Steve did a great job! I went to another marine mechanic and they wanted $5000 to repair my motor. I went to specialty marine and he repaired it for under $1000, saved me 4 grand! I would recommend him to anyone. Thanks Steve

Most of these bad reviews have to be an organized slander campaign or something. This family owned business, Specialty Marine Repairs, owned and operated by Steve, the founder, has been in this location fixing boats, trailers and anything boat related for over 30yrs. Me and all of my family and friends have been going to them for all of our boat repairs and services forever, and no one that I know has ever had any complaints with their work. Combined, my friends and I have put a lot of hours on our boats thanks to Specialty Marine Repairs. It just goes to show you, you can’t believe everything you read on the Internet. Get a life! Who ever you are, and leave these good people alone. Specialty Marine knows their stuff, and that’s a fact! 30+yrs same location, same owner, fact!

Very professional. I was having issues with my boat motor and they told me upfront that it would be a day or two before they could get to it. I was in no hurry anyway. They called and told me what needed to be done and gave me an estimated cost and thats what they did. I am very satisfied and will continue to have my boat serviced here.

Not sure about some of these but I had an awesome experience here. Steve did a great job on my old center console. Pointed out problems i wasnt aware of. Upfront and on time. Would definitely recommend him!

Very poor service. Asked them to get the boat running it is an 85 Rinker with inboard. At first happy was cheap to get it fixed but when tried to start it no dice took it back and started it so left again and cant start it went back a 3rd time for them to say we just got it started you said nothing about it running huh? Really? why would i want it to start and not run seriously. Now they refuse to work on it period. Worse waste of time money and effort.

Horrible horrible horrible!!!!! Went in for water pump next thing I know 1500 dollars later. He fixed stuff I didnt tell him to. Added a salt thing to back of motor with out permission. No communication and no estimate. What kind of business owner are you Steve. I should of read your reviews and called the police like the other guy. I will never go there again and tell everyone about you.

WARNING. Stay away. Brought my boat in for one thing to be repaired, he ended up fixing things I never asked to have done. No estimate and no phone calls. Charged me $3000.00 for what should have been at best a $500.0 repair. Listed 20 hours of labor at $100.00 an hour. Ridiculous.

Ok so this guy did an amazing job fixing my yahmah motors! I would recommend him to everyone!! No shot he is the bomb!

Did an awesome job working on my yamaha outboard motor, trailer, axels and springs. Very courteous and professional.

BEWARE. Took my boat in for an 100 hour Service, ended up with a $2700 without warning had to call police, poor communication. Never called never gave me a written estimate. BEWARE BEWARE

Took my Merc 175xl to Steve with overheating issues, said it would be a few days, he let me know what he found. He was spot on, now it acts like a new one. Thx

Guys a rip off . He has a trick were he tell you to sign blank estimates to then right in them after you signed it .
