I took my daughter to this place. She needed a walker for the new baby. Places like this are special. She had forgotten her coupon and was disappointed because she had to get it and thus was going to have to pay full price. The staff member looked up her history, saw the discounts, and she was able to leave with paying only $9.00.The cashier did not have to volunteer to help. That is one of the reasons I recommend this place. That is customer care.

I went in to by a stroller for my new babes Ruth. I brought the stroller to the register. I used my left hand to hand the cash to the cashier. I received a receipt. I left the store. This is my review.Endearingly,🌮 Phillings Esquire

Only been here twice, but wont be back. When entering store there were at least four employees in front behind counter, not one of them said hello, welcome, nothing. I did not find the merchandise to match the prices. Meaning items were stained, faded etc. When checking out, again I found the staff to be rude. They were speaking to each other and could care less about the service being provided to their customers. If I didnt need that specific item I wouldnt have made that purchase, but I surely will not shop at this store again.

Had a good experience, only thing we didnt like is they didnt have any bags for the clothes. Definitely bringing our own bags next time now that we know

Took all these clean, zero stains, in perfect condition clothes (I would keep if I wasnt having a boy) but they wouldnt take them bc condition was dirty do these look dirty or worn out? The girls working here are very rude. Im 8 months pregnant and when I asked for help to get something down from a top shelf to purchase she acted so put out that I didnt bother asking for help again.Update, I went back to this store recently and they have hired new girls who were very nice and helpful.

LOVE this store. The pricing cant be beat unless youre yard sale shopping. They have a HUGE selection for tummy time mats but I do wish they had more activity centers. Those come and go so fast so first come first serve people!Small selection for cribs and high chairs but tons of clothes at amazing prices! Bought 13 cute outfits for $7 and some change on a sale day!Sit Me Up frog is $40 online but $22 here - just to give you a pricing idea. 💡They take just about anything back except humidifiers, anything that heats, etc.Check this place out before you buy it brand new. Tumny time mats, toys, rockers, swings, clothes, strollers, books galore.

Lots of options and great place to sell back!

7 years ago when I had my son this was a great place to buy second hand items. The prices were great. I am now expecting again and decided to pop in to compare the items from my online registry to the stuff they have there. The bassinets, swing chairs and cribs were all way overpriced for second hand. They give you peanuts when you sell things to them but turn around and try to make a huge amount of money. This issue takes a back seat to the fact that there’s a sign on the door requiring masks yet not one of the 6 staff members were wearing masks. Only 50% of customers were wearing masks. My family walked in and walked back out after only 2 minutes and I will not be spending a penny in there ever again. We were all masked. We are still in a pandemic people!!!!

What a place to save money.Row upon row of bargains. The clothes are clean and spotless, like new only a lot less money.You can bring things in and they will buy them from you for resale. Everything must be in top condition. My new to go place for children bargains!

My experience with OUAC was great! Dropped off some clothes for resale at 230pm and they immediately gave me a timeframe of 415pm. I got a good price for the items they took. So far have no complaints about them!

Nice lots of baby clothes. Bad thing is they dont have bags for the items you buy. You have to carry everything in your arms.

Large selection of assorted sizes for different ages and friendly employees. The store is clean, well lit, and selling quality wares.They take trade ins on used but great condition stuff for store credit which is a great deal and very helpful for growing families.I would recommend this store. I dont know if there is more than one but we went to the one on Pine Island. Happy Shopping!

FINALLY a secondhand store for children in Cape Coral! The only experience I had with Once Upon a Child was 8 years ago when my oldest was a baby. They didn’t give you an offer right then and there on your goods and I couldn’t drive around for three hours with a baby so I stopped going.Fast forward to now. I decided to sell some gently used items and thought I would give the new location a try instead of going to one of the competitors in Fort Myers. I am SO glad I did! They bought almost all of my stuff (3 big containers full) and said I could come back whenever worked for me that day to be paid/pick up any remaining items.The store is so immaculately organized and I was very pleased with their clothing selection. I’ve frequented another children’s secondhand store and have been repeatedly disappointed when they won’t take my new/gently used items but then when I got to shop, everything is worn and misshapen from the wash. The clothes at Once Upon a Child practically look new! I’ve purchased some great quality items for my soon to be born little one and also a swing. Keep up the great work guys!!!

Weve been here numerous times to get toys or clothing for my toddler and we love getting a bargain!It would be great if they made a rack for clearance items instead of trying to find them amongst the general rack items :-)Im about to bring things to sell, that will be a 1st, so Ill update :-) Hopefully, my 3 kids and I dont deal with a rude employee when we get there with a truck load of items... only per reviews of this happening... Ill just take my load to Puddle Jumpers, wherever that is, as another shopper advised :-)

Its a great place to buy pre-owned clothes and toys

This place keeps my kids well dressed, at prices I can afford. Their clothes are always in great condition and no one can tell my kids aren’t wearing new clothes. Plus it’s a great place to get rid of their clothes when they don’t fit them anymore.

COVID central. Employees, though polite, wear no masks, and customers are not required to wear masks--as a result, anti-maskers flock there. Wait until after the pandemic, but even then, do you want a support a store thats willing to do nothing to protect the community when the community needs it most? Pay a couple extra bucks and go to Walmart or Target, where masks are required. (8/15/2020)

Great Values and Friendly StaffMy daughter and I love selling her gently used toys and clothes. We also find great hidden treasures when shopping. We have even found great deals on American Girl! So happy to have this new location in the Cape.

Like new clothing (tons) and all kinds of baby items, all the way up to small bicycles. Their clothing items are meticulously separated by type, size, color and they had all of the school uniforms separated out front. Saved us a fortune in school clothes and shoes. But her favorite item she came home with was the pink cowgirl boots!!

Such a cute place and great service. I have been in 3 times and everyone Ive come across has been sweet and helpful. Everything is in great condition and very reasonably priced. If you sign up for their free program, you get text alerts for deals and get points for purchases made. Overall, if youre a bargain shopper like me and still want quality, this is your place.

Once Upon a Child is a great location for buying or selling used stuff for children. I say stuff because there is everything here! From clothes to books to rockers to cribs!My daughter is 8 monthes old and we use this location constantly. Why pay full price for baby stuff when you could pay a fraction for used stuff at this location.

When we had our newborn, we were given a coupon book, which had one for their business. Honestly was not expecting much just looking at the facade, but this place is a kids thrifting store GOLDMINE.They have tons of clothes for a bunch of sizes, and all the Knick knacks and everything in between you need. Newborn stuff? Got it. Bedding? Got it. Cribs, strollers, floor seats? Got it, got it, got it. The shoes section is probably the most efficient shoe section I’ve ever seen. Their toys section is IMPRESSIVE, everything from all the dolls/action figures, to the bigger Barbie dream houses, and educational things, I’m pretty sure I saw a power wheels in there in the other day, and I caught myself playing for a bit, I’ll be honest.They have all this awesome stuff because they don’t just accept all the stuff you donate. They BUY your unwanted stuff. Granted, they go through everything and pick and choose what they want, and make an offer, but the system obviously works.Also every single person in there is friendly and helpful! Good place for kids stuff

My mom and I just went there today and got 7 things for my baby brother for only $17! Great discounts. My familys very close friends shop there for their 5 children (all different sizes and ages) Although I wish they had better shoes, longer skirts, and clothes that are a little less worn down, its an overall great store.

Just horrible, it’s sad because in other areas they try to help people. In this one they try to scam everyone. I brought multiple big items and they were trying to only give me $70. How does that make sense ? I have no idea because one of my items alone they were selling for double that price. Just rude & uneducated, corporate should investigate them before they tarnish their brand and name.
