Great place. Love the stuff you find. All in blue bins. I just hate how some people are rude and cut you off and throw items. Like respect the treasure even if you think its junk. Ive been twice and plan on many more. Prices are fair!!
99% junk. goodwill pulls the good stuff and puts it on auction online. it smells, its dirty, and unlikely to find something good for the time and effort it takes to dig. but i think its great for those who are really in need, as the prices in a regular goodwill are so absurd that im glad this is an option for some people.
My daughter and I started coming here a couple months ago and absolutely love digging through the bins and finding amazing deals. I am a reseller on eBay and this is the perfect place to pick up inventory at incredible prices.
Can find great treasures. People need to be a little more respectful. When going through bins, people literally throw stuff out of the way. Possibly breaking something that somebody else might want.
This place needs organized. I dont want to dig through baskets to find something.
They bring out 4-6 bins every half hour and every other time ive came its 40 people in those 4 bins. They are always under staffed and super slow. Nearly every time i noticed 3 employees at the cash registers just talking most of the time. I see others have commented on this and they say they share the feedback with management team but when is something actually going to change!!! Ive been to outlets where4 employees brought out 16 blue bins in less than 10 minutes. Please fix this i want to actually spend more than 5 dollars a day here if they just brought out more stuff people would spend alot. TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT
As an outlet of the Goodwill this is very losely organized in large bins. These bins can change every 30 minutes, at which time shopping is paused and customers must wait in the outskirts. But if you like searching for buried treasure this is the place to do it. Prices are by the pound and category.
Interesting. Many different things, wish I had more money & time to search.
Love the goodwill outlet! So much cheaper than the regular goodwill, definitely our favorite store! We go weekly!
My happy place love the new pricing for 2021! Thanks! I got a great vacuum last week for .60 some cents a pound! Would stop in every day if I didn’t live so far❣️Hoping for expanded hours in the future. Like pre- pandemic. Ty❣️
They rarely have Media here but when they do its .75 cents an item. The one in Akron does Media by weight. I came to this location 3 times with minimal to no Media the first 2. Third time I go to weigh my cart and they go to ring out every item. I thought this was an outlet. Finding out my cart is going to cost 3x as much as the other outlet 10 miles away was very disappointing especially after the hour drive. Wont be back on principle alone.
Started traveling a hour away to this location about a month ago. I love it! Cleaner than most, good employees, and friendly regulars! Great place if you’re willing to dig for a good find. Some room for improvement would be to rotate more than 1 section every 30 mins so that not so many people are attacking the few new bins, sanitizing the carts more often, and cleaning the women’s restroom daily. Hope this review helps!
Came in at 10 am this week and they did 4 clothing bins between 12+ people. good way to catch the virus. Place has been awful ever since new manager got hired
Not impressed stuff didnt sell at other stores maybe not charge so much it is donated after all.
You can find some cool stuff if you like digging around!! Name brand items...some new with tags! Ive found vintage Nike sweatshirts.. Lilly Pulitzer..lots of stuff. Many bins changed out hourly. I only started going a few months ago because I always thought it was just junk...not so.Try it out!
The best place ever! Friendly workers.
Great place to dig.
Came in early last week to see they only were doing 4-6 new fresh bins per hour. Came in this week to see theyre doing more yet now its every few hours. I will come back in a few months when they start doing the right amount every hour. Waste of time going there at this time
It was different.. You shop out out of large bins and you pay by the weight.. Never bwwnro a place like this.. I gotlt for a little.. I will be going back...
This used to be a good place to shop. Now you get put through what can only be explained as prison drills. Every time they switch bins you are expected to stand in the corner on a RED X and wait for them to get done switching out one bin. While everyone waits and could be shopping the other bins. The entire store smells of bleach which is unhealthy for our emotional health. I will never go back to this store. I will drive out of my way to be treated human.
I liked this location. Obviously, it’s the bins, if you know anything about them, you know what you’re getting. You’re getting the stuff that hasn’t sold and it’s next step would be to be thrown out. But there were some gems left and I also really liked that they put new bins out regularly. I’d recommend gloves, just because some of the bins get kinda icky. The clothes are nearly impossible to go through and some of them smelled like moth balls, badly. The staff was very polite. The person who checked us out was personable and friendly.
Dont let the people giving low ratings discourage you from coming. Yes, most of the stuff youre sorting through is destined for recycling/trash, BUT there is a lot of good stuff. You just have to be willing to dig.16 new bins come out EVERY HOUR. There really is something for everyone. Is it dirty? Yes. Is it unorganized? Yes. Is it crowded? Sometimes, yes. BUT... Its fun. And you really can find good stuff if youre willing to spend time going through every bin. Make the trip!
It a nice place . You just have to be patience to fine stuff you can use.
Dont be afraid to dig in them bins, treasures await.
This place looks like a prep area for landfill. Though you may find a couple of useful items do not expect to hit the thrift store gold mine at this location! It is the bottom of the barrel of thrift stores. None of the cool things that you would usually find in a goodwill are here. NOT AN EXAGGERATION! BUYER BEWARE! If you are traveling from another city to visit this place do not do it, it is not worth the effort, time, or fuel driving there. The customer service was okay, not a child friendly environment.
Came in February and spent $100s there weekly. Came twice last week for the whole time and spent nearly $12 total. What happened
Came in last week to them switching out tables of goods and clothes every half hour in rows of 10 or more. I stopped in today from 10-2 and they are now bringing out 5 wares tables at a time with an inconvenient space in between the row, terrible layout. Whoever had the idea of changing the number and putting a horizontal bin every 4 bins should be fired immediately. Left with $12 worth of clothing. If youre looking for wares of all sorts, maybe try another outlet store nearby. I thought we were social distancing as well? Why are upwards of 30 plus people all surrounded around 5 tables. Ill be back next week hopefully my review makes a change.
I enjoyed my shopping experience at the outlet store - it’s nothing short of exhausting looking through the bins & I would recommend gloves and not bring your children. You can find nice items, you need patience. Sometimes I get stressed at how unorganized it is - but I know this how the store is setup. Most items are priced by weight in Cart, there are a few items that are individually priced.*** Know this is not a traditional goodwill with clothing on racks.
Its what you would expect from a Goodwin outlet.
This type of Goodwill is not for everybody, but I love it! One of the best out there with friendly staff! While the bins themselves are messy, of course, the floor and store are always clean!
Fun staff and finding the occasional fun item. Books are plenty and lots of interesting finds. The people that work here are very nice.
Staff was nice. I will go back, was my first time and I had alot of fun.
I love this store, this place is always worth a visit, you never know what youll find. Ive had days were I found lots of great things and days were I walked out empty handed. This store is a great place to buy furniture on the cheap, there are some blue benches in the back of the store that are great for trying on footwear, also worth noting that if you find an item that needs to be plugged in is to try out the outlet plug located by those same blue benches to make sure youre item turns on, unfortunately there is no dressing room that I am aware of at this location, so make sure when picking clothes to keep in mind the size youre looking for, enjoy
I really like the goodwill concept. However i feel their selling prices have now far exceed budgets of average poor person. I no longer give them all my donations.
The staff is great but too expensive for what they offer. Its just wares and clothing and books dumped onto tables they wheel out. You dig thru things that can be broken and dirty. Not worth the time or money at S1.29 a pound. The only good thing is they change out 8-12 tables ever hour. Akron area outlet better on S Arlington. $.79 a pound & at 30 pounds or more goes down to $.49 a pound. For me not worth the drive. I stop sometimes if Im new Belden Village.
Great. Deals deals deals
June 2019 and the place has gotten even worse than last year, the people there spend all day picking over everything instead of actually getting a real job. They also have hidden rules where if they bring out new things youre not allowed to dig in until everything is brought out or else they kick you out. How am I supposed to know this? When this place first opened it was incredible, but then word got around and all the smelly (literally) meth head resellers camp the place day and night working there. Like others have said, dont bother going there.
Its hard to rate a goodwill outlet store because you really never know what youre going to get. The attendants wheel out large plastic bins full of various items and then the battle ensues for those who wish to get the best items first (for the most part). You can walk away with multiple $100s of dollar items, or nothing at all. It really is up to the luck of the draw. Even if I dont actually find anything, it is always an interesting hunt.
The girls running register were super rude. Will not be coming back to be treated like that. Told us we had 30 seconds before we had to leave and i checked my phone and it was 757. They dont close till 8. I was just checking to see if they had any couches and they did not. But there was no reason for her to be rude and have an attitude about it. People like that should not work with the public.
Great place for bargains but you have to be willing to doing thru bins. Items are not on shelves and are not organized like a traditional Goodwill store.
The price is too high for the pounds at a 1.09 pound. especially theyre getting everything from donation so it should be a lot cheaper.I used to walk in there and get a lot of stuff for a very good price. I walked out today and just got a few things and it was $26. So I wont be going back. Plus the stuff in the bin hasnt been that great at all anyways.
I am a crafter and love digging through their bins of wares for really unique items sold by the pound that I can use for repurposing. A lot has come from Goodwill Retail Stores that didnt sell but some items I think go directly to the outlet. I have found some very interesting things at good prices. This is a no frill way to buy. Be prepared to dig! The cashiers are really nice and very helpful too. They helped to teach me all about outlet shopping. They charge for bags so I take my own totes.
Bins and bins of each persons paradise!
I will say this store is nice, but 2 older woman made comments to me about several customers who are allowed to take full carts of shoes, purses not dumped on tables, act like they are buying all,go in corner of store go through cart and take what they want out and return cart and dump on tables,I wouldnt believe it but watched several times in the last 2 weeks, purse cart was just newly put out, seen few cute ones, woman across table nearly lunges me and says stay out of her cart, sounds petty but why bother going if someone had already taken anything decent, workers all aware, and say can do nothing, really? So honestly better off going to other thrifts with better practices of selling
You can find some good stuff sometimes, the workers are pretty nice. Worse part is the customers they can be very rude and will come right beside you and try to get to get to the items first. And people let there kids run loose and pay no attention to them.
Changing the store this past week was the worst decision ever made. I used to spend hundreds every week on shoes and bags and they seem to be pretty much eliminating that..this past week I have spent a little over 3.00. They have lost massive amounts of money from me due to this New change. Worst move ever.
First 1 ever been to Holly cow I LOVE THAT PLACE!!! just found another one cant wait to check it out
You have to dig through bins, but I have found some great deals at $1.09 per pound.
This is junk no one wanted at other goodwills. Its pretty grimy but its not their fault. Nice staff
Rude people.
That was the most worthless place EVER!!EVERYTHING is in bins! And people are throwing stuff around, and going thru things like they are trying to find the treasure! This place is a joke!!
Great place if youre willing to dig. Modern day treasure hunting.
Over crowded and no organization
Some good finds, but I think the prices are a little bit high.
It was awesome the price goes by weight of all the stuff that you get
Very dirty and unorganized. Things were thrown in bins and were very weathered looking
This Goodwill is marked as an Outlet so it piqued my curiosity. What I found is a Goodwill composed of nothong but large dump bins that customers must dig through to find anything. The only organization to be found is that shoes, purses/bags, and toys seem to be in their own dump bins, and everything else is mixed together (dishes, folders, and books in one bin). Its chaos for people who go in looking for a particular thing as its not guaranteed to be anywhere to be found. I also saw many people wearing gloves while going through the bins, I am not sure if this was their personal preference or if the store in general does less cleaning of the goods before dumping them. There was also many clearly damaged objects lying in half the bins (wooden shelves missing 2 or 3 internal shelves, metal boxes with missing or damaged lids that do not close, toys are in shambles and wheels will not roll or dolls missing arms, etc). If you are looking for a good Goodwill, visit the one south of this location on Tuscarawas Street. This one is madness.
May be one of the most dysfunctional places Ive ever been. The people were rude and it smells of old beer too.
Clean and well organized. prices high
The people are very nice
BEST TIME EVER...
Good stuff. Never know what youll find.
Lots of vintage goods at fair prices.
Good buys
GOODWILL HAS CHANGED THERE PROCEDURE NOW ELIMINATING THERE SHOES AND BAGS, THIS HAS MADE ALOT OF CUSTOMERS WALK OUT ! THEY BROUGHT MORE CLOTHES OUT AND WARES. ALOT OF US REGULARS CAME IN JUST FOR SHOES AND BAGS, NOT NOW! NOT LIKE IT USE TO BE FOR SURE...
Place is always packed. You put items on scale and pay by weight of items.
Intense mad scramble chaos
Bought a microwave, and yes I know of their as is no return policy, needless to say got the unit home, plugged it in, and went to make some popcorn and the microwave burst into flames . Buyer beware of what you buy !!!
Nothing is hung up and every thing is in big blue bins
Never know what youll find here!
Not very organized, but I found an Angry Birds hat for $1.04 so I dont mind.
Intresting finds
Super big store
Good selection of stuff
Good prices...
Good
Its okay
