After calling a few local mechanics, Shottenkirk Hyundai was the first available/willing place to help me in a time-crunch. The sound of my Hyundai’s turn signals would not cease, and I wanted to get this problem resolved within 24 hours.I visited GA planning to stay less than three days. On May 27, while driving from MD, the problem started. I called Shottenkirk the next day. Joseph was a good listener and understood my time-sensitive situation. Shottenkirk had my car fixed by May 29: the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend!The Shottenkirk team diagnosed my cars trouble within a few hours. It made extra calls to expedite procurement of the replacement part. The team stayed late to repair the car. Maybe this is why the bill was a little higher than expected, but I did greatly value their effort.I think Shottenkirk Hyundai really cares about a customers experience. It went the extra mile to return my car as soon as possible and have me driving home with peace of mind.

We bought a new car from Shottenkirk Hyundai, and although we are satisfied with our car, we are not satisfied with the numerous mistakes they made with the documentation. Very careless and irresponsible handling of the documentation.They made mistakes while typing the order of our names in the registration tag as well as financing documents. At the time of purchase, there was a college grad program running which gave a discount of 400$. However, we have not received that discount till date. Furthermore, they said they will finance with Capital One, and we get mail that the financing has been done with a completely different bank. All this was done without our approval. The documents for the financing had mistakes in our names.When you call them to fix these errors, they either do not answer your call or forward the call among themselves without taking any responsibility and without correcting their mistakes. I have called them more than 15 times. They have good selection of cars, but their customer service is terrible. Make sure to check everything before leaving the dealership as they do not care once they have sold their car.

Pedro Caraballo is the name of my new friend. This is my second car I purchased from my new friend. Six months ago I walked into the dealership with my son to purchase his first new car. I bought a 21 Sonata that day and made a friend. He took the time to explain not only the car but gave my son good financial advice. As a mom I appreciate all positive energy shown to my kids. I have now purchased a 22 Elantra for my daughter from Mr. Pedro Caraballo. The funniest part of the story is my son and I agreed before arriving at Shottenkirk Hyundai we were not buying a that day. I always try to work with dealerships online before visiting. This one was a real struggle, actually the worst so far. I was ready to show up and buy the car that instant if they would have answered my one question. I asked 4 times to know what additional fees they were going to charge for a vehicle. The car was already showing up as about $1,600 over MSRP. Ive seen these marked up as much as $4,800 over MSRP, and it has been difficult to find the car I wanted, so I was willing to cough up the extra $1,600, but I wanted to know if there were additional fees they would charge.Over the 4 exchanges, they repeatedly deflected my question despite my increasing and obvious annoyance. Until finally (and this is why they get 1-star), I received this response I can try to offset any extra charges with your trade. How am I supposed to take this? The only way that I can see taking this is to assume they want to increase/decrease(?) the fees until they can have my possible trade in for free. Shouldnt a dealership have consistent fees, and it not be a moving target? I know one that I trust shopping at would.Before these horrible interactions online, I was actually happy they were showing an additional $1,600 above MSRP on their website. Most dealerships havent had the guts to say what they want to sell a car for. Unfortunately, even with the added amount, this one still wont say what they are willing to sell a car.

Based on the reviews, I’m convinced people either don’t know no better or this dealership is paying for it’s reviews. They is a reason they refuse to tell you the out-the-door price over the phone or even allow you to take a printout of the quote home with you. Cheap way to get you into the dealership so they can strong arm you, while avoiding paper trails of their low blow prices.They tried to sell me a 2021 Hyundai Elantra base trim for $33700. I went up to Auto-nation and bought the 2022 Elantra SEL trim for $24500. Saved $9500 for a later year and higher trim(+ tint and wheel & tire dealer warranties). This dealership will try to sell you warranties that Hyundai already offers for free with nothing added on top.Don’t buy into the whole “we the only one carrying this model” shtick…Easy solution, go on hyundaiusa.com, pick your car and sort dealerships based on price within a mile radius of your choosing. You’ll see many-MANY dealerships offering the same car for way less, that’s how I found Autonation. They’re a lot of Hyundai dealerships around you, no need to allow yourself to be ripped off.Hope this helps and good luck!!

Stay away from this absurdly overpriced place....While searching for a new Hyundai, I came across this dealership. I was surprised to see how much inventory they currently have in stock. But, now I know why - their prices are absolutely absurd. Period. As of 11/08/21, this is by far the most expensive dealership I have ever dealt with. For instance, they are selling the 2022 Elantra with MSRP of $21,240 for $26,140. There is a $4,600 (23% of MSRP) worth of fat, including an absolutely insane $2,800 (13% of MSRP) Market Adjustment Fee. Please see the picture attached and stay away from this place (prices were obtained on 11/08/21.) You can just go across the street to Cherokee County Toyota - they have a $0 documentation fee and you will probably never pay more than a sticker price... Or, find another dealership - I got a couple quotes from Rick Case Hyndai that were thousands below Shottenkirks pricing; i.e. Drive out price on 2022 Elantra SEL @ $24,285.33. The bottom line here, you should be able to get a new Hyundai cheaper pretty much anywhere else. So, dont be a sheep and stay away from Shottenkirk!

Sales man didn’t no anything about the car, when asking questions he would say yes it has this but when we tested it out it showed the car didn’t. Salesman was very pushy, kinda like all he wanted to do was make a sale but didn’t care about us as customers. Everyone else was nice. I don’t remember the salesperson name but I wish I did I would say beware of him.

We bought a 2021 Santa Fe SEL on Memorial Day. Our salesman, Pedro, was wonderful! He listened to what we were looking for. He didn’t try to push another car onto us. Pedro was funny, outgoing and most of all not your typical salesman. He thoroughly explained the features the Santa Fe had. I asked if we could see another color with a different interior and he said, “ of course! You’re buying a car. Not a candy bar.” Meaning I could see as many options as I wanted. When it came down to financing, that process was painless. He negotiated with us and we told him an amount we wanted to pay a month. The very first time, they were able to get us in our price range. We were very impressed. If you’re looking for a new car, or a used one, Shottenkirk Hyundai is where you need to go, and Pedro is your guy!

Salesman Ed was helpful, responsive and all around nice guy. I called ahead and made an appointment and they had my vehicle prepped when I got there for test drive. He was patient and answered all of my questions. Was then called and told if I give a 5-star review that will give me a gift card for dinner.Was also told1. That model has lots of issues (2017 Tucson)2. Bernard was the best car salesman I’ve ever worked with: transparent, friendly, not too pushy. He stayed late to make sure our new car was detailed before handing it over (and I’m pretty sure he helped with the detailing, because the team had already gone home).The dealership was clean and open, which was nice because most people weren’t wearing masks (one salesman scoffed at us for wearing masks, but most employees seemed at least respectful of health and safety concerns). They are partnering with an animal shelter to do a dog adoption event—not related to car buying, but just extra points for the dealership in general. Luckily, they did not have dogs on the premises, or we surely would have ended up going home with a new car and a new dog.I would recommend working with Bernard to anyone heading to Shottenkirk Hyundai!

Everything seemed fine when we bought our vehicle in April, but I’ve been trying to resolve issues for almost 4 months and can’t even get a call back. They seem to have everything together on the surface, but buyer beware if any issues arise.Update following the post “From the owner”. Unfortunately it’s more of the same. I called the number provided only to be told “we don’t respond to posts like that, did it have a name on it”. I’m not surprised that it was a generic response to the post, but it says a lot when the number provided is routed to the main receptionist that takes all the other calls and they don’t know how to route the call. They put me on hold to “find a manager”, but then came back with the same story I’m told every time I call: “They’re in a meeting. I’ll give them your name and phone number and they will call you back as soon as they get out.” I have yet to receive the call back. This is the frustration with Shottenkirk. Once the deal is done, they refuse to even talk to you about issues they created. I’ve had bad experiences with dealerships, but I’ve never had one that won’t return a simple phone call—until Shottenkirk.

I bought a 2021 Santa Fe a few days ago and it was the worst experience that I have ever had with a vehicle purchase. The finance guy tried to deceive us and sneakily put their dealership warranty plan (about $3,000) on our final contract without giving any notice or explanation. We argued so hard to opt that out and he never admitted his fault. Be careful! They will try to deceive you!

I was very impressed with everything Bernard Ehrlich did in assisting me and my daughter in our purchase. The thing I noticed more than anything was that if he did not know the answer to a question he did not guess or or embellish just to make the sale. He would simply take the time to ask. Richard is the one and only reason we bought a car from this dealership. I’ve only had Hyundais in the past so that is what drew me in. I’m so thankful we met Richard the 1st day we went to look at the car because he is the saving grace of this place. He was honest, kind, and it genuinely felt like he cared about our experience and us getting a good deal. He even managed to get us to be able to bring the car home for the night to test it out. We were going to do a trade in for the new one but that didn’t work out - no fault to hyundai we just weren’t ready to let go of our old car. Next day when we have to make a decision we were unfortunately set up with a different sales person. It’s like they were mad the trade fell through and the attitude was geared toward us. I felt pressured and overwhelmed. It felt like a typical car sale where the sales man doesn’t care about anything but the money. I understand people need to make a check and I’m sure that kind of business works with other people but not me. As much as I wanted to walk, like I said previously, Richard was truly the only reason we stayed. It’s car salesmen like him that really sell and keep business. Thank you Richard!

I have called multiple times about this issue and have not received any calls back. There is never anyone available to take a call. I was talking to the loan manager via email about this issue yesterday, only after I had to email him since he wasnt responding to the messages I had left with the receptionist. I was very surprised to learn of him no longer working there today when I called and asked for him. I need the tracking number for the check that was mailed for taxes on the truck I bought on July 22, 2021. Also, while filling out the paperwork and signing for the purchase, I had an issue about the line item listed ETHOS GROUP VSC with a charge of $6050. I was told it was for the price of the loan. This was explained as being the interest to be paid on the loan for the vehicle. After further consideration, I am under the impression that this is a charge for the warranty Shottenkirk requires to be purchased. I clearly remember signing paperwork without this charge on it. However, the principal owed on the truck does not reflect the principal shown on paperwork that was signed. This caused a significant increase in my monthly payment. I was told the warranty was $600 and could not be voided, however I would have never agreed to a $6000 warranty on this truck since I live in a different state and will not be bringing it back to be repaired. I was told during the purchase that everything signed would be available online. The only thing available to me is the copy that was signed on an iPad, not the hardcopy we talked over, and the warranty information. I know there was a large envelope with more paperwork signed. This all seems very unprofessional and I want to warn others of the terrible customer service and unexpected charges you are offering.

Visiting multiple dealerships, I wasnt getting the results I wanted in my new car buying process. Bernard reached out to me from an inquiry made through a vehicle car interest search. The day he called me, I had an appt with another dealership, but he persuaded me to come see him. I told him what I wanted and what my car buying max was,. With that in mind, me and my boyfriend drove out to Canton, from Roswell, and met with Bernard. Being very personable and appreciative of the business and listening to what it is I wanted in a car, he showed us the car I was looking to purchase. We sat down to make the deal, but the deal did not pan out. The next day, I received a phone call from the Bernard and the GM, saying we can make the deal. With a few Is dotted and Ts crossed, I was happy and elated about getting the car I wanted at a price that I wanted, and I have Bernard and the GM to thank for making that happen. Though it was a drive, I was happy I made the drive, happy about the purchase and happy with the relationship I built.

“We care about our customers” is what Dylan stated when I was interested in a truck. Explained my concern about rust and he told me everything was perfect. I’m out of state and was rushed to put a deposit down since they were “holding” the truck so I put one down March 19, the day before I viewed the truck Turns out, truck has a lot of rust unlike what Dylan stated and a few other issues. I tried calling, Dylan declined the call so I sent a message and he replied instantly stating I would receive a refund March 20th. I’ve been calling a billion times in the past 4 weeks. I spoke with Brandon who lied about calling back in less than 2min, Tony who apparently was a “new manager” who also lied and didn’t return my call. Dylan isn’t answering calls or messages anymore. Dylan was great in the beginning when I was interested in the truck but once I turned it down, the true colors shoes of this so called “sales representative” who cares about “customer service”. Once you aren’t interested, they don’t want to talk with you. Definitely unprofessional dealership that needs to fix things and give my $500 deposit back. I still have not received my refund in my bank or any calls confirming my refund. I DO NOT recommend putting any deposits down until you have viewed the vehicle. Definitely one of the worst experiences with a dealership. Just some screenshots of the multiple messages containing lies about the refund that I’m still waiting on.UPDATE:I have finally received the refund 1 month later right after I posted this review.

One of the poorest dealer we have seen. They have something called Market value adjustment and there dealer packages which bump up the price to $9000 more on MSRP. Sales team with very very poor communication skills, talking to them seems this dealer is selling the world last car.

Went to look at a car and was asked to sit down to wait while I thought they were going to get the car to look at. Before driving or even seeing the car, I was being asked about my credit score and how much I was putting down, and all kinds of stuff that should be asked a little further into the sale, as there were 3 salespeople standing around me, one being one of the managers.Not the way I like to like to do business. Then the next morning the calls and texts (5-10 texts and calls) started and they literally blew up our phone with 2 or 3 people calling even after telling them we were going another direction. Went to another Hyundai dealership, drove the car, liked it and told him we would be in touch and no pressure of any type. Will probably buy the car but definitely not from this dealership.

This dealership struggled a lot to open before their intended date, but due to demand for vehicles they decided to go ahead and open, and I must say these people worked very hard everyday to get the dealership open and functioning. I went their with a price and mind and got exactly what I was looking for! My sales rep Pedro worked very hard to get me what I wanted, and was very communicative to me every step of the way. Even though they did not have their full inventory in stock, Pedro worked diligently to get my car there and ready to go, and I got the exact car I wanted in the color I wanted, not available at any other dealership, great job Shottenkirk!! This place is the best place to buy a new or used vehicle. I have never in my life had better customer service when buying a new car. Ed Denovellis went above and beyond in my opinion. So did the manager and finance team Joe, Joey and Hassan. I have Tourette’s Syndrome and my tics make it very hard to drive sometimes and I find myself pulling over so much on my way home that a 45 min drive takes me around 5 to 6 hours. The car I purchased a 2021 Hyundai Elantra has all of the driver assist features that really help driving with Tourette’s. The peace of mind this car has given me is amazing. Shottenkirk Hyundai is tucked over behind Shottenkirk Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, passed Chevrolet of Canton and across from Cherokee County Toyota. I didn’t know it was there until a google search looking for a car to fit my needs led me to them. I have never had a good overall experience buying vehicles until going to Shottenkirk Hyundai. They didn’t pressure me or confuse me or take advantage of me. I had a trade in and was given a very fair price for it. I was also blown away by how much my interest rate went down along with my car payment. Then there is the warranty that comes with their new vehicles it beats and exceeds what I was expecting compared to when I bought my Jeep the Hyundai includes 3 years / 36k miles of worry free maintenance that in and of itself is is out of this world. I am so overly happy and grateful to each and every one of the employees especially my salesman Ed Denovellis for doing what they do and for helping me navigate through the entire process of purchasing a new vehicle. If you are looking for a new or used vehicle take my advise and go to Shottenkirk Hyundai of Canton and be blown away by the amazingness that they create for you. I am now a customer for life!
