Service been good for the most part, but have had a couple bad experiences. Ill name one of the bad experiences, but they have been good for the majority of my shipments.Got there 20 minutes before their closing time on a Saturday & they had the door locked. Could see them working inside, but they refused to even look at us at the door.

Dont expect them to do anything well except take Amazon returns. I sent in a print job and 24 hours later the only employee had no idea, couldnt even be bothered to look up the order and told me to come back tomorrow.Nope. I went to the Printing Plant downtown and got the job done in five minutes. Thats the last time I use UPS for anything other than an Amazon return point.And after 40 minutes on hold for corporate customer service I initiated a refund and was told this store is NOT owned by UPS but is a privately owned business. The owners should be ashamed of themselves and if I were UPS I would drop them, for making them look bad.

I showed up to drop off a package at 8:15 am because they’re store hours said open at 8:00 am. I waited until 8:30 am thinking the employee must be running late. Still never showed up so I had to leave.

This location has nothing but rude workers, who act like legal agreements mean nothing. Let’s just say if the owner does not contact me to resolve this my lawyer is going to have a field day. By rude I mean beyond mean. Horrible customer service.

Honestly, im not a bad human and i try to find the best in people, even if they are rude and so on. But this associate at the UPS Store in Carbondale, I think she said her name was Michelle or something close to that, was just not a good person at all. I have never seen any person use foul language at their place of work as much as she does. Its very unsettling. Ive had another family member about a month ago saying that the girl that worked there in the afternoon was very hostile and behaving inappropriately towards her customers in person and talking badly about the customers she had talked to on the phone. My first time being in there she let a line form before she even got up to the counter from being back by their computers on her personal device. That was from when I went there the first time, the second time was much worse. She had her coworker with her who i thought was a delightful and understanding person and she even apologized for the lash out that happened from Michelle with another customer. I was behind a few people in line as Michelle was helping one person her coworker with the really cool rose tattoo (I believe her name was Loren) was helping another person. Michelle just kept interrupting her coworker as she tried helping and answering loran customers questions as if she thought Loren didnt know what she was doing. I just thought that was very rude especially since michelle had a customer of her own that she was helping and she just kept leaving him to interrupt her coworker. You could tell loren was getting embarrassed and a little aggravated because Michelle was making her look and/or sound stupid. But the last time i went in there Michelle had seemed she was drunk or under the influence a little bit because you could honestly smell it on her and she was just rudely talking over her customers and using some very strong foul language and just overall more rude than she was the previous times i had been in that store. She even mentions and tells other customers that she is the one running the store and that she is the manager, which she is not and i hope will never come to that point because she would really make this place lose a lot of loyal and current customers. I also understand that things will get stressful especially at a job like this one, but it does not mean you can take your stress and/or anger out on your customers, which i have seen happen before. I dont mean to sound mean or anything but Michelle should be reprimanded or something because i see all these similar complaints and reviews on here talking about an associate and their behavior and im sure that associate is her. All the other associates that have worked there have been good people and have good customer service skills but Michelle seems to lash out at customers if she thinks their wrong or if she doesnt get her way about things. This is just my honest opinion and i hope the manager there(which is a lovely person by the way with great customer service skills) will take this comment and all these bad reviews and take action. I am only giving the Store 5 stars because of the employee that had to endure the heat of that place while giving great service! I watched him sweat bullets while just helping me with my shipping. I asked him if the A/C was working and he kindly replied with an adorable smirk saying not very well apparently as he wiped his glistening brow. I was in the store for 10 minutes with other customers and we all agreed that how hot is was in there. I myself couldnt wait to get out back into my car. Need someone to get that fixed asap.

I ship my high end guitars through the Store. I couldnt be more satisfied with the end result. All my shipments arrived at their destination in the condition they arrived at their store. The customer service is awesome. They refer to my instruments as my babies and guarantee that they will care for them as such. 5 stars is not enough.

I arrived at the location at 11:20am to find it dark and locked up. I double checked the store hours online to make sure I was not imagining them being 9:00am - 2:30pm (those were indeed the hours listed for today). I waited ten minutes and then checked google reviews to see that I was not the only person today who was facing the same issue. There was no note or other means mentioning that the store was closed for whatever reason. I left at 12pm when I was certain no one was coming.*On a side note I saw five other people come to the door with packages needing to be sent out who had to turn around with their unsent packages in tow.

I came to this location to return a package which was accomplished quickly. However the woman working at the time was very rude. She blatantly ignored a question from the gentleman ahead of me. I decided she must not have heard him, but when I tried to engage in in small talk she shut me down immediately. Having a harsh tone and ending the conversation as quickly as possible. This was not a pleasant visit. I hope something brightens her day!! Shes good at her job, but not very good with people.

I was disappointed with my service here. I paid for packaging, but she wouldnt package it right away. Someone left a personal travel bag at my house, I asked if she could package it right away as it had their prescription meds in it, she said no. There were no other customers in the store... After waiting 10 minutes for her to process the package I gave up and had to pay an extra 5.00 to have it put in a box to ensure the property was secured. She gave me a story about there was no way she could steal anything because she was on camera. I didnt accuse her of stealing anything, I just wanted the property secured. I even offered to put the bag in the box myself... The post office does this for no extra charge. I will not be back.

Very sketchy staff. Their Google page are riddled with fake 5 star reviews. Check pictures for proof. If my review gets removed Ill simply reupload it. I will not be silenced until I get compensation. My friends iPhone X (a $1,000+ phone) that arrived was damaged during shipment so he went to this very UPS Store to return it to Apple. A guy working there was the one who took care of his package and shipment. After 2 weeks Apple never received the package. The tracking number he received wasnt working and incorrect. He went back to the store to sort this issue out and was dealt the pleasures of talking to the guy who previously handled his package. The employee said he couldnt do anything about it and there was nothing he could do. With suspicion, my friend DEMANDED proof that he shipped out his package. The tracking number he received was phony and led him to believe that this employee stole his phone. The employee became hostile and aggravated. This led to nowhere and my phone was short an iPhone X. I figured it was just his bad luck until this happened to me. A week ago I sent a package of expensive electronics (around $900 worth) to a friend. The guy who handled my package was the same guy my friend described. He wasnt the friendliest and seemed extremely agitated. Clearly he didnt want to be there. The package was supposed to arrive at my friends address two days ago. I checked my tracking number is came up with 0 results. The package simply went missing. A very similar issue my friend has had in the past. When I tried to get things sorted out with the employee it went nowhere. Sound familiar? The employee was extremely disrespectful and rude. After some investigation I found that very employee wrote fake reviews on Google giving him lots of praise and 5 stars. He used fake accounts, with fake names, with pictures that can be found on Google Image search. Absolutely artificial and scummy. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! Will be taking legal action.

The store is nice and one of the staff members was pleasant . But the staff member who was working with me on my order said something very unprofessional about a disappointed customer after that customer left. This same staff member was also smarmy with me when I asked for an estimate on my shipping (I dont know, I will have to look it up, ok?...I dont know the number off the top of my head.) Well, ok. I didnt expect you to. Yikes. I wont be back.

Five stars to the sales associate at the ups store Saturday July 21st!! BUT zero stars to the store owner! I was debating on whether or not to leave a message, but this situation was heavy on my heart so here it goes. On saturday July 21st, I walked into this ups location and the moment I walked in I smelled urine immediatly. I could see the young woman in the back lining the floor with garbage bags. She greeted me kindly, when I ask why she was lining the floor her response was the toilet over flooded last night ... LAST NIGHT! Why has this store owner not call a plumer? Why is the store open? Why does this store owner feel its acceptable for employees and customers to walk into a store that is flooded with toilet water? I adviced the young lady that she should call her labor law office because working under those conditions shouldnt be allowed. This poor girl is probobly afraid to loose her job. I am a business owner myself, I do not understand how some business owners can take advantage of the lack of job opportunity (Carbondale is slowly loosing alot of businesses due to the low enrollments at SIU) therefore forcing people to work under horrible conditions because they simple want to pay their bills and have food. Needless to say, I did not ship my package there. I did not want to take the chances of my brand new 1 week old grandbaby receiving her blanket from me with it smelling like urine. I hope by the time corporate receives this message that the toilet has been fixed and the rugs in the back pulled up, and the owner of this store fined or repremanded some how so the employees nor the customers would have to subject themselves to such conditions ever again. Considering the circumstances the young woman was very kind and deserves a raise in my oppinion. Not only was she kind and helpful despite having to work all day by herself on a saturday in a store that smelled like urine, but she was lining the floor with garbage bags so the customers packages would not get soaked or smelly.

Dropped off a package and it was still sitting in The UPS Store a week later. They charge $3 extra for accepting FedEx packages but they are not even an official FedEx drop-off and they do not have regular pick-ups. In fact, they do not even attempt to schedule a pick-up. They just wait until FedEx happens to come by to drop off a package. Terrible customer service. I had to call FedEx and ask them to pick up my package. I wont use this place again.

Brad had poor service and was very disrespectful to my elderly grandmother who simply wanted a fax done and he helped other customers while we waited just to tell us it didnt go through. What happened to FIFO, you know first in first out. Brad seemed very impatient, but hey I understand people have bad days but me or my grandmother will never return. Im from Chicago and Im used to attitudes but Brad does not seem like a good fit for customer service which puts you face to face with customers and he should know by now how to treat people especially senior citizens with respect. Brad was even going to call the police because I took my grandmother defense. Dont know what he was gonna tell the cops, that we were upset with his service. Anyways, there are more options for printer services its just a inconvenience because she lives so close to this location. Highly dissatisfied.

This is the worst service I have ever received. In December I ordered a bassoon case from a company that sent it via UPS. Ups delivered it to the wrong building. They even described that they left it under a black grill, which I do not, nor anyone in my building, own one. So the company contacted them and sent me a new one which I did receive. So 4 months later, I get an email from this company stating UPS told them that both packages had been received by me and that I owed them the 150$ for the second one sent. I still have not seen the first one, so the company reopened the trace on the first package last month, and I was told Id be contacted by UPS about it and to not contact them because it would mess things up. So almost another month later, no contact from ups, I get an email about how UPS said they delivered the first package and I acknoledged that I received it. So here I am screwed out of $150 because UPSs incompetence and straight up lies to the company that sent me the package.

I drop off prepaid packages almost every week due to my line of work. Im never greeted or addressed. The employees speak to one another and generally ignore the customers other than printing receipts for the prepaid packages.
