after the delivery drivers demand for an apology from my husband was met, yes, you are correct, I just said the delivery driver would not waive the fee until my husband apologized to her for his confrontation on the matter to which UHAUL was clearly wrong! Unbelievable! DO NOT USE UHAUL for their U-Box storage!

I have two excellent guys answer the phone today and one that service me. However, I called at 6:30 pm, this evening, 10/24/2020, and this guy name Shawn answered the phone. He was very rude. He acted like I was bothering him and gave me an attitude about asking him if there is any other trailers available and/or if I can stand the time of my trailer. He also was yelling at me and over me and finally hung up on me and didn’t help me. Also the trailer I received had a flat tire. I will never use this Uhaul in Carlisle again.

RENTED A UHAUL AUTO TRANSPORTER THAT BROKE DOWN IN CARLISLE PENNSYLVANIA, CALLED THESE PEOPLE UHAUL Moving and Sforage of Carlisle to ask for help with a broken rim and busted tire. Employee was Rude, Had a Poor Attitude and began using Profanity unbelievable!!!!!Never offered any help to repair one of they own Customers with broke down Auto Transporter.Do not rent from these people they Not willing to help you if their equiptment fails. They will only not be helpful but will use profanity to get rid of you!!!!Need to remove busineses that function poorly like this

Truck I was given had headlight out, food trash in cab, reaked of cigarette smoke and had an alignment problem that pulled the truck to the right. Employees wore no masks and do not disinfect trucks between uses.

I have always had an excellent experience at this particular U-Haul and this most recent visit was just as pleasant! Theyre great people, very friendly and quite knowledgeable! I will continue to visit this location not just because its close to me but simply because of the level of service I receive and the quality of product as well as their good prices! 👍 👍

I was very happy with the ease of reserving a moving truck online, and that I could pick it up before business hours just with my smartphone. But here I am an hour before the store opens, trying to pick up the truck and my account says a piece of equipment has not been assigned to you yet. Now I have to waste time waiting for an employee to open the store and assign me a truck. I will post a 2nd review once my experience truly begins

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!!!!!!! ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS RENT A TOW DOLLY SO I COULD GET HOME! THE ONLY PERSON WORKING WAS COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT! not only did my brother have to wait over 30 minutes just to get some help but Clayton W. couldnt even do that! Over 45 minutes passed before i finally voiced my opinion. At which point I was told that not only was the store manager on vacation but the assistant store manager wasnt even receiving phone calls how ridiculous is that on top of that even though I know my Ford F150 is fully capable of towing the broke down vehicle it is ridiculous that Im gonna have to drive 25 minutes out of the way to rent the same tow dolly that I could have rented at this location absolutely ridiculous do not waste your time and do not waste your money !

Do not even consider renting from Budget. I did and the morning of my long distance move they had no trucks. I went to U Haul and got a practically new truck and excellent service. It was more expensive but well worth it. I am a customer for life.

They forgot to give me my blankets and when I called to have the charge removed, I was told that wasnt possible. BUT, they sent someone to d eliever them instead. Awesome customer service!

Im giving it a one because workers work there butts off and not to mention already a full time job. So if people complain because they have to wait its not their fault as there is ONE person working. My husband works a lot of Fridays ( working about 15 hrs adding first job) and he is lucky if hes out or closed by 8:30-9:00. Really need to hire other part times.

Evrything about thos place is good. Once and awhile you have to wait in line but thats the American way.

My husband and I have rented trucks from them in the past and it was alway a good thing . But this is why they are awesome, we wanted a hitch put on my van, we messed up and forgot about the appointment and when I went in the the man was SOOO NICE AND UNDERSTANDING !! He could not do my van today but he made a call and made it so that I could go to another U-Haul and they took my van right away .. It was our mess up and he fixed it . Thank you .
