Tonight we went to IKEA for dinner!Swedish meatball platter, with 4 additional meatballs, mashed potatoes, broccoli, and an added piece of garlic toast.I also had a groensakskaka, a delightful vegetable medallion a potato-based dish with broccoli, leek, onions, and cheese. I liked it and it turns out you can buy them Frozen!We shopped around a bit and then completely forgot to get a frozen yogurt ice cream cone. Im kind of bummed about that that was half the reason we went there!

The couple items I really wanted werent in stock, even though the shelf said they were.. drove over an hour each way.. spent almost $100, but easily could have been about $400.. so that was a bit disappointing.. one day well get back over there.. hopefully theyll have better stock.

I love Ikea! Super fun place to dream about your home! DO NOT go on the weekends if you would like to have fun! It is super busy! My favorite times to go are Tuesday and Thursday night :) Enjoy 😉

Love this store. My daughter and I completely enjoyed looking for ideas to change her bedroom. It was a success. We got beautiful fake plants which look real; picture frame and prints; flicker wick tea light with a cute holder; multi box with mirror to use as a jewelry box and so much more. We want to go back for more.

Its a maze. You have to follow the path to see everything and also to exit the store.I like Scandinavian design. If you like clean, minimalist, non intricate furniture that is not expensive, this is the place to shop. I found some nice pieces that were sold out but sales associates assured me to put my name on a list and they should have the item in next week. ( Thats. sounds too good to be true) but well see.Update:It was true! They called me about a week later to say the cabinet I put on hold was in and ready to deliver. Ikea delivered the cabinet with care and about a week later, my son-in-law came over to put it together. It took about an hour, but we were listening to old songs and catching up on old times. It was all good! The cabinet is quite tall and it is able to hold all my fine china😊

I enjoy shopping with Ikea, its like a little treasure hunt! The entire staff at this location can use whatever training Chic-fa-la employees receive. Not one smile, not one friendly greeting. Beside the fun of shopping with Ikea the feel of this location is stale.

We went early about 10:30 in the morning probably the only one nearest to Detroit but it was very clean and the staff was very helpful although it was hard to find products because I guess everything is in the Port of Long Beach or New York or LA but everything was pretty stocked as well as it could be I would encourage everyone to visit Ikea is good exercise its nice to walk around and you never know what you might find just check them out

Overall, IKEA is IKEA, and I will continue going back whenever I need a piece of furniture. However, this location does seem to have some difficulty updating their inventory list online, and I showed up to find they were out of stock for what I needed. Workers are generally very nice and easy to work with. The whole place has a the feeling of “just trying to get by,” and I’m sure the pandemic is contributing to that. Overall, a fine experience.

Ordered an IKEA kitchen delivered to the second floor of my building. I was given a 4 hour window when the drivers would show up.They showed up 2 hours early and yelled at me for not being there. They decided to do another delivery before mine and again showed up outside the time window but luckily I was there. They proceed to drive their delivery truck into the side of my building, knocked over a large branch off a tree, verbally threaten me with assault, and then dropped my cabinets off in the middle of the street. I was still charged the full price of the delivery plus the extra fee for taking it to the second floor, which they didn’t do. I called ikea customer service to file a complaint. They said they would refund me the delivery fee (they haven’t yet) and gave me the information for the delivery company (it was the wrong company). I did my own research, found the company, and submitted pictures and videos of the incident. I was promised a call from a manager at this ikea store as well as a call from the manager of the delivery company. I’ve yet to receive a call.If I could give this experience negative stars I would.

Great place for your home furnishing needs! Just walking around brings so many ideas to mind. Had to try the Swedish meatballs that everyone raves about and was presently surprised. Got a few other odds and ends from the impulse sections too. If I did not live far away I would be here all the time.

A lot of items we wanted were out of stock so that was disappointing. We drove an hour to come home with just a few things we went for. Too crowded not to require masks.

First time visiting IKEA and it wasnt bad. I dont see the hype behind it but it is nice to find everything you could need for your home. Their displays were great, it allows you to see the items laid out in a room. The best part was knowing the square footage of the room along with the prices for all items used.

Boy, IKEA is a strange place to be the minute it opens and during this pandemic.Needless to say, it was empty, quiet and easy to make it through without the chaos that normally engulfs any IKEA, especially during the holiday season.The store was very clean and everything well organized. However, this location was out of a lot of furniture. Anything thats black or dark brown seemed to be low or gone. Whittle and grey are what remained.Quick checkout though and yes, their cafeteria was open for carryout.

There was a bed frame that was low in stock so your website would not let me order & pay online. I live three hours away so my 75 yr. old Mom volunteered to drive one hour to pick it up for me. The three boxes weighed a total of over 200 lbs the Canton MI store was very helpful and I want to call a HUGE SHOUT OUT to Greg who loaded her car with a smile under his mask. Thanks Greg!! You’re what makes a store so great 😷 :)

The building is huge, and the hour or two I spent here definitely wasnt enough to see everything. Dont miss the clearance section and the grocery section by the checkouts! I was a little disappointed that there were a few things I wanted they seemed to be completely out of (a cat tunnel and a glass water bottle dispenser). However, it was near closing and a major US holiday so its understandable if theyre not stocked great.

Not generally a casual stop. IKEA is probably best experienced with either a very specific mission or with a goodly amount of time to wander.Staff are generally friendly and helpful. Products range from disappointingly cheaply designed to brilliant.

Great pricing on new computer desk components and their wood-look veneers look just like wood now.. got stuff from IKEA nearly 20 years ago we still have and its not nearly as nice. Only issue is the website said they had Alex drawer units and everything else in stock but were all gone after our 45 minute drive there.. the Alex came in that night so we drove back over the next day.. another $7 in gas but it looks so cool set up!

Another fun trip to IKEA. Its always a great time to just wander around and find good deals on interesting and unique stuff (and still end up spend too much money, lol). We had some trouble with some furniture we were ordering and Julia happily helped us get it figured out. Even got some Christmas shopping done too. They werent too busy or crowded and everyone was pleasant (employees and other shoppers).

I was surprised at how easy everything was to find as it was my first time here and I’ve heard it can be very difficult. I definitely bought more than what I came for but really enjoyed my experience and appreciated the cafeteria. I’m 37 weeks pregnant and didn’t have a hard time walking through too. 10/10 would recommend going!

I never get bored no matter how many times I go here. I usually buy kitchen items but what I dislike here is the fact that they dont stock up some of the items. In my last two visits I thought they would have added trivets ( big ones) and also some of the plastic airtight boxes too were empty in the shelf.

The product is good but it Difficult to install

This review is for Janet, one of the managers at IKEA, who is AWESOME. I was struggling to load a huge box into my car and Janet (who I think may have been on break and didnt even have to help me) came over and totally figured out how to load the car and helped me load it. I dont know what I would have done without her... oh wait, I do... I would have had to return the item. The other employees in the self-serve area were great too. Thank you, Janet!!

I had an excellent experience shopping for and ordering the needed fixtures for my antique and collectible booth. All have been ordered and Im awaiting the delivery. All of this is due to Alex and her excellent abilities in aiding me to achieve my goals. I strongly recommend you seek her out, on the second floor, when next you visit this store. Alex will fulfill your needs to your satisfaction.

Very tasty regular and veggie dog. The crispy onions on it was the perfect touch. The pulled pork sanwich was great too. It had a lot of flavor. Friendly staff and a clean place. I recommend the pear cider too. Good flavor and dry....not too sweet.

I visited this location today and every encounter with their staff was great. A wonderful young man named Ahmed who was working in the kitchen area was the hero of the day! Ahmed was very friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely happy to help. Thank you to my twin ;)

I love IKEA stores! The endless amounts of modern and Nordic decorating ideas can keep a person wandering the store all day. They offer many different sections, each with different areas of the house as examples of how and where to use their items. The store is very clean and has carts to put all your finds in. Plenty of parking available and handicap accessible parking and also all areas inside including an elevator. The store is very large, as all IKEA’s are, so it is very easy to loose your direction and how to get to the checkout area so thankfully they have many signs and employees to help when you get lost. They offer most things for any room including bathrooms, bedrooms, baby & children’s rooms, kitchens, living rooms, dining rooms, closets, storage ideas, and more. They also have a small place to grab something to eat such as a hot dog and pop on your way out. Make sure to check out their area of food items also! The chocolate and candy is a favorite of my kids and my whole family adores the lingonberry fruit spread and I buy many of them each time I visit the store. If you are planning on visiting and have never been in one of their stores before, plan accordingly, you will be there for hours checking out each section. Highly recommended!

Good store that is clean with plenty on display. Be prepared to walk through the entire store, which takes about 15min if you dont stop to look at anything.

The store wasnt busy on Thursday at 5 & we could leisurely look around & shop the ample displays. Staff were readily available & helpful.

GREAT place to look for quality furniture AND I luv their room displays for ideas! Its not a place to rush through (unless you know what youre looking for!). Be prepared to take time and be absolutely sure to wear comfortable walking/running shoes...the eatery isnt bad either!

Web site says they have gluten-free food options. My only choices were a dressing free side salad and some steamed broccoli 🥦 Was very disappointed that we couldnt find a proper meal. Serve staff was very polite in helping us. Not their fault. They can only work with the supplies they have.

I absolutely love having an IKEA nearby! While they’re stock has been low the last few times I’ve gone (blame supply chains and the pandemic not IKEA) I still manage to walk out with an abundance of reasonable priced, well made items!

Love Ikea! So many great finds. The cashier we had obviously hated her job, not friendly at all.

Many displayed items were all gone and all the customer would see are empty display boxes in a state of disarray. Checkout lines were very long. The restaurant was back open, but the ketchup dispensers and a couple of the fountain drink dispensers were completely empty. There were several hand sanitizer dispensers and I tried many of them, but they were empty. Especially concerning were the condiment dispensers which required one to push down a hand plunger to dispense. This has to be an ideal way to spread germs!

Went to purchase a Hectar spot lamp that Ikea inventory system showed, 4., None to be found with Ikea floor help.Driving round trip 75, miles 👎

Finally made it here with a pocket full of money and things to buy. After spending 2.5hrs walking around, we left with $10 worth of misc smalls that we didnt need and nothing we did. Literally zero of what we saw and wanted was available to purchase furniture (mostly types of chairs) and decor wise. Very disappointing. Not sure Id bother driving that far ever again. Concept is fun, execution not great.

Fast and easy. I used the IKEA website to make an online purchase, joined the queue, and they were out in less than 10 minutes. I am satisfied with my experience and the service of the IKEA workers.

Everything furniture wise was miniature and we had an issue and couldnt find the exit because it was a maze. We followed the exit signs forever only to realize it wasnt direct, it was just an adventure through each and every department. Horrible experience. It was pressured sales without human interaction... myvfirst thought was if theres a fire, we are never going to find our way out of here.

Love this store. Went fora bed....got a bed. Took lots of pictures of items Im thinking might be good for new home! Clean store, friendly staff. HARDLY ANY WAIT! Coming back soon.

Large selection of items and nice displays that show how to use the furniture. Friendly and helpful staff and an AMAZING cafe and delicious food for a good price. I will say that most of this furniture is a lower quality than other furniture stores. Some pricing is really great and other stuff you look at and cannot believe how high the price is. Also, you definitely get stuck in the maze. Plan to spend a long time here. Overall: great store

I just love Ikea. They have a lot of cute stuff at decent prices. Now that Ive been there a few times I can navigate without getting lost. I like to come for simple things like house decor and kitchen utensils. Its very clean and staff is friendly.

Absolutely horrible store, the employees are very rude. The store was very dirty wont ever be back.

Its fine, but they were out of stuff despite displays, many kiosks out of order - entities like measuring tapes and notepads werent available, but not sure of that was due to covid.

This was such a cool experience and the food was AMAZING. We kind of made a date out of the day here and it was really awesome. My only gripe is how hard it is to find stuff. Youll see something you love and then walk a mile just to find out it its sold out.

I used to really love going to ikea and was bummed by how poorly mapped the layout is now, and how conveniently out of anything not outrageously expensive they are. Oversold on 75% of your inventory is simply poor management. It used to feel like a trip somewhere foreign and interesting and now feels like a furniture buffet line in a filthy Kmart.

Electric Vehicle charging stations / Family parking area are blocked off for a waiting line, the type of waiting line youd expect to see at Walt Disney World.Except instead of waiting in line for something fun, youre waiting your turn to go inside a massive store where you wont find any helpful employees (and if you do they are simply yelling at other people about their masks), empty shelves, and an inventory system that does not match what is indicated online.What you do find in stock is cheap garbage anyway.Woo hoo, I can buy a bag of freezer burnt meatballs on my way out.What is the point of this store again?

Went on the weekend and it wasnt that busy. We really enjoy the furniture we have gotten and make sure to get some Choklad Mork.

The product we got was very sturdy size is what we where looking for. Great visit.

We had some very good customer service from a woman and the home delivery section. We didnt want to go perusing all around upstairs, we already knew what we wanted. She told us exactly where to go and how to get there the fastest way possible. This was definitely a positive thing since I really dont enjoy how big the store is.

Spent 3 hours here. Finally found what I wanted. Git to the warehouse and come to find out the item was mislabeled, with with wrong size, price and product name. So what I actually wanted didnt even end up being available. Besides that I had a good time, it was also my first time!

Great location with friendly staff. This most recent visit today, I experienced the friendliest staff ever in an IKEA. The selection is good and store is organized in normal IKEA way. Items were mostly in stock with a few exceptions. Store is clean.

I ordered an item online a few weeks ago. Ikea has cancelled the delivery 3 times. Each time with a different reason and a few minutes before the delivery should take place. They are not allowing me to reschedule the delivery online. I’ve spent two hours on hold trying to reach customer service to reschedule. This is poor service for a $50 delivery fee.

Use to love this company. We will never order anything from them again. Two months and still waiting on parts of our cabinets. Missed work 6 times because of ikea promising they would be delivered and they canceled every time. Contacted the better business bureau and they dont even back ikea anymore because of too many complaints and ikea not resolving the problems. Living without a kitchen for this long is horrible. You use to be able to pick things up at the store but now only delivery and you never get all the things you need. Do not buy from this company read the reviews and check with the better business bureau first!

Only an hour and 20 minutes from Lansing. Great prices, cafe,deli..great food. Two floors of shopping. Elevators and escalators. Shopping carts, flatbeds,ikea bags that are huge for 99 cents. And everything you could imagine. Have fun go early shop, eat, spend the day. ❤

First visit in over 5 years. Store is not very clean. Second floor staff except for one guy in furniture was not willing to help. Restaurant staff is. Unprofessional, ordered signature meal of meatballs, mashed potatoes and broccoli. Food was lukewarm. Staff was indifferent. First floor staff was helpful. If something doesnt change,, Probably wont be back.

This store was out of everything I wanted. Customer service was rude about assisting me in finding if anything was in stock. The cola was bad, but the meatballs were decent though, so they got a star there. This was my first time to IKEA and I was quite disappointed.

Its an amazing place. They were extremely helpful with my bookshelf or and shipping is so inexpensive. A couple things I wanted were not in stock. Why do they put new thing out if there is no stock behind the display????

Honestly, not a store for everyone. We personally will not go back. The store was super crowded, everyone was rude and just pushed through, the food was awful and the couple of employees we dealt with were less than helpful.The products were difficult to find and mostly out of stock. The prices were okay, but not worth the drive and effort.Go at your own risk, follow the arrows and forget about the idea of personal human space. The store is basically Wal-Mart on Black Friday.
