Well 2021 is “not” the ideal time to be looking for the perfect “new car” with supply chain disruption and low inventories across all OEM’s and their brands.. But I hit a home run walking into Kempthorn Motor Group in Canton this past week.. We were in the market for a VW or Mazda for my wife. I am glad we stopped by here. We didn’t have an appointment but still Bob was very friendly and helped us test drive vehicles and answered all our questions.They didn’t have the best deal for the trade in but it is not a usual time for auto market nowadays. So we had our cash in hand and went back later for the purchase. It was a smooth process.

I recently leased a car through Kempthorn Mazda with Jessica Yoho and it was a wonderful experience. I initially went through their online inquiry system and she was very responsive to my questions! She accommodated me outside of my scheduled appointment and was able to reserve a car for me before it arrived on the lot. They also kept it in the showroom when it arrived after cleaning it, so it was spotless for my pick up. Overall, it was a fantastic first-time buyers’/leasers’ experience!
I recently became a T12 paraplegic from a MVA, so to say the least, shopping around for a car has been a point of anxiety for me. When my dad and I came to Kempthorn, I was worried that i’d be written off since i was in a chair. That couldn’t have been farther from the truth for Bob Novak. He was so kind and patient with us, and helped me find a car that I know i’ll be so safe in. I would recommend Bob to anyone looking for a car, but specifically for someone who is disabled and might be worried about car shopping. Bob will care about YOU before he cares about his sale. Not a very enjoyable experience. I drove fairly far to purchase a preowned Mazda and they lowballed me on the trade in and didn’t want to budge. Their excuse was the key fob doesn’t work. That’s like $8 max for a new battery. Like seriously? It was in good condition and very low miles for the year. The sales guy’s name is Rod. I wouldn’t recommend to work with him. Apart from that they gave me a pretty bad interest rate for someone with a credit score in the mid 700’s. They were making me sign paper work before I even knew what my payments would be. I just didn’t leave with a very good feeling
While in town for a family emergency my mazda required general milage service and I needed help with my tires. The service center here was able to get me in and out same day and even gave me a loaner so I could take care of my family obligations while they worked on the car. Everyone was super friendly and helpful and saved this out of Towner a lot of stress knowing that my car is ready to handle the 5 hr trek home safely. Top notch service at prices lower than my home dealership. And their peanut butter cookies are great. 😃

I just remembered that when I bought my car here a year ago we had a terrible experience at this dealership. Yes, it was that bad that I am deciding to make this a personal holiday where I remind people of why they should not buy from this dealership.1) They knew we were coming back to buy the car and it wasnt cleaned or prepped at all.2) When asking my parent who was the cosigner for the financing on the car they questioned and scoffed at what he made.Dare I go on..3) As I said they knew we were coming to buy the car. There was no walking around and test driving cars. We were there to get on car and only one car and they knew that. There was no problem on our end with credit or paperwork. Yet we were there for over 6 hours.Man I wish I remembered their names. But we had a terrible experience and I hope you decide to go somewhere else to buy your car.

Salesman Bob Novak was excellent. Extremely helpful throughout our entire purchase.Also, Bob knew how to explain all of the details about the car....the infotainment system and all of the other vehicle system settings.Bob took us around the dealership and introduced us to other employees to include the service manager.Kempthorn was heads above how we were treated when we bought our last car at Progressive. The salesman there had no idea how to operate any of the vehicle systems and there was also no owners manual in a brand new vehicle. They told us to access it online or buy one through some website.Im totally sold on Mazdas and on Kempthorn and Bob Novak...!
First time at this facility and I was beyond satisfied with the quick service to my vehicle. The loaner car then provided was gorgeous and they kept me up to day every step of the way with their incredibly friendly staff. Not only did they fix my car (there was a Mazda recall) but they cleaned the entire thing before I came to pick it up!

Very straightforward and honest, never had a doubt about the quality of the vehicle or dealership. Got to test drive the vehicle alone and we got to go through things at our own pace which was nice. I had my CX5 in for routine service. Despite what is going on with COVID, I had no concerns or worries. The service area took all the necessary precautions. Joe Ducker was extremely helpful in making sure my concerns about my car were addressed. I didnt feel rushed and he was very patient. He kept me informed of my cars status and how much longer it would take. Joe was very thorough in going over the invoice and all that was done with my car. The office staff was polite as I was checking out and again, I had no worries or concerns about safety. Great service and staff!!!

I left my Mazda 2 weeks ago for faulty air bags that needed to be replaced.The staff were very helpful about getting me a car to drive while my car was being worked on to replace the potentially deadly air bags should they deploy. Then the horror story begins.......I went to pick up my car last Friday to find GREASE ON THE ARM RESTS.....GREASE HAND MARKS ON THE PASSENGER CLOTH SEAT (BACK), THEN A DARK MARK ON THE SEAT OF THE PASSENGER SIDE SEAT...... ALL OF WHICH WERE NOT THERE WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN.....NOT TO MENTION THE RANCID SMELL IN SIDE THE WHOLE OF THE CAR......I WAS NEVER SO UPSET.....ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SEE THE GREASE ON THE ARM OF THE DOOR..ETC......VERY UPSETTING ND MADE ME SIC....I HAVE MY CARE CLEANED WEEKLY AND DO THE TOUCH UPS MYSELF ......NOW TO HAVE THESE MECHANICS MISTREAT MY CAR AS IF THEY HAD NO RESPECT FOR MY PROPERTY........IT WAS A REAL SHOCKER AND MADE ME SIC.......I AM STILL SIC ABOUT IT........HOW CARELESS,.....THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED.......I NEVER DREAMED SOMETHING LIKE THIS WOULD HAPPEN.........THE WORK TO GET MY CAR BACK TO CLEAN.....MY GOD................I AM AFRAID TO PICK UP MY CAR TUESDAY............I EXPECT BETTER....VERY HURTFUL AND DEPRESSING..........GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER.........
