A great place with true no competition pricing!! Great place for first time home owners to get their home furnished for unbelievable low prices!! Now I have personally been to many places that sell things for the home and home renovations like furniture, doors, paint, tile, siding, and other odds and ends and general products, but no store in NE Ohio of this genre can even come close to the stellar pricing, wide selection, and top notch staff as Habitat for Humanity Restore. Take my word for it, save yourself some time, and go here just to see... You will thank me later!!
Nice and big on the inside and they do have some good deals on alot of there stuff
Be very careful what you donate to this place as their dumpster is always full. The stuff they throw away is completely mind-boggling, were talking brand new stuff donated from one of the box stores or local contractors. Theres a reason they keep their dumpster behind a chain-link enclosure with cameras watching it. They dont want you to see whats inside. The stuff they sell is drastically overpriced for what it is, a lot of stuff you can buy cheaper at Home Depot. Ill be completely honest here I got in some trouble and had to do community service so I chose habitat for Humanity because Ive been in the construction trades for more than 30 years. To say the least I was shocked by the amount of donations that goes straight into the dumpster. Im not talking about broken or damaged goods a lot of the stuff is better than the stuff they put on the floor. They really need to evaluate the leadership at least at the store level. I gave them one star because I couldnt give them 0.
Great place to look for used furniture if you are trying to furnish an apartment for a college student or someone in need but cant afford new. We learned today Saturday morning is the time to go. Many new donations were out for purchase
Amazing store and some of the best deals on home improvement items, sinks, toilets, cabinets, and such. Great staff as well, very friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are set, so no discounts.. you should really check out the great stuff there.
Store is somewhat clean. Roof was leaking at a steady rate onto a dining room table they were selling. A couple emoyees saw it and shrugged it off. It looked like a nice finished table. The couches were a real treat. A couple of the couch frames had completely different cushions on it from another couch. Not enough room to navigate all of the furniture section. One person going through the aisles is a struggle, two trying to get through, forget about it.They have a lot of furniture(couches, loves eats, recliners, rockers and end tables.Lots and lots of end tables and coffee tables. They also have an eclectic selection of housewares. Up the ramp to the upper section is the diy area. The lighting is poor, but there is a multitude of construction pieces and remodeling fixtures. The prices have went up, the quality of some of the items is questionable. The good thing is, if you have an imagination you can, paint or refinish a piece. The money taken in goes to a very worthy cause, so I ignore the shortcomings. Of course after browsing, I usually leave with a cart full of items. If you like to browse, are a handyman or handy woman, you will like it here. If you like going to the area thrift stores, this is the place for you.
Love this place. They have everything you can think of
You never know what you might find at the Habitat for Humanity restore. There’s new things; old things and gently use things. There’s rust and dust and things to lust for.Vintage goods & cool range hoods; comfy chairs and pictures in pairs. It’s always worth a look. For furniture, pictures or glassware. Nails; tacs and pads for stairs. Faucets sinks and toilet seats. You should look 👀 cause it’s inexpensive and they have hooks.
You never know what you will find. I have all kinds of hardware from 30 years working on cars. I found three drawer units that hold parts bins. I paid big money for two units I purchased years ago. I paid $2.00 each. For the units they had. Now I am even more organized.
Restore has just about everything and anything you need/want for your home! Went yesterday with my family to have our son pick out a dresser. Found a beautiful dresser with a mirror that has lights in it for a price so low we couldnt believe it! The staff are so helpful and so kind...we will definitely be returning 😁
I used to love shopping at restore. I was in the store yesterday and wanted to look at a rug. I asked if they could have someone help unroll it so I could see see it better. They called someone to help. I waited and waited. No one came then two employees come waking by so I asked for help and they said they would help as soon as they could. Again I waited and waited so I finally left. I called today to see if it was still there and they said they werent sure that I could come in and look. If I wanted to do that I wouldnt have called. Not sure if they are short staffed or what but the few employees I asked for help werent very helpful. The quality of the stuff in there was pretty poor and the place is half empty. Maybe they will close their doors soon. Im less than thrilled to shop there anymore .
Excellent place to shop for second hand items, especially construction items. Friendly and helpful staff. Prices very reasonable.
Large store and clean inside. Good variety of wares for house and office. Prices are very modest nothing to hurt your wallet. Stock changes very fast, so if you have your eye on something I suggest you purchase it. My only gripe is that its off of a busy road, so if youre not looking its easy to drive past
The facility is clean & organized with a good selection of items.
Always find a good deal. Mostly used things its like a resale shop or is. Got nice piece of new carpet 12 dollars.
You must wear a mask to enter. If youre looking for bargain prices on building materials this is a great opportunity for you. Some building supplies are new and some have been used, but most have been donated to Habitat. There are tiles, flooring paint, used appliances, electric needs as well as used furniture for sale. If you have unneeded building materials Habitat excepts donations for materials.
Great for bargain hunting.
This place is awesome. Weve been shopping here for years and aways find good things. Thanks former President Jimmy Carter.
Tons of goodies...Super Quality and Prices
First time going and it was pretty dope! Definitely plan on returning
Can find some hidden gems here. The dressers seemed over priced for their condition. But the store is definitely worth checking out.
Prices are pretty high for the price I would rather buy new
Excellent prices, beyond excellent really. Service was top notch.
Yesterday i gave them a 1 star review for pizza....needless to say that review was for a poop pizza place. I have nothing but good things to say about my local Re-store. I have 1 bed from there and 2 dressers. Sorry about that miss-post guys!
You should stay clear away from this place, they are taking advantage on all of us. they claim bargain. i was charged $80.00 plus tax for a 5 gallon of paint they said it was the best deal i could ever get for the paint, so i bought two 5 gallons of paint and paid over $160.00 dollars for the paint. a two days later i go to true value and they had 5 gallons of paint for $44.00. so if you are white you better stay away from these raciest people
Like yard sales. Changes every day. Donations accepted there. They dont way over price eerything. Reasonable resale prices.Nothing to do? Go look around.
A great place to do good and get reasonably priced furnishings, building supplies and home supplies. While almost all is used, you can find new donations from time to time. For anyone who loves projects its a great place to get solid pieces to restore or rework into stunning pieces.
I love this place! Great prices on everything. Building materials, furniture, dishes, books, home supplies...a bit of everything!
Staff very helpful
Large ReStore building thats very well organized.Compared to other ReStores in ohio:More desks, cabinets, shelves, couches, and books. MUCH cleaner, too. Fewer outdoor supplies (mowers, trimmers, etc.)
Great prices friendly and helpful staff.
I have gotten all of my furniture here. I love the mission and the quality of stuff I find here! If you’re on a budget and need anything from appliances to furniture, go check this place out!!
This store is the greatest place on this planet to get what you really need, we are blessed to have a store like this that helps people in return. I love this place just can’t stop shopping here once I get in the store, I want to buy everything I see, there are so many great deals and you have grown bigger and bigger. Thank-you for all you do for the less fortunate.
Super friendly staff. And a great selection of furniture and odd and ends.
We bought a love seat sofa. The staff was very helpful, especially the young men who loaded it for us.
This store has tons of house stuff and alot of furniture thats really inexpensive. Definitely coming back to furnish my house and save alot of money.
They discriminate against disabled, I have a lung issue and I can not wear a mask, although the CDC says I am an exception and do not need to wear a mask, they did not care what the law says. After nearly 7 years of donations, and support from me and at least 200 companies I do business with I am withdrawing all my support and Informing everyone and every company I work with to boycott them. What a disgrace! Must be a new Democrat running the Canton store.
The prices have jumped! I have been shopping at the restore for a few years, but in the last 18 months the prices are really getting up there. WHY? I love the mission of Habitat, I want to support be shopping there, but hard to justify. I might as well shop on craigslist or market place or a yard sale.
Very clean, the Staff was extremely nice, easy to find items. I would definitely come back.
Sometimes people on comment when they have a negative experience. I find it very important to take the time to recognize an exceptional employee. I shop restore whenever I am in the area and have talked with Beth several times. Not only is she very helpful/courteous, but I have always notice how hands on she is with the other workers and how hard she works. As a contractor who hires a lot of people for various types of work, it is refreshing to see someone who puts so much effort into her work! Trust me.. Its rare these days :(
I bought a recliner and IT HAS BED BUGS IN IT!!!!!!! BEWARE OF THIS PLACE...
I love finding unique things here, and its a great money saver for furniture. However the pricing doesnt make much sense. I recently bought a sturdy brand name end table in great shape for $19 but the table next to it that is watermarked, wobbly and just a piece of junk, was also $19. Nothing is priced by the quality, just by what type of furniture category it falls under. I would buy much more from here if the pricing were more fair.
Great buys, good place to keep coming back to see whats new, clean, friendly staff
Great deals on furniture, household items, carpets, big selection !
Very helpful unloading our donations! Friendly and courteous!
The Restore at Habitat is a very nice place to go when you are in need of gently used furniture, building materials, appliances, and household goods. This Habitat has great sales, too! Over the past few years, Ive purchased many items, including two wingback chairs, my gorgeous coffee table, and my super bathroom sink find! Wow! If you have items to donate, consider Habitat for Humanity. All proceeds from the Restore go to a worthy cause.
This used to be a nice place to make donations. Recently, however, Restore is very selective on what they accept. For example, I wanted to donate twenty 12 x 12 x 1/4 ceramic tile and I was advised they did not want it because it was only a small amount. This would have been enough to tile for a small room (bathroom, laundry room, fourier, etc) or mud area/entrance. Someone may have been looking for an accent piece or replacement pieces for an existing tile repair job. By the way, Goodwill and/or Salvation Army was happy to take the items.
I love shopping here! Its a great cause, the staff is always friendly and helpful, and they always have a huge selection! Tons of DIY possibilities can be found here. Their inventory changes daily so the fact that they post new inventory updates on their Facebook page is awesome! You can purchase over the phone or put items on hold for one hour. They also help you load large items into your truck. I will definitely be shopping again soon.
Great selection and staff
Great service and found more than I thought I would.
They have a great selection of unique finds for decorating, restoring or remodeling. The benefit to the communities it helps is a huge bonus. They always need donations also so consider giving something unused at home.
Nice place to browse and see what you can find.
Highest priced Restore I have been to, travel about an hour to go to the Akron one instead in order to find a good deal. Wish this one was a little more affordable so that I could put money into a community closer to my own. Nice staff and good experiences otherwise.
Nice store but their prices are too high. Some of their inventory sits for weeks because it’s overpriced. They would do better to lower prices and improve their inventory turnover. They have a ton of stuff stored in their back room just waiting to hit the floor. The restore by rolling acres mall has better prices.
Nice and clean store. If you are looking for good used furniture this is the place to be. Not much usable building materials. So, if you want to finish a building project you will not have any luck on getting the materials you need.
Hugh selection and very clean. Nice RwStore!
Great
I love going to the restore. Its a great place to find treasure, and it helps out the community.
Far for me. Would be great if I could shop frequently, but too far. Folks were very nice. Store is huge, gotta look alot for good stuff but its fun.
Wanted to donate a decent hutch, but when I called to schedule an appointment I was told they only pick up if you have more than one item. Seems pretty bad when most of the time that is all you have and it is to large to take to the store. So you missed getting a good piece of furniture, donated it to another charity that will pick it up.
Nice variety of items available, but prices are above retail.Hard to shop for used items that are priced high.
They have a LARGE selection of very nice, gently used items. I wanted to purchase paint and its great to see resources available to those who wish to recycle rather than purchase new. The staff is so kind as well!
They are super friendly and helpful
Staff is wonderful, I purchased a home improvement item at a fraction of the cost. L was pleased with my experience
You never know what treasures that you might find and the staff is great.
Before you head to home depot or Lowes, stop here first! Theres so many items to furnish, repair, or upgrade your home. Prices are amazing and they still give weekly discounts. Found 10 windows for $35. Not only are you saving HUGE amounts of money, but your giving back to the community. You cant ask for a better deal for everyone. 😁
Clean. Well lit. Organized.Staff is helpful. Proceeds go to a good cause. You never know when youll find a little treasure!
WARNING-BEWARE - I recently purchased a beautiful. Art Deco entrance door. I could not take it home for a few days. A sold tag was put on it but was NOT moved to the sold area as I was told it would. When I came to pick it up,...it was gone. A man came, tore my sold sign off, paid for it and drove away with my door. This actually is a felony due to the doors value. If the man can be IDd, I WILL prosecute. The store manager said, dont worry, this happens all the time, well refund your money. He then said Bad things happen to people every day around the world. Whatever that was supposed to mean. Ironically,...when I was waiting for my refund, I overheard an employee complaining that he would have to call a customer and tell her the same story, someone had bought a dresser shes already paid for. No excuse for this! If you see someone selling an entrance door with 3 round intersecting windows in it....it;s mine! Please let someone know,....thanks. So if you buy something there, take it with you immediately, before it grows legs, walks away...and youll never see it again. Poor business practice, poor management, and poor employees. I overheard one man in delivery talking to another that he could not wait to find another job and get the H### out of there. How professional! WARNING-BEWARE
I love habitat and all they do. But for the restore. I was very disappointed in their prices.. you use to go in there and get amazing stuff for great prices. Its sad because they get most of stuff from donation.
Walked in looking for an exhaust fan for the bathroom, walked out with a sleeper sofa for $30.00. Everyone is helpful and friendly. I always enjoy coming here.
The store needed better signage to direct people when making a donation. It was frustrating finding the correct door and doorbell. I am glad I was not in a hurry because it was quite the wild goose chase.
I live restore have bought many nice things on this 50% off deal this weekend is the area rugs on sale this is for the weekend of 8-5&6 2019
Fun shopping experience, awesome, helpful and friendly staff, and a great, local business to help support!
This place is a great resource for the DIYer. You just never know what you will find. They are friendly and helpful. I also love that they offer online info via newsletter and facebook.
Always find something at Restore!
Great prices on furniture that I refinish along with many other items that have a lot of life left in them.
Habitat for Humanitys ReSale store is an amazing place for cheap household items such as furniture, small appliances, and much more. If you cant take items that day they do a three day hold for you. All items are disinfected before they go on the sales floir and they are always running amazing specials. I shop here a lot especially when i have project at home that I need cheap material for.
Great place to look for used household goods and enable Habitat to create/refurbish homes.
Some good deals, some pricey. Look here before you go to a chain store. Its a great cause.
Some prices are way too high for items they got for free and dont bother to clean up even a little bit.
Found some great items.
Very busy,be prepared to take your time, other than that,if you like thrift stores, this ones for you!!
Used items at astronomical prices, things used to be priced to sell. I dont understand how a non profit organization charges so much for items that were donated. Every now and then you can find a deal but its rare.
Good used stuff some priced high some low u need to know prices so u dont over pay
Some things are well priced, others are very close to the same if you buy it new. You have to pay attention to find a good deal
Great store. Go there first .
I love habitat but their prices are definitely too high its donated Goods you could sell it and move it a lot cheaper if you drop the price hell Ive seen stuff in theyre more expensive than you can buy it for it to store new
This Samuel F, Excellant Manager and staff. Professiinal and caring .
Nice helpful staff
Always love a trip there ypu never know what you will find.
It was easy to find and the staff was beyond helpful!
They have a lot of interesting items from houses and the prices are pretty reasonable is this is a store that reclaims materials from homes and resells it this money supports habitat for humanities Home Building efforts
Friendly staff! Great deals--especially on sale days! Ive always found the prices to be fair.
Very good deals and one of my favorite places to donate household goods
I love Habitat. This one is especially spacious and always has alot of great desk and table options.
Much stuff was gone. Was busy for them, staff was Happy. Hard to find someone to help you
I love this place theyre always friendly and great service and theyre good on the prices
Loved it
