Sea and Shore is great! This is not a chain, its is a locally owned marine supply store. The same owner has operated it for decades. You may feel ignored if you go in and browse, no high pressure sales here. The good news is if you need help or advice just ask and Dick will give you good advice on almost anything you need to know, if he cant, he will give you suggestions for stores or marine specialist that he knows and trust. Oh yeah, he stocks all the cleaning supplies, fenders, lines, bilge pumps, ectera, that you can buy at the fancy retail stores but at better prices. He will also order things for you if it is not a stock.

I have been doing business with the owner for over five years. He is extremely knowledgable about most aspects of boating AND is willing to share his knowledge with you. He is a genuine and nice person. He does not try to win you over with his personality. He doesnt have to. His store has lots of items BUT they are not arranged to be beautiful (so what???!!!). His prices are always less than West Marine--a store that, with the exception of one or two seasoned boating if you happen to catch one, is staffed with youngsters--most of whom barely know boats.

Wide variety of products. The ability to special order. Competitive pricing compared to national chains. Excellent customer service.

Excellent shop. I thought i needed a new pump but staff showed me how to open and clean valves instead.No charge!

This place confuses me. No sign on front of the building, for t last 3 yrs. Havent seen any advertising from here. The guy seems helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, doesnt say alot, but comes across as grumpy. I cant tell. Alot better prices than nearby West Marine.

My father purchased a faulty alternator for his boat brand new in a box which quit on him he is now unable to get the identical part or a refund would this be considered a low end scam. iPhone the establishment asked for the manager and got the phone hung up on me multiple calls afterwords we’re not answered it seems that taking advantage of all people in that area seems to be trendy
