One star is to many, but you have to select at least 1. Came in to pick up a phone order. As the girl behind the counter was filling it, with out tongs or gloves on, and her mask pulled down below her nose.She picked a raisin out of a raisin bagel with her fingers, pulled down her mask and ate the raisin. Then tossed the bagel back in the bin. During these times, and any time I find this unacceptable. This was my first time at Main Street Bagels on 41st street in Capitola and will be my last. Also there was no social distancing enforcement.

The pricing is completely arbitrary and way too high. I was charged $7 for two sesame bagels with butter, which is much higher than advertised. Even the advertised price was high given some places charge around $2 for the same item. Regardless, when I asked about it the cashier just shrugged it off as this being the price. I didn’t want to get into a debate over a couple of bucks but want to warn others that you might want to avoid this place. The bagels are pretty dry too. The Bagelry is much better.

Easily my favorite bagel shop in town. Theres actually two shops that are half the distance this place is, but they make good food and have a great attitude!

One of the few surviving bagel places in the area, average service and product. The cost cutting measures are also pretty visible with the thin layer of cream cheese youll get and the only napkin dispenser in the place hidden beside the register.

Toasted jalapeno bagel w cheddar cheese butter tomato and onion $5.50. (the veggie sandwich clearly is 4.45 on the board...Okay hope its good. Turns out they are cutting food cost here. When finally received my cold bagel I got barely any tasteless margarine, one piece of cheese, an orange slice of 🍅 and a large handful of onions. The only thing they didnt screw up was the bagel part. It mightve been good if they didnt screw up every other ingredient. Oh yeah and when I went to get a side of butter she was very reluctant to give it up, I had to show her the dry thing first... But I persevered, only to find there is no silverware! Basically the only way I wouldve wanted to write this more is if they put a gun to my head and made me write this. Anybody want some onions?

The best bagels in town, the different kinds of cream cheeses make a big difference 😋. My favorite it the strawberry cream cheese. Also ordered the bacon breakfast bagel it was fire 🔥!

Be careful. CHECK RECEIPT!! They will overcharge you if they think you are not paying attention. They charged me $5 for a cream cheese bagel (less than 3$ on their menu). This place is already over priced, but thats okay I consent to that price when I make a purchase. They get 1 star because of the stealing. Also they have a lot of hidden fees (this time they definitely over charged and it wasnt hidden fees. I confronted them about it AND THEY ADMITTED IT). Careful check you receipt. Also their are other bagel shops not to far that are much cheaper. I live right next door and REALLY wanted to like this place, but I think overcharging people is stealing and they have a pattern of doing this. Very disappointed.

Anyplace that has pumpernickel bagels is put a few notches up on my list. Finding the elusive pumpernickel can be a challenge. I was excited that they had a bagel for me. As that is all I had was a buttered pumpernickel bagel, I cant speak to the menu that looked good to me. The people were flowing in and out promptly and the place is clean with lots of choices. oh yes I grabbed a perfect banana too and enjoyed my simple breakfast. thank you Main Street Bagel.

Oh my my..1st i should say that a woman who seemed to be the owner or manager who ran the register and took the orders was really cool.The bagels not very good. And super expensive. 2 bagels i added avocado, onion and 1 other thing. DRYYYY. Hard and the egg was microwaved. Bad news. I wont be returning there again. Sorry. I wish i had a better report.

Its aight. People working there are supper nice but egg was not amazing and it was american cheese on the egg bagel sandwhich thing, but the bagel was bomb so Ill be back to get a regular bagel

I usually order 2 dozen bagels for the office. This place is the best Bagel in town. Just get the bagles. so fresh in the morning.

Dont expect to get fresh eggs if you order eggs on your breakfast sandwich. You will get microwaved eggs. The bacon will also not be fresh, but it did look like it was cooked earlier in the day and was not of the Frozen variety

Amazing fluffy bagels and amazing strawberry cream cheese

Horribly rude and unnecessarily aggressive. Bagels are mediocre, but average food can nearly always be made more enjoyable when good customer-facing employees are at the helm. I really dont have anything positive to say about the place.

Great food, but I doubt I will be going there again after seeing the cashier handling money then right to handling food without washing. This is a clear lack of understanding on proper hygiene practices.

Watch out. They will try and rip you off. I have been charged a different price, for the same item, every single time I’ve been. Save your money and go to coffeetopia instead.
