Ive bought 3 guns here now and the knowledge and service is top notch.They were willing to work with my budget and I was able to purchase A Kel Tek Sub200 in 9mm I otherwise wouldnt be able to afford.

We have been shopping around for a Hellcat pistol for a few months. We have been from Nashville to Cape and Shooters had the best price. They beat every other gun shop by at least $200.00!! Our purchase was smooth and we didnt have any problems being Illinois residents. We will go back to purchase a second pistol soon.

The staff are always friendly to me and very knowledgeable .. I find gun items and guns that most other gun shops never have and so far they are not scalping prices like other gun shops in the area.. I love this store and they will always have my business!

Nice place and friendly shop staff. A little low on stock but so is everybody in gun business. Price was reasonable at this time and scirmstances being what they are.Yes I will be usins their services again.

Worst firearms store within 100 miles. Unfriendly and most expensive out of everyone in the area. JSE, Absolute Arms, Drums and even Swains (despite low stock) have better prices (guns, ammo, accessories) and far better customer service by miles. Will never be buying from here again. Pretty sure theyre prejudiced in some way.

Was there one time a couple years ago. May have been a bad day and was almost closing time. The women was very rude when I ask if they sold hunting license. Was also looking to buy a deer rifle. After meeting her I left and have never returned. Things like that may be why they have such a low like score.

Its obvious that this gun store has its fair share of customers with little or no knowledge of guns, or the gun market. I found Shooters Gun Shop a very competitive store, with a pretty sweet selection of pistols. The prices were better than many places Ive shopped, from MO to TN. If I lived in here, I wouldnt shop anywhere else.

Theyve got a lot of stock for reloading and others. For reloaders, it seems like youve got either Academy or Shooters to choose from locally. Im giving it 2 stars because I listened to the workers there talking about how they wouldnt sell to individuals based on their political beliefs and saying some pretty awful things about them. Quite frankly, thats distasteful and unethical. Not to mention, their attitude towards me, presumably because I wore a mask, was pretty poor. I was basically ignored by the staff. There was a fella making conversation with me about the different equipment but I dont know if he worked there.These are bad times and people who are divisive like this are whats wrong with the country. Ill be making trips to Cabelas or ordering online for now on for my reloading equipment.

When I walked in, I got a bad vibe from this place immediately. After making my way around the store, staring through the glass, staring at the wall, staring at many guns, my suspicions were confirmed. The staff acted as though they were too cool or too much of an expert to be of any actual assistance. On top of that, I find the prices on guns and ammunition to be quite exorbitant, with an obvious bias for pricey brand-new firearms and pricey manufacturers. For a shotgun community, their used shotgun section is substandard. Overall, my impression was this was an elitist gun shop, with elitist employees who probably only cater to certain gun manufacturers while bashing the rest and only cater to the wealthiest gun enthusiasts while ignoring the rest. Of course, theres no way to confirm this, since none of the numerous employees I passed attempted to even say, Hello, or Can I help you? I walked out of the place five minutes after I entered. Selection isnt the worst, but their service is, and Ive lived in a lot of places and visited many gun shops. Needless to say, I wont be back.

Customer service over the phone stinks

I was just in there. Asked how long it would take average to order a rifle. Guy starts to look it up then someone comes in to show off a model toy ship and I get blown off like Im not even there. Then phone ring and he answers it so toy guy leaves..ok understand answering the phone and then going across the store to find phone callers answer, But after hang up proceeds to work with another customer as Im standing waiting at the other end of the store. I was going to be ordering over $2500.00 in rifle and scope and accessories today from them. Nice job

Went in with the wife to check out the stock, Phil did not hesitate to help us explore several different options of the type of firearms we were looking for and was very knowledgeable in his field.

Ive shipped here on and off for a few years .its a hot and miss .Some of the workers are real nice and helpful. Over all not a bad place.

Like some of the comments on the reviews I share a lot of similar encounters. Ive been in there a handful of times and it is hit or miss. I either get treated badly because I have questions or they are somewhat helpful. After having a conversation with a guy at work when the subject of worst gun store came up he shouted out Shooters. I thought it was just a few bad encounters I was having but after hearing others with similar encounters I wont be back. But hey, maybe youll get lucky and catch them on a good day.

Way over priced staff really not helpful at all they acted like there better than other people. The reason I didnt buy a thing and never will from them even if they were the last place on Earth to buy guns.

Lots of nice products for sale here. From firearms to knives and all kinds of shooting supplies and hunting gear. Prices are decent on most things. Service though can be a bit rough around the edges at times.

Good proces on ammo, but prices on guns are outrageous

Shooters has a large inventory of guns and ammo. The staff were helpful in helping me with my selections. I was also impressed with the hunting clothing and gear that they have in stock that is geared towards women.

This gun store has an unbelievable selection. Great customer service and even more great prices. Definantly a must see!

I was meet when I entered and had personal service my 35 and found all my reloading gear and was out the door with a 10% discount. Prices a little high, but the service was worth it.

The workers behind the counter are discrimitive. They were helping everyone that came in the door except me because of the way I look. When I finally did get some attention they acted like I was speaking a different language. If I could rate my multiple visits with zero stars I would. Even last years visits when I met the owners, I was treated as if i were a terrorist. Thats ok AAA gunshop is 3 blocks away and they will sell you a gun and accessories, no matter what you look like.
