I just moved here from Ohio and was looking for a good mechanic. I chose Canton Garage and I couldn’t be more satisfied. Everything from the Customer Service to the repair to the cost was absolutely amazing. I will definitely use them in the future!!

I called the Canton Garage late Friday afternoon in a panic. We were rushing to beat traffic to move my daughter 8 hours away for college when I noticed something peeling from one of her tires. She had picked up a screw the day before and took it to a local Ann Arbor garage to get it plugged/patched. Even though it was almost 4pm on a Friday and they closed at 6pm, Tommy offered to check it out. Turns out the puncture was too close to the sidewall, and the tire should have been replaced, not patched. Tommy sent one of his technicians to the warehouse to pick up a tire and they had us on the road before 6pm. Thanks to Canton Garage, instead of scrambling all weekend trying to get an appointment somewhere, we were able to stick to our schedule.I have been bringing all my cars to Bill Browns for 15 years, and Gerry and Bob always did a fantastic job. Its good to see that Bob is still around, and that Tommy is carrying on the great customer service I have always received from this location. Ill definitely continue to give Canton Garage my car repair business!

I have to speak on The Canton Garage! I recently got lucky and stumbled into the place, my previous mechanic suffered a premature demise and I was forced to look around, but I digress. From the first phone call, Bob spoke like a Joe Everyman. Easy to understand and easy to follow. When I showed up I was even more pleased. Comfortable seating area fully stocked with Faygo, a local soft drink company (support your community business), and Bob was the same person that got us checked I. And dropped the cat. Appointment was Wednesday but I dropped it off Monday in case someone got free and felt ambiguous. Next day Jimmy called and let me know exactly what was going on, he sent me an itemized invoice of recommendations for services. I chose which ones were necessary and affordable and sent it back to him. Again, not expecting work to be done anytime soon, but Wednesday afternoon it was done! Car was washed and ready when I got there, the red pop was chilled to perfection, and I drove out of there with my repairs completed. I wont hesitate to use or recommend any of these privately owned businesses! Being treated well is a much needed experience in todays society! Thank you, Canton Garage, if I could buy a round for the staff, I would. 💪

Came in several weeks ago to have work done on my wifes edge (2016). Ended up needing a full set of pads and rotors. They had it back to me the same day I scheduled service for. Then I just had my jaguar xf (2016) there for a rattle and a squeak, I thought I needed pads and rotors too. But turns out I just needed a new sensor and some clips, also rear pads due to the missing clip. Also had my car back same day service was scheduled. Recommending to everyone in my family and staying here for the foreseeable future.Thanks guys!

First experience after Gerry retired. It was good. Bobs still running the phones and front desk and my service visit expanded to include some work we had discussed prior to the change in owners. It still felt like the local mechanic I have been using for years. The new emailed receipt with included service photos and quick rinse of the truck was nice.

I went to get a wheel alignment done and a full suspension check. I spoke on the phone with Tommy Poole and he was very helpful and understanding in what I needed done. They were very professional and got me my car back in a timely manner.

Had a noise checked on my brakes. Recieved diagnostics and was happy with results.

The staff was very easy to work with, I have a very irregular schedule at work and Tom was able to work with me to find a window to get my car in and out of the shop pretty quickly so I didnt have to choose between going to work or getting my car fixed. Tom was also able to inform me about the costs of various parts checking with me beforehand to make sure I was comfortable with the expenses.

I am very happy with the work they do on my car its the only place I go!

Great local place for all auto repairs. I needed some work done on a 99 Firebird that was garaged for 7 years and had some issues being idled for that long. Bob and the team were great. I received regular updates on the items they were working on and they were in constant communication. Their pricing was very reasonable for the work that was being done. One start for a moment, gathering more information, UPDATE 07/28/2021: Bill Brown Clinic quoted +2250 for repairs, cost would more goes up after job is complete, I rejected this quoted and inspection costs they charged was $360! for inspection!!!! I moved to another repair shop and the repairs costs was $1300 (labor + parts) and after a couple of months my car is running as it should be with no issues, ONE START OR LESS FOR THIS PLACE.

If they couldnt find something upon an initial look, they just didnt say okay sorry we couldnt find it. Could not be happier with Bill Brown Auto Clinic. I took my car to 2 different shops plus a dealership for the same issue and nobody could diagnose it properly. It seemed to go away but came back right away. I spent most of the year trying to fix it myself and could not figure out what was going on. I finally looked around and saw good reviews for this place and took it there. They diagnosed the problem right away and my car has been running great ever since. Super knowledgable and very friendly.

Bill Brown has been around for as long as I remember, and Ive been taking my cars to them exclusively for over 10 years. Ive never had the slightest issue with their service or their work quality, everything theyve done to keep my 15-year-old truck on the road has been solid. Theyre definitely not the cheapest, but thats because they hire good mechanics at a decent wage and use quality parts. You get what you pay for here.
