AN AMAZING PLACE!!Saw them on the local news..Starting off with simple costumes and masks, they have a huge selection.Or, if youre into FX, there is stage blood, scars, scabs, and entire disfigurement possibilities for a REAL look of horror...Full outfits, accessories, or just add ons, they definitely have em...and they update their inventory all the time for the best selections.

LOVE this store! The employees are ALWAYS amazing, knowledgeable, helpful, & super sweet! And the young man who has a passion for the Nightmare before Christmas is the icing on the cake for SURE! Its a great place for costumes & much MORE as well! I look forward to visiting this store every year for Halloween & Christmas is super fun too! It makes playing dress-up all the more fun and takes ALL the stressful parts away!

Prices are sky rocket it was my last resort because of the prices. But the lady behind the counter with the cat costume sold us her costume my daughter wanted it, she walked us right to merchandise even with store packed. We spend about $300..The worker who was a witch was rude as hell. Five of us looking at make up, instead of saying excuse me she leans over us, walked in front of us, on to many occasions (honestly) in my opinion she only did this to us, why??? We were of color?? If my daughter was not with us it would of been a screen she is rude as F..

We stopped to get more additions to our Halloween costume and had a very personable experience experience nice selection good prices..

Love going here. They have various types of costumes, makeup, and accessories. Prices are reasonable and the employees are amazing. Plus, they are one of the only Halloween stores that are open year round. So, if you want a dress up party....you need to go check them out.

This is the only place to go to for any event that you will be dressing for in SWFL. Costumes for any occasion, ugly Christmas sweater party, Pirate fest, Halloween, any dress up or costume affair they have you covered. They have mass produced costumes to hand made costumes in stock. This store is amazing and the customer service is always excellent, owner is always there. The employees are usually dressed up as well, which makes it fun to bring the kids. We’ve even brought ours to events they have at the store always a fun time.

We loved shopping at the Red Headed Witches and not to mention its in an old funeral home. Crissy helped us pick out the perfect costumes for our party and helped us with all the accessories too. We love that they are open year round and have a great community presence. They have a wide variety of costumes and you dont need to worry about everyone else having the same costume as you. I dont like all the big costume stores that come only at Halloween and all have the same stuff. We have made Red Headed Witches our go-to store. What a great store!!!! I like to support local businesses if I can, even if they are a little pricier. However, even though these were higher prices, I didnt get good products from this store. I stopped in for some pirate materials. The face paint I got was a small palette and only one of the colors worked. I bought it so I could paint pirate tattoos on some kiddos. But only the red worked of the four colors (black, red, purple, and gray). Even when mixed, they were chalky and gritty. Im thinking maybe the paint was old? Was very unhappy with this product. See picture for the black face paint quality.I also bought a little gold tooth. I thought it was perfect for the pirate dress up but that didnt work either! (Also see picture). Its a tiny gold piece of metal. Its too hard to bend and didnt fit on any of my teeth (and I dont think anyones ever) - even when I used jewelry pliers to try and shape it. I thought it would be some kind of durable foil but nope. I asked at the register about it but the clerk said he didnt know anything about it. But now I know; its just a useless piece of metal.I thought about returning the items but it says right on the receipt all sales final so I doubt it would do any good.Edit: I spoke with the owner and she had me in come in to discuss this. I was given a refund on the items I brought in and I couldnt be happier that this business saw my review and righted this. Would recommend. Good service is always worth recommending! :D

The staff is AWESOME! They have everything you can imagine and MORE for Halloween or just a fun night youll want to have! The best thing about this store is they are open ALL YEAR ROUND! Im definitely getting my costume at the Red Headed Witches! And you should too!

This place is so much fun! A great selection for adult and kids. Crissy, an adorable redheaded witch, was extremely helpful and got me into each costume I chose to try on. I love the two amazing outfits I bought!! And dont forget to look at the great bling!

We have costume themed parties at our home a few times a year just for fun. Every time we come up with a good costume idea, the Red Headed Witches has something better than the idea we originally came up with! Customer service is far better than the rest! Would and have recommended to everyone who attends our parties!

Very nice shop i would recommend to anyone. I drove all the way from Port Charlotte to check it out for an upcoming event which they had a vendor at. Worth the drive for what i was looking for. Great service! You wont go wrong here!

Christie was a delight to have wait on me. Wonderful sweet personality, very knoledgble and beautiful as well. Great costume store. Be aware that parking is in back accessable through an alley way or from Del Prado Blvd. Google Maps directed me around the block to the alley way. But you enter the store from the front on Del Prado Blvd under the carport.

I like the store, lots of variety and fun environment. BUT, I would recommend openning the packages to see that everything is in order. I brought 2 costumes $80 and $60 plus accessories and had to stitch up tears, and one piece came without anyway to attach it to the costume! Very very disappointed.

Always has creative solutions that you wont find anywhere else. They have the basics of course, but if you want to stand out, this is place to shop.
