Bob, Megan, son, and team were responsive, flexible and provided a perfect high quality result. We got quotes from six of the top local marine builders. We also inspected docks built by each and by far Rusnels attention to detail and quality was unsurpassed.

Bob and daughter Megan were great from the onset! Bob came out on time to give us an estimate. His price was very reasonable considering we obtained at least 4 other quotes. We later changed our minds on what we wanted to do on the deck and Bob was quick to respond to all of our questions, provide us feedback and revised drawing with contract. We were not supposed to have work started until August of this year and suddenly the availability came for us to get the work done and within 2 weeks the job was done. His guys were professional, clean and did great work. I highly recommend Rusnell Marine. Great craftsmanship!

Our wooden dock had several boards that needed to be replaced and the entire dock stained. Instead of another season of replacing and staining we decided to go with a composite decking. We chose Wear deck but due to Covid and demand on the product, the folks at Rusnell set the expectations of a fairly long wait. They offered some alternatives if we didnt want to wait but since we werent in a hurry we chose to wait.A few weeks went by and true to their word a couple guys came by, removed the old material and installed the new decking. A couple things stood out. The first is that the fellows putting in the dock made sure we were happy with every decision from cleat locations to where the ladder went. The second is that the old decking had a span that was too far for composite decking. Instead of charging us more money to correct the issue, they fixed it and installed the new decking for the same estimated price.All in all a great interaction and excellent service.

I requested at many companies to have my boat dock built but Rusnell definitely had the best prices and qualities. Their job was professional, fast and with high quality materials. I definitely recommend them.

I got estimates from a number of dock builders in the Cape Coral area. Rusnells was the best and they were pleasant to work with. It turned out that my builder would not approve them as a contractor on my property until the house was done and I needed the dock prior to that so I had to terminate the project. I had given them a deposit when I signed the contract. After terminating the contract they refused to refund my deposit and stopped responding to calls and emails. Next thing I know, they sent an attorney after me even though they owed me money. After about 2 months of talking back and forth they offered to refund my deposit minus some charges for the work they did. I wouldve been fine with that if they had told me right away so it was entirely unnecessary to send an attorney after me. I had also planned on hiring them for further expansion of my dock after my builder was done but I definitely am not using them now. What started as a very good relationship ended in a nightmare.

He answered all my calls, the dock was constructed according to the proposal and finished in a timely manner Final inspection was completed immediately after the electrical inspection. My wife & I could not be more happy that we selected RMC as the contractor for our dock replacement / rebuild. From the time Joe walked onto our property to discuss our project, good feelings re: RMC followed.Briefly, the project was scheduled to start the first of January but due to unanticipated events, the start date had to be changed (2) times. RMC was totally understanding and accommodating. The first day of work, RMCs team arrived surprisingly early for what we were accustomed to w/ FL contractors. The guys introduced themselves, work started, etc. Each day following was the same experience. Bob Rusnell showed up at the job site frequently to check on progress. The entire experience w/ RMC was positive and professional by the entire crew. RMC was not the least expensive nor the most expensive but I can tell all who read this their quality of workmanship, equipment appearance, housekeeping, and professionalism was second to none. The project completed on time and the end result was totally what we wanted. I would highly recommend RMC to anyone considering a dock project.
