They are incredibly helpful and offer the best of suggestions. I feel very comfortable there and never crowed or pushed into making a decision. If they dont have what you need in stock they get it quickly. An amazing experience each time.

I live this being open. Loved the Agway years ago, happy to have this in its location. Friendly. Decent selection. Lack of backroom storage but seems to be their store model so may have limited quantities of items if you need bulk.

Frank at Finger Lakes Ace was great. I brought my entire family with me to look at a Traeger grill and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. He let us talk over our decision and also gave great recommendations. He wasn’t pushy and actually stayed past closing time to work with us and let us make the decision to purchase. I’m glad that I went to a local owner rather than a Home Depot store. Thanks a lot Frank!

The people at Ace Hardware are very friendly helpful people. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and asked if I needed help looking for anything. I proceeded looking at paint colors and a gentleman helped me pick out a couple colors.

A clean, well stocked store. I was attempting to use the Ace Hardware coupon for my birthday. I was unaware that you could not use the coupon with a sale item. The cashier informed me of this, I paid for the item and after that, the cashier threw the coupon back at me like a childish punk. I will be sure to tell everybody that I know about this stores lack of customer service skills.

These guys are great at stocking things the big guys arent hip to yet. UV disinfectant lighting being one. Plus I try to support local business. But every time Im in there I get the distinct feeling theyre following me around making sure Im not stealing anything. And I dont think Im being paranoid. In a years time Ive been in there no less than 8 times and Ive purchased over 300 dollars of stuff, but I still get a cold, weird vibe from their employees. Im usually in my work clothes, covered in paint and in the middle of a job I gotta get back to so I can imagine my appearance might raise some red flags but they should know by now that Im not the person theyre looking for if theyre looking for a theif.

Love to support our local hardware store. The greeeders at the door were knowleable guiding us to the store for what we needed and picking up our on line purchase. Thank you!

AMAZING customer service at this Ace hardware location! Everytime I go in there they are all so friendly and helpful! I dropped a paint can in their parking lot and they didnt get upset and gave me a new can of paint at no charge.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Someone is always there as soon as I walk in the door to assist me. One of the few places around that still makes keys the old fashioned way and doesn’t use a kiosk. They were able to make copies of keys other places could not.

Great store. Very local, helpfully people. They carry lots of stuff, great hardware section, theyll cut keys. Good prices. They even sell an awesome brand of pretzels

The Ave Hardware store on Farmington/Canandaigua Townline Road has almost everything that you could get at a hardware store.One thing is great here and that is when you walk into the store, 90% of the time, you are greeted by one of their employees. They are usually ready to assist you in locating the item(s) that you are looking for.

These guys are the best! So helpful and knowledgeable. If one person doesnt have your answer theyll find someone who does. Also the Ace rewards thing is great. They give you $5 or $10 to spend, no catch, no minimum order. Just money to spend there. How great is that??

Always have had a positive experience at Fingelakes Ace Hardware. Recently purchased a universal garage door opener (which wouldn’t program correctly). I returned and exchanged it for another type recommended by the associate. Worked perfectly!!! The are professional, courteous and friendly.

I just had an encounter at this store that I can’t believe. I was at an antique store 2 buildings down from this hardware store and was interested in an item that needed C batteries. I didn’t want to spend $80 on the item without knowing if it worked or not so I drove 2 doors down to Ace Hardware. When I pulled in it was 4:06 and there were about 5-6 vehicles still in the parking lot. This particular store has a white vinyl screen around it’s front porch. The walls were down but the front opening was open and I could see workers and lights still on in the store. I started to go through and asked if they were still open when a man with silver hair and glasses stuck his head through the opening like a clown and aggressively asked “What do you think? Have you ever been to a store where you had to put your head through an opening like this to see if they were opened?!” I was so surprised by how rude this man was that I just stood there for a second in disbelief! I started to walk away and I heard the man telling the other workers what a crazy day it had been and how “unbelievable” some people are. I ended up having to drive miles down the road to buy 4 batteries for $10 at 7-11, only to finally get back to the antique store and discover the item was in fact broken. For a store whose slogan is “The Helpful Place”, I am absolutely disgusted by how rudely I was treated and would never give my hard earned money to this type of business. I have worked in the service industry my entire life and would never speak to a customer like this. Thanks for nothing Finger Lakes Ace Hardware!

These folks are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.They helped rescue a nearly botched gas dryer installation by providing the appropriate exhaust vent that wasnt provided with the dryer even though the salesperson at Lowes said it was.

Stor is clean and organized. Staff was extremely helpful in trying to solve my issue. Offered to order what i needed and i was able to pick it up in excellent time.

While they may not have everything the bigger stores have, I always make this my first stop and try to get as much as I can before conceding to the other stores. And if they dont have it, chances are they can order it!Every employee bends over backwards for you and the owner is always appreciative of the business. You certainly cant get THAT from a big box store!

These guys are great. They made a key for me that when I tried it, it worked (went in and turned the tumbler) but I could not get it out of the lock (and it was on the outside of the door). I called them for suggestions and instead Frank Jr came over to the house and got it out for me. NOW THAT IS SERVICE!!! Everyone in the store is always so helpful but this put them over the top for me.

I was looking for some black .70 to .75 ID neoprene hose for the purpose of replacing a section fuel evap line on my car that had holes in it. I measured the length that I needed to be 6 but after getting up under the car to do the work I realized that it would be better to run the line all the way to the connection at the canister in the front requiring 9 - 10. I figured that the folks at Ace Hardware would not take the 6 section back as a return in that it is there policy that hose cut to size can not be returned. My choices were to buy and use a connector for another 3-4 add on or eat the lose of paying for the first 6 section I got and buy a 9-10 piece. Well when I got to Ace, initially these were the two options presented by the man assisting me. He asked me what my purpose was for the hose and after explaining to him the project he decided to override the normal store policy and take the return on the 6 hose I had first purchased and cut and sell me a fresh 10 section with no need for buying a connector and extra clamps. I did not know it at the time but it was Frank the owner assisting me. I was not expecting that he would over-ride his return policy on hose cut to size but he did and I told him along with thanking him verbally I would write up this review. I will definitely be shopping there in the future for my hardware needs. Thanks Frank!

The staff here is always very helpful and their selection of products is well balanced from Ace branded to major name brands.I especially like that they carry The Big Green Egg and accessories including charcoal and different woods for smoking.
