Nice overhaul but dont really have the deals other GameStops have had.

Garbage, absolutely Garbage. I bought a used XBOX and asked if I could see the item before purchase. I was told no. The item is best described as covered with Mudd. The desk player doesnt work and renders the item useless. I will be taking it back. I also bought a few games to later find out that they were cheaper new. This is a terrible business. Do not waste your money, poorly managed and run.

I mean its GameStop like what else can I say the people working in there were attentive and conversational and the store was clean we even bought stuff

The amount of money I have dropped at this store on collectibles, quite frankly, borders on insanity. Its a pretty dope store that allows people to fill the void of theyre lives with material items. Highly recommend.

The staff are friendly enough. Thats the only redeeming quality of this establishment. I had purchased the Pro membership about a year ago. The perks are a magazine subscription, $5 credit every month and bonus points when trading or purchasing.I had gone in to purchase a game recently and almost all of the used games were not in stock. This struck me as odd, given they are all tagged as used on the wall. I told the rep that i wanted to purchase a particular used game using my $5 credit. The gentleman told me that i could purchase the game and have it shipped directly to my home, but they couldnt vouch the $5. I asked if they could bring the game into the store, Ill pick it up and use my credit. No dice.I dont know why this is so difficult. Either stock the games and allow the credit or refund me back the money i cant use anyway.Also, good luck calling in.

First off I tried to order a PlayStation 4 Pro and the website told me it was in stock and that GameStop would let me know when it is available for pickup. After paying for it I waited and a few hours later was told that my order was cancelled with no explanation. Fast forward a few weeks and I had a PlayStation 5 in my cart online. When I tried to complete the transaction GameStop would not let me so it was lost due to GameStop website failing AGAIN! I will not be a customer here if this is how they are going to treat their customers and will be canceling my account.

The staff and store manager, Germaine, are awesome. I had a beautifully frustrating experience using Progressive credit at the store. The store manager was patient and kind with me and my family. I will definitely be back to shop here again. Thanks for all your help, Germaine!!!

Its a typical gamestop with one exception, the staff. I wish I knew the ladies name, but shes always super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I dont say this often, but she provides the type of excellent customer service that you can build a business around. Highly recommended.

Service is usually good at this location, but I went in today and asked for some pokemon cards and the lady looked at me like I asked her to help me bury my parents. Then preceeded to ignore me when I asked her the same question twice. Well I found some pokemon cards in the store. When I tried to buy them she was talking with another customer and pretty much refused to sell me them. Eventually I did get them, but there was no reason at all for the way I was treated. Kind of ruined my day honestly.

Love gamestop. But this place had nothing. I guess due to upgrades.

They had exactly what I was looking for. The staff was totally unhelpful. Just sat by the register helping on one. No one was greeted the 15 minutes I was looking at things. This is why your company is going bankrupt. You pay lazy people to do a substandard job.

My family has been going to Cape GameStop since they were in the mall. The staff is always very helpful & we will continue to be repeat customers.

I am literally sitting outside gamestop right now 12 minutes after they are suppose to open and they havent opened their doors. So I call and they let the phone ring for a while before sending it to an automated voice telling me they are busy assisting other customers. I have had this problem with this gamestop for years and its getting old. Its the same people who have been at it for so many years and they dont do their job right at all. If youre gonna run a store, run it right. Open on time and treat the customers with some respect. At the time of me finishing this, they still havent opened their doors. I don’t know who the woman was, but some blonde working the register had 4 people in the store. Because of the 5 person limit my fiancé had to wait outside. That’s fine I get it. But while I was there. I saw her kick an active duty service member out with her child, who was no older than 4 at most. There was one slot, because this was right after I left. Her daughter was way too young to be left alone either in the car, to go in herself, or to be left outside. The lady at the register was talking to the people she checked out for several minutes before I left about a dead iguana. I’ve been a cashier before. It’s fine to talk but when there’s a line, business comes first. And to kick them out because there was a very small child with her, while the worker talked to people who had no business being there anymore (they already purchased and were just chatting), that was irritating.

Customer service is great, you can occasionally find some good finds there (recently they had the physical special editions of a couple digitally only games for the Switch), but a lot of the time selection is limited.

Great store with a huge variety of games for every platform. I reserved an item online then called to make sure it would be held for me, the young woman was very helpful and answered all of my questions and explained the return policy. Will definitely return to that store if i need anything else.

Place looked nice but employees were just kinda standing around asked about controllers and the the employee that I asked sounded annoyed that they had to answer questions and eventually do something. When I knew what I wanted they all stood and looked like whos gonna help this guy and was more focused on selling me warranty then checking if I was a rewards member so I can save money.

Everyone is very helpful and they have a great selection of used games along many platforms.

I personally enjoy going to GameStop, but am also aware that a lot of people dont have a need for GameStop due to the physical game-market dying; more and more people are just downloading their games now, rather than buying a box and disc. It is nice, however, to by t-shirts, statues, and other collectibles here. My biggest complaint, and everyone elses, is the trade-in value being awful and the return policy being awful, as well. Go to Gaming Grounds in Cape or Jackson to trade and/or sell your games with that nostalgic-feeling atmosphere.

Used to be a great store, now kind of Meh. The selection is great prices are good especially if you buy pre-owned. Changes to their Power-Up Rewards program just might kill it though. Best Buy is showing strong competition for the loyalty of the gamers and just might win.

Its so stupid, I went in there and tried to get a game and also get help with another game that I bought from there because it was broken, and the worker there said well we cant help you if you wanted a better game you shouldve went to somewhere where they sell better games. THEY DIDNT EVEN HAVE A PS4 GMAE I WAS LOOKING FOR EITHER!!!!! Should have a better selection and better customer service....

There are many GameStop areas, but this one is good with service and helping you find what you need if you ask. They do have a small selection, but I think its worth it to drive by if youve never been to a GameStop!!

Affordable used games

Went here for a launch party that they told us about a week prior. There was no party, nor none of the things they had mentioned. The employees were very rude. Dave basically blew me off so we went to the Sikeston store were I spent $200 on the COD WW2 and merchandise. I wont go back into the Cape store.

You can find any game you are looking for and other merchandise as well consoles totes bags and toys you name it its there wouldnt recommend trading game in unless you dont care.
