Burgerville has been our Summertime and roadtrip staple for years now, but after todays order, I doubt well be back. We ordered our usual 2 fish and chip baskets and a burger with fries, and the entire order, rather than being packed neatly and hot and fresh-tasting as usual, was simply shoved into a small bag and completely squashed. The fish and fries were cold and chewy, as if they had been sitting around. A real disappointment.
Rumor has it that the real reason they closed up is because this location unionized. Good way to bust up a union when you shutter the doors. If this is true then that’s pretty shameful. Sounds like the homeless camp nearby was the perfect cover to close the location. Prove me wrong and reopen with the union intact. Until then maybe a boycott is in order.
So expensive for a basic burger fancy name. Pay more for more than one sauce even when we had a huge order of 6 burgers plus... milkshake melted after 10 min drive home. Homeless people walking up to window and cars at drive through. Felt really creepy. Thanks to the young girl at that window who was so kind
My wife and I used to eat here often until a few months ago. The burger meat had a weird flavor and the fries were cold. We eat at McDonalds now.
I always have great experiences at Burgerville locations. The team here is friendly and good at what they do. Happy to have Burgerville around for the occasional burger night.
It is completely boarded up. Has a fence around it too. Unclear if it’s permanently closed or not.
The food is good as it always is from Burgerville; better in taste and quality than the typical fast food establishment, but also more expensive. My boyfriend and I stopped by for some burgers and chicken strips yesterday, and the service wasnt the best. We went during a low-traffic time, so it wasnt too slow. However, it was rather irritating that the guy who gave us our food told us there was ranch in the order, and when we checked both bags there wasnt any sauce.
I typically LOVE Burgerville, but I went today and got a cheese burger with bacon and it seems the patties are now thinner than McDonald’s. See photo. I expect a lot more meat for the price... the sweet potato fries were also cold, I still devoured them but cold fries are just that, cold.My friends burger was wrong, he had food allergies and it wasn’t prepared correctly so he couldn’t eat it. The drive through was crazy long so we didn’t have time to go back.
Food was great, location was meh. There was a lot of homeless camps around this area which made it really uninviting to stay long. We ordered 6 burgers and they charge 25 cents for a sauce if you want more than one which is ridiculous.
First time here. Ordered a small cheese burger, it was pretty good. Looking forward to my next visit and trying something bigger!
Good food but a very long wait. With the dining room closed due to Covid your wait time can be more than thirty minutes. I would have given five stars despite the wait but my fries where cold like they had sat in the bag waiting and my shake was melted. With that wait time I thought it would have been freshly made.
I wish you wouldnt automatically put mustard on your sandwitches. Its impossible to scrape off all the flavor so I just threw my sandwitch away. 5 stars because technically yall did nothing wrong. Just wanted to leave a suggestion.
Youd think that for as much as we pay for food youd treat your employees better.
The onion rings and fries are very good and the burgers are decent.
Hubby and I went there for emergency good food when Red Robin lost our order. It was a better choice. Their drive thru was extremely busy but none of the workers rushed us and they seemed to be in good spirits. As always the food ordered was good though the seasonal truffle fries were to much of a good thing. When ordering I recommend getting a small as Burgerville is erring on the side of generous right now. The reason for the 4 stars is purely the customer service, it was wonderful and I was made to feel MY order was important to them, especially getting it right and good. They were down only one star due to the too generous amount of Truffle Fries, give people a warning aghhhhh.
They used to be a great place to get a burger, now theyre no better than McDonalds.
The burgers are yummy but the fries are amazing. I love that they have an arrey of Gluten free options. Makes it easy for my family and I to grab a yummy bite to eat!
TERRIBLE!!!! Nothing but curbside pickup & drive-thru. Cold fries even though line wa 6 cars deep.
Over priced for the meal and really the cheapest one is around 2.80+, I get you offer fresh but wendys does the same for less......I only go there for mt kid and never got myself.
Good food, service is great. A little pricey and the wait can be looking in the drive through, but curbside pickup with the app is fast and easy. Great rotating seasonal sides and shakes!
Love the chicken and fries basket! Plus the sweet cream shake to dip the fries ! Yummy!
It was really good...but the wait in the drive through was VERY long.
Fast service. Good shakes. But Im always disappointed because I pay $$ for $ quality food. But the shakes are bomb!!
Its fairly average for fast food. Dont hate it but dont love it either.
Best Pepper Bacon Cheese Burger EVER!!🤗
Probably the fastest Burgerville Ive ever been to.
We ordered our food online for curbside pickup. We phoned when we got there and were told they were running behind, so we waited for a good 10 or 15 minutes before someone brought our food out. The food came in a couple of paper bags that were stapled shut. When we got home and opened the bags we discovered a burger that we had ordered and paid for was missing. We even included a generous tip. It’s not likely we will be returning here.
As of 8/10/21, this location is temporarily closed because of the crime and homelessness in the area. Very bad part of town.
Prefer the Oregon City location better. Everything was shoved into the bag and one order of large fries was half the size of the other order of large fries. Also none of the sauces we ordered were in the bag, had to ask twice before we got them. In the end at least everything tasted good.
I love this tiny hole in the wall! Great fish, cooked to order. Lots of choices for the fish. Beautiful desserts, many cakes. Wish the coleslaw serving was a little larger. Can be slow, like I said earlier all fish and fries are cooked to order.Eat there fairly frequently. And will continue to do so 😊
I live out of state now, but I always always make it a point to stop at Burgerville when Im in town visiting. Delicious food, and the employees at this location were incredibly nice in their interactions with us; great customer service!
Burgerville is in a fast food league of its own. First off, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food also arrived quickly and hot. To me the burger was the best part of the meal which does their name justice. I also ordered the marion lemonade and onion rings. The lemonade wasnt too memorable. The onion rings were hand battered in house. I ordered three and didnt realize that they are massive.I also enjoyed the old-school diner feel as well. Dont get me wrong this isnt three course dinning but its great for fast food and customer service.
The worst BV good ever. Hamburger was so salty you couldnt eat it. Paid for a large shake barely half full in cup. I wont return to that store. A shame its gone so far down hill
Maybe it was just a bad day....The line for drive thru was LONG. Like wrap around to the street long. We waited in line for everyone else to order and when it was our turn we were asked to hold on a moment. The moment was almost 10 minutes long! I seriously considered driving away but after waiting in the line AND at the intercom for 30 minutes it just didnt seem right. Its like giving up at the finish line.. When I finally did get to the window for food, they tried to forget my milkshake too. Wasted my entire lunch break just trying to get food, didnt have time to eat it. Thanks Burgerville! Smh
Burgerville is better than In n Out. No doubt about it.
Place was okay. I ordered the black bean burger and a cream shake. Burger was over $6 dollars, it was okay. Service was good.Nothing special
Burgerville in Portland Oregon. We just dont get that here so we were happy to have the opportunity.
I love burgerville but I live about 5 miles away and its frustrating when you get home and items you paid for are missing!
Big burger, perfectly cooked and tasty. Customer service was great!! Thanks again guys!
Great fries and non dairy shakes! Perfect vegan junk food options. Wait time is about 20 minutes typically since it is a popular place.
Burgerville is always good. Always comparatively expensive but with good reason. As we are in take out only enviorment, its a better option than any of the other fast food chains.
The quality has gone down over time for their once illustrious chain. Theyve opted for cheaper products without dropping the premium price. The locations service was great but they will never get a 5 star with the price to quality ratio set where its at.
Really impressed with the quality at burger ville. Its consistent across the board. We got milkshakes & now I understand why they would bring all the boys to the yard. I think its real ice cream, Im always pleasantly surprised by this restaurant, especially at drive through standards, my expectations arent high & they do such a great job
It was good. Loved the rosemary sea salt shoestring fries. Bacon blue burger was good. It was a fast drive thru lunch for about ten bucks...
Well, I should have known to check the bag. I ordered a four or extra piece of fish, but onky got three.
Worst service and quality ever. I ordered 2 cheeseburgers one lg waffle fry and two shakes...$20 worth of food. I had to go back through for a new shake due to the fact I ordered a chocolate hazelnut shake and got no chocolate in it. The lady asked for it back with no apology. I parked and pulled my food outMy Cheeseburger was cold the cheese was not melted at all even after sitting in the bag under a cold fry. I called to see what they could do and they wanted the food back and at the point I had eaten some of it. Honestly the rudest worst customer service I’ve ever encountered with the worst quality food. DONT ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION!!!!!
Always one of the best tasting food of the 4 burgervilles I go to. Fresh vegetables and well cooked chicken, beef and halibut.
Love the food, hate the line to get it. Almost 30 minutes in the drive thru line.
This location is the worst for customer service by the management. The app works some of the time and others it wont work no matter what you try. The fine print says to talk to the local store, did that and the cashier said she would honor the deal. Took my card and then Manager came over and said no. I tried explaining but she just repeated to go through the app. Even said I could show her but she didnt care.
Great food & Customer service
Always nice and friendly staff, tho wait times can be a bit long. I like the new Bliss option for their shakes, sadly Im lactose intolerant and I was excited to try it. Hopefully you like coconut flavor (spoiler, I dont like coconut flavor). They use coconut milk as substitute. The shakes still taste like the original flavor, but it has a very strong coconut flavor over top. Ive tried the hazelnut and the chocolate shakes, which sadly for me both had a heavy coconut flavor. Ill have to stick with their regular milkshakes and hope the dairy pill is enough. 😅
It’s burgerville, usually have good experiences. But they need to put a little more pep in they step in getting food out promptly.
Fresh strawberry shakes! Yum.
What can I say except good NW Ingredients and fresh food great service to
Good service very nice employees happy to help.
I mean its aight. Really hit or miss with the food. I never order fries here because Ive gotten cold ones WAY too many times -_- sandwiches usually okay tho
Time to open the dinning room.
The worst experience with burgers. My colossal burger was cold. It does not tasted nothing. The freaking paties were cold and disgusting. Fresh, Local and Sustainable Yeah, right!. I never back to those disgusting restaurants called Burguerville.
Great food and I love that we got seeds to plant included with our meal. This is a great idea and hopefully more places contribute! My son and I have already planted the cabbage seeds we were given.
Love this place, just wish it was slightly cheaper.
Service was great quick efficient delicious food but eyes are awesome
Their regular burgers have less than 2 ounces of meat and the bun felt old.
I enjoy their rosemary fries and cream milkshake. Its my to go order everytime I visit.
Always a favorite with me! If you have to eat fast food often, Burgerville is the way to go! This location is very busy, with Powell & 92nd Ave at its cross streets. The Max Station is all of 700 yards from both streets, the drive thru line is always hectic. However; it makes up for this by offering only locally owned farm fresh produce and premium meats. Tillamook Cheese, Walla Walla Onions, and seasonal Oregon Marionberry Milkshakes! Like other locations, they offer a Kids Menu, but the website did not mention if they offer senior citizen discount, or honored Veterans discount. This Burgerville location is CoVid-19 compliant and is not offering Dine-in options at this time.
Strawberry 🍓🍓 milk shake !! Delicious 😋😋.
I was frustrated as I had sat in line a long time..the classic chocolate shake was good..rosemary fries good but I didnt get the double cheeseburger I ordered and was on receipt..just a single. I am disappointed!!!! when I went to your store on 162/Division, they didnt even put the order in my bag and I went backj...is it the long lines that have caused this breakdown..your food has always been better than most....I really was mad and I have been a faithful customer ..[perhaps I need a break today and every day for awhile...this gets costly!!!!
Unfortunately I have to at least give one star.Went through the drive through got a burger. Everything that I asked for on the burger was fine but when I went to eat it was just cold. Who likes paying seven dollars for completely cold meat both patty and bacon. When I got to the window I asked for ranch, the guy at the window told me ONE RANCH is SEVENTY-FIVE CENTS.I’m sorry but is that a effing joke!??!!!
The food is always great and the staff is for the most part, always friendly.
Best fast food burger Ive ever had
This location is absolutely awful. They routinely forget things in our drive-through orders and the wait time is horrendous.
Best onion rings
Poor listening skills and TERRIBLE customer service.
Burgers cold, onion rings overcooked, milkshakes runny
Food took forever to get, then sat around for 5 or 10 min before bringing it out
First time there, they have Non-dairy Shakes, so yummy 😋!!!
Best milkshakes around, employee at drivethrough couldnt understand what we said very well
They changed the Crispy Chicken Sandwich.... it was ok, but the old one was better.
They were under staffed. Burgers were cold shake was not good tossed it. I dont know whats going on but whatever they are doing isnt working. Food quality is suffering, and they are one of the higher prices fast food places.
Great food, quick and enjoyable good selection of items as well.
Food is always fresh and tasty and the staff is nice. The line is usually long and they have definitely had some changes in the past couple years (charging for sauces, encouraging tips, etc.) aimed at a less fast food type model but it is still convenient!
Fast, friendly service consistently.
We love Burgerville, when we can afford to eat here. Worth the prices, but also seems like they could offer more deals, especially for loyal customers. For example, bring back the reward card where purchases build points or cash value for future purchases. Otherwise, great local choice.
Sweet potatoes fries with garlic aioli is the best on the plant. Hamburgers ( with the Tillamook cheese of course) are the best. Milkshakes are great.Just ready for a little bit of a wait in the drive thru.Best fast food ever! Highly recommended for all.
I ordered the blue cheese burger and it was not what I expected. It was gross the Bleu cheese was only in the middle of the burger just like the mushrooms on the bottom but piled in the middle. Looked like they didnt care about the food. And then I ordered 2 chia bliss shakes and they misheard me and gave me 1 chocolate one and they had attitude when I asked them for a chia.
Seems to be hit and miss but the truffle fries are LEGIT
I rarely eat fast food, but when I do I choose Burgerville because of the high quality local ingredients. The 92nd and Powell location is usually great, but lately Ive noticed that they have been short staffed so the wait is 15-30 mins and the food quality is inconsistent.Today my order was wrong, burger was cold, and fries were half cooked and soaked in oil. Ive been understanding because times are strange and difficult but... If youre short staffed, please close shop (as Ive seen at other locations.) Customers will understand, Portland loves Burgerville. Plus, it beats waiting 30 mins for pricey, food I literally ended up throwing away... Youre going to start losing customers if this continues.
Theyre fish and chips are so good!!!
Burgerville is a local brand, but I think Im addicted...The rosemary fried and the Northwest Cheese Burger are so delicious.^^
A long wait but worth it.
One of the Best Cheeseburgers in the NW
I recently came by for a late evening meal and was pleased with my visit. The restrooms were finally key code protected for customers only, I remember a while back when I visited and had to wait a long while to wash my hands due to non-customers coming in and only occupying the restrooms. Not only that, service was great as in the young man at the front counter seemed happy to serve me. Last but certainly not least, the food tasted good. My soda tasted right (sometimes soda is hit or miss depending on the facility and its water system) the fries were good and my burger was perfectly cooked, not underdone by any means but not too dry.
