Steve is an amazing artist! He has such a light touch and does incredible work! The shop is super clean and the staff is really comforting! I’ve had tattoos done by other artists in other states and I’ve always returned to Steve to have them fixed. He recently did a cover-up on my back, over a tattoo that I’ve had for 20yrs...I love my new tattoo and can’t even see the old tattoo. I even have strangers coming up to me complimenting his work. I went in to get my septum pierced today and this will be the last time I come back. the man who did my piercing was rude from the start. I left and started looking at it more and it was super low, barley on my nose. though I was told to come in later in a month to get it redone for free I’m not sure I want too knowing what happened the first time. I was told the way my nose is that it could only be pierced that low.. doesn’t make sense and should have been informed that before the piercing was completed instead of being told that after I was unhappy with it.

Only place I will ever get a tattoo.... The owner Steve is very good and very light handed. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and will not pressure you to get something you dont want. They ask questions on positioning size colours and fonts

Wait was a little long, but staff working there was very nice. atmosphere of the shop is very nice as well. i loved looking through the tattoo/art books. id definitely consider getting a tattoo here once i know what i want. only thing is they did my piercing a bit too high.

I went there for a septum ring. Very friendly, nice variety, and I ended up walking out with two rings. Price was right..would definitely go back for a tattoo.

I went here for my first tattoo just recently and did not know what to expect because I had not had any yet. After talking to Steve about the process and the piece that I wanted done I was excited and knew I wanted to get it done here. He was reasonably priced, knew what I wanted and was very cool the whole time. Steve even had some suggestions to make my tattoo look more natural where I wanted it.I would recommend Hammer & Nail Tattoo to anyone and would gladly tell everyone where I got my artwork done. Clean shop, cool staff that cares, & overall great experience!

My husband and I have several tattoos from here. Steve has done all of his. Steve and Quan have done mine. They are fantastic! Great artwork, solid lines, and easy to work with. Their prices are fair for the quality you’re getting. Plus side, the shop was super clean. Definitely recommend!

First time getting a tattoo. Wasnt as bad as I thought and very professional and understanding.

Steve is the best. I happened to be traveling through and wanting a Viking tattoo. He did such an awesome job I will travel from Montana to get my next one from Steve.

I got my nose pierced here, and it was my first piercing besides my regular ear piercings. The guy I had (cannot remember his name) was super cool & made sure I knew how to take care of my piercing. The pain was pretty much nonexistent and he made sure my nose stopped bleeding and was okay before I was walking out of the shop. I watched him sterilize the equipment and make sure his hands and such were washed. Very clean place, nice staff and an excellent place to go for piercings. Will be back soon for more!

Got a tattoo done this evening and I am inlove with it and very happy that I went with this parlor definitely going back again!!

In my opinion they were high priced and seemed to hurry the piece. I had gotten a tribal piece and the person who was inking didnt have very steady hands, therefore my outlines were not very precise. Not likely I will go there again but that is only one person in the shop that I am speaking of and for the privacy of that person I will not divulge his or her name. On another hand the people are very friendly the shop seems clean. However if you go there I would suggest getting ink from the owner of the shop from what I understand he is quite good. Definitely do your homework.

If I could less then a star. Went and got a thin blue line flag on my right shoulder blade, and took Ron 3 hours to do it, it hurt so bad, and looks horrible. I wouldnt go back. I started going to drop of ink, and none of my tattoos took 3 hours, and I have big detailed tats. NEVER AGAIN!

Lexi rules! Shes super professional and will make you comfortable, which can be difficult when youre sticking people with needles! ! 10/10 would recommend her! The shop was clean and the other staff was super friendly!

Steve is the only Tattoo ARTIST that I will let work on me. Every time he has tattooed me has been a great experience. He is a professional and produces quality art. He expects and demands the same dedication from anyone working for him as well. Hammer and Nail is the cleanest and most hygienic tattoo parlor I have ever seen. The autoclave is routinely calibrated and maintained to produce hospital grade sterilization. Few shops dedicate themselves to this level of sterility assurance. I have traveled around the world, and wherever my travels take me I will always come back to Hammer And Nail.

Peircings are good. Fast simple and mostly painless. But for a tattoo they require a deposit just to book an appointment with them

I have six tattoos from hammer and nail (five original and one touch up). I couldnt be more satisfied with my experience with this shop. Ive been to other shops, (which explains the touch up) and i have never seen hammer and nails equal. I will definitely be going back.

Ive gotten tattooed and pierced here and both were good experiences.The owner gave my friend his start as an artist. So Ive spent a lot of time here and can say its filled with capable artists as well as great people.

Ive had 2 of my 3 tattoos done here, they are welcoming, clean and very personable. I was totally comfortable there. Everyone there does quality work.

I have been Tattooed and also pierced here several times by Steve. He is an awesome artist, very friendly. Along with his staff!! Very clean respectable place. They make you feel very combfortable. I have sent dozens of people here, and all have great things to say. I currently live in New Jersey now and still travel to have all of my body modifications done here.
