The prices can be high but we find something awesome every trip. Theyve made excellent use of the space they have, everything is organized and easy to find and sift through, not to mention warm and inviting. The employees are always friendly and its one of the cleanest stores Ive ever been in.

This is one of cape Girardeaus best gems! Located downtown close to the river is this cute hole in the wall. When you walk in you are greeted by the friendly staff and the wonderful aroma of patchouli. Highly recommend this shop!

Hempies is an awesome little store with a lot of cool and unique items for sale. From incense to attire, Hempies is most def worth a visit. Its one of my favorite stores in downtown Cape Girardeau.

The staff and feel of the store has changed enough through the years, that it has become my last option. Ive been going since they opened, but there has been a few visits that werent ideal.Hopefully Ill get to update this after my next few encounters.

Super clean and a lot of options. Friendly and helpful staff. My only complaint is how pricey most of their stuff is. They refill lighters for you and have some deals. Altogether, Im usually quite pleased with my experiences here. Still probably the best place in town as far as quality and quantity goes.

Great place. Fantastic selection. They even carry actual plus size clothing as well which is unheard of in this type shop. The glass ranges from artistic and complex to simple and affordable. They have everything the modern connoisseur demands.

I walked in and was immediately greeted. Robert is the gentleman who assisted me. He was very kind and very knowledgable. Another gentleman was there (his name leaves me) and was able to answer any questions Robert was unable to. Both were super friendly and patient with me. Store is super clean and a good setup. Prices were competitive. I will be back.

Old Hippies for Hempies! Love this little shop! Lots of items to choose from, and even though not a large selection of tie-dye, a very good selection of tie-dyed clothing in many sizes. I have been in many of these type of shops, in several states, and each and every one of them is always a nice visit. You never know what youre going to find. Many nice gift ideas, and decorative items. The fragrance of incense in the air, is always a very welcoming hello, as you walk through the door, along with the staff being very friendly and pleasant.

Great vibe! Love this place! Me and my brother stopped in to check out their pipes and I was shocked at their selection and prices. This is now my #1 place for pipes. Its also the cheapest place Ive found good quality tapestries. Other than that if you are like me and just like places like Earthbound Trading but hate the prices, definately stop by Hempies!

Every time Ive been there the staff has been extremely nice and helpful. My first time there I asked for something the wrong way. One of the staff explained my mistake and I was back on track. They have a great selection of smoking utensils for the size of the store. Ive recommend this store to people before and will continue to.

Came in here today after eating lunch at Broussards, this place is amazing and the prices on merchandise are great. Got a beautiful tapestry for $20, if Id gone anywhere else it probably would have cost me about $40. The atmosphere is great and the workers are nice and energetic.
