The employee that worked today (and most days) is AMAZING! He always goes above and beyond to help me and others. On top of that, Im pretty sure he mind reads what clients are there for and is able to direct them to the right location before they even say anything. This allows for him to manage multiple types of services at once and get everyone in and out of the store extremely quickly. I always know my experience will be efficient and professional when I see him working, and it is much appreciated!
The 2 younger guys there are the best, the lady uggh not great,I come here maybe twice a week and always worried it won’t be the 2 gentleman I mentioned, give them a raise they go above and beyond with helping and customer service ..thanks
Never alerted me that my PO Box was overdue and then immediately shut it off and all mail was returned to Post Office. Terrible service, do not recommend.
The older woman who work there is ver rude with costumers, the young black guy is very pleasant but you you do something about that woman, is not right how she trow you thing, she do what ever she want and you people let her, I will let know the big boss of Boston Bureau dot
I go here at least once a week to mail packages and I have never had an issue. The employees are kind and very efficient.
Horrible store, horrible people and staff, starts from the top down . A few employees that work there are actually reasonable people but this store should be closed down for the rudeness and complete unprofessional attitude most of them give off. Tried to stay nice for a year to them, despite the constant disrespect they give to you. Apparently a ups store cannot scan in 6-8 prepaid packages for you once a week, literally takes one minute and no work to them. He actually said to me this is not ups lol, such a joke, yes you are part of the company.Do yourself a favor and drive to the Easton store, much better staff and great people to deal with. The town should shut this place down.
I have been to this place 2 separate times and now I avoid it at all costs, I will drive the extra few minutes to go to a better store. First time I went there was a line of people and no one up front to assist. All I heard was a conversation going on from back room. Second time I was returning a amazon package and it took about 2 weeks to get back to the Amazon Warehouse. Usually with amazon I get my refund within hours, nope 2 weeks because of this store.
Staff are beyond rude. Every time I go there they are just so rude. Definitely don’t mind driving a little extra next time just so I don’t have to go to this store.
Incompetent employees who are not willing to help. Place is a complete rip off. They overcharge for everything. Absolutely no customer support at all. I wish I had saw all the negative reviews that surround this place prior to doing any business here.GO ELSEWHERE.......
Called the store this morning, asked where I could get shipping to envelopes. The person mentioned that they don’t have them, and I need to order from UPS directly. When asking if there was any way to get them from a physical location today, he hung up. Called back a second time asking for his name. He hung up again. Called a third time. Did not bother to pick up this time. Their new ad campaign should be “Go FedEx”
Had to return a package and was near Canton and searched for a UPS Drop-Off location. To my surprise, Ive read about 95% negative reviews on this place. Most of it is just showing up without labels or require assistance, which it sounds like the people that work there are of no help. This morning, I had my package all taped up along with the return label. No work needed, just needed to drop it off and the clerk just needs to scan it. A young man comes out from the back. Its 9 AM and he appears to be half asleep. Doesnt say, can I help you or anything. I said good morning, needed to drop this off. He looks at it, takes it, scans it and says, all set. Ive already took a picture of the barcode, so I didnt need a receipt. However, he is supposed to give the customer a receipt as receiving the package. Otherwise, he can throw your package in the street and its not tracked. So, reading these very entertaining reviews, I can see how this person would have acted if I walked in without a label or required additional assistance. This young man obviously didnt want to work this morning and was there for a paycheck. That is just my observation. But, others here can clearly paint a better picture of the people and services at this location. Very surprised by the lack of attention from this young man.
Terrible experience!! Avoid this place! My package was damaged during shipping and it took over 5 follow up calls only to learn UPS insurance would not cover the damage. Really wish there was an option to give no stars. Also wish I had used Postal Center USA across the street in Canton.
They suppose to open at 8.30am on a weekday, I am at the door at 9.30am and still not opened. Choose another store for UPS service.
Employee named Sebastian was awful. Had to call the police just to be able to ship my package. He also gave me the middle finger (Not professional) . Tried to contact management about the issue and they ignored me. Will be trying to escalate to the actual UPS company. Will not be coming back here and I suggest you don’t either. If they’re even open when you show up...
Just had an awesome experience here with the employee named Akiv. Right before closing he let several customers in (myself included) and did his very best addressing each and every customers unique needs with patience and kindness. I havent had a bad experience here despite all the negative reviews and I will definitely come here again.
Marquis was beyond helpful! I mistakenly printed the wrong label and he assisted me with correcting the transaction and saved me $34. Very patient and had great customer service while multitasking between customers.
I handed the clerk a paper with names and addresses on it. He clearly couldn’t read and mixed up a “D” and a “0” (typed and printed). He throws the packages in back, never had me sign a PSO and then when the package gets returned to sender (their store) they failed to call me. When I finally realized it’s just been sitting at their store returned, they refused to re-ship without charging me (WHEN THEIR EMPLOYEE ERRORED). Mind you, when I called to sort the error they said they’d figure it out and never called me back. I walked into the store (they didn’t know I was coming after I called). Store was completely empty and the clerk hadn’t done a single thing to try and figure it out. The new clerk at the location is going to say, “Oh well go ahead and call corporate because the stores been owned by the same guy for 20 years.” So, clearly corporate doesn’t care what this store own does or how he treats people.
I had items to return with pre-paid pre-printed labels attached. The girl working the counter watched me struggle to bring 6 boxes in, 6 separate trips. She then let me stand in a very long, slow moving line until I finally reached the front only to tell me that she would not accept my packages because she didn’t have room for them, because the location was small. She then offered to let me use her two wheeler to take my packages back to my car. Very disappointed and not sure what to do with these boxes in my car. This business sucks!
When doing returns and your email says UPS should print a free return label, they dont!!!! I had a free return to do and was charged at the UPS store. I made a purchase at zappos and they said their affiliate (UPS) could do whatever they wanted even though zappos explicitly wrote that the label was free in the email sent to me. This is very misleading!!! I could have printed the label at home myself. Be warned... its not free...
Mid-aged woman clerk was in back. Heard her utter an expletive. So not well imposed to her when she appeared. She was so rude and unfriendly I picked up my box and marched out. Maybe they have better staff now.
I was in the store about 3:40 PM, Friday, July 31st. The clerk working there was extremely helpful to me. I was surprised, after reading the many negative reviews. He went beyond what was necessary. There were many other customers, but, he spent extra time assisting me.
Quick in and out. Associate even caught a mistake I made on label. He seemed to handle the all the coming through the door pretty quickly.
If I could give no stars I would. Absolutely rude, condescending called my cell phone and started giving me attitude about a package that they lost. I would never ever recommend this store unless you intend to lose your belongings.
Simply the worst customer service of anywhere in the area.
Always been quick, kind, and effective. I’m baffled at the low reviews. Makes no sense!
Don’t go here
Ive always had good service here
If only we could give 0 stars. Front desk employee is as useful as a Pet Rock. No hi, no can I help you? Barely speaks and just fires the papers back at you. Great way to run a store UPS!!!! Keep up the great work!!
Needed to drop off a package to be returned around 12:30pm on fri. There was a kid waiting in front of me and someone behind me. No one was at the desk waiting in line for 3 mins. Heard people having a personal conversation in the back. Went behind counter and was like 3 people are waiting for you. Guy was rude and said sorry i didnt hear the bell ring. Well why dont you stay up front and do your job?
Do not use this store. If I could use negative I would. UPS website says you can drop off DHL packages there. I did in the past after checking to verify this. Today they told me I could not do this and that I never have dropped off there and if the corporate website says that they are mistaken and that is tough for me. The supposed owner said I good leave the package and he would put it in the trash.
One of the kids working at this location very clearly does not like his job and seems miserable. Short answers, plain/negative expression, reluctant to help. Im amazed he has a job. Ive been here three times and have seen him twice. The third time the location closed earlier then their schedule said. I will be sure to avoid in future.
Quick service and friendly employees. Dont know what others gripe is but Ive had a good experience everytime I went here.
Haven’t been to this location for a while and was skeptical after reading so many bad reviews. Decided to give it a chance and glad I did. The young man behind the counter was friendly, courteous and professional. No complaints here.
Front desk lady acted like I showed up there to inconvenience her day. She did not print out a receipt for me and shooed me away. I told her I had two books with prepaid amazon labels. She did not package or tape the boxes for me instead she made me leave and said she would get it done. Only one of my books showed up returned and amazon charged me $200 for the book that as not returned and a late fee. I tried to fight it but because the lady would not give me a receipt I could not fight it. I wish I read the reviews before going here. I am LIVID.
When I walked into The UPS Store this morning I must say, I was greeted by a nice young man at the front desk. He definitely has good customer service skills. By the way, his name is Akiv.
Manager is very rude.
Funny, took the package right outta my hands and made it easy
I should have read the reviews before heading there.First, the staff was rude. Secondly, the package was a return, so I already printed the label and took that with me. Usually I would like to take a photo of item inside as a proof right in a shipping store, so I didnt seal the box completely. To my surprise, they charged me $1 for a tape probably 12 inches long. What a joke. And I had to ask them twice to get a drop off receipt.I am ok with the charge if the staff was nice. Will never go there again. Staple stores are much better choice.
Owner charge me even if it’s said my package is free. What a businessman money money money his name is Stuart by the way 🤫😱11/6/18 just now I went to 4 more locations of ups but did not charge me anything.. I don’t care about $1 because I can give it if the owner is nice but you’re not
The woman at the counter was the rudest person I have dealt with in a long time; to put it politely. I had multiple Amazon returns, and I was instructed to not package the items or print out slips. She was going to charge me for each return and I stopped her after the first item. She made me pay for the first item because she “already printed the slip”, and she charged me for packaging. I can’t believe anyone, especially an adult, still acts or speaks to people that way. I left before losing my temper and saying something I would regret. I would rather drive to another town to return my items next time, instead of dealing with someone like that. I would give them less than 1 star if it was an option.
It is very clear why there are so many poor reviews of this store. The owner, Stuart, just hung up the phone on me. In August 2018 I shipped an overnight envelope that was not delivered on time, causing me to lose a large amount of money. The UPS Store told me they would reimburse me the $31 it cost to ship. I went in a few days later to have the money put back onto my credit card and they told me a check was on its way from UPS and would be delivered within 3 weeks. 3 weeks came and went and I checked again. I was told by the UPS store that the check was on its way. Long story, short. They never reimbursed the money, they said it was a UPS corporate issue and had nothing to do with them. Be careful of this place, looking at the reviews before mine, this seems to be a pretty common occurrence. And the best was when Stuart, the owner, called me to tell me to stop calling them, that it is not their problem, its UPSs problem. Arent they UPS?
I wouldn’t give a star but you have to pick one in order to post. I brought in a prepaid Amazon box and the worker said ‘that’ll be a dollar’ I was so confused and said ‘Amazon is charging me a dollar, why would they do that?! I’ll be calling them’ (mind you i had a tough time with this return because it was damaged so I thought maybe amazon customer service set it up weird when I placed the call for the return.)Come to find out it wasn’t Amazon at all. The worker made it like I was bothering her and she didn’t have the time of day for me. Have some customer service because there’s plenty of other places to return amazon items and UPS store will not be one of them for our family. And after reading reviews I see this is how you operate for tape and packaging but my problem stands that she led me to believe it was Amazon instead of simply stating ‘oh it’s because i have to close your box’ because i would have said okay I’ll bring it back or take it elsewhere. And the amazon worker just told me to bring the email with the code box and the item that was stuck in the box. And with all these comments it’s definitely not just me. But don’t worry Amazon gave me a courtesy credit of $2 for having to even place another call to them.
I have been to this location many times to ship different items and all of the employees have been very helpful and accommodating.
Helpful staff, good customer service
12/3 @ 2:50pm .. I’ve worked in Customer Service for years. While I was making copies the young gentleman was dealing with argumentative customers in a great manner .. when it was my turn to send out 2 very important pieces of mail, he took care of me & went above & beyond what his position calls for .. hats of to this young man. I’m new to Canton & I’ll defintely be back & recommend this store to my girl friend, who visits the Starbucks next door more than anywhere else in Canton, thus far =)
Beware someone at this place is stealing stuff. every time i send something out from this location something goes missing. this is the 3rd n final time that you take something out of my shipment.Update: Its a crime to open peoples packages and take things that arent yours!!!!! this is the owner son doing all this. he the one i left all my packages with. he is also the guy responding to the reviews.kid you need another job! this place has so much potential but your out here scamming your own customers. not a good move!
Worst customer experience ever !!! My wife and I tried to send a document to Mexico, and the lady who was at the UPS store located at - 95 Washington St Ste 425, Canton, MA - was not able to enter the correct name and address of the person receiving the package in Mexico, even after we wrote down all the info. We asked her to update the info, but she just was keeping entering the incorrect info and started to act really rude to us. You guys just lost a customer forever. Fedex is way better.
I dropped off my business UPS pre-paid shipments about once a month at this location for five years. Today, this lady, at her 40s, whom I never seen before, informed me that I can NOT drop off my UPS shipments anymore at their store because the shipper (us) is using a business name to ship the packages. I told her this is a UPS shipment. She confirmed that I can not drop off a UPS shipment at a UPS store. How ridiculous!! I contacted the UPS customer service, who told me I should be allow to drop off my UPS shipments at any UPS store nearby. And the UPS customer service gave me a UPS store Corporate Headquarters phone number for me to file a complaint. I will call the corporate office and have them look at the awful reviews of this store online. I guess this store figures they they dont make much profit for a pre-paid shipment so they turn you away. This is terrible customer service!!
I got to the store today at 4:15pm. it was closed. Sign said open until 4:30. Unbelievable. No sign on door explaining need for closing early. Don’t expect this store to be open when you try to drop off packages.
Very rude customer service. Absolutely not helpful and showed lot of attitude! Wanted to find out if an international shipment of a small pack of OTC medicine is allowed in the destination country and she was like I dont know you have to call. I asked if she had the number and she said I dont with an attitude. And, i asked how fast the shipment will reach the destination country and she said it will take about 5 to 6 days which was surprising since its supposed to be priority international. I ended up using Fedex in Braintree where the front desk person called customer service to find out if OTC shipment was allowed in the destination country and he prepared the label. Also, Fedex will deliver within 3-4 business days.
Wow I just read some of comments and I think I am writing about the same young man with the terrible customer service. I do not understand how he is not being fired already. I had a similar story where I came to return an amazon package and the young man told me I need to pay. I did not understand why and I told him I will check on amazon right now on my phone because it said it would be free (meaning I do not even have to bring a box or the label because it will be provided). He said since he already scanned my phone and printed it I have to pay and pushed my box even tough I did not agree to it. He then threatened to call the police on me because I wont leave the store until I check on Amazon and flipped me off! I was forced to drive to a UPS 15 minutes away to have it sent for free with no trouble at all! This young man is terrible and should not be giving customer service.
Worst place in the area. Went in there once and I was screamed at because I started boxing up what I was going to ship inside the store. Im bringing you business and your going to give me a hard time because its windy out and Im trying to make sure all the packing peanuts are not flying all over the place??? So I took my business elsewhere and went to the Postal Center USA next to Dunkin Donuts and Antons Cleaners. They were alot helpful.
Very poor customer service, not helpful at all. Very aggressive sales people but clearly don’t won’t to understand customer needs.Definitely go to another UPS store and please avoid going to this one.
Store closed earlier than it should be without any sign or notice, time and gas wasted.
Source of the worst customer experience Ive EVER had - 5 MONTH ORDEAL. DO NOT GO HERE (UPS Store 5346)!Summary version: I paid for the UPS Store to pack, ship, and insure a piece of fitness equipment ($530 in total). The item arrived broken and its taken me 5 MONTHS to get reimbursed. In fact, I needed to escalate the issue to UPS Store HQ to finally get resolution, because the store was unresponsive and deceitful (e.g., forged my name on a packing agreement).Additional detail: The UPS Store is a franchise model, but claims to have packing experts and that if we pack it up, we back it up - neither are true here. My shipment arrived broken at the destination. I immediately filed a claim with UPS, including pictures of the shabby packing and the broken item. Because UPS Stores are franchise models, it means that all information and, more importantly, money flows through the UPS Store. I expected an expedient resolution/reimbursement to my issue working with the UPS Store, given that I believed I had taken all proper precautions to protect myself. However, what I got was 3 months of runaround, unreturned calls, conflicting information, and ZERO progress, despite weekly follow up calls.Ultimately, I needed to reach out to UPS Store HQ to have someone help facilitate on my behalf. They informed me that the UPS Store claimed that I had signed a shipping agreement that limited their liability. I was sent an image of a contract with MY SIGNATURE FORGED. I then resent pictures of receipts and informed them that I never signed anything at the store. Even then, it took ANOTHER 2 MONTHS to resolve - a month of weekly calls to the UPS Store HQ to get the reimbursement check cut from UPS to the Store and another month of calls to actually get the check from the UPS Store to me.All told, I spent 15-20 hours of my time chasing down this store to get them TO STAND BEHIND THEIR COMMITMENT TO CUSTOMERS and hold them accountable for their obligations. I have no doubt that if I hadnt relentlessly pursued reimbursement, I would have been out the full $530.I will NEVER EVER EVER go to this store again, or any UPS Store for that matter. This franchise model is a terrible design for customer service, particularly when a franchisee is intent on delivering a terrible experience like UPS Store 5346.Response to owner: Not returning one of my 20+ calls does not fit a reasonable description of “diligent” by any standard. And yes, my signature was forged. I never saw the agreement that was “signed by me” prior to it being emailed to me by UPS HQ - and the signature on the form doesn’t remotely resemble my actual signature. Who has more reason to be dishonest in this scenario? Also, this business has got to be one of the most poorly rated I’ve ever seen, both on Yelp or Google. Maybe a more productive way to respond to criticism is to improve your practices rather than denigrate your customers.
No wonder why they have so many bad reviews. They won’t even answer the phone.
This place is terrible. I have been in there six times in the last 4-5 months and literally on half those visits the time employees have claimed that some piece of equipment (copier, computer, etc.) is down and they cant accommodate what I am asking for. One of the employees there does not know how to print a document and admits to it, even though it is one of the services theyre supposed to offer!
Impolite staff would not help me while trying to fix computer unrelated to shipping .Youll have to wait a few MINUTES he yelledI walked out. Never go there again
They were closed 30 minutes before it says closed. Crazy.
Have been here many times as its really the only UPS store close to me. Was going to swing by today but after seeing the reviews just by chance, I come to find out whats really going on here. Bad reviews of a business do not deter me, but how the owner is responding to the negative reviews is obviously not good. Needs to show some respect to the customer, looks really bad constantly pointing the finger at the customer, telling them they need to learn how to read, and calling people simpletons. Even if you are right and they are simpletons ...
Its not worth spending time explaining my experience in this UPS store, I chose FedEx on Providence Hwy to do the service, who have excellent customer service, a more efficient process and payed less money for shipping.
They lost my brothers package in June 2018 with $1000 worth of items given to us after the loss of our loved one. We sent 4 packages heading towards the same place and one of the luggages went mysteriously missing. I called UPS headquarters and they followed up with that UPS store and no refund has been issued since June 2018. The entire process was lengthy given the lack of communication on their end. The manager was irritable because UPS headquarters contacted him and he had me send him an email to which he never responded. The luggage was stolen and no reparations were made. I would not recommend anyone to go there as the staff is highly incompetent. We have not been issued a refund since June.
Poor customer services, never ever have an experience like that before, told me to use a computer to print out label and charge me $5, and I told him cant print out and never have an issue, wouldnt never come back here no more!!! Other UPS store only charge me a dollar and print out the label for me!!!
This place deserves 0 stars!Very rude front desk lady with unnecessary attitude. She shouldn’t be working there.
Awful-first time I went I needed to tape up the box I was shipping, and was told I needed to purchase tape for “$5.99 before tax”-days later I went back with my taped up package, after having called to confirm there hours (it’s new years eve so i figured I should check)- was told they were open until 4pm. I rushed to get there and arrived at 3:45pm but the store is locked up tight-not the way to do business. I don’t care that they were closing early for the holiday, I care that they lied about what time they would be there until.
Very rude front desk person with unnecessary attitude. She shouldn’t be working there
I had the worse customer service at this location today at 12:30 PM. I wanted to send some legal documents with passports to a government authority and I paid online for UPS over night shipping ( the costliest and safest option) . I printed shipping label as advised and went to store to put all documents in their secure envelope ( that I paid for) and ship. Person at counter was so rude. He literally told me We dont give out freebies here. I can ship your stuff in envelope your brought in. I cant give you our envelope. He denied services even when I showed him I paid for everything in advance. He turned me away and I had to go 45 min to a different UPS location in snowy weather. At UPS in Easton they were great and processed my package without asking a single question because they knew I was getting services I already paid for. Your staff really need to learn basic etiquette.
Store closes earlier than their listed schedule. Totally inconsiderate customer service. If I could give the store location a 0, or a -0 I would. I called to report this to the UPS Customer Service line.
Showed up at 4:01 when they close at 4:30 and they are closed. Deplorable
Close much earlier than stated hours, phone number has no proper voicemail. Yes, its the one next to Starbucks. I go there every few months, but usually during the day.
They are very bad people .This experience makes me want to tell everyone I know to use Fedx. And not UPS. When visiting my family in Boston, brought a heavy glass beautiful sculpture to this Canton Mass location to have shipped to our home. The blond woman who who “helped” us (although helped is not the right word) said she was having trouble finding a box for it so I told her we had the Crate and Barrel box it came in, inside our trunk. She said “go get it! “ which I did and she packed the glass sculpture on “our” box and said she wouldn’t charge us for the packing since it was “our” box. She then asked if we wanted to Insure it so we did for $200.00 . It cost $49.00 to ship with the insurance. We received the glass sculpture broken in half about one week later. After several hours on the phone, claims filed etc this billion dollar company is denying our claim because the blond woman at the Canton Mass location lied and said we packed our own sculpture . Really???? Karma will get her but I’m so disappointed in UPS right now and shocked that they have handled this situation so poorly. I have used our local UPS and never had an issue but this has really ruined my view of United Parcel Service and many others who have and will hear about this awful experience .
Dont take even take a chance. The owners always right
The worse costumer service, avoid this location if you can go to another ups than go. The employees are super rude and very disrespectful. Not helpful at all!
Front desk clerk acted like printing out a receipt was far too much trouble to ask of them. Rude and terse. Ill travel out of my way to avoid this location.
Staff acted like I was bothering them when I came in. Very pushy and wanted to rush me. Ill be visiting other locations going forward.
I was toll that the package was leaving at 600 pm on Monday April 24th 2017 but when I tracked the package it was not sent very important paperwork that need to be there on the 25th l
The counter was gated during store hours with no employees to be found.
Showed at 4:15 for package drop off. Nobody in sight and store was already closed. Times posted on doors and online all indicate that the store is open until 4:30pm.
Store is supposed to be open at 830. Its 9am, Tuesday, no holiday. Store is closed no employees/workers in site.Been here before, very rude, poor customer service. Wish I could use USPS or FedEx.
Got here at 6:20 and they were closed on a Monday
Employee left early for whatever reason. Store says closes at 430 Saturdays, employees said they stop shipping at 4pm, then ran out of the store at 410. 4/21/2018
Note on the door, be right back waited for half an hour!
Owner refused to accept package with a prepaid label ???
Very friendly and helpful.
Bad service!
Really rude manager for customers.
