We had our boat key stolen, called around to many places but no one could help. Called Sunchaser and Ed was an Angel and our HERO! He made it happened, we are grateful for him and his team! Will definitely use them again and highly recommend them. Great people!

Bought a pre owned Glastron boat from here. It took a couple weeks to get it water ready. Since I didnt have a boat to begin with, a couple weeks didnt matter.They did an outstanding job, explained the operation. Took the time to take us on the lake for a check ride and familiarize us with the operation of the vessel.My thanks to Randy and his crew (I apologize as I dont remember names) for their outstanding customer service.I did have an issue, my misunderstanding, but it was quickly resolved with advice and courtesy.Thanks guys.Thank you ever

I wouldnt recommend them to my worst enemy. They worked on the trailer which was fine they wer supposed to overhaul carburetor said it didnt need it . They charge me for cleaning the carburetors then after picking up the boat after they told me it runs great took it to the lake it ran exactly the same. I took the boat back to them and supposedly fixed the problem charge me another 76 bucks on top of thousand they had already charged for the carb . took the boat to the lake again and it ran worst than before so after my discussion with her so-called lead mechanic he made a comment about it ran fine but then when I pick it up it doesnt run good so after that comment I decided I better just take it to someone that even knows what theyre doing or cares about what theyre doing believe me youre rolling the dice if you go here. A neighbor of mine said he had the same result with them told me I shouldnt take it but I had already brought it back twice with no good result so I ended up taking it somewhere else and spending the money again very disappointed I couldnt trust them. Ended up taking to South Austin Marine where there is a great group of people in fact its where I bought the boat so that was my experience

This place was awesome. They helped me find a boat that fit our party’s needs perfectly and were able to book an appointment for the very next day to hit the lake. We bought a tube to pull behind the boat and used one of their wake boards. There were no hidden or extra fees, what you see is what you get. Great business all-around.

Great group of people! They will bend over backwards to make sure you are happy! We boat owners all know what boat stands for but they do only what is needed and I wouldn’t hesitate to bring my boat back for any future repairs. Top notch folks!!!!

Is there a “no star” rating. I’ve made four calls, talked to someone every time I called. Told them they have worked on my boat before. I was ready to buy a new 150 or 200 and asked them to send me an estimate. Every time i got the same answer. “Well we have been really busy but will have someone call you back. I even gave them my email for a reply. My first call was a week before Memorial day 2019 and my last way the 1st of July. Not one call back, no message and no email. I wouldnt take a free motor from them now. Someone ready to spend $16,000.00 and theyre too busy to call back! Bet they would sure leave you floating if something went wrong IF they sold you a motor

Dont store your boat here! My dad stored his boat here for years and all of a sudden they stopped sending quarterly invoices. We are a business and receive hundreds of invoices on a monthly basis so I was not aware that we had stopped receiving the invoices. They never called to request payment, never mailed anything...no communication whatsoever. Finally, my dad went to pick up his boat to use it to find it had been moved. He called to see where his boat was and no one could tell him. After 2 months of going back and forth with the rude staff, he finally received an invoice for $6000 for rent! AND, they stated that they would file a mechanics lien if it was not paid in less than 30 days!! He went there today to see if he could negotiate a payment plan and the lady was extremely rude and unprofessional and stated that his boat was back in the storage unit that it was initially located at. No one will tell him where his boat was and for how long. And on top of it, the mail that we FINALLY received from them reeked of cigarette smoke! We completely understand that we owe the money, but the rude staff was completely uncalled for. Karma.....

Couldn’t have had better service! Got a hold of them a couple hours after closing on a Saturday and they took my boat right in as if it were during normal business hours.My Mastercraft X* trailer was fixed better than I had planned and the pricing was very fair! They went above and beyond expectations and I would give them 10 stars if I could. Fantastic job would not hesitate to come here again at all Thank you!!!!

We rented a boat from Sunchaser over spring break and had an excellent time. Everyone was friendly and very helpful! We cruised along the lake, fished and relaxed. The boat worked great and was very fun. We definitely recommend this place for boat rentals!

Beware of the repairs made here.First time with the repair service it was a water pump. When I drove the boat home I noticed leaking gear oil out of the lower unit. Lucky for me they just forgot to tighten the drain plug. I found out several months later about this repair with another shop(Leaking seals) that Sunchaser left a hose clamp on the water pump shaft. I was extremely lucky the clamp did not destroy the water pump shaft.The second time was a carburetor overhaul. After the overhaul, the boat ran only if you gunned it. It would not run when in gear right above idle. I took it back and while talking to mechanic saw the linkage on the throttle was off and the choke heater wire was not connected.I paid over 1k at sunchaser (adding a fuel filter with repairs) and I am very disappointed of the quality of workmanship.I almost forgot, the mounting bolts on the lower unit- One nut was visually cracked in half and they put that on after the water pump job.

Have been to this shop several times and was helped out by Ed. Extremely helpful in running down old parts and helpful in giving advice in how to restore my boat. All parts were correct the first time. Old school shop, take the time to know your boat and people who work on them. I Like the shop and the people that work there.

Great service and smart technicians!

They worked on my Baja 29 Outlaw last summer and while it did take a while they warned me that they were backed up. The work was done correctly and the pricing was fair. I realize that a boat can turn into a headache for people but thats no reason to take it out on a mechanic.

Excellent time on Canyon Lake thanks to Sunchaser. The ski boat we rented was well maintained and affordably-priced. They even gave us ice, a set of skis, wakeboard, ropes, and quality ski vests to use. No gimmicks or run-down gear like Ive experienced elsewhere. Couldnt ask for a more pleasurable experience.

Unfortunately I cannot comment on the quality of their repair work, due to the fact that the price they quoted me was 3X the estimate I received at four other locations. I would be wary of taking a boat here for body work given the exorbitant pricing.

HORRIBLE!!!!! Took our boat to Sunchaser to have it sit there for 3 weeks to find out that no one had even looked at our boat. We were quoted 10 day turnaround. What a joke! When we called for status updates we were YELLLED at and hung up on multiple times. This has been probably the worst customer service we have ever experienced. We picked our boat up - still broken. We will never take our boat back and highly recommend everyone to stay away.

This was an absolute horrible experience. This shop should be CLOSED down to prevent others from being swindled! Not only did they fix our boat WITHOUT our permission they also allowed the horrible mechanic yell at me and my husband when we refused accept his choices on our boat repair. What should have cost $250 turned into $800! Do not use this place!!
