It has an ok selection. I was surprised to find out they dont carry used books anymore. Kind of defeats the purpose of going there.

Was fine. All kinds of single mommies and cuties. No world of warcraft novels or lude funko pops though.

The manager Phyllis is completely unprofessional and rude for no reason. I was minding my own business shopping when all of a sudden Phyllis appeared and started whispering to another employee who happened to be near me then all of sudden there were 3 employees hovering literally right by me like I had done something wrong when I was literally just browsing. Not being very subtle that they were watching me and clearly all talking about me. I did not appreciate being treated like a child who needed to be watched. Not to mention every time I needed to make a return it was some type of big deal and such a hassle for her. She always has an attitude whenever I do returns and I have brushed it off till now. I will not be coming back to this BAM for this reason and I hope BAM either gives her some training on how to treat customers or finds someone better. Also clearly I am not the only one who has experienced a similar attitude and rudeness from her. Read the review a few below mine.

There is a worker here (a manager I assume) who seems to dislike specific customers that visit at this location. On a recent visit with a friend of mine, she tried to tell my friend her membership was no longer active - said friend had renewed her membership in December of 2020. On the most recent visit, this worker was incredibly rude and went so far as to try and embarrass my friend over a misunderstanding. When another worker offered to help my friend put things away, this woman apparently wasnt happy about it and wanted my friend - a customer - to put all her items away herself. Going out of her way to make things difficult for a customer who hasnt done anything wrong is beyond rude and this store has now lost 2 families worth of customers.

THEY DONT WANT YOUR CASH! Tried to pay with a $100 bill for my purchase. Cashier said the manager had to check my bill. I waited for the manager who came up to the register and told me she couldnt take my $100 unless I spent $50 or more. I spent just over $20. I walked out. Apparently they dont take cash money. The money shortage and company policy. This is the only store I have encountered while doing my shopping today that refused to take my cash payment.

Very dishonest employees work here, was instructed to make a delivery I did complete the delivery and then the employee claimed I never delivered their item. Do not recommend

Decent collection of merchandise! The books are outrageously over priced and expensive when compared to other buying options. For example a NY Times Best Seller would cost around 20 dollars for a paperback, while 12 at Target, Walmart, etc. I believe BooksaMillion has a wonderful annual program membership that works for the more than casual reader. Had an excellent board game collection and books on video game artwork. The staff is hit or miss.... When the service is good, its really good.

All employees were great at asking for help. What did it for me was at check out the lady asked did we want a membership. We said we didn’t come enough to get a membership. A nice man behind us says can they use my membership I’m sure they would love to save money. The lady rudely say NO! I don’t think she wants to save any money. They weren’t interested in buying the membership. We as well as the man told her that was very rude of her to say. You don’t know someone’s situation. This was today a few minutes ago at 5:30pm. I will be taking my business else where.

Bought a book, was offered 2 free magazine that I was told would not auto charge me after they were done. Called the number on the magazines and they were going to auto charge me after the free magazines were done. Dirty.Update: having a hard time getting them to stop sending the magazines. Ridiculous.

Not necessarily this store but the business as a whole and since I cant leave reviews on their website Ill do it here. Ordered a $250 collection and when it arrived the box for the set was all beat up. I couldve ordered from Amazon $100 cheaper and gotten the same result. They wont send just the box or partial refund. They want me to send it back and replace. Which would more than likely have the same result. Save your money buy your collection sets off Amazon.

These guys are amazing. Clean organized. Chock full of books. Really cant complain. I dont really require that much help so I was glad when I explained I was just browsing that I was quietly left alone. But was told help would be quickly available if needed. This is how I like to shop. These guys are great.

It was freezing when I was there. The selection is not that great and the prices are much higher than anything found on Amazon. I understand that these other places need to stay in business for competitiveness, but they arent helping themselves much.

Amazing coffee and great selection of books.

Tons of books to browse through. A very thorough variety. Nicely set up with room to walk in the aisle ways. My kids and I went through the science fiction aka comics section and it took a minute to decide. They had a lot to choose from. Quickly got through the checkout and on our way.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place.The customer service here is AMAZING.It wasnt busy when I randomly stopped by, BUT two people took a considerable amount of time out of their work day to help me. I didnt even ask, either.I simply requested to know where one of my favorite authors newest book would be.Im a New Yorker, the only thing I expect is someone to basically grunt and point me to a general direction. Which, ironically, is fine with any New Yorker.Thats not what happened though.I was told where it was and I was on my way. Within minutes, one woman came over to help me look. We found three copies. I took one of them and didnt give it another thought.A few minutes later, she came back over to me to tell me that there was one SIGNED copy in the store left.The hunt was on!We couldnt find it for anything.I thanked her and, again, didnt think any more about it.A few minutes later, I hear someone being paged.Without being bothered at all, suddenly two women were looking for said, signed book.I inquired.Yes, they were both looking - for me!These fine ladies hunted down that the book was sold right before I got there. The apologies flew! They even offered to have one ordered for me.Thats just going above and beyond!I asked if it would be okay if I stayed at one of their tables until Uber arrived. It was a non-issue.They were so very helpful, warm, kind, and efficient. My many thanks to both of them - and the person smart enough to hire them to represent their company.

Store is nice but selection could be better. Too much religious nonsense - Id prefer to see the religion section replaced with more art, science, history, etc. Magazine section is impressive. Lots of low-price books that are affordable for pensioners or the poor. Employees are courteous.

Great experience... Started off just coming in to pass the time, ended up staying longer than expected with my son. They were super helpful, and even opened up the cafe for just me and my son to get something to munch on and made a fresh pot of coffee for me. Wonderful staff, would recommend.

Manager Phyllis is unprofessional and imature for a woman of advanced age. She is back stabbing and would sacrafice anyone to advance her position in what I hope to be soon a failed enterprise...and no I am not a former employee...I just have her figured out. Dont

I really love this bookstore. It has a huge selection of books, very helpful staff, and a cafe right there in the store. I can spend hours just going through all of the shelves looking for great books. Ive e en been able to get dungeons and dragons books here, though it is a shame their selection of 3.5 books has become very skimpy.

One of my favorite bookstores. This store has everything. Lots of books marked down or on sale. Quite places to sit & read and a snack bar. Great coffee! I could stay in here for hours.

This is a great bookstore. The place is pretty neat and organized, and you wont have any trouble finding what youre looking for. I thinks this is a great book store and you should come by to get a book.

This is a great place for any and all your trading needs. There is a large variety of authors in all genres. There were friendly staff members who are very knowledgeable about the store. It is a nice, quite atmasphere to grab a cup of coffee and a good book and read to kill some time.

I love coming here with my dad. This store has nice and personable employees. They also have a wide selection of not just books but Pop Funkos. That and every time we check out the cashier is always pleasent no matter who it is and they remember you and are always happy to see you came back and enjoyed another trip

They had lots of great books and very good sale prices, but they didnt have what we went in for.

It’s a shame bookstores are dying when places like this exist, still their knitting/crochet book section could be A LOT better (seriously?? They share one shelf and sports get a wall?!) but I suppose it is a niche interest so whatever that’s not really worth a whole star. They have current popular books and the staff is helpful.

I had an amazing experience! I was helped by two great associates who were both very experienced and people friendly. One of them even helped me find a new book based of my preferences!!! Needless to say, it was great!

Always find what I am looking for at BAM. Excellent selection of books, magazines, comics, and other interesting things. I do wish the Joe Muggs area was still serving fresh items instead of prepackaged stuff. Customer service is always top notch.

I always get coffee (peppermint mocha lately) and spend way too much. Not only do they have great books, they have an unreal magazine selection and a surprisingly great selection of vinyl. Great stuff.

The hours on the website stated they were open until 11, I get there at 9:55, and Im told we close in five minutes rather than getting a hello. I told the guy I would hurry, so he proceeds to announce over the intercom that the store closed in five minutes so please come pay for your purchases now. Seeing as how I was the only customer in the store, this came off as severely rude. I left without any of my purchases (a premade 20 title book list), and went to the Cleveland Tn location the following day. I will go out of my way to not shop at this rude location again, and have already told many of my friends about the experience.

Books-A-Million has an amazing book collection and could be considered an equal to Barnes and Nobles. If you still read hard copies of books then this is the best place in the area to find them.

Awesome, there a ton of books all. With a large range of them including mangas and comics and even puzzle books and lagauge learning books. And if your a Stephen king fan I saw lots of them including It😈. It was fun checking out the books, wish I could have bought them but Im broke😋.
