Despite the smaller size, compared to other places Ive shopped, this location was rather quaint and well organized. Despite this being my first visit, I was able to find everything I was looking for rather quickly. Check out was expedient and the employees were welcoming and personable. I hope to return soon.

Nice store with a great selections of wine/spirits/beer/liquor and cigars. The biggest issue here is pricing. Everything I “shop” to have an even basis for assessment was $5-15 items such as Tito’s, Jim Bean, Captain and others. Then there’s the “good” stuff. Clase Azul for $150. Casa Amigos for $50. McKenna bib for $89. 4RSBS for $65. All well over what I be would expect to pay. But, with their location and convenience factor to those that live nearby, I understand it. But it’ll be a cold day in hell before I overpay like that for any every day item. Only in emergencies with people over and we run out of something couldn’t ever do that.Nice store, good options, but be ready to for over the dollars compared to what you’d pay elsewhere.

Very disappointed that there is an unadvertised price increase for using your credit card for making a purchase compared to cash. Debit card does not make a difference.

Beautiful store. Big selection. However, they have marked up prices unbelievably significant to nearby towns/cities. For example, Buffalo Trace bourbon was $17 more than in Rome. Eagle Rare was $22 more than in Rome. Its a nice store and there was a nice lady there that I was talking to, but OWNERSHIP takes advantage of the locals. If they jack the price up 40 to 50%.....makes a beautiful store....well 3 stars instead of 5. I would have given two stars, but the customer service was great. Too bad ownership takes advantage of American locals. Its not locally owned.

Terrible service, been here at least a hundred times never had issues. Employees are not knowledgeable about the products, especially whiskey. Denied service with a valid passport. Take your business elsewhere. Horrible experience.

I walked in with the intention of purchasing quite a few items and left as not a single employee had the courtesy to be wearing a mask. I’d rather financially support those who care about the health and we’ll bring of others. My $300 went to Sherlock’s where every single person was masked. I won’t shop here again.

I typically shop at this store or the TNT Package on Hwy 5 since I live about right in the middle of the two off of E. Cherokee Dr. TNT is roughly 3 to 4 dollars cheaper across the board for the different items I purchase but this store is convenient due to being near the bank and baseball field so at times I pay the extra to not have to go out of my way. Today however when I was paying I noticed a sign on the counter stating that there would be an additional 3.99% surcharge for credit/debit payments. This place is already over priced and now they charge an additional credit card transaction fee. No thanks, Ill be going out of my way and solely shopping at the TNT from now on.

Nice liquor store and super friendly staff! Not sure why the peach crown royal that I purchased was $18 more than at other liquor stores in Roswell and Milton. I should have shopped around first, but who shops around for liquor??? So I purchased it and then a friend asked my how much and thats when I found put the price difference. Think I will stick to buying my liquor at Costco!

3.99% added without notification for credit card. The little sign is not sufficient. They already had higher prices. I will choose other shops from now on.UPDATE: 10 months later, ran in for 1 emergency item with company over and this place is still scamming hickory flat locals. Dont shop here. Uncle Jacks is 3 minutes up the road.

Hickory Liquor is great! The staff is always courteous and helpful. Ive had nothing but great service. The store is always fully stocked and have it all. We are fortunate to have this store in our community.

Honestly, I dont see how this place is getting such bad reviews. As a big time wine and bourbon fanatic, I find that this place has an excellent selection of everything. There is always someone on the floor who has recommended some great stuff. I have even found a bottle of wine that I havent been able to find anywhere. After years of living in Hickory Flat and dealing with Uncle Jacks, I find this place to be a rather refreshing change.

Employee sold me a special, hard to find bourbon for $34.99. Turns out I can buy it all day long at my regular package store for $22.99-$24.99. Shame on me. Shame on them. Buyer beware. My entire neighborhood will know about this one shortly.

Went in to buy a gift. A well-stocked store with broad selection. The prices are good and some a lower than I expected. The staff knew their stock well and were eager to help.

Was in to purchase wine, asked them if they could stock my favorite Rum, they took my name and number and never called me back. When I called back I got a manager who was full of lines like its hard to keep up with all the requests etc. When I told him they said they volunteered to check it out he still have excuses. He hung up on me when I told him they must not want my business. I simply cant believe how rude some people in the retail business can be to customers.

I would give no starts if I could. We show up at 11:30am on a Saturday which is during open hours and they are closed. As we are sitting there wondering what’s up an employee walks up. We ask her if there open and reply’s they are having employee issues. So we ask if we can come in and she ignores us and walks inside. So rude.

Who doesnt love a liquor store??? The employee that waited on me was helpful pointing me in the direction I needed to buy the perfect birthday gift...will go to this store again!!!

Its not just the beer thats cold as ice. The clerk, a fellow from South Asia, did not respond to a friendly hello by myself and my wife when entering, did not speak except to ask for the money, and had a hateful scowl on the entire time we were there. We didnt bother him, we bought expensive Vodka which they make a nice profit on, the guy was just not cut out for a retail job. Might pass muster where hes from, but not with me. Ill shop elsewhere.

Ive been here numerous times now, and for some leaving negative reviews its obvious what your really about, complaining about store size and not being profitable. I personally buy my Basil Hayden here simply because its 9 bucks cheaper than the other stores in my area. Also yes the overseas guy as mentioned by some jackwagon, has helped me plenty of times with scotch and bourbon selection. Only place I go and recommend.
