I loved this place. Matthew was so welcoming and knowledgable about the different kinds of coffee. I had an espresso shot was nicely done and balanced. And 2 12oz bags of coffee to try I also like their packaging and their friendly atmosphere definitely will visit again..

I was recommended this coffee brand through a the trade coffee subscription, and I was not disappointed. I opened my package in the mail and immediately smelt the freshness. These beans make the perfect French press cold brew coffee. I add a little bit of almond milk and put it in a travel mug for college. It has definitely cutdown on my Starbucks cravings.

They deserve their five stars! From the road, you drive into the parking lot, which feels like a driveway to a home. The outside and inside of the business are clean and inviting. The moment that you enter the building, you are met by the warmest (and most authentic-seeming) welcome. None of the employees come off as pretentious or condescending, which is rare with places like this. I usually feel nervous entering any business, especially a hip one, with my two toddlers and a baby, but this staff has been nothing but sweet toward me and my children. They are also totally open to questions and want to be informative. Their service alone would be enough for me to give five stars, but luckily, their coffee is absolutely delicious to top it off. Im currently working toward drinking all decaf (although I am currently at 2/3 decaf, 1/3 caff), and I have never tasted decaf as great as theirs. It tastes exactly like regular coffee (Ive tried other brands Swiss water process decaf, and none compare to Almas). It could be the exceptional service tainting my tastebuds in their favor, but Ill take it! Their regular coffees are obviously amazing too, and my husband has said that he cant go back to drinking mainstream coffee now, so we are subscribers (Our first subscription package is out for delivery when I just signed up yesterday morning! Amazing!) Im so grateful to live so close to such a wonderful coffee source, and I am so glad that I finally decided to try it out!

This place is absolutely amazing. Tried two of their light roast and they had some of the best coffee Ive ever had. Their dark roast is great too. Craving to come back to this place and cant wait to try another roast. Also everyone here was so friendly and super helpful. Also very informative on where the coffee came from and the story of the coffee from berry to bag.

Great coffee run by an amazing group of people and amazing staff. Alma always has a great selection of Coffee (usually ~8-10+ choices) as well as seasonal offerings. Would highly recommend. Somewhat easy to miss when driving, as its set up a bit on a hill.They have a pop-up coffee stand inside as well.

The atmosphere a Alma Coffee is amazing, it was really nice to visit there. The owner Harry is very kind and super patient to recommend in great detail about the whole coffee making process, It was very helpful. Everyone at the shop is very nice and it’s so cool to see the coffee being roasted right in front of you. I bought a bag of PASSION (medium-dark roast) coffee and a bag of ENCHANTED (dark roast) coffee and also bought CHAI latte flavor. I ordered the enchanted coffee online. i had some questions about the grind size for an espresso, so I emailed them. they told me that if I added it to the notes, theyd grind it for espresso. they responded quickly and professionally. when I placed my order, it arrived within 3 days and it was packaged nicely. the coffee smells amazing and they did grind it perfectly! I thought itd be bitter since it went through the mail and it smells like it would be, but its smooth and chocolatey. I really enjoy this coffee.

We found Alma through Trade Coffee and were surprised to find them only a few miles from where we lived. We loved the coffee and mission of farm to roasting in the family that we started a subscription with them. Huge fans!!

I just tried my third flavor from Alma coffee and even with high expectations, it was better than I imagined (San Sebastian). It truly is the best coffee Ive ever had. The soulmate is also incredible, along with Passion. Im 3 for 3 with Alma coffee flavors! The people that work there are fantastic. I highly recommend them in a heartbeat!

Local favorite with excellent quality beans. No greasy residue to muck up my machine and excellent flavor. The smells in the shop are heavenly, but you can always go for delivery. I love the fact that they allow for filling and refills of canister versus wasting bags. Highly recommend!!!

Our experience with Alma Coffee Roastery began with a brief phone call with a young lady who promptly answered my questions. We could hear her smiling through the phone when I asked if there was space near the facility to park my semi-truck and trailer. She assured me that we would be able to get our rig in and out. Upon showing up we were greeted with an audience of captivated faces while we hauled our 64’ of steel and rubber into the bodacious parking lot for the freshest cup of the finest roasted coffee in the northern hemisphere. As we exited our truck we were enveloped in the aroma of thousands of pounds of coffee beans stored in the climate controlled roastery to which we gazed upon with pure adoration while ordering our morning joe. I had a Latte and my wife a Chai Tea. The moment the espresso machine churned and the beans delivered their sweet and full bodied nectar into my cup, I knew greatness was our next stop. Lest I forget to mention the heart shaped froth sitting atop the robust espresso, the experience was likened to my fondest memories with those near and dear to my heart. If you’re over the road, on the go; or simply looking for friendly faces who share a passion, do yourself and others the favor by skipping the big box chop shops and go straight to Alma Coffee Roastery.

I just went to Alma Coffee Roastery for the first time and I’m already in love. I got the iced blackberry basil latte and it was beyond delicious plus I ended up getting 3 bags of beans because the coffee is that good. Everyone in there was so friendly, so welcoming. A special shout-out to Harry for answering all my many questions and making my family and I feel so at home. He seriously was so kind and helpful. If you are looking for top of the line coffee+ such a fun environment— go to Alma!

The two times I’ve been in staff went well out of their way to be helpful and genuinely friendly and the products are great. I look forward to coming in again and trying more flavors.Fresh roasted beans (and they roast them here daily) is by far the most important quality element you can bring to your coffee making. It makes a BIG difference, most especially if you have an espresso machine. Coffee is the way most of us start every one of our days so do it right.

Visiting from Denver and not familiar with the coffee scene in Atlanta but found this gem and it is LEGIT. Oatmilk cappuccino was on point. Excellent, pure, ethical coffee and charming space. Loved it all.

Don’t be an amateur and buy grocery store beans. Alma is legit: Buy freshly roasted beans from this couple instead. The roasting facility is impeccable. They sell beans on site and brew a variety of drinks as well. Support local business and know that you’re getting incredible quality as well.

Stellar coffee roaster! Weve stopped by on a few trips from Atlanta to the Blue Ridge mountains to stock up on coffee for the weekend, and have added Alma as one of our favorite Atlanta-area roasters. Their patio is wide open, and they keep the warehouse doors open so you can get a good peek on the ins and outs of the coffee business. They occasionally offer espresso beverages in addition to selling beans; I highly recommend stopping by when they are.

My wife & I have VERY discriminating palates regarding our coffee selections. We were pleasantly surprised to discover this superb local coffee roastery in the area we live in. We have found Almas coffee to be superb in every way and even better, in our opinion humble opinion, than some of the well-known national brands and chains that we all know but I will not name here. Our preferred roast is the whole bean version of Soulmate which we have found to be equal or better to the Starbucks Guatemala blend (which we are no longer able to obtain).

I joined a coffee club and this was the first bag they sent me OMG I love it I have been drinking Starbucks Costa Rican and keep getting expired bags off Amazon as its not sold in the stores anymore near me so this tastes like similar to that but way better I just wish it was more affordable.

Everything to love is here. Great beans, great people and a great environment. You can get samples of coffee when you buy bags of coffee beans but if you want one of their delicious cappuccinos go visit their coffee shop right down the road at The Circuit.Try to come to one of the many events that Cherokee and Woodstock host here and meet the Alma team and locals.Farm to cup. Their family has their own coffee plantations in Honduras and they bring those beans here to Holly Springs to roast. They try and use every part of the coffee plant which makes them eco friendly and planet conscious. They even have cups made from the plant of coffee beans.Last I heard they have a goal to locally source all their dairy which is fantastic.

Last time I came here Harry helped me, I wanted to get a last minute Christmas gift for my mother. Super patient with me! By the way Mom said the coffee is amazing! I also, bought a bag for myself. Of course I ran out, and tho I know its local I just didnt have time to get to the store, so I went to the website and placed my order. I received my order in a few days and was able to enjoy the delicious coffee! Definitely visit this place, order from them, Laticia and Harry love their product and really care about their customers!

Edit: Im changing this to 3 stars solely because the owner Leticia is incredible. My 1st issue they corrected the issue immediately by sending me two free bags, and the 2nd issue they corrected by refunding me my purchase entirely. When I had emailed to cancel the subscription I never indicated I wanted a refund and Leticia did so without a 2nd thought, even though theyre a small business. Quite literally a small business. Their business is in the back yard of their house! By no means is this a bad thing. Their facility is super top notch and ultra high quality. But their rotation service is something they do manually. They dont have a system to track which roasts / origins a customer has received in prior orders, so they track it all by hand Im assuming? Im not sure how that process works, but I wish the attentiveness that Leticia has shown towards me was the same attentiveness the fulfillment team shows towards managing their rotation subscription.Original Review:Their Coffee is delicious but their rotation subscription service needs some tender love and care. Three different months Ive received the same bags of coffee, and being charged a premium for the rotation subscription. If I wanted the same two bags every month, I would have chosen the cheaper version. My 2nd month their system had an error and swapped me to an entirely different subscription, and yet they still managed to send me the same two Soulmate bags. I had called to complain, they fixed the error and sent me two free bags.Today, I received my supposedly corrected subscription and to my dismay received the same two bags of Soulmate.

How a company deals with a problem is important. Alma Coffee dealt successfully with some gift card confusion that, as it turned out, wasnt even their fault. They were helpful, responsive, and cheerful -- they had everything cleared up in just a few hours. 5 Stars for solving the problem rather than shifting blame!

I’ve been driving by their manufacturing place for about a year now. I recently went to the retail shop at the Circuit in Woodstock Georgia. Honestly this is the best tasting coffee I have been able to find. I’ve tried coffee from many places around the world and this one is up with the best I’ve ever had. The best part is they’re local and I can drive 2 miles down the street and buy a bag. Enchanted dark roast is my favorite. I really appreciate the packaging which includes details about the farm the region and the altitude. The people I’ve met at the retail counter are super nice and helpful.

I got a tour of the roasting facility today. It was great learning the history of the company and its roasting process. The staff is very engaging and nice. So far Alamas coffee is the best Ive had in Georgia. Ive tried Almas Passion Medium Roast which was excellent. Today I picked up some Enchanted Dark Roast.

Alma Coffee is simply the best! Last year I visited Hawaii and toured Kona plantations, but the fresh rich Essence, grown in Honduras and roasted locally is far superior.
