I was looking for a new salon and a friend recommended Bambu. I made an appointment online and took the plunge. Im so glad I did.The salon is clean and cute. They are taking precautions to keep customers and themselves safe while still being personable. Everyone was courteous and we started right on time.Christine was great. We talked through what color/look I was going for. She did her color magic along with a cut. I appreciate that I wasnt there all day!I love my new look for spring. I recently moved to this area and was looking for a true Aveda salon. Luckliy, I found Bambu in Canton! The salon itself is aesthetically pleasing, with a calming ambiance as well as all of the great Aveda natural scents. I have been impressed with Christine’s knowledge of hair coloring practices, and she always works with you to get the result you are looking for.

I went for a root touch up and they have taken awesome measurements to protect their hair stylists and clients alike. They take your temperature before coming in, sanitize everything, have social distancing in place, will provide a mask for a dollar or bring one in to wear for your appt, and they are not blow drying hair just in case of water droplet spread. Not only all of this during this hectic time, but they also did a wonderful job. I recommend Alexis for any hair coloring! Just be sure to be careful when booking and do not come in if youre feeling unwell at all, safety is important for this business and their clients.

Excellent salon and very pleasant experience.

After losing my long-time stylist for medical reasons, I was in a panic to get an appointment quickly for my root touch up. Bambu was able to schedule me within a few days of my call with Alexis. The salon had a very peaceful ambiance. I received a complimentary hand massage while I sipped on Strawberry Lemonade Infused Water. Alexis consulted with me prior to beginning the process and was an absolute charm.

My two daughters and I have been going to this salon for over 5 years. Very pleased with the service. They listen to what you’d like to do with your hair and let you know whether it will work for your hair type. I’ve been told that a style I liked wouldn’t work with my hair and was given options that would - loved my hair and received many compliments! Highly recommend!

As always, I love coming here! Im always greeted pleasantly and offered tea, water, or coffee while I wait. I met with Alexis this time, and she was fantastic! I told her what I wanted and she walked me through what she could do. She explained to me a quick and easy way to get the look I want and demonstrated how to by styling my hair. She gave me suggestions on some products I could use to help as well.

Excellent service and price. I called and got me an appointment within an hour. My hairstyle looks amazing. I got lots of compliments on my hair since then.

Bambu Salon has a great atmosphere, starting when you walk in the door. Im always greeted by a friendly face at each of my appointments. The salon offers a great selection of services including nails and eyebrow waxes; which I love including with my routine color and cuts. However, the quality of work by my stylist, Meghan, is what keeps me coming back! She is detailed with both my cuts and color services. I am always satisfied and confident with my hair when I walk out of the salon door!

I’ve been going to Bambu and seeing Alexis for at least 6 months. The service is always excellent, my colour is exactly what I was looking for and she’s great at suggesting small colour changes that enhance the look. Everyone is friendly, polite and welcoming.

I have been going to Bambu for over a year. Alexis and the salon itself have been amazing. I’ve had my hair done at many highend salons and never had the service I’ve had at Bambu. I’m naturally a brunette with aging gray hair. Alexis has given me beautiful blended gray that looks naturally blonde without a brassy look that I have gotten in the past. Thank you Alexis and Bambu for giving me the hair I’ve always longed for.

Bambu Salon is a beautifully decorated, and clean environment that I enjoy very much. I have enjoyed having my nails done at the quaint and professional area of the salon. Clare did a fantastic job as well!Christine and the other stylists are very skilled and were able to help with my daughters damaged hair, with a great stylish cut, great Aveda color, and a deep conditioning treatment. I have been coming to Bambu since my stylist, Jenn, started here. Christine has created an intimate, calming environment without the drama that you get at larger salons. The service is excellent all around and the entire staff is friendly and engages with you, even if you arent their client. I highly recommend the salon and am constantly impressed by their technical knowledge of color and the staffs continuing education. Honestly, I cant say enough great things about Bambu... you just have to go and experience it for yourself!

Bambus staff is highly trained, extremely friendly, and a pleasure to spend time with. Bambu has a very calming, and restorative environment. The services offered are extensive and the products they offer are environmentally responsible and wide ranging. Ive never gotten so many compliments on my hair. Bambu Salon has made my move to the north Georgia mountains a much more pleasurable experience.

I absolutely love this salon! It is such a relaxing place and since I started only using Aveda products, my hair is so much healthier! I love getting my hair colored and cut by the same stylist, Christine the owner does both. While my color sits, I get sweet Claire to do my gel fill on my nails!

Went here to repair a bad hair cut/color from another salon and am so glad I did. Aveda products are used at Bambu and Christina did a miracle job fixing my hair. The girl burned my ear and scalp with the bleach she was using on my hair. The owner didnt seem concerned at all and blamed it on me saying I have sensitive skin. In all the years Ive bleached my hair this has never happened to me. I will never return.

I called in on a Sunday and was easily able to get an appointment on Wednesday. When I got there, it wasnt especially crowded but my haircut was exactly what I wanted and Megan (sorry if I spelled it wrong) was very helpful with deciding the details of the hair and went quickly to work. My hair looks and feels great! And the price for an Aveda salon cut is fantastic -$32 including tip! I imagine prices vary with who you get.

From the moment I walked in and the Aveda aroma hit me, I knew it was going to be a wonderful experience. Luce highlighted and cut my hair. While the color was developing, I was able to get a pedicure. Killed two birds with one stone which is important when youre a mother of two and on borrowed time! I left there feeling beautiful instead of intimidated or overcharged like I had at some other salons. Bambu is wonderful and has a customer for life!

Ive been coming to Bambu since it opened its doors in 2011. Christine has been my stylist for over 11 years. (She does my 3 kids too!) Shes wonderful, the salon is calm and peaceful, the staff are always friendly and helpful! The extras are a treat - from hand massages / neck massages to manis and pedis. Claire is wonderful!

Very professional .. Up to date on all new techniques and styles and color . I highly recommend this salon.

While the environment is extremely calming and clean, my stylist did not do what I asked her to do. I wanted a dark reddish blonde. Note that I said red. I came out with a dark brownish red. Nothing like the picture. And when I told her to put blonde in it she put one blonde streak right in the front. It faded badly too. Would not recommend my stylist and also made me pay more than they originally asked which was originally 170 and I ended up paying 190 when she told me that she had to do more things. Things I didnt ask for. Now Im trying to go back to my original color from this dark brown and its going to take me two appointments to get back. Am not going back to this salon.
