I wish they had better customer service. Prices are high and do not take the time to tell you why exactly they are recommending a given service.

This shop has not only abandoned the ‘over and above’ concept of customer service... they have perfected ‘under and below’ expectations for service. The smallest question is $175 to diagnose and good luck from there. Every dealer will wash the outside of the car by default after service - not Toyota Santa Cruz.If you are covered under warranty, you are stuck with them. But don’t spend your money with them for anything else.
Good service and its wonderful having them provide the free shuttle. its also really nice to have your own service coordinator assigned to your case so that things can be explained well to you. However, they take longer to do service than some other places because theyre trying to work on a lot of cars at once to get the most financial gain from their service center. For example, an oil change can take a number of hours
Staff was friendly and service was done before the scheduled time. Lots of space to sit and wait and they even offered to give me a ride to and from work.
I bought a used Sequoia. After 2 months the battery was dead. They replaced the battery with no charge! Excellent service!
This is really a difficult one for me, because I like Toyota vehicles. This review is more about what did not happen and what should have occurred. About a couple of weeks ago I took in my Toyota van to find out how much it would cost to fix. It had a very weird noise in the valve area and I knew that Toyota has issues with the cams, and they quoted me $1100 to fix, I let them know that I had already replaced the valve cover gaskets and everything involved there like the spark plug gaskets etc. well apparently they heard that as I wanted the valve cover gaskets replaced. This will come into play later, after giving me the $1100 quote they call me back a couple of days later and they tell me you need a new engine! Which I know I dont, they just wanted to cover all of their basis. And I understand that being a dealership. So I asked the guy on the phone okay so how much is going to cost me for this estimate. And to put everything back together the way it was which I dont know what they did actually, because on the receipt it said customer requested valve cover gaskets, I did not request any gaskets I was letting them know that I had already replaced them they were brand spanking new. And how much did they charge me for that? 900 freaking dollars.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I was a service technician for several decades and before we used to do work on anything we would give the customer a quote and we would get a signature, I guess Toyota doesnt do that anymore, is really too bad because I feel like Im never going to use them again ever and I will be telling everybody I know about it dont take your car there take it somewhere else, because they are just going to rip you off. There now the reviews finished.
If youre into smarmy old white guys pushing your boundaries and trying to sell you on unnecessary services, this is the place to go. Also, everything that I have a reference for at my normal mechanic costs $75-125 more here.

Ive had nothing but excellent service here. The only reason Im not giving them 5 stars is because I just recently bought my 4Runner and I havent had any real issues with it, so I cant say for certain how theyd do with anything other than regular maintenance. Every service tech Ive met has been incredibly friendly and helpful, and they even WAS YOUR CAR if you ask. One of the few places that dont talk to you like an idiot when they realize youre a female.
Complete disappointment is all I can say. This store used to be great, not sure what has happened to their service! Moving our 3 Toyotas from Santa Cruz Toyota to Stevens Creek Toyota for service.
They know what theyre doing, they do it fast, and they do it right. Keeps cars in proper maintenance and removes any doubt about reliability. Shuttle service is friendly and useful for heading home during a repair. Quality, efficient service.

I drive my Trucks over to there from San Jose as they have the best service department. I buy my trucks and have them serviced there. Learned the hard way through the years that this is the best place.
First time I went there for scheduled maintenance on my spouses car. The customer service office is a small open-style compartment in the garage right next to the cars waiting in line. Kind of cold and impersonal. I found the service person more interested into making some money and speeding up than taking the time to explain everything in English terms I can understand. Ocean Honda is doing a much better job for my own car..
Abysmal shuttle service. I called Toyota, was transferred, then put through to a person who would schedule me a ride. But had to leave a message on a voicemail. No phone call 15 minutes later, so called again. Toyota then scheduled a ride to Enterprise rental company, and said it would be about 20 minutes.They have a nice web app to track progress. I did so, and when the driver approached my exit (about four blocks away) it showed me as having been picked up, and did not refresh at all.After ten minutes, called Toyota again asking about a ride. Voicemail again. Enterprise closed, leaving me and quite a bit of work gear on the street.Eventually they called me back and scheduled a ride again, very close to closing time. And didnt apologize.I was picked up, got to dealership repair, picked up my Tacoma, and headed out. So not exactly pleased with service.

I always go to toyota for my 5000miles service, i am a high mileage driver so i go there every 2 1/2 months, they always forget to do the carwash after the service then on my last visit last month they didn’t refill the water on my wiper fluid so i am wondering if they are really doing the routine check.

Good service, not many choices. It can be very expensive. Expect to spend $1,000 every time you visit.
The toyota service center has been great so far. I have only taken my car in one time for its 5k servicing so my experience is not much, but I will update as I go.The service rep sent me a text message as soon as my car was done, and it only took 20 mins of the hour they told me I would have to wait.
