My Finanće and I were on the interstate when our power steering went out of our truck while pulling our boat and we wrecked. The police arrived and they were wonderful. They even tried to help us fix our truck to keep from having to call a tow truck. Unfortunately we couldnt get the truck fixed therefore we had to call a towing company so It brought us to this particular company. Unknowing of the service we would receive we called. When the tow truck arrived the gentleman that came to haul our truck and boat was very helpful and was very kind. He was very hard working and dedicated to get our belongings onto the back of his truck safely. However when it arrived to the tow yard it was a absolute nightmare. We were told that the tow would cost us $175 then a storage fee of $25 per day afterwards. After three days of fighting with this company and trying to get information and paperwork together for tag recipients, title, insurance, license and getting the owners of said vehicles together mind you we were 2 hours away from home ourselves and my fiancegrandfather who is elderly and whom lives 4 hours away all together to get to this tow place with our other truck and trailer and another truck to haul the boat we end up with a tow bill of $1300. If my math is correct none of the tow fees that we were given on a card could have amounted to $1300 and thats after we spent 8 long hours traveling, paying a sitter, gas and diesel for other vehicles and to have our vehicle and boat fixed because of the wreck all while in the process of moving 4 hours away from our hometown and replacing the valued items from our home that got lost/destroyed in the wreck and/or tow stay. I would not recommend this place or outrageous price for any tow company but this was a nightmare for sure.

Less than 45 min response from the on-call tower in the middle of the night. He was very skilled and professional and took great care of our vehicle. They’ll be my first recommendation if someone I know needs a wrecker. Be sure to ask for Pikachu 😂

I was in wreck and the police officers had called the towing company which they arrived on time quick to the scene. But yet when I went to go get my car towed to my insurance company place to get it fixed this towing company are charging fees to hold the car as well would not discuss anything with my insurance company . They where very rude my insurance company a hard time as far as getting the vehicle released to them but when I called they didnt get any of my information as far as my name or anything else for me. I wouldnt use this company

They were able to tow a company vehicle when no one else would--kudos for that. When I called to make arrangements to have it transferred to a Dealership they treated me very badly---like I was a criminal, not really a person--they must have to deal with scum of the earth--that sure is how they treated me! Dont use them if you dont have to--unless you are a criminal and are use to being treated as such. Youll feel right at home with their arrogance

My son was in a wreck and the police dept. automatically called them. The tow truck driver was nice and professional. as, y son just totaled his car. The man at the tow yard was rude, called me an explicit and told me to leave the property. i had filed my claim and needed my sons house key. Kinda sad that our 911 service would use on demand such classless people. if you have a choice DO NOT use this wrecker service.

This company towed one of our trucks 10 miles and had cleaned up some shingles off of the road we finished the clean up ourselves and they charged us almost 7k to do it. They did assist us in getting the container of shingles off of the truck however they were then to tow it to another destination and gave us the run around for several days just to call me and tell me to get another towing company to tow it from them to where the truck needed to go. I think the price was outrageous for what they did and they did back out on the other part of the deal. Recommend using Patriot for your towing needs in that area.

All of these guys here were nice and a huge help when we needed them. They even told us we may have been overcharged by another company for a tow. Although we werent able to fix the wrecked truck, we will come back for repairs when needed and an affordable tow too.

The guy at the front desk was not personable and kinda rude. He does not demonstrate good customer service at all. The only person with a good attitude was the tow truck driver, so thank you to him. Would have thought him to be a little nicer since we had to pay 385.00 for a tow less than 5 miles away because of n accident plus another 85. For tow off his property 2 miles down. So 470. Total for picking our vehicle up on 575 and taking it to his lot and back to our home. 6 miles total together. What a janky way to take peoples money. And he was rude??? 🤔😕

I needed my car towed first thing in the morning and when I spoke with someone the night before they assured me it would be no problem. It is now noon the next day and my car still hasnt been picked up. I received no call informing me that they wouldnt be able to get it in the morning and when I called twice I was told I was next on the list. If you need your vehicle towed in a timely manner I would not recommend this company.

Needed car towed. They were on time and delivered car to dealer safely. I also thought they were reasonable in the price.

Had my daughters car towed after an accident. She wasnt able to retrieve her things as she was taken to ER. When we went to retrieve her things from the wrecker yard, all of her change was gone and her debit card missing as well. Thats cold blooded.

My truck was impounded to the tow yard as I had no say so in who was towing the truck. They left mud all over my truck. Dirty hand prints everywhere. When I went to pick the truck up they were very rude and arguing with me about everything. Saying my new tag receipt where I registered it was wrong (which he admitted he was wrong after the fact). I was hollered at while looking at my truck making sure everything was like it was when they towed it. Horrible and corrupt company overallThey do not take care of customers vehicles and are VERY unprofessional while talking to customers.

Mauldin responded to an accident and towed my sons car. They then charged $400 for the towing fee and refused to allow access to the vehicle to retrieve personal items until that amount was paid.Furthermore, they told us that it would cost several thousand dollars to replace the airbags. I guess they didnt realize that I have friends who are mechanics and it was easy to verify that the price they were quoting was well beyond insane.My family has used Mauldin for generations, but as of today - I can no longer, in good conscience, recommend this company to anyone.Anthony and Angela were both rude and hostile to me and to my son during the process of trying to resolve the situation.I dont know what happened to this company that was once a cornerstone of Canton, but whatever it was - it wasnt an improvement in any way. My parents and their parents would be appalled at how this company is doing business now.

They say one thing on the phone and then say another thing once youre there in person. Check the Code of Ordinances of Cherokee, Sec. 66-52 and basic fee is 175$

This is the most corrupt business establishment I’ve ever been to. My car was impounded with several others during a snow day. I went to pick it up the next day with my brother, who owns a towing company in the next county over. When the manager said the fee was $300, my brother asked to see the paperwork. He pointed out that the state cap is $175 for tow services.All of a sudden, the manager flipped a switch. He began yelling at us that he had other customers and if we weren’t going to pay up, then we needed to leave. His reaction was shocking; all the red flags were going up. He knew that what he was doing was illegal and completely wrong- taking advantage of people in bad situations. How are they getting away with this???

I have known the owners all my life. Always great customer service, great quality work and a pleasant atmosphere. If you need your car repair then call on the Mauldin team of record and repair service. I promise you they will definitely take care of you and you wont be dissatisfied.

This place is a complete and total illegal scam operation. If you have the choice, DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!! This place needs to be SHUT DOWN! To be charged twice the legal limit for towing after youve lost control of your car and flew into a ditch because of heavy snow and ice. You go through a scary and traumatic experience, come back for your car only a few hours later to find it gone and then discover that you need to pay over $300 to get it back?!? Legal limit is $175. To take advantage of people who have suffered like this is soulless.

Absolutely fantastic company to deal with. Tim and Travis were assigned to my project and were great drivers / operators of their equipment. Very professional and honest. Great communication along the way. When Tim and Travis say they can do it they mean it ! I had a special request to move a 40 foot container and they did it perfectly. My car got into a minor accident and the Police had it towed to Mauldin Body Shop near by. Debbie was always very friendly and professional. The car looked even better than before the accident, and they even detailed it before returning it to me! Would have given 5 stars but it took over a month for the repairs. Slow but very good.

Would not recommend Mauldin to anyone. I had a highway accident a while back. Police showed up and said we needed to get the car off the road fast. They offered Mauldin since they were the fastest. I said it was fine. So my car was taken to their shop for repair. And my car sat in their shop for a month and a half. Two weeks in I was calling them twice a day and they always gave excuses like Everyones out at lunch or Im not the one that handles these things, please hold and Ill transfer you (They usually hung up on me after transferring my call) Finally, after a month and a half. They told me the car was totaled. So they charged me for the towing, and tried to charge me the storage fee ($25 a day) I told them I wasnt paying it. They were at least decent enough to understand that. Once I got my car back though I still needed it fixed since it was totaled. I took the car to a mechanic I know personally, and he was able to fix the car with ease and I only paid $900. I would not recommend Mauldin to anyone. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from them

My daughter was in an accident yesterday on 140 and the police department called Mauldins to pick her car up since it was non drivable. I guess they are contracted with them for some odd reason. They towed the vehicle maybe 8 miles and the bill was 375 dollars for 8 freaking miles, not only that the car stayed on there lot less than 24 hours and it was another 75 dollars for a total of 450.00. This company should be put out of business or lose the contract from the city. Im going to contact the marshalls office which everybody that has been involved with this company should do and complain. I want crooked business like this to go away.

Took my van in to have body work done after someone hit my van. What a awesome job! You would never know where it was hit before. Paint was blended beautiful also! I would highly recommend them. Talk to debbi shell take great care of you to!

My moms car got towed here after an accident. Really friendly and accommodating people. In an industry over run with people trying to take advantage, this place is a breath of fresh air. Made a stressful experience lighter by being so helpful and nice. Helped me get in contact with a buyer for my totaled car who encouraged me to shop around so I knew the offer was fair and competitive. Tasks I dreaded ended up being a really pleasant experience. Good people.

$ 375 just to tow a car for less than 7 miles from a wreck, what a joke . Then it’s 25 dollars a day to keep the car in their yard. Ok that’s understandable but what isn’t is the fact that the car hasn’t been in there a week and they want $200, I’m no math wizard but 7 days x25= 175 and the car has been in there 6 days and so I’m getting charged for 8 days??? WOW and the service is absolutely rude. Definitely don’t recommend these guys to anyone, there are much better rates out there.

This place is amazing! My husband took my car in and received an estimate within an hour. They even discovered additional damage that was not readily visible. My car was perfectly repaired, I picked it up exactly when promised and was charged the exact amount of the estimate! This is what I expected and what I received. Mauldins has an excellent reputation in this county and my experience shows that they deserve it!

Genuine and good people. Had some problems with a repair but they stepped up and worked on it until it was correct. What more could you ask for?

I called Mauldin to get a quote to install a new rear bumper cover on my daughters car on Tuesday and they told me they would call me on Wednesday with a quote. The same thing happened on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with their final promise to call me on Monday. Today is Tuesday and no call. Not sure they really care about customer service. I will never call again. If they cant keep their word after promising to call me 4 times, how could I trust them with my business. Disappointed.

This place is one of the worst towing companies I have ever dealt with. Less than 4 days its nearly $450 to get out of the lot. You need insurance card license and a written release from the police department if impounded. And anyone dealing with them know its cash only. The people are just rude except for one older gentleman.

DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY HOOK YOUR CAR AT ALL COSTS!After an accident, they drove off before I could give instructions to either deliver the car to my home or mechanic. They stole my car. Georgia drivers have the right to direct tow operators as to where the vehicle should end up. As I am told by Cherokee County Deputy Sheriffs, this is usually a cash pay option which was possible.After the car was delivered to a lot I did not approve, I asked Mark to check the car to see if it could be fixed. He told me to call back. I did the following day, he said they were looking for parts. He did not assess the car, nor provide any mechanic input. I asked him if he had my phone number and he said yes, though I had never given it to him. We went into the weekend, and of course the 24 hour towing company was closed. I called the following Monday and asked about how much they were going to tell me I owed. Mark said 300 for the accident, 75 for admin, and 35 for storage (never mentioned a daily rate), and said he would waive the storage. I responded with a question about where the service agreement was that showed I owed this, and he replied that it was 300 for the accident, 75 for admin, and it would be 35 a day for storage, have a nice day then promptly hung up.At 08:58 on the following Tuesday I called to inform Debbie that I would pick the car up at 11:30. She said that they would do what they could do, I then called back at 11:10 and spoke to Mark to inform that my tow driver would be there at 12:30. Mark said that would be fine. I had called the police to escort me as I expected the multiple cars placed in front of my vehicle had not been moved... the cars had not been moved and we wasted valuable police resources waiting for the Mauldin staff to move 5 cars in front of my vehicle to allow my tow driver to load it.Debbie asked for my owner info and stated that we dont just let people take cars to which I responded that is exactly what you did, you did not have my authorization to bring the vehicle here. When time came for payment (with police in the room) the bill was $350. 150 for the tow, which is fine, 50 for cleanup, which Cherokee FD did and Mauldin has no right to, and 25 per day for storage, which Debbie said was a good deal. She said its usually 35. I found it odd that there was such a discrepancy among verbal and paper totals with law enforcement present, which indicates they have no business skills and are simply attempting to prey upon anyone they can.I requested the companys insurance card and was told straight up no by Debbie. I have pictures of the vehicle before and after it was hooked, and there is obvious additional damage from the tow.If you stole my car in the first place, 1 dollar is more than you deserve, so we are way past fair. Check this shops website, and see that the towing page is completely blank of any info. They are thieves and con artists, and are happy to prey upon anyone that they think is at a disadvantage. I have contacted my local Sheriff, and will continue to do so in any effort to remove this company from any non-preferential tow rotation list.Nausiating experience from beginning to end.

Like thy charged her 300 bucks just to bring it in! & while I was there my sister ask me a question in Spanish & the lady was like english please like what kind of service is this? I was recently rear ended in Atlanta sitting at a redlight. I called their number at 8 pm that night, there was one of their wreckers there to pick my van up within 45 minutes. The insurance company that hit me kept jerking me around saying they were investigating it The person hit me in front of a cop, and he was trying to get out of it. Frustrated I spoke with Debbie at Mauldins and she promptly jumped in and got with the insurance company and had an adjuster there the very next day. She stayed on top of it, and refused to let them use cheap aftermarket parts. They had it ready 3 days faster than the adjuster allowed. I know these will be the ONLY people I ever let tow, or do the body work for me ever again!!!!

Customer service is awful I called up there to see when my truck was going to be done and every time I call they never know. The lady always tells me to call back the following day . They told us 2 days and to bring my truck in on Monday (Jan. 22) It’s a minor fix of some scratches on the side of my car and side mirror. The company knew what needed to be done and my car info before bringing it in.(I had estimate done)Update: Finally Friday ( Jan 26) a man answered and told me that they didn’t have the supplies for fixing my truck and and had to order them in. ( what was the point of telling me to bring my truck in Monday?) He added another week. He told me to call back Thursday (feb 1) to see if it would be done. This will be 2 weeks to fix a little scratch and side mirror. Never ever returning to this shop again and I do not recommend this place to anyone. They are not organized and they are very unprofessional.

On top of that he DESTROYED THE INTERIOR of my vehicle and he towed my truck while in park to destroy it even more, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THESE PEOPLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. BEWARE!
